"Homoseksual merupakan individu yang memiliki ketertarikan seksual dan emosional kepada jenis kelamin yang sama. Di Indonesia, orientasi seksual yang diakui oleh mayoritas masyarakat hanyalah heteroseksual. Homoseksual sebagai minoritas dipandang sebagai sebuah gangguan dan kelainan bahkan dosa. Hal ini menyebabkan individu homoseksual merasakan stigma dari masyarakat sekitar, dan bahkan merekapun memberikan stigma pada diri mereka sendiri. Minority stress atau stres minoritas adalah perasaan tertekan yang dihadapi oleh individu minoritas dari sebuah kelompok karena stigma yang diletakkan pada kelompok tersebut. Stres minoritas dapat mendatangkan berbagai gangguan psikologis mulai dari masalah harga diri yang rendah hingga kecemasan dan depresi. Maka dari itu penelitian kali ini ingin melakukan intervensi untuk membantu menurunkan stres minoritas pada partisipan homoseksual dengan menggunakan acceptance commitment therapy. Acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) dinilai telah membantu banyak permasalahan psikologis terkait sehingga penerapannya dinilai bisa membantu masalah stres minoritas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah within subject pre-postest design dimana peneliti mengukur skor minority stress scale (MSS) dan depression anxiety stress scale (DASS) sebelum dan sesudah pemberian 5 sesi intervensi secara individual pada dua orang partisipan homoseksual. Hasilnya didapatkan penurunan skor MSS dan DASS pada partisipan.

Homosexual describes as a sexual and emotional attraction to the same sex. In Indonesia, heterosexual is the only recognized sexual orientation among the society. Homosexuality as a minority is seen as a disturbance and neglect even sin. This causes homosexuals to feel the stigma of the surrounding community, and even they also give a stigma to themselves. Minority stress is stress experienced by a person from a minority group as a result from certain social stigma associated to the group. It can cause a variety of psychological distress such as problems with self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Therefore, this study wants to intervene to help reduce minority stress in homosexual participants using acceptance commitment therapy. Acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) is considered to has helped many psychological problems so that its application is considered to be able to help reducing the score of minority stress. The research method used was within subject pre-posttest design in which the researcher measured the scores of the minority stress scale (MSS) and depression anxiety stress scale (DASS) before and after 5 sessions individual intervention among two homosexual participants. The results obtained decreased MSS and DASS scores in participants."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas intervensi Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) berbasis web dalam meningkatkan personal growth initiative(PGI) pada mahasiswa sarjana yang mengalami depresi, kecemasan, atau stres. Tingkat depresi, kecemasan, dan stres diukur dengan menggunakan Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-42), sedangkan PGI diukur dengan menggunakan Personal Growth Initiative Scale II (PGIS-II). Desain one-group pretest-posttest dengan tambahan pengukuran follow-up digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Asesmen dilakukan sebelum, sesudah, dan dua minggu setelah intervensi dilaksanakan. Intervensi ACT berbasis web berlangsung selama satu bulan dengan menggunakan sistem Student Centered e-Learning Environment (SCeLE) Universitas Indonesia dan terdiri dari delapan sesi. Pengolahan data menggunakan Friedman Test dan Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menunjukkan bahwa PGI meningkat secara signifikan (p < 0,017) setelah intervensi ACT berbasis web. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat depresi, kecemasan, dan stres mahasiswa sarjana menurun secara siginfikan (p < 0,017) setelah intervensi ACT berbasis web. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang negatif antara perubahan PGI selama intervensi dengan tingkat depresi saat intervensi berkahir (p < 0,05).

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of web-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) intervention in improving personal growth initiative (PGI) in undergraduate students who experience depression, anxiety, or stress. Levels of depression, anxiety, and stress were measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-42), while PGI was measured using the Personal Growth Initiative Scale II (PGIS-II). One-group pretest-posttest design with additional follow-up measurement were used in this study. Assessments were conducted before, after and two weeks after the intervention was implemented. The web-based ACT intervention was carried out for one month using Universitas Indonesia's Student Centered e-Learning Environment (SCeLE) system and consisted of eight sessions. Data processing using Friedman Test and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test showed that PGI significantly increased (p < 0.017) following the web-based ACT intervention. This study also showed that the level of depression, anxiety, and stress of undergraduate students significantly reduced (p < 0.017) following the web-based ACT intervention. In addition, there is a negative correlation between changes in PGI during the intervention and the level of depression at the end of the intervention (p < >0.05)."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi caregiver strain pada ibu yang memiliki dan merawat anak kandungnya yang didiagnosa autism spectrum disorder ASD . Intervensi ini dilakukan karena tingginya tegangan yang dirasakan oleh caregiver selama proses perawatan. Tegangan tersebut tidak hanya berpengaruh pada kesehatan mental dari caregiver, tetapi juga berdampak pada pasien yang dirawat. Oleh karena itu, peneliti kemudian melakukan penelitian kuasi-eksperimental one group, before after pretest ndash; posttest design, yaitu dengan memberikan intervensi acceptance and commitment therapy ACT kepada empat orang partisipan. Selanjutnya, analisis dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari hasil pretest dan posttest. Secara kuantitatif, intervensi ini berhasil mengurangi nilai ketegangan caregiver yang diukur melalui the modified caregiver strain index MCSI . Secara kualitatif, intervensi ACT ini juga dapat mengatasi ketegangan caregiver selama proses perawatan. Partisipan memiliki perasaan yang lebih positif, mampu mengendalikan emosi negatif, dan lebih mampu menghadapi kejadian tidak menyenangkan dalam hidupnya. Mereka juga memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru mengenai cara untuk mengatasi ketegangan sebagai caregiver dari anak yang didiagnosa ASD.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to reduce caregiver strain of mothers who have and take care of autism spectrum disorder ASD children. This intervention conducted based on a high caregiver strain during caregiving process. This strain not only affects caregiver rsquo s psychological well being, but also the patient. Therefore, this research conducted using one group quasi experimental, before after pretest posttest design, by giving out ACT to four participants. The analysis done by comparing quantitative and qualitative data from the result of pretest and posttest. From the quantitative data, it is found that the intervention helps reduce strain score using the modified caregiver strain index MCSI . Qualitatively, this intervention helps the participants to deal with the strain as a caregiver during caregiving process. Participants have more positive feeling, able to control negative emotions, and more able to deal with unpleasant events in her life. They also get new knowledge and skills on how to deal with strain as a caregiver an ASD child."

"Mahasiswa rentan mengalami distress psikologis. Meski begitu, terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang menghambat mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan intervensi psikologis, yakni jumlah praktisi kesehatan mental yang terbatas, keterbatasan waktu, gejala permasalahan psikologis tertentu, dan stigma. Acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) berbasis web dapat menjadi alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi fisibilitas dan efektifitas dari ACT berbasis web untuk menurunkan experiential avoidance pada mahasiswa yang mengalami distress psikologis. Terdapat 38 partisipan yang mengikuti intervensi. Akan tetapi, hanya terdapat 12 partisipan dengan data yang lengkap dan dapat diolah untuk menguji efektivitas intervensi. Sumber data untuk evaluasi fisibilitas adalah riwayat aktivitas akun partisipan di situs web, kuesioner umpan balik sesi dan system usability scale. Sementara itu, sumber data yang digunakan untuk studi efektivitas adalah data kuantitatif dengan data kualitatif sebagai data tambahan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Acceptance and Action Questionnaire II (AAQ-II), White bear suppression inventor (WBSI) dan Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ACT berbasis web dapat dilakukan dan diterima oleh partisipan. Analisis statistic berupa uji Friedman dan uji Wilcoxon menunjukan bahwa ACT berbasis web efektif untuk menurunkan distress psikologis dan experiential avoidance secara signifikan. Keterbatasan penelitian dijelaskan pada bagian diskusi.

Students are vulnerable to psychological distress. However, there are several problems that prevent students from getting psychological intervention, namely the limited number of mental health practitioners, limited time, symptoms of certain psychological problems, and stigma. Web-based acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) can be an alternative to overcome these problems. The objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of a web-based ACT to reduce experiential avoidance in students who experience Psychological Distress. There were 38 participants who take part in the intervention. However, there were only 12 participants with complete data that could be processed to test the effectiveness of the intervention. The data sources for the feasibility evaluation are the activity history of participants account on the website, session feedback questionnaire and system usability scale. Meanwhile, the data source used for the effectiveness study is quantitative data with qualitative data as additional data. The measuring instruments used are Acceptance and Action Questionnaire II (AAQ-II), White bear suppression inventor (WBSI) and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42The result of this study shows that Web-based ACT can be done and accepted by participants. Statistical analysis in the form of Friedman test and Wilcoxon test showed that web-based ACT was effective in reducing psychological distress and experiential avoidance significantly. The limitations of the study are explained in the discussion section."

"Emotional distress pada mahasiswa adalah isu yang muncul akibat berbagai faktor, seperti transisi dari usia remaja ke dewasa muda, bertambahnya tuntutan, dan perubahan situasi serta sistem belajar. Pada Universitas Indonesia, fenomena distress terlihat dari banyaknya mahasiswa sarjana yang mencari bantuan psikologis di klinik internal Fakultas Psikologi Universitas. Antrean mahasiswa selalu melebihi kapasitas pemberi layanan sehingga mahasiswa perlu mengantre selama satu hingga tiga bulan. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi fenomena ini adalah dengan menjalankan intervensi psikologis berbasis-web dengan format guided self-help; fitur daring berpotensi memperluas keterjangkauan dan memudahkan partisipan untuk mendapat bantuan psikologis. Studi ini meninjau fisibilitas dan efektivitas Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) berbasis-web delapan sesi berformat guided self-help yang disusun untuk menurunkan tingkat emotional distress serta meningkatkan self-compassion mahasiswa sarjana Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia. Studi ini merupakan quasi-experimental dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest sebanyak 38 partisipan dengan alat ukur DASS 42, AAQ-II, dan SCS. Delapan modul sesi dirancang berdasarkan enam prinsip dasar ACT menurut Hayes dan Harris: penerimaan, defusi, mindfulness, diri sebagai konteks, nilai-nilai personal, dan perilaku berdasarkan komitmen. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa setelah intervensi, terdapat penurunan gejala distress yang signifikan, disertai dengan naiknya fleksibilitas psikologis dan naiknya self-compassion partisipan. Studi dipandang fisibel untuk dilakukan berdasarkan analisis kecukupan sumber daya, tingkat kemandirian partisipan, proses berjalannya studi, serta umpan balik partisipan. Riset lebih dalam dengan skala lebih luas dibutuhkan untuk mencapai konklusi yang lebih adekuat mengenai efektivitas program, namun fisibilitas intervensi ACT berbasis-web yang terbukti pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi psikologis berbasis-web merupakan opsi efisien yang dapat digunakan penyedia layanan kesehatan mental.

Emotional distress in university students is a prevalent issue that rises due to various factors such as problems transitioning to adulthood, adjustment difficulties, and struggles to adapt in new environments. In University of Indonesia, this phenomenon can be seen from the many students who come to the campus’ internal clinic to seek psychological help. Queues are long, and students typically must wait one to three months to get help. One option to overcome this obstacle is to utilize the internet and construct web-based psychological interventions in a guided self-help format; online interventions could reach more people and provide easier access. This study aims to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of web-based guided self-help Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to decrease emotional distress and increase psychological flexibility as well as self-compassion among undergraduate psychology students in University of Indonesia. This is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group, pretest-posttest design; eight online sessions were constructed based on traditional ACT guidelines by Hayes and Harris. 38 participants were recruited; Depression Anxiety Stress Scales 42, Acceptance and Action Questionnaire 2, and Self-Compassion Scale were used to measure emotional distress, psychological flexibility, and self-compassion respectively. Results show that post-intervention, participants’ emotional distress levels decreased significantly while psychological flexibility and self-compassion significantly increased. The intervention is also deemed feasible; feasibility assessments focused on resources, process, program management, participants’ adherence, and participants’ reviews. More research with a wider pool of participants is necessary to firmly establish the effectiveness of web-based ACT to treat distressed university students, but this study has clearly shown that web-based interventions are a viable and efficient option.

"Perempuan infertil yang sudah pernah gagal program Teknologi Reproduksi Berbantu TRB memiliki penilaian negatif terhadap diri sendiri yang besar. Self-compassion menjadi sesuatu yang penting bagi mereka untuk dapat berbelas kasih terhadap dirinya sendiri dalam menghadapi penderitaan akibat infertilitas. Self-compassion merupakan sikap diri yang positif secara emosional yang dapat melindungi diri akibat penilaian diri yang negatif, isolasi diri, dan ruminasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT untuk meningkatkan self-compassion pada perempuan pasien TRB yang mengalami distres psikologis. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment research dengan metode pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. Terdapat keterbatasan penelitian sehingga hanya ada satu orang dalam kelompok eksperimen dan tiga orang dalam kelompok kontrol yang berpartisipasi. Partisipan pada kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan self-compassion berdasarkan skor pada Self-Compassion Scale SCS dan penurunan distres infertilitas berdasarkan skor pada Fertility Problem Inventory FPI , yang ternyata dialami juga oleh satu dari tiga partisipan pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ACT dapat meningkatkan self-compassion perempuan pasien TRB yang mengalami distres psikologis, walaupun terdapat proses lain tanpa bantuan terapi yang dapat membuat mereka memiliki self-compassion lebih baik. Penjelasan hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat secara lengkap pada bagian diskusi.

Infertile women that failed Assisted Reproductive Technology ART have high negative self judgment. Self compassion is important for them for having compassion to themselves in facing the suffering because of infertility. Self compassion is an emotionally positive self attitude that should protect against the negative consequences of self judgment, isolation, and rumination. This research use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT for enhancing self compassion among women taking ART that have psychological distress. Quasi experiment with pretest posttest nonequivalent control group method is used in this research. Some limitations made the participants only contain by one person in experiment group and three persons in control group. Participant in experiment group showed rise on self compassion seen from Self Compassion Scale SCS with the decline on infertility distress seen from Fertility Problem Inventory FPI . This condition was also found in one of three participants in control group. These results showed that ACT can enhance self compassion among women taking ART with psychological distress, although the enhancement can be happened without therapy. Further explanation about these results can be seen on discussion section."

"[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara optimisme dan stres pada mahasiwa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia. Optimisme dalam penelitian ini didefinisikan sebagai sebagai keyakinan umum bahwa akan terjadi sesuatu yang baik (Schieier & Carver, 1985). Stres dalam penelitian ini merupakan keadaan yang muncul ketika individu merasa bahwa ia tidak dapat secara memadai mengatasi tuntutan yang ditunjukkan pada dirinya atau merasakan adanya ancaman terhadap dirinya (Lazarus, 1966). Life Orientation Test-Revised (Carver & Scheier, 1988) dan Perceived Stress Scale (Scheier, Carver, & Bridges, 1994) digunakan untuk mengukur optimisme dan stres mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini mengambil sebanyak 258 mahasiswa Bidikmisi UI dari angkatan 2014 sampai 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan dan negatif antara optimisme dan stres pada mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi.

"Jumlah tenaga kerja perempuan di Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahun. Hal ini mulai menggeser peran gender tradisional menjadi egaliter sehingga memunculkan struktur keluarga baru, yaitu dual earner. Pasangan dual earner merupakan suami dan istri yang bekerja keduanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara stres eksternal dan stres internal. Selain itu, penelitian ini ingin mengetahui apakah common dyadic coping dapat memoderasi hubungan stres internal dan stres eksternal. Partisipan penelitian merupakan 164 individu dari pasangan dual earner yang berusia di atas 20 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Stress Questionnaire For Couples (MSF-P) dan Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI). Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi dan regresi untuk melihat efek moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara stres eksternal dan stres internal (r=0.742, p<0.01, one tailed). Selain itu, hubungan keduanya dimoderasi oleh common dyadic coping secara signifikan (b = 0.11, 95% CI [0.02, 0.19], t = 2.55, p<0.05). Hasil ini dapat dijadikan acuan intervensi mengenai common dyadic coping untuk meminimalisasi tingkat stres eksternal dan internal pada pasangan dual earner.

The number of female workers in Indonesia continues to increase every year. This has begun the shift of traditional gender role to egalitarian gender role which gives a rise to a new family structure, namely the dual earner. Dual earner couples are husband and wife who both work. The aim of this study is to assess whether there is a significant positive relationship between external stress and internal stress. Aside from that, this study aims to the role of common dyadic coping in moderating the relationship between external stress and internal stress. Participants of this study are 164 individuals of dual earner couple aged above 20 years. Measuring instruments in this study are Multidimensional Stress Questionnaire For Couples (MSF-P) dan Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI). The datas were analyzed using correlation analysis and regression analysis to assess the moderation effect. Results indicated that there is a significant positive relationship between external stress and internal stress (r=0.742, p<0.01, one tailed). Furthermore, that relationship is moderated by common dyadic coping significantly (b = 0.11, 95% CI [0.02, 0.19], t = 2.55, p<0.05). These results can be used as a reference for interventions regarding common dyadic coping to minimize external stress and internal stress levels in dual earner couple."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang intervensi psikoedukasi kepada calon TKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) penata laksana rumah tangga (PLRT) (selanjutnya disebut dengan calon TKI PLRT). Calon TKI PLRT yang baru pertama kali berangkat memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang memadai baik dari segi bahasa, budaya, situasi kerja termasuk stres yang terkait situasi dan kondisi calon TKI PLRT di negara tujuan, dampaknya serta cara mengatasi stres yang baik. Di sisi lain, penyiapan calon TKI PLRT dari sisi psikologis masih kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba memberikan intervensi psikoedukasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman pada calon TKI PLRT mengenai karakteristik dan situasi kerja, stres dan teknik mengatasi stres yang baik.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil asesmen awal menunjukkan bahwa motivasi bekerja para calon TKI PLRT adalah faktor ekonomi, majikan menjadi sumber stres utama serta calon TKI PLRT tidak memiliki gambaran bekerja di luar negeri selain tentang perlakuan majikan terhadap mereka. Materi Psikoedukasi yang diberikan yaitu karakteristik pekerjaan PLRT, sumber stres terkait kondisi kerja, definisi, gejala, dampak stres serta coping terhadap stres. Setelah psikoedukasi, ada peningkatan pemahaman calon TKI PLRT mengenai materi karakteristik pekerjaan sebagai penata laksana rumah tangga dan teknik coping stres.

This research is about psycho-education intervention to Indonesian immigrant worker candidate as domestic worker (hereinafter called as Indonesian domestic worker candidate). Indonesian domestic worker candidate who will work abroad for the first time, do not have enough knowledge include language, culture, work situation and also stress related to situation and condition in destination country, stress effect and a good way to cope with stress. In the other hand, there are inadequate psychological preparations for Indonesian domestic worker candidate. Because of that, this research try to give psycho-education intervention which aimed to give awareness and understanding about characteristics and work situation, stress and coping stress to Indonesian domestic worker candidate.
This study is used qualitative approach. The need assessment's results show that working motivation of Indonesian domestic worker candidate is economic motive, employee as stressor and they don't have other description about working abroad beside employee's behaviors to them. The psycho-education contents are work characteristics as domestic workers, stressor related to work, definition, symptom, effect and coping stress. After psycho-education, there are increasing understandings on Indonesian domestic worker candidate related to content job characteristic as domestic worker and coping stress.
