Isu kesenjangan dan ketimpangan serta lambatnya laju pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia menjadi pemicu pemerintah untuk mengakselerasi pembangunan infrastruktur dan untuk menopangnya, anggaran bagi pembangunan infrastruktur terus dinaikkan setiap tahun. Naiknya anggaran infrastruktur tentu akan mendapat perhatian dari perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang tersebut, sehingga penting bagi perusahaan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan opportunity seeking dan advantage seeking secara bersamaan untuk mempertahankan keunggulan kompetitifnya, dimana konsep ini dikenal dengan istilah strategic entrepreneurship. Perusahaan besar tidak cukup jika hanya mengembangkan kemampuan advantage seeking tetapi juga harus mengembangkan opportunity seeking secara bersamaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengkaji fakto-faktor yang dapat mengoptimalkan proses opportunity seeking di PT Waskita Karya Tbk sebagai salah satu perusahaan besar di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi. Penelitian ini menguji hipotesisnya dengan menggunakan SEM PLS. Penelitian ini berimplikasi secara teoritis dan manajerial. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini berkontribusi memperkaya konsep strategic entrepreneurship dan secara manajerial memberikan arah kepada manajer dalam menerapkan strategic entrepreneurship . Dengan demikian tingkat manajerial dapat menciptakan faktor-faktor pendukung yang kuat dalam rangkat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan.


Issues of inequality and the slow pace of economic growth in Indonesia are the trigger for the government to accelerate infrastructure development and to support it, the budget for infrastructure development continues to be increased every year. The increase in the infrastructure budget will certainly get the attention of companies engaged in this field, so it is important for companies to simultaneously develop the ability of opportunity seeking and advantages seeking to maintain their competitive advantage, where this concept is known as strategic entrepreneurship. Established companies are not enough if they only develop the ability of advantage seeking but also have to develop opportunity seeking simultaneously. Therefore, this study examines the factors that can optimize the opportunity seeking process at PT Waskita Karya Tbk as one of the major companies in Indonesia engaged in construction. This study tested the hypothesis by using PLS SEM. This study has theoretical and managerial implications. Theoretically, this research contributes to enriching the concept of strategic entrepreneurship and managerially giving direction to managers in implementing strategic entrepreneurship. Thus the managerial level can create strong supporting factors in the ranks to improve the companys performance.

"Kajian ini merupakan kajian praktik terbaik kepemimpinan sekolah di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) periode 2009-2012 yang terindikasi mampu menghasilkan transformasi. Soft systems methodology (SSM) digunakan sebagai metoda dalam kajian ini karena SIKL dipandang sebagai human activity systems. Di sisi lain, kepemimpinan Kepala SIKL periode 2009-2012 diapresiasi dan diakui Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur memiliki peran yang besar terhadap transformasi yang terjadi di SIKL, dan kepemimpinan Kepala SIKL periode 2009-2012 tersebut mendapatkan perhatian dari University of Malaya dan Chulalongkorn University. Sehingga kajian ini akan menggunakan cognitive mapping (CM) untuk memperkaya SSM.
Hasil kajian menyimpulkan empat (4) praktik terbaik kepemimpinan sekolah di SIKL periode 2009-2012 yang menjadi pelajaran, yaitu: 1) SIKL menggunakan konsep ?baik dulu pintar kemudian? untuk menentukan arah pengelolaan sekolah; 2) Konsep ?baik dulu pintar kemudian? diupayakan terwujud melalui strategi penyediaan contoh yang patut dan nyata bagi peserta didik oleh Kepala SIKL periode 2009-2012; 3) Komite SIKL periode 2010-2012 terlibat secara maksimal dalam menunjang pengelolaan SIKL; 4) Kepala SIKL periode 2009-2012 menggunakan cara informal dalam melakukan supervisi kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan memanfaatkan peserta didik SIKL sebagai user.

This is a best practice leadership study of Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) period of 2009-2012, which indicated able to do successful transformation. Soft systems methodology (SSM) is used as a method of this study, because SIKL is considered as human activity systems. On the other hand, principal leadership of SIKL period of 2009-2012 was appreciated and recognized by the Embassy of the Republic Indonesia in Malaysia because of taken a significant role to the transformation process of SIKL, and also recognized by University of Malaya Malaysia dan Chulalongkorn University Thailand. Thus, this study will use cognitive mapping (CM) for enhancing SSM.
This study concludes four (4) best practices leadership of Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL), they are: 1) SIKL period of 2009-2012 applied concept of ?good before smart? for directing school activities; 2) The concept of ?good before smart? was realized by strategy to providing appropriate and real model for students by SIKL?s principal period of 2009-2012; 3) SIKL?s committee period of 2010-2012 got involved in significant means for supporting successful of SIKL; 4) Informal way was used by SIKL?s principle period of 2009-2012 for supervising teaching process which utilizing students as user.

"Fenomena ditemukan bahwa selama ini diperdebatkan tentang kiprah dan potensi perempuan, hakekatnya perempuan memiliki permasalahan dalam memimpin. Bahkan  tingginya kapasitas yang dimiliki perempuan tidak menjadi jaminan keberhasilan pemimpin perempuan dalam mengelola organisasi. Perlu diteliti dan dianalisa secara mendalam tentang bagaimana sebenarnya kepemimpinan perempuan dari sisi perempuan sebagai pemimpin dan para bawahannya yang merasakan langsung akan kepemimpinan  perempuan.  Implementasi pemimpin perempuan dalam pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional di Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU) pada tahun 2018-2019 mempunyai faktor idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intelectual stimulation, dan individualized consideration. Kepemimpinan dalam pendekatan transformasional yang dimiliki seorang pemimpin untuk menjalankan tugasnya mencapai tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi penelitian seseorang/individu dalam mengungkap fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan, dengan key informan terdiri dari Dinni Melanie, Ceria Mesta, Soni Rianto, Rendy Sandy Hermawan, Rizqi Noor Fauziah serta pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan timbul ketika satu anggota kelompok mengubah motivasi atau kompetensi anggota lainnya di dalam kelompok. Ditinjau dari aspek Ketahanan Nasional, peran kepemimpinan dapat dinyatakan dalam pengembangan Konsepsi Nasional yang ditentukan secara seksama sehingga dapat diyakini kebenarannya dalam mendasari pola Pembangunan Nasional dan sekaligus mendorong kebijakan dan Strategi Nasional.

The phenomenon found that during this debate about the nature and potential of women, women essentially have problems in leading. Even the high capacity of women does not guarantee the success of women leaders in managing the organization. It needs to be researched and analyzed in depth about how the actual leadership of women from the side of women as leaders and subordinates who feel directly about womens leadership. The implementation of female leaders in the transformational leadership approach in the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) in 2018-2019 has idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration factors. Leadership in a transformational approach that is owned by a leader to carry out their duties to achieve planned goals. This study uses a qualitative method with a research study of a person/individual in uncovering phenomena that occur in the field, with key informants consisting of Dinni Melanie, Ceria Mesta, Soni Rianto, Rendy Sandy Hermawan, Rizqi Noor Fauziah and transformational leadership approaches used in research. The results showed that leadership arises when one group member changes the motivation or competence of other members in the group. Judging from the aspect of National Resilience, the role of leadership can be stated in the development of a carefully determined National Conception so that it can be believed to be true in underlying the pattern of National Development and at the same time encouraging National policy and Strategy."

"ABSTRACT
In today?s challenging and turbulent world, strategic management prescribes
organizations to develop resources and capabilities in order to gain competitive
advantage. The central question has been how to find ways and means to improve the
performance of the organization. Among many capabilities which could be developed
by the organization, the ability of the leaders to motivate and/or inspire members ofthe
team and/or workers to perform in their jobs and beyond the scope of their jobs, is
being researched here.
This dissertation studies how leadership by focusing at the bottom level of the
organization and by using various influence tactics, can create Organizational
Citizenship Behavior among the employees; in so doing, it could increase the overall
performance of the organization. The research is done in a Indonesian entity, a publicly
listed distribution company of a large pharmaceutical business group, operating through
40 branches across Indonesia, from Banda Aceh to J ayapura. The target population for
research is 460 marketing Eelds and staff members of the company, who have filled-in
some comprehensive questionnaires.
The research combines and extends three existing theories, the Leader-Member
(LMX) Theory, the lntluence Theory, and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior
(OCB) Theory. It also utilized eleven (11) influence tactics, and the OCB related to the
organization. The dissertation contirms this new extension of theories by demonstrating
the existence of the linkages (or mediations) between various variables of the model. It
has tested fifteen (15) sets of hypotheses. Most of the hypotheses have been confirmed
and the relationships between the variables are signiiicant.
Throughout the research, it was found that some speciitic iniluenee tactics
(inspirational appeal, personal appeal, consultation, collaboration, rational, appraising,
ingratiation, exchange or legitimation) are the most effective tactics used by the leaders
to motivate the subordinates performing in their jobs, and beyond the scope of their
jobs (OCR). The subordinates may help their colleagues; they may participate in many
social or informal activities beneficial to the organization culture; they may try to
protect the assets or properties of the organization, etc. With such an extraordinary
performance, they will contribute in their aggregate efforts to increase the level of
performance of the company as a whole. Other influence tactics such as coalition and
pressure do not develop OCB.
Equally important, it was demonstrated empirically that the ranking of OCB-
Organjzation Indexes is significantly correlated with the ranking of Total Sales of the
40 business units. It means that OCB-Organization can create high Total Sales, and
therefore high organization performance.
The contribution to the advancement of strategic management are (1) a new
extension of theories by combining three existing theories, (2) the practical
implementation of the Endings of this research in the day to day leadership and
management of a business organization, with focus at the bottom level, (3) the first
time application of such model in Indonesia, and (4) the opportunity to generalize the
application of the extension of theories, leading to a possible new theory to be called
?LMX-Organization Perfomance Theory?, and further practical implications, the result
of which would contribute meaningfully to the improvement in the quality of
management of organizations."
