"Tesis ini membahas mengenai efekdisiitas facebook dalam kasus Bihit-Chandra yang dimanfaatkan oleh Usman Yasin dengan mengefektifkan fitur-fitur dalam grup gerakan 1.000.000 pacebookers dukumg Chandra Hamzah dan Bibit Samad Rianto sebagai medium dalam menggalang dukungan solidaritas sosial, dengan melihat pada karakteristik pengguna facebook dan efektivitas cara yang dilakukan dalam menciptakan gerakan 1 juta facebookers pendukumg Bibit-Chandra. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan beberapa karakteristik pengguna facebook melalui propaganda dari Usman Yasin sebagai kreatornya dibantu beberapa administrator yang dapat menggalang dukungan solidaritas sosial sebagai modal sosial mélalui pemilihan isa melalui agenda media dan agenda publik. Sedangkan fitur-fitur dalam grup facebook dimanfaatkan secara maksimai sebagai media dalam membangun solidaritas sosial.

The focus of this study is the effectiveness of facebook especially in Bibit-Chandra cases were created by Usman Yasin. Facebook has created one feature, group, that can be accessed every one, especially member who has been joined. One of type is group of the 1 million facebooker members supporting Chandra Hanzah and Bibit Samad Rianto as a medium for supporting social solidarity, based on the characteristic of facebookers member and effectively ways has done for creating group of 1 million facebookers supporting Bibit-Chandra. This research is qualitative descriptive.
The result of this researach point out some characteristics of member facebooker through propaganda from Usman Yasin as a creator has been helped some administrators for creating social solidarity supporting as social modal through issue choice media public and public agenda. Whereas, feature in group of facebook can be used effectively as a media for creating social solidariy.

"Karya tulis ini membahas customer engagement yang dilakukan oleh Mario Teguh melalui fanpage Facebook. Penulis memilih Mario Teguh sebagai bahan penelitian karena motivator ini memiliki penggemar Facebook terbesar di Indonesia. Tingginya angka penggemar ini membuat penulis tertarik untuk meneliti langkah apa yang ditempuh Mario Teguh demi menjaga hubungan baik dengan penggemarnya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu kualitas customer engagement Mario Teguh berdasarkan model praktik humas Grunig & Hunt. Selain itu, penulis juga ingin melihat sejauh mana kedekatan yang terbentuk antara Mario Teguh dengan penggemarnya berdasarkan indikator relasi Hon & Grunig. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan langsung terhadap fanpage Mario Teguh selama lima belas hari dari 30 November—14 Desember 2012.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa customer engagement Mario Teguh baru mencapai tahap two way asymmetrical, belum sampai tahap sempurna. Meski demikian, loyalitas penggemar sudah mencapai tingkat advocate. Dari sisi indikator relasi, hubungan yang terjadi antara Mario Teguh dengan penggemar baru memenuhi tiga kriteria dari lima indikator yang ada, yaitu control mutuality, satisfaction, dan communal relation. Hal ini menunjukkan komunikasi yang dilakukan Mario Teguh sudah termasuk cukup baik dalam membentuk customer engagement dalam fanpage ini.

This paper examines the practice of customer engagement of Mario Teguh through Facebook fanpage. Mario Teguh had been chosen as a subject of the research because of his huge fans number in fanpage, which made him as motivational speaker with the biggest Facebook fans in Indonesia. Those number intrigued writer to analyze deeper about strategy he used to maintain good relationships with his fans.
This research intend to find out how far Mario Teguh used his social media to engage fans based on PR practical model. Furthermore, writer also trying to see how good the relationships between them based on indicator relation by Hon & Grunig. Research method will be focused on observing the activity on Mario Teguh’s fanpage for fifteen days from November 30th—December 14th 2012.
Result showed that customer engagement of Mario Teguh reached two way asymmetrical model, which is good enough but not yet perfect. Nevertheless, loyalty of his fans already hit advocate stage. Based on indicator relation, relationship between them only represent three out of five indicators. They are control mutuality, satisfaction and communal relationship. This shows that Mario Teguh can manage to build good relationship with his fans through Facebook fanpage.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana orang bereaksi dan berkomunikasi dengan post di halaman Facebook NRA sebelum dan sesudah penembakan Parkland pada Februari 2018, yang mencerminkan perdebatan senjata di Amerika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode digital analytics dan metode campuran, dan diperkaya dengan lensa teori Identitas Sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reaksi dan komentar meningkat setelah penembakan terjadi, yang menunjukkan kategorisasi sosial, identifikasi sosial dan perbandingan sosial dari kedua sisi perdebatan. Penelitian ini berhasil menginformasikan tema umum, konsep, dan perilaku orang-orang dalam berdiskusi tentang penembakan Parkland, memberikan gambaran umum tentang sikap mereka dan perdebatan senjata di Amerika.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to to investigate how people reacted to and communicated with the NRA s Facebook posts before and after the Parkland shooting in February 2018 to see how that reflects their stances in the American gun debate using digital analytics and mixed methods, through the lens of Social Identity Theory. The results showed that the reactions and comments increased after the shooting occurred, showing social categorization, social identification and social comparison from both sides of the debate. This study was successful in informing the general themes, concepts, and the manners in which people discussed in the two time frames, giving an overview of the audiences that participated."

"Media sosial telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan manusia jaman sekarang. Komunikasi antar manusia dan juga organisasi telah dipermudahkan dengan adanya media sosial. Banyak organasi dan perusahaan yang sekarang menggunakan social networking site bernama Facebook, untuk berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan mereka. Namun, ada banyak hal yang harus dipertimbangkan oleh organisasi sebelum memutuskan untuk memanfaatkan Facebook dalam bisnis mereka, terutama disaat masa krisis.
Dengan demikian, tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi. Peranan Facebook Dalam Manajemen Krisis Organisasi. Dengan menganalisis tiga studi kasus yang berbeda, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana Facebook mempengaruhi manajemen krisis komunikasi sebuah organisasi. Studi kasus akan dianalisa dengan menggunakan teori Uses and Gratification beserta Situational Communication Crisis Theory.
Singkat kata, Facebook menyebabkan Hubungan Masyarakat sebuah organisasi untuk menjadi lebih teliti atas kegiatan online mereka (seperti menanggapi komentar), terutama dalam situasi dimana potensi adanya krisis sangat tinggi. Mereka juga harus siap untuk bertanggung jawab atas segala kegiatan online mereka karena segala hal yang diterbitkan online akan berada di dunia cyber selamanya yang mungkin akan berdampak terhadap kerusakan reputasi organisasi.

In today's world, social media has already become an essential part of people's lives. The introduction of social media has made communication easier and faster for people as well as business. A lot of organizations are now using Facebook, a social networking site, in order to communicate to their customers. However, there are many precautions that an organization must take into consideration before it decides to utilize Facebook in their businesses, especially during times of crisis.
Thus, the purpose of this paper is to explore. The Role of Facebook in an Organizational Crisis Management. The research aims to find out how has Facebook affect the communication crisis management of a company by examining three different case studies. These case studies will then be analyzed using Uses and Gratification theory as well as Situational Communication Crisis Theory.
In summary, Facebook caused Public Relations to be more aware of their online activities (like responding to comments) at all times, but even more during potential crisis situations. They also have to be prepared to take responsibility of what they post online as it will stay on the cyber world forever and they can be held accountable for the organization􀀁s reputational damage."

"Saat ini banyak bermunculan aplikasi mobile seiring dengan pertumbuhan pengguna internet, terutama dipicu oleh adanya media sosial seperti Facebook. Internet Business Group (IBG) merupakan salah satu pengembang aplikasi mobile yang ingin meraih pengguna Facebook sebagai pasar potensial aplikasi mobile, dan untuk itu IBG ingin mengembangkan suatu aplikasi mobile yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna Facebook. Namun, IBG tidak mengetahui fitur-fitur aplikasi mobile apa saja yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna Facebook di Indonesia untuk mendukung strategi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa apa saja kebutuhan fitur yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna berat Facebook yang juga merupakan pengguna aplikasi mobile Instagram dan/ atau foursquare.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan cara brainstorming untuk mendapatkan ide-ide baru mengenai fitur aplikasi mobile. FGD akan menghasilkan cerita pengguna mengenai pengalaman pengguna aplikasi mobile dan fitur-fitur yang dibutuhkan. Hermeneutika Fenomenologi digunakan untuk menganalisa data tekstual berupa transkrip FGD, sehingga didapatkan tema umum dari interpretasi fitur-fitur aplikasi mobile yang dibutuhkan. Pada akhirnya, telah didapatkan sejumlah 16 fitur aplikasi mobile yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna berat Facebook di Indonesia.

Recently, there are so many mobile application in the market because of the growth of internet users in the world and social media influence, such as Facebook. Internet Business Group (IBG) is a mobile application developer who wants to reach Facebook users as a potensial market for mobile application, and that is why IBG have to develop mobile application for them. Meanwhile, IBG does not know what mobile application features to be built and needed by Facebook users to support IBG marketing strategy. This research direction is to analyze what features needed from Facebook users who is also Instagram and/ or foursquare users.
This research used Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method and brainstorming to get many creative ideas of mobile application features needed. FGD created user stories that told us what user experiences in mobile applications and new features are needed. Hermeneutics Phenomenology is used for textual data analysis from FGD transcript, so general contexts and themes is generated from interpretation of mobile application features needed. Finally, there are 16 mobile application features that are needed by Facebook heavy users in Indonesia.

"Fitur tombol "Like" di Facebook merupakan sebuah cara untuk menunjukan respon positif atau kesukaan seseorang akan sebuah konten yang diunggah di linimasa, seperti status update. Salah satu motif yang memotivasi seseorang untuk memberikan like di SNS adalah adanya like yang sudah ada pada konten tersebut. Mengacu pada teori konformitas dari psikologi sosial, peneliti berhipotesis bahwa seseorang cenderung untuk mengikuti perilaku atau respon orang lain dalam SNS. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk melihat apakah kehadiran "Like", status pertemanan pengguna yang memberikan "Like", dan popularitas pemberi "Like"; dapat memengaruhi pengguna dalam memberikan "Like", pada sebuah status update yang mereka baca di Facebook. Sebuah penelitian natural field experiment dengan desain penelitian 2 ada vs. tidak adanya like x 2 pemberian like dari teman vs. bukan teman x 2 pemberian like dari individu yang populer vs. tidak populer dilakukan di Facebook dengan melibatkan anggota dari Komunitas Stand Up Comedy Indonesia sebagai partisipannya. Mixed factorial ANOVA sebagai uji statistik membuktikan bahwa kehadiran like sebelumnya, status pertemanan pemberi like, dan popularitas pemberi like sebagai main effect tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap meberian like pada sebuah konten di Facebook. Walaupun begitu, ditemukan interaksi dua arah antara ada atau tidak adanya like dengan status pertemanan. Hal ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengguna memiliki kemungkinan lebih besar untuk memberikan like pada konten yang telah diberikan like oleh seseorang yang mereka kenal. Sebagai tambahan, analisis pada penelitian ini juga menunjukan interaksi tiga arah antara ada atau tidak adanya like, status pertemanan, dan popularitas pemberi like, yang mana memiliki arti bahwa pengguna cenderung untuk memberikan like pada konten yang diberikan like oleh orang yang mereka kenal dan dipersepsikan sebagai individu yang populer dalam kelompoknya.

Facebook "Like" button, is a way to show that someone favors a shared content, such as status or updates. A reason that might motivate someone to give Likes on SNS is the presence of previous likes on the content. Drawing from the theory conformity of social psychology, we hypothesized that people tend to conform to the behavior or response of other SNS users. The present study investigates the influence of existing "Like", the peer status of person who gave ldquo like, and the liker's popularity on whether Facebook users would hit the "Like" button upon reading Facebook statuses. A 2 whether an existing like is present vs. not present x 2 whether existing like comes from peer vs. non peer x 2 whether existing like comes from popular individual vs. less popular individual natural field experiment was conducted on Facebook, involving the Indonesian Stand Up Comedy Community members Komunitas Stand Up Indonesia as the participants. Mixed factorial ANOVA revealed no main effect of the presence of existing "Likes", the peer status of the liker, and the popularity of the liker on whether Facebook users would give thumbs up on a status. A two way interaction between the presence of existing like and peer status was found. That is, users were more likely to like a status when they saw that it has received "Like" from another person that they were familiar with. Additionally, the analysis also showed a 3 way interaction among existing "Like", peer status, and popularity, which suggests that users tend to like statuses that have gained "Like" from a person they knew and was perceived as popular in the community. "Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis kosakata Kleinanzeigensprache yang termasuk ke dalam ragam bahasa remaja atau yang dikenal dengan Jugendsprache dalam bahasa Jerman. Bahasa tersebut banyak digunakan oleh kalangan remaja Jerman di internet terutama pada platform media sosial Facebook karena dianggap menarik dan mempunyai struktur kata unik yang membuatnya berbeda dari bahasa Jerman resmi. Melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik purposive sampling dalam pengambilan data, didapatkan hasil berupa klasifikasi kata-kata Kleinanzeigensprache yang mempunyai karakteristik dalam pembentukan katanya berupa perubahan morfologis, fonetis, dan perubahan makna kata yang dihasilkan dari peminjaman kata dari bahasa asing, pergeseran makna kata, perubahan leksikal kata tanpa mengubah makna kata, penulisan kata yang mengikuti pengucapannya secara fonetis, perubahan kelas kata dari nomina menjadi verba, permainan kata, dan penyingkatan kata.

This research discusses about Kleinanzeigensprache vocabulary analysis which belongs to a variety of Teen Languages or known as Jugendsprache in German. This language is widely used by German teenagers on the internet, especially on the Facebook because it has a unique word structure that makes it different from official German language. This can be seen from the example of four statuses and comments taken from the Facebook group Rolfarmy which is the corpus of this research. Through qualitative descriptive methods and purposive sampling techniques, the results obtained are in the form of Kleinanzeigensprache words classification has characteristics in the form of morphological, phonetic changes, and changes in the meaning of words resulting from borrowing words from foreign languages, shifting the meaning of words, changing lexical words without changing the meaning of words, writing words that follow their phonetic pronunciation, changing the class of words from nouns to verbs, word plays, and abbreviating words."
