"Berbagai seleksi dilakukan untuk dapat memprediksi kesuksesan akademik mahasiswa, namun belum ada seleksi yang yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan regulasi diri, motivasi akademik, dan berpikir abstrak. Executive function terbukti berkaitan dengan regulasi diri, motivasi akademik, dan berpikir abstrak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan dan pengaruh executive function terhadap prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Partisipan berjumlah 144 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Komponen-komponen executive function diukur dengan alat ukur Backward Digit Recall Test, Kelancaran Verbal Fonemik dan Semantik, Tower of Hanoi, dan Stroop Color and Word Test. Hasil perhitungan multiple regression menunjukkan secara bersama-sama komponen-komponen executive function tidak dapat memprediksi prestasi akademik. Namun jika dihitung menggunakan simple regression, ditemukan bahwa tiga dari empat komponen executive function yang diteliti, yaitu working memory, generativity dan inhibition secara signifikan dapat memprediksi prestasi akademik. Cognitive flexibility ditemukan tidak dapat memprediksi prestasi akademik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memanipulasi dan menyimpan informasi, memunculkan ide, serta menahan respon yang tidak sesuai konteks berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik.

Various selection is done to be able to predict the academic success of students, but there is no selection with regard to the ability of self-regulation, academic motivation, and abstract thinking. Executive function has been found associated with self-regulation, academic motivation, and abstract thinking. This study was conducted to see the relationship between executive function and academic achievement in students. Participants are 144 students of Universitas Indonesia. The components of executive function was measured by Backward Digit Recall Test, Phonemic and Semantic Verbal Fluency Test, Tower of Hanoi, and the Stroop Color and Word Test. Results of multiple regression calculation shows that together the components of executive function can not predict academic achievement. However, if calculated using simple regression, it was found that three of the four components of executive function, which are working memory, inhibition and generativity significantly predicted academic achievement. Cognitive flexibility was found not able to predict academic achievement. Results of this study indicate that students' ability to manipulate and store information, generate new ideas, and holding the inappropriate response affect academic achievement."

"Latar Belakang: Diagnosis dan tatalaksana osteoartritis lutut sementara ini lebih berfokus pada sendi tibiofemoral dan kesegarisan di bidang tersebut, yang hanya memberikan asosiasi lemah dengan nyeri dan disabilitas. Sementara itu, masih sangat minim studi yang mempelajari kesegarisan patela pada osteoartritis lutut, terutama hubungannya dengan derajat keparahan penyakit secara radiografis, defek kartilago, dan juga nyeri dan disabilitas.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang yang diikuti oleh pasien RSUPN Cipto Mangunkusumo yang terdiagnosis osteoartritis lutut. Subjek menjalani pemeriksaan radiografis dan magnetic resonance, dari situ dievaluasi kesegarisan patela, grade Kellgren-Lawrence (KL), dan defek kartilago yang dinilai dengan grade International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society(ICRS). Kesegarisan patela dinilai dari sulcus angle(SA), congruence angle(CA), trochlear angle(TA), lateral trochlear inclination(LTI), trochlear depth(TD), bisect offset(BO), patellar displacement(PD), lateral patellar tilt angle(LPTA), dan lateral patellofemoral angle(LPFA).Pasien juga diukur skor WOMAC yang menilai nyeri dan disabilitas.
Hasil: Ditemukan korelasi antaraTA (r = -0,397; p < 0,001), LTI (r = -0,333; p = 0,004), BO (r = 0,268; p = 0,020), dan PD (r = 0,299; p = 0,009) dengan grade KL patelofemoral. TA juga berkorelasi juga dengan grade KL tibiofemoral (r = -0,246; p = 0,033). TA (r = -0,246; p = 0,033) juga berkorelasi dengan grade KL tibiofemoral. Tidak ditemukan parameter kesegarisan patela yang berkorelasi dengan grade ICRS. Sementara itu SA (r = 0,238; p = 0,039), LTI (r = -0,235; p = 0,042), TD (r = -0,374; p = 0,001), BO (r = 0,257; p = 0,026) dan LPTA (r = 0,267; p = 0,021) berkorelasi dengan nyeri. LTI (r = -0,229; p = 0,048), TD (r = -0,251; p = 0,030) dan LPTA (r = 0,314; p = 0,006) berkorelasi terhadap disabilitas.
Kesimpulan: Kesegarisan patela axial berkorelasi dengan keparahan radiografis osteoartritis lutut, tidak hanya pada kompartemen patelofemoral tetapi juga tibiofemoral. Kesegarisan patela juga berkorelasi dengan nyeri dan disabilitas.

Background: Diagnosis and treatment of knee osteoarthritis has been focused on the tibiofemoral joint and its alignment, even though they provide little contribution to pain and disability. The aim of this study is to evaluate the axial patellar alignment in patients with knee osteoarthritis, especially its association with the radiographic findings, cartilage defect on magnetic resonance, as well as pain and disability.
Methods: Patients with knee osteoarthritis underwent radiographic and magnetic resonance examinations. Patellar alignment was represented by sulcus angle (SA), congruence angle (CA), trochlear angle (TA), lateral trochlear inclination (LTI), trochlear depth (TD), bisect offset (BO), patellar displacement (PD), lateral patellar tilt angle (LPTA), dan lateral patellofemoral angle (LPFA). We evaluated the association between patellar alignment and Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grade of the radiographs, International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society (ICRS) grade of the cartilage defect on magnetic resonance images, and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) score.
Results: Radiographically, TA  (r = -0,397; p < 0,001), LTI (r = -0,333; p = 0,004), BO (r = 0,268; p = 0,020), and PD (r = 0,299; p = 0,009) were correlated with patellofemoral KL grade. TA was also correlated with tibiofemoral KL grade (r = -0,246; p = 0,033). However, no patellar alignment index was found to be correlated with ICRS grade. Furthermore SA (r = 0,238; p = 0,039), LTI (r = -0,235; p = 0,042), TD (r = -0,374; p = 0,001), BO (r = 0,257; p = 0,026) and LPTA (r = 0,267; p = 0,021) were correlated with pain score in WOMAC. Meanwhile, LTI (r = -0,229; p = 0,048), TD (r = -0,251; p = 0,030) and LPTA (r = 0,314; p = 0,006) were correlated with disability score in WOMAC.
Conclusion: Axial patellar alignment was correlated with radiographic severity of knee osteoarthritis, not only in patellofemoral compartment but also in tibiofemoral compartment. Patellar alignment was also associated with pain and disability.

"Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara kepaduan tim dan collective efficacy pada atlet futsal mahasiswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dimensi kepaduan tim memberikan sumbangan pada collective efficacy. Pengukuran kepaduan tim menggunakan alat ukur Group Enviromental Questionnaire (Carron dkk., 1985) yang telah diadaptasi dan pengukuran collective efficacy dengan menggunakan alat ukur Collective Efficacy Questionaire for Sports (Short, Feltz, & Sullivan, 2005). Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 71 mahasiswa atlet futsal.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kepaduan tim dengan collective efficacy (r=0.590; p=0.000, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.01). Artinya semakin tinggi skor kepaduan tim seseorang, maka semakin tinggi skor collective efficacy orang tersebut. Sementara itu, dimensi kepaduan tim yang paling besar sumbangannya pada collective efficacy adalah Group Integration-Task (B=0.430; p=0.000, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.05) dan kemudian dimensi Individual Attraction to the Social-Task (B=0.340; p=0.014, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.05).

The purpose of this study is to find the correlation between team cohesion and collective efficacy in futsal collegiate athletes in university. In addition, this study also aimed to determine how much each dimension of team cohesion contributes to collective efficacy. Team cohesion was measured using a modification instrument named Environmental Group Questionnaire (Carron et al., 1985) and collective efficacy was measured using Collective Efficacy Questionnaire for Sports (Short, Feltz, & Sullivan, 2005) which also has been adapted. Participants in this research are 71 collegiate athletes in university.
The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between team cohesiveness and collective efficacy (r = 0590, p = 0.000, significant at the L.o.S 0.01). This means the higher score team cohesiveness, the higher score the person collective efficacy. Furthermore, the biggest contributions dimensions of team cohesion toward collective efficacy are Group Integration-Task (B=0.430; p=0.000, significant at the L.o.S 0.05) dimension and then Individual Attraction to the Social-Task (B=0.340; p=0.014, significant at the L.o.S 0.05) dimension.

"Penelitian sebelumnya telah memperoleh hasil bahwa parental control merupakan salah satu pengasuhan orang tua yang berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan cool executive function EF , yaitu kemampuan kognitif tingkat tinggi yang dapat mendukung kesiapan sekolah anak prasekolah. Namun, kebanyakan penelitian sebelumnya hanya mengukur kontrol orang tua dalam bentuk verbal pada ibu, padahal kontrol orang tua juga dapat muncul dalam bentuk perilaku dan ayah juga memiliki peran dalam pengasuhan.
Penelitian korelasional ini dilakukan untuk melihat kontribusi setiap aspek dalam kontrol verbal command, indirect command, dan prohibitions dan kontrol perilaku physical support, modeling, dan physical discipline dari ayah dan ibu terhadap komponen dalam cool EF inhibitory control, working memory, dan cognitive flexibility . Sejumlah 61 partisipan anak diberikan tiga tes yang mengukur komponen cool EF dan strategi kontrol orang tua diukur dengan sesi bermain orang tua dengan anak.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah aspek strategi kontrol dari ayah maupun ibu berkorelasi signifikan dengan komponen dalam cool EF anak, bahkan setelah pengaruh jenis kelamin anak, usia anak, dan SSE dikontrol. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua dapat menggunakan strategi kontrol yang tepat untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan cool EF anak usia prasekolah.

Previous studies had found that parental control is an aspect of parenting that contribute to cool executive function EF development, a set of higher order cognitive skills that can promote preschool children's school readiness. But, most of the previous studies measured only mother regulatory language or mother's verbal control strategies, even though parental control can also be emerged as regulatory behavior, and father also has role in parenting.
The current study investigated the contribution of every aspects in parent regulatory language command, indirect command, and prohibitions and parent regulatory behavior physical support, modeling, and physical discipline from both father and mother in relation to components of preschool children's cool EF inhibitory control, working memory, and cognitive flexibility . 61 participants were given three performance tests that assessed cool EF and parental control strategies were assessed through parent child play session.
The result revealed that some aspects of both father control strategies and mother control strategies had significant correlations with components of child's cool EF, even after the influences of child's gender, child's age and SES were controlled. This study pointed out that parent can use appropriate control strategies to optimize child's cool EF development.

"[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara Servant Leadership dan Team Effectiveness pada Kepala Seksi dan Kepala Ruangan di Rumah Sakit X Penelitian tersebut didasari pertimbangan bahwa masih ada kesenjangan Kompetensi Kepemimpinan Kelompok pada Kepala Seksi dan Kepala Ruangan di Rumah Sakit X serta belum tercapainya target kinerja pada semua unit kerja . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Servant Leadership dan Team Effectiveness ( r = 0,64 dan p lebih kecil dari 0,05). Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak tujuh puluh orang, mereka merupakan bawahan dari Kepala Seksi dan Kepala Ruangan. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Servant Leadership Questionnare (SLQ) yang diadaptasi dari Barbuto & Wheeler (2006) dan Team Effectiveness Questionnare (TEQ) dari Larson & LaFasto (1989). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti mengusulkan program intervensi untuk meningkatkan Servant Leadership melalui Pelatihan Coaching dan Servant Leadership kepada manajer sebagai atasan dari Kepala Seksi dan Kepala Ruangan di Rumah Sakit X. Hasil pelatihan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Coaching dan perilaku Servant Leadership atau kepemimpinan yang melayani bagi para manajer. Selanjutnya para manajer diharapkan mampu melakukan Coaching kepada Kepala Seksi dan Kepala Ruangan, terutama dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan yang melayani sehingga efektivitas tim akan meningkat.;The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between Servant Leadership and Team Effectiveness on Section Heads and Heads of Nurses in Hospital X. "Keterlekatan dengan pekerjaan merupakan salah satu kriteria karyawan yang dibutuhkan oleh organisasi. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterlekatan dengan pekerjaan adalah kohesivitas tim. Penelitian menggunakan alat ukur UWES-9 (Schaufeli, Salanova, & Bakker, 2006) untuk mengukur keterlekatan dengan pekerjaan dan TC (Carles & Paola, 2000) untuk mengukur kohesivitas tim. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan dua studi pada PT X. Studi 1 bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kohesivitas tim dengan keterlekatan dengan pekerjaan.
Dari 72 responden yang mengikuti penelitian pada studi 1, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kohesivitas tim dan kelekatan dengan pekerjaan (r = 0.38, p < 0.05). Selanjutnya, hasil studi 1 menjadi dasar penelitian bagi studi 2 yang hendak meningkatkan kohesivitas tim pada karyawan PT X melalui pemberian intervensi membangun tim. Dari 6 responden yang mengikuti penelitian pada studi 2, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan wawasan yang signifikan terkait dengan kohesivitas tim sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi (z = -2.23, p < 0.05). Namun demikian, perubahan perilaku peserta sehingga menjadi lebih kohesif ternyata tidak secara signifikan terjadi (z = -1.05, p > 0.05). Penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat menyempurnakan program intervensi yang diusulkan agar hasil studi dapat tepat mencapai sasaran.

Work engagement is one of the characteristic of employees needed by the organization. One of considering factor to increase work engagement is team cohesiveness. We used a UWES-9 (Schaufeli, Salanova, & Bakker, 2006) to measure work engagement and TC (Carles & Paola, 2000) to measure team cohesiveness. To find out their relationship, we conducted two studies at PT X. Study 1 examine the relationship between team cohesiveness and work engagement.
There are 72 participants took part in study 1. The results is there is significantly related between team cohesiveness and work engagement (r = 0.38, p <0.05). Furthermore, the results of Study 1 are the basis for Study 2. We provide team building intervention to increase team cohesiveness. There are 6 participants who took part in study 2. The results is significantly related to increase the knowledges of team cohesiveness before and after the intervention (z = -2.23, p < 0.05) but the changes of behavior of team cohesiveness is not (z = -1.05, p > 0.05). The future study are regarded to improve the intervention program to reach out the expected results.

"Seiring berkembangnya tim kerja (Sundstrom et al., 2000 dalam Afolabi, Olukayode A ,& Ehigie, Benjamin Osayawe, 2005), beberapa penelitian telah melaporkan bahwa tim tidak selalu mengeluarkan hasil yang diinginkan (e.g. Weiss et al., 1992; Rice and Schneider, 1994 dalam Afolabi, Olukayode A ,& Ehigie, Benjamin Osayawe, 2005). Tim kerja menurut Robbins (1988:71) adalah kelompok yang terdiri dari dua atau lebih orang yang saling mempengaruhi dan saling tergantung yang bekerja sama untuk mencapai sasaran tertentu. Salah satu dari beberapa variabel yang meliputi proses intragrup, dimana berkontribusi pada keefektivitasan anggota tim (Spencer and Spencer, 1993) dan menjadi hal yang penting bagi manajemen dan keefektivitasan organisasional (Torrington and Weightman, 1994 dalam dalam Afolabi et,al, 2005) adalah kohesivitas tim. Kohesivitas adalah keinginan setiap anggota untuk mempertahankan keanggotaan mereka dalam kelompok, yang didukung oleh sejumlah kekuatan independen, tetapi banyak penelitian lebih berfokus pada ketertarikan antar anggota. (Festinger, Schater, & Back, 1950).Salah satu variabel yang mempengaruhi kohesivitas menurut Lott (1965) adalah kepribadian. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan keempat dimensi kepribadian DISC dari Marston (2005) (dalam Sadewo,2006), yaitu Dominace, Influence, Steadiness, dan Conscientiousness.
Dasar pemikiran penulis untuk memilih variabel kohesivitas dan dimensi kepribadian DISC untuk diteliti adalah bahwa penulis mempunyai asumsi bahwa kepribadian (dalam penelitian ini memakai dimensi kepribadian DISC) mempengaruhi besarnya kohesivitas tim. Oleh karena itu, individu yang memiliki dimensi kepribadian DISC tertentu diasumsikan menghasilkan tim yang kohesif karena dapat menghasilkan interaksi yang menyenangkan dari tingkah laku masing- masing anggotanya. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara dimensi kepribadian DISC dan kohesivitas tim kerja. Peneliti memiliki dugaan bahwa keempat dimensi kepribadian DISC memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan kohesivitas tim kerja.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ex post facto dengan sampel sebanyak 15 tim kerja atau sebanyak 103 orang yang diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian adalah alat ukur kohesivitas dan alat tes kepribadian DISC. Setelah data terkumpul, peneliti menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keempat dimensi kepribadian DISC dan kohesivitas tim kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya dimensi Influence yang memiliki hubungan positif dengan kohesivitas tim kerja. Kedua variabel tersebut memiliki korelasi sebesar 0,227 dan signifikan pada l.o.s 0,05.

As the development of work team (Sundstrom et al., 2000 dalam Afolabi, Olukayode A ,& Ehigie, Benjamin Osayawe, 2005 Some researches have reported that team doesn't always create the desired result (e.g Weiss et al., 1992; Rice and Schneider, 1994 in Afolabi, Olukayode A, & Ehigie, Benjamin Osayawe, 2005. According to Robbins (1988:71) work team defined as a group consists of two or more people that worked together to gain some desired results. Team Cohesiveness is one of the variables that influenced on team's effectiveness (Spencer & Spencer, 1993) and it has become the important thing on the organizational effectiveness (Torrington & Weightman, 1994 in Afolabi et al., 2005). The researcher was interested on investigating about the team cohesiveness because, according to Galdstein's hypothesis (1984), cohesiveness is the most important indicator on team's effectiveness under input-process-output model.
Cohesiveness is the eagerness to maintain the membership of the group that the individual belongs to, which is supported by some independent power. However, most of the research has been focused on the attractiveness of the members, not about the group cohesiveness (Festinger, Schater, & Back, 1950). One of the variables which influenced the team cohesiveness is personality (Lott, 1965). Within this research, the researcher is using four personality dimension (DISC) from Marston (2005) ( in Sadewo,2006): Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness.
This research is based on cohesiveness variable and Personality dimension (DISC) in which assumed that personality influenced the cohesiveness' level of the team. Therefore, person who has certain DISC personality dimensions can create team cohesiveness because she/he can create a pleasant interaction among the member. So, this research correlates DISC personality dimensions and team cohesiveness and assumed that all dimensions of DISC personality and team cohesiveness have a positive correlation.
The design of this research is ex post facto correlation with 15 work teams or 103 partisipans whom selected by accidental sampling. Researcher used Pearson Product Moment to analize the data. This result indicates that only Influence dimension has significant positive correlation with team cohesiveness (r = 0,227 with Los 0,05)."
