"ABSTRAK
Perusahaan rintisan adalah organisasi pada fasa awal dan berada pada tahap pengembangan. Karakteristik dan stategi berbeda dengan perusahaan yang terlah lama berdiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan wawancara kualitatif, AHP (Analytical Hirerarchy Process) pemanfaatan sosial media untuk meningkatkan pangsa pasar perusahaan rintisan. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan rintisan pada bidang kedai kopi Indonesia. Hal menarik pada setiap kedai kopi ada pada proses pemilihan biji kopi, pemanggangan, dan penyeduhan sehingga membuat karakteristiknya berbeda. Pemilik Usaha rintisan kedai kopi memiliki karakter (visi, misi, pengetahuan, pengalaman, dll) merupakan faktor keberhasilan terpenting yang harus dimiliki oleh pemilik usaha yang didapatkan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan AHP. Hal ini dikarenakan pemilik merupakan orang yang akan mengarahkan karyawan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Strategi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah tipe strategi intensif dan diversifikasi. Strategi penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk merupakan strategi yang paling diunggulkan oleh pemilik Kedai kopi.

ABSTRACT
Startup companies are organizations in the initial phase and are at the development stage. Characteristics and strategies differ from companies that have long been established. The research method used qualitative interviews, AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) to use social media to increase the market share of startups. The object of this research is a pilot company in the field of Indonesian coffee shops. Interesting things at each coffee shop are in the process of selecting coffee beans, roasting and brewing so that they make different characteristics. The owner of the coffee shop has character (vision, mission, knowledge, experience, etc.) is the most important success factor that must be owned by the business owner obtained based on the results of AHP calculations. This is because the owner is a person who will direct employees in running their business. The most widely used strategy is the type of intensive and diversified strategy. The strategy of market penetration and product development is the most favored strategy by the owner of the Coffee Shop."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini menguji secara empiris tentang budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan serta hubungan perusahaan sebagai pembeli dengan para pemasok. Studi ini ingin menganalisis apakah hubungan pembeli dan pemasok dipengaruhi oleh budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan pembeli. Untuk mengetahui peranan dan hubungan budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan, maka penelitian ini menganalisis tentang pengaruh budaya korporat terhadap reputasi perusahaan dan tentang pengaruh budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan terhadap hubungan perusahaan sebagai pembeli dengan para pemasoknya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang berasal dari para responden. Responden daiam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan pemasok yang terdaftar sebagai rekanan pada perusahaan BP Indonesia di Jakarta dalam aktivitas pengadaan barang dan jasa. Data penelitian yang diperoleh berkaitan dengan evaluasi, pemahaman dan pengalaman perusahaan pemasok sebagai rekanan pada perusahaan pembeli. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunalcan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda.
Hasil analisis mcnunjukan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari budaya korporat terhadap reputasi perusahaan, dan pengaruh positip budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan terhadap hubungan pembeli dan pemasok.
Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan secara tidak langsung pentingnya bagi perusahaan untuk membentuk budaya korporat yang baik dan unggul agar tercipta reputasi perusahaan yang baik. Budaya korporat dan reputasi perusahaan yang baik akan meningkatkan hubungan kerjasama dengan perusahaan mitra kerja.

ABSTRAK
This research empirically examined the corporate culture, company reputation and relationship between buying company and its suppliers (supplying companies). This study seeks to analyze whether the business relationship between a buying company and its suppliers is affected by the buying companys corporate culture and reputation. To understand more about the role and relationship of the corporate culture and the company reputation, this research has analyzed the effect of corporate culture to the company reputation, and the eject of both corporate culture and company reputation to the relationship between a buying company and its suppliers.
The research used primary data obtained from the respondents. The respondents are the companies that registered as BP Indonesia ?s supplier in Jakarta office in procurement goods and service activities. The data obtained are related to the suppliers' evaluation, understanding and experiences toward the buying company. The data is analyzed by using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.
The result of analysis proved significantly the effect of corporate culture to company reputation and also the effect of both corporate culture and company reputation to the relationship between buying company and its supplier.
The research outcome implies the importance for a company to establish a great corporate culture in order to create a great reputation. A great corporate culture and reputation will improve the company relationship with its business partners.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh mekanisme corporate governance dan karakteristik perusahaan terhadap probabilita diakuisisi. Mekanisme corporate governance yang diuji yaitu keberadaan komisaris independen dan ukuran (size) dewan komisaris dari sisi internal governance, serta auditor eksternal dan monitoring bank dari sisi external governance. Sementara karakteristik perusahaan yang diuji adalah profitabilitas dan ukuran (size) perusahaan. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan model regresi logistik dengan sampel 90 observasi dari perusahaan diakuisisi dan tidak diakuisisi selama periode 2004 ? 2011 dan tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa monitoring bank yang diukur dari besarnya pinjaman bank yang diperoleh dari bank berkualitas monitoring baik, jumlah (size) dewan komisaris dan profitabilitas perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap menurunnya probabilita diakuisisi. Sedangkan komisaris independen,auditor eksternal dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap probabilita diakuisisi.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to examine the effect of corporate governance mechanism and firm characteristics on the probability of being acquired. Corporate governance mechanism that were examined are the role of independent commissioner and board size as internal governance mechanism, as well as external auditor and bank monitoring as external governance mechanism. Firm characteristic that were examined are profitability and firm? size. Hypotheses testing are conducted using logistic regression model with observations from 90 sample of acquired and non acquired publicly listed companies in Indonesia during the period 2004 - 2011.
The result of this study concluded that bank monitoring measured by the amount of bank loan from the bank with good monitoring quality, board size and firm profitability has significant effect on decreasing the probability being acquired. While independent commissioner, external auditor and firm? size has no significant impact on probability being acquired.

Jurnal ini menganalisis karakteristik sistem manajemen perusahaan Korea dan perusahaan Indonesia. Tujuan jurnal ini adalah untuk menjelaskan aspek-aspek perbedaan karakteristik sistem manajemen di perusahaan Korea dan Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian observasi, jurnal ini menunjukkan terdapat beberapa perbedaan aspek dalam sistem manajemen perusahaan Korea dan Indonesia, yaitu: aliran yang dianut, cara pandang perusahaan, dan cara mengambil keputusan. Dari perbedaan-perbedaan tersebut, jurnal ini menjelaskan bagaimana strategi untuk beradaptasi dalam situasi yang berkaitan erat dengan sistem manajemen perusahaan Korea.
ABSTRACT
Every country has its own culture which is different from anothers. That is why every company of one country also has own characters of management systems which also would be different from anothers. This journal analyzes the characteristic of management system in Korean and Indonesian company in other to explain the differences between Korean and Indonesian character of management system. By using observation method, this journal concludes that there are some different aspect between Korean and Indonesian character of management system. They are beliefs, perspectives, and decision making. This journal offers some strategies to face the different situation caused by different character of management system in Korean company."

"Penelitian ini mengenai komunikasi korporat dengan program transformasi PT Pertamina (Persero) sebagai objek penelitian. Tujuan penelitian untuk menggambarkan tentang proses perumusan dan implementasi Strategic Vision kaitannya dengan Corporate Brand PT Pertamina (Persero) pada Pogram Transformasi 2006-2016; menggambarkan tentang keterkaitan antara Corporate Culture dengan Corporate Brand PT Pertamina (Persero) pada Pogram Transformasi 2006-2016; menganalisis tentang keterkaitan secara kualitatif antara Corporate Image dengan Crporate Brand PT Pertamina (Persero) pada Pogram Transformasi 2006-2016.
Paradigma penelitian interpretatif, metode penelitian kualitatif. Data bersifat primer melalui wawancara mendalam, dan observasi; serta data sekunder dengan studi kepustakaan. Teknis analisis data menggunakan teori ?segitiga? corporate branding dari Hatch & Schultz (2001).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masih terjadi gap antara Vision & Culture, tampak dari tema fundamental maupun bisnis PT Pertamina (Persero) yang belum terpenuhi, masih terdapat gap antara Vision & Image, apa yang diinginkan dalam visi PT Pertamina (Persero) dipersepsikan berbeda oleh stakeholders dari luar perusahaan, baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Sedangkan antara Image & Culture, gap-nya tidak terlalu lebar, bahkan semakin menyempit jaraknya, karena tata-nilai PT Pertamina (Persero) cenderung kuat, integrated, disosialisasikan kepada pekerja secara sistematis, berkesinambungan dan menyeluruh mulai dari Pusat hingga ke unit-unit daerah.

This study was about corporate communication with transformation program of PT Pertamina (Persero) as the study object. This study aimed to describe about the formulation process and implementation of Strategic Vision related to the corporate brand of PT Pertamina (Persero) at Transformation Program 2006-2015; describe about the relation between Corporate Culture and Corporate Brand of PT Pertamina (Persero) at Transformation Program 2006-2015; analyze about the qualitative relation between Corporate Image and Corporate Brand of PT Pertamina (Persero) at Transformation Program 2006-2016.
The paradigm of this study was interpretative, and this study used qualitative research method. The primary data was obtained through deep interview, and observation; and the secondary data was obtained through literature study. Data analysis technique used the triangle corporate branding theory from Hatch & Schultz (2001).
The results showed that there was still a gap between Vision & Culture,it was shown from the fundamental and business theme of PT Pertamina (Persero) which hadn?t been fulfilled. There was still a gap between Vision & Image, what was wanted in the vision of PT Pertamina (Persero) was differently perceived by stakeholders outside the company, in national and international level. There was a not-too-wide gap between Image & Culture, the distance became narrower, because the value system at PT Pertamina (Persero) tended to be strong, integrated, and socialized systematically to all employees, continuous, and thorough starting from the central to the regions.

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan atara strategy perusahaan Manajemen Risiko Enterprise ERM dan tingkat keuntungan perusahaan Studi ini berfokus pada perusahan perusahaan public yang terdafftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia terutama yang masuk ke dalam daftar indeks LQ45 tahun 2013 Studi ini mengevaluasi klasifikasi strategy perusahan menggunakan The Five Generic Competitive Strategies Porter 1985 dan jenis jenis respon atas risiko Risk response sesuai dengan COSO ERM Framework 2004 serta tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan yang mencakup Profit Margin Return on Equity ROE dan Return on Asset ROA Data dan informasi diambil dari laporan tahunan perusahaan sample tahun 2013 dan analisi data bersifat kuantitatif dan kualitatif termasuk wawancara secara mendalam dengan para ahli dan para professional di bidang strategy dan manajemen risiko Studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara strategi perusahaan ERM dan tingkat profitabilitas Namun demikian lebih spesifik terkait hubungan antara kombinasi strategi perusahaan ndash jenis risk response menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan signifikan dengan angka profitabiilitas jika pengujian dilakukan secara kuantitatif Namun secara kualitatif berdasarkan interview mendalam yang dilakukan menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan Oleh karena itu kesimpulan atas hubungan antara kombinasi tersebut dengan tingkat profitabilitas tidak konklusif Kata kunci Strategi Perusahaan Strategi Korporasi Manajemen Risiko Enterprise Risk Management ERM Tingkat keuntungan Porter rsquo s Generic Competitive Strategy pilihan strategi Srategic option respon terhadap risiko risk response.

"Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh karakteristik perusahaan dan karakteristik negara terhadap tingkat utang perusahaan dengan proksi leverage. Observasi dilakukan terhadap 63 perusahaan di Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, dan Filipina selama kurun waktu 2002-2011. Data yang digunakan merupakan data panel yang bersumber dari data perusahaan dan data negara terkait. Dengan menggunakan model estimasi Generalized Least Square, didapatkan hasil bahwa karakteristik perusahaan dan karakteristik negara memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap leverage. Ditemukan pula bahwa adanya perbedaan pengaruh karakteristik perusahaan terhadap leverage antar negara. Selain itu, karakteristik perusahaan dan karakteristik negara secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap leverage.

This research examines the impact of firm- and country-specific factors on leverage. 63 firms in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Philippines are observed within period of 2002-2011. By using panel data of firm and country data and by using Generalized Least Square estimation model, research finds that firm- and country-specific factors significantly affect leverage. It also discovers that there are some differences in the effect of firm-specific factors on leverage among the countries. Firm- and country-specific factors altogether also significantly affect leverage."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari karakteristik dewan direksi terhadap performa bank. Model ini merupakan replikasi dari model penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Liang et al. (2013), dimana karakteristik dewan direksi memiliki tiga buah variabel independen, yakni jumlah dewan direksi, tingkat fungsionalitas dewan direksi dan komposisi dewan direksi. Sedangkan performa bank memiliki dua buah variabel dependen, yakni profitabilitas dan kualitas aset bank. Total observasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 136 firm-years untuk bank yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia, selama periode 2009-2013.
Penelitian ini diuji dengan regresi data panel dengan model regresi random effect dan juga fixed effect, bergantung kepada hasil pengujian pemilihan model terbaik untuk masing-masing variasi model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik dewan direksi memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat profitabilitas dan kualitas aset bank.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to analyze the effects of board characteristics to banks' performance. This model is a replication, based on Liang et al. (2013) model research. Board characteristics are estimated by three independent variables, which are, board size, board functionality, and board composition. Banks‟
performance are estimated by two dependent variables, which are, banks' profitability, and banks‟ assets quality. Total observations for this research are 136 firm-years for the banks that are listed at Indonesian stock exchange from 2009-2013. This research is estimated using panel-data regression, with fixed and random effects model, based on the test for each model variations. The result of
this research shows that board characteristics have significant impacts to banks' profitability and assets quality."
