"Pembentukan orientasi seksual pada diri individu dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang terjadi secara nature maupun nurture. Salah satu faktor nature adalah fratrenal birth order. Penelitian ini ingin melihat gambaran dari orientasi seksual pada lakilaki tahapan usia dewasa muda berdasarkan fraternal birth order. Secara operasionalnya peneliti ingin melihat adakah perbedaan orientasi seksual berdasarkan dengan jumlah kepemilikan kakak laki-laki pada individu serta gambaran hubungan yang terjadi antara orientasi seksual dan fraternal birth order. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 100 orang laki-laki yang berada pada tahapan usia dewasa muda. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah Klein Sexual Orientation Grid (KSOG) untuk mengukur kontinum orientasi seksual yang dikembangkan oleh Klein (1985) dan kuesioner fratrenal birth order yang digunakan oleh Blanchard & Bogaert (1996). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan orientasi seksual berdasarkan fraternal birth order serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dari orientasi seksual dan fraternal birth order.

The formation of sexual orientation of an individual is influenced by nature and nurture factors. One of the nature factors is fraternal birth order. This research willing to see sexual orientation in men young adulthood by virtue of fraternal birth order. In the operationally, researcher is willing to see the differences of sexual orientation by virtue of the number of older brother in the family of an individual and the decription of correlation between sexual orientation and fratrenal birth order. This research involves 100 man participants at young adulthood. The measurement tools used to collect data in this research is Klein Sexual Orientation Grid (KSOG) in order to measure sexual orientation continuum developed by Klein (1985) and fraternal birth order questionnaire used by Blanchard & Bogaert (1996). The results show that there are differences of sexual orientation by virtue of fraternal birth order and significant correlation from sexual orientation and fraternal birth order."

"Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan Wanita dan pria dewasa lnuda yang dimediasi oleh frekuensi hubungan seksual dan kepuasan seksual. Penulis memprediksi citra tubuh akan meningkatkan frekuensi seksual yang kemudian meningkatkan kepuasan seksual lalu kepuasan perkawinan. Namun karena perbedaan peran gender, penelitian ini memprediksi citra tubuh akan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan Wanita melalui peningkatan frekuensi hubungan seksual lalu kepuasan seksualnya, sedangkan pada pria, citra tubuh diprediksi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan tidak melalui meningkatnya frekuensi hubungan seksual hanya melalui kepuasan seksualnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kroseksional. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah 98 partisipan Wanita dan 50 partisipan pria yang bukan merupakan pasangan. Hasil yang didapat diketahui bahwa variabel citra tubuh, sexual attractiveness, weight concern, Serta physical condition,berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan Wanita sebesar 23,3% (R2= O,233), sedangkan pada pria, diketahui bahwa variabel citra tubuh, upper body strenght, physical attractiveness, dan physical condition berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinannya sebesar 14,4% (R2= O,144). Berbeda dengan prediksi, pada Wanita, citra tubuh berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan, tidak melalui frekuensi hubungan seksual namun hanya melalui kepuasan seksual. Sedangkan pada pria, citra tubuh tubuh tidak berpengaruh pada kepuasan perkawinan, baik melalui peningkatan frekuensi hubungan seksual maupun kepuasan seksualnya. Kesirnpulan penelitian ini ialah pada Wanita, citra tubuh berpengaruh pada kepuasan perkawinannya melalui kepuasan seksual sedangkan pada pria citra tubuh tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan perkawinan.

This study is about the role of body image on marital satisfaction in young adult Women and men mediated by sexual frequency and sexual satisfaction. We predict that body image will increase sexual frequency thus sexual satisfaction and marital satisfaction. But, because of gender role differences between men and Women, We predict body image Will affect marital satisfaction through increasing sexual frequency and sexual satisfaction in Women but in men, We predict body image will affect marital satisfaction through sexual satisfaction not sexual frequency. This research is quantitative with cross sectional method. Participants in this research are 98 Women and 50 men, and they were not couple.

The results show, body image variable, sexual attractiveness, Weight concern, and physical condition affected to marital satisfaction in Women about 23,3% (R2= 0,233), in men, body image variable, upper body strenght, physical attractiveness, and physical condition affected to marital satisfaction about l4,4% (R2= O,l44). ln Women, body image components affect marital satisfaction through sexual satisfaction only not sexual frequency. In men, body image components do not affect marital satisfaction through sexual frequency or sexual satisfaction. The summary of this study are in Women, body image affect marital satisfaction through sexual satisfaction, but in men body image do not affect marital satisfaction."
