"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan
transformasional dan transaksional terhadap work engagement Pegawai Negeri
Sipil di Sekretariat Utama Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Penelitian ini
menggunakan Transformational Leadership Behaviour Inventory (TLI) untuk
mengukur kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional, dan untuk
mengukur work engagement digunakan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9
(UWES-9). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan
regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian terhadap 176 pegawai menunjukkan
bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional berpengaruh secara
positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement pegawai. Secara parsial
kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work
engagement pegawai. Sedangkan kepemimpinan transaksional secara parsial tidak
berpengaruh terhadap work engagement pegawai

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of transformational and
transactional leadership on work engagement of civil servant at Executive
Secreatriat of the Head Office of National Civil Services Agency. This research
utilize the Transformational Leadership Behaviour Inventory (TLI) to measure
transformational and transactional leadership, and to measure work engagement
this research utilize Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9 (Uwes-9). Data was
analyed with descriptive analysis methode and multiple linear regression. Result
of the research (n=176) found that transformational and transactional leadership
significantly and positively impact on work engagement. Partially
transformational leadership significantly and positively impact on work
engagement while transactional leadership partially has no impact on work
engagement"

"[Masih rendahnya kinerja PNS adalah suatu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia, penilaian negatif dari masyarakat, rendahnya efektifitas birokrasi menjadi sorotan dari kinerja PNS. Berbagai penelitian terdahulu baik secara akademis maupun praktis menunjukkan bahwa work engagement dapat menjadi faktor dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job resources (organizational support, coworker support, job control) terhadap work engagement (vigour, dedication, absorption) serta konsekuensinya terhadap job performance (task performance, contextual performance) di Kantor Pusat Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Jenis penelitian adalah eksplanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa kuesioner terhadap 165 responden. Teknik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) digunakan dalam pengolahan data dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian mengkonfirmasi secara empiris bahwa (1) job resources berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement. (2) work engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job performance. Kuat lemahnya work engagement dipengaruhi oleh job resources sebesar 26%. Sedangkan kuat
lemahnya job performance dipengaruhi work engagement sebesar 60%.

The low performance of civil servants is a problem faced by Indonesia, a negative assessment of the community, the low effectiveness of the bureaucracy in the spotlight of the performance of civil servants. Various previous studies both academically and practically showed that work engagement may be a factor in improving employee performance. This study aimed to analyze the effect of job
resources (organizational support, coworker support, job control) to work engagement (vigor, dedication, absorption) as well as the consequences for job performance (task performance, contextual performance) at the Head Office of
National Civil Service Agency. This type of research is explanatory with quantitative approach. Instrument data collectors in the form of a questionnaire to 165 respondents. Techniques Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used in data processing and hypothesis testing. The results of empirical studies confirm that (1) job resources is a significant positive effect on work engagement. (2) work engagement is a significant positive effect on job performance. "Tesis ini membahas mengenai pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap employee engagement PNS Non Manajerial di lingkungan Badan Kepegawaian Negara Pusat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksplanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden. Teknik Simple Linear Regression digunakan dalam menganalisis data.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya hasil-hasil penelitian mengenai budaya organisasi dan employee engagement khususnya di sektor publik. Untuk penelitian employee engagement selanjutnya disarankan berkaitan dengan variabel lainnya, guna mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi employee engagement di sektor publik atau pemerintahan.

This thesis discusses the influence of organizational culture on employee engagement non managerial civil cervant at the Head Office of National Civil Services Agency. This type of research is explanatory with quantitative approach. Data collection instrument was a questionnaire given to respondents. Simple linear Regression method used in analyzing data. The result of this study indicated that organizational culture positive and significant impact on employee engagement. This research is expected to enrich the results of research on organizational culture and employee engagement, especially in the public sector. For further recommended employee engagement research related to other variables, in order to determine the factors that influence employee engagement in the public sector or government."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari grit dan kepemimpinan transformasional pada work engagement pada karyawan dari 62 perusahaan startup. Data diambil melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online di Jakarta (N = 204). Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah The Grit Scale (Duckworth, Peterson, Matthews, & Kelly, 2007), MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) (Bass & Avolio, 1991), dan The UWES-9 (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale) (Schaufeli, Bakker, & Salanova, 2006) yang telah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Data diolah dengan menggunakan model regresi berganda pada SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grit dan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki varians yang unik pada work engagement setelah mengontrol grit. Diskusi dan saran dipaparkan pada bagian akhir penelitian ini.

This research was conducted to determine the contribution of grit and transformational leadership on work engagement. Data was collected through an online survey to employees from 62 startups in Jakarta (N = 204). Variables were measured using Indonesian-translation of The Grit Scale (Duckworth, Peterson, Matthews, & Kelly, 2007), MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) (Bass & Avolio, 1991), and The UWES-9 (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale) (Schaufeli, Bakker, & Salanova, 2006). Data were analyzed using multiple regression analyses. The results showed that grit and transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Results also showed that transformational leadership had a significant incremental variance on work engagement above and beyond grit. Discussions and suggestions are presented at the end of this study."

Kompetensi yang mencakup pengetahuan, kemampuan dan perilaku bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil harus tinggi agar dapat menghasilkan sebuah kinerja yang baik, namun yang terjadi saat ini adalah rendahnya kompetemsi dan kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil.
Skripsi ini mencari tahu bagaimana hubungan antara kompetensi yang dilihat dari karakteristik kompetensi dan kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pegawai Pada Kantor Regional V BN Jakarta. Hasil yang di dapat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara kompetensi dan kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di mana nilai koefisien korelasinya sangat kuat.

Human resource are the important aspecs in organization, especially government organization. In this parts, competences are the most valuable things for civil servant. The parts of competences include knowledges, skills and attitude. The civil servant must have the high competence to build good performance. But, the problems now are the performance and competence of civil servant in the low level.
This undergraduate thesis is written to search the relations about competence which seem on. Competence characteristic and performance of civil servant. The research of this problems are include quantitatif research which used the survei technics. This technics are use the questioner from which offered to all employees In National Civil Service Agency Regional Office V Jakarta. The produce of this survei technics shows. The big relations about competence and performance of civil servant which the value of the coeficien corelations is in the high level.

"ABSTRAK
Research conducted in the staffing services unit of the Directorate of Procurement and Rank on BKN head office in Jakarta with the aim to analyze the effect of discipline and integrity to employee performance. Type of research is descriptive research, field data collected by asking questions to respondents through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique using proportionate stratified random sampling, and found the number of respondents as many as 70 people. This research analyzes using multiple linear regression, where the independent variables used are discipline and integrity and the dependent variable is the performance. The results showed that: The effect of all independent variables on the performance of employees is 43.5 , with the regression model obtained in this study are: Y = 4,937 0,390X1 0,362X2. The results of the study confirm that discipline and integrity partially or together have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

Penelitian yang dilakukan di lingkungan unit pelayanan kepegawaian Direktorat Pengadaan dan Kepangkatan pada kantor pusat BKN di Jakarta dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin dan integritas terhadap kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian deskriptif, data di lapangan di kumpulkan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan kepada responden baik melalui kuesioner maupun wawancara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling, dan didapatkan jumlah responden sebanyak 70 orang. Analisis penelitian ini mengunakan regresi linier berganda, dimana variabel independen yang digunakan adalah disiplin dan integritas serta variabel dependennya adalah kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh seluruh variabel independen terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 43,5 , dengan model regresi yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah Y 4,937 0,390X1 0,362X2. Hasil penelitian mengkonfirmasi bahwa disiplin dan integritas baik secara parsial maupun bersama sama mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. "Penelidan ini ingin melihat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional yang bersumber pada penelitian dan konsep Bass dan Avolio ( 1994) terhadap employee engagement. Responden adalah 75 karyawan PT Kustodian Sentra! Efek Indonesia (KSEI). Dalam penelitian ini, kepemimpinan berpengaruh pada terciptanya EE di suatu perusabean. Secara signifikan juga didapatl bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional mempunyai pengaruh lebih dibandingkan kepernimpirum transaksional. Kepemimpinan transaksional masih diperlukan da!am beberapa situasi sebagai pelengkap kepemimpinan transformasional sehingga kepemimpinan menjadi utuh dan lebih fleksibel.

This study wanted to see the influence of transformational_ and transactional leadership which used the concept of Bass and Avolio ( 1994) on employee engagement Respondents were 75 employees of PT Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), In this study, leadership gave significant influence on the creation of BE in the company, It was also found that transformational leadership had more impact than transactional leadership. Transactional leadership was still needed in some situations as a complement to transformational leadership to be more flexible."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang Proses Penilaian Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Biro Kepegawaian Badan Kepegawaian Negara yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan postpositivist dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penilaian kinerja yang dijalankan pada Biro Kepegawaian Badan Kepegawaian Negara terdiri dari 4 empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian dan peninjauan kembali. Pemanfaatan hasil penilaian kinerja sudah digunakan sebagai salah satu persyaratan administratif dalam proses kenaikan pangkat, pemberian penghargaan dan seleksi promosi jabatan.
Permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum adanya standar kinerja yang jelas sebagai pedoman dalam mengukur kinerja pegawai. Pejabat penilai belum melakukan pencatatan terhadap hasil pengamatan perilaku kerja pegawai dan tidak seluruh pegawai mengumpulkan laporan hasil kerja sehingga hasil penilaian masih terlihat subyektif karena kurangnya bukti-bukti pendukung. Hasil penilaian kinerja belum dimanfaatkan sebagai dasar pembayaran tunjangan kinerja dan pengembangan kompetensi pegawai.

This thesis discusses the process of Performance Assessment of Civil Servants in the Civil Service Bureau of National Civil Service Agency conducted in 2015. This study used a postpositivist approach and qualitative method. The results showed that the performance appraisal process that runs on the Civil Service Bureau of the State Personnel Board consists of four 4 phases planning, implementing, assessing and reviewing. Utilization of performance appraisal results has been used as one of the administrative requirements in the process of promotion, awards, and selection for job promotion.
Problems were found in this study is there is no clear performance standards as a guide in measuring employee performance. Assessor officials have not done recording the observations of the behavior of employee and not all employees gather reports on the work result, so that it still looks a subjective assessment results due to lack of supporting evidence. The results of performance appraisal has not been used as the basis for the payment of benefits employee performance and competencies development.

"Spiritual Calling merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam proses Manajemen SDM. Sayangnya, tidak banyak kajian tentang dampak spiritual calling terhadap komitmen afektif dan kepuasan kerja pegawai.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh spiritual calling terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen afektif PNS nonmanajerial di Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan angket. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 261 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari spiritual calling terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen afektif PNS Nonmanajerial di Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Kata Kunci: Spiritual Calling, Kepuasan Kerja, dan Komitmen Afektif.

Spiritual Calling is one of important factors in the Human Resources Management.Unfortunately, there is only a few research studying its impact on affective commitment and job satisfaction. The focus of this research is to analyze the impact of spiritual calling on job satisfaction and affective commitment of nonmanagerial civil servants at National Civil Service Agency. This is quantitative research and using quiz. Sampling method used is proportionate stratified random with 261 respondents. The result of this research shows that there is positive and significant impact of spiritual calling on job satisfaction and affective commitment of nonmanagerial civil servants at National Civil Service Agency. "Work engagement penting untuk dimiliki oleh para karyawan, di mana hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai macam faktor, beberapa diantaranya adalah melalui gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan oleh para pemimpin disebuah perusahaan, dengan ini karyawan dapat menjadi lebih termotivasi untuk bekerja. Perusahaan perlu untuk memperhatikan work engagement yang dimiliki oleh karyawan agar tujuan perusahaan ataupun individu tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformational dan transactional leadership style terhadap work engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner untuk datanya diolah lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, di mana kuesioner disebar kepada seluruh karyawan perusahaan Haus Indonesia (PT Inspirasi Bisnis Nusantara) dengan minimal lama bekerja 1 tahun, yang berjumlah 181 orang dan kuesioner yang kembali dan terisi berjumlah 128 responden. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan uji klasik dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership style dan transactional leadership style mampu mempengaruhi work engagement secara positif dan signifikan. Selain itu, seluruh hubungan antar variabel juga memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan satu sama lain.

Work engagement is crucial for employees, as it can be influenced by various factors, including the leadership styles employed by leaders in a company. Through effective leadership, employees can be more motivated to work. It is essential for companies to pay attention to the work engagement of their employees to achieve organizational and individual goals. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational and transactional leadership styles on work engagement. The study adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires for further analysis. Total sampling technique is utilized, distributing questionnaires to all employees of Haus Indonesia company (PT Inspirasi Bisnis Nusantara) with a minimum tenure of 1 year, totaling 181 individuals, and receiving 128 completed responses. Data analysis in this study involves multiple linear regression, processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results indicate that both transformational and transactional leadership styles positively and significantly influence work engagement. Additionally, all relationships between variables show positive and significant impacts on each other."
