"Sebagai perusahaan yang bercita-cita mencerahkan masyarakat melalui berbagai jaringan usahanya, Kompas Gramedia memiliki rangkaian kegiatan CSR di bidang pendidikan dengan tajuk “Inspirasi Pendidikan” di mana salah satunya yaitu KG English Club. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program KG English Club sebagai bentuk Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Kompas Gramedia sekaligus memaparkan faktor pendorong dan penghambat pelaksanaan program. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan materi audio-visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pelaksanaan program KG English Club yaitu corporate citizenship dengan metode cause branding dan kategori community voluntering. Tahapan implementasi program dilakukan dengan kerangka implementasi CSR yaitu plan, do, check, dan improve. Faktor pendorong dalam pelaksanaan program ini yaitu tidak adanya mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada kurikulum K-13 Sekolah Dasar (SD), adanya dukungan warga sekitar dan orang tua, disediakannya fasilitas yang memadai, dan bekerjasama dengan pihak yang kompeten. Adapun faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program ini yaitu tidak adanya person in charge pengajar di setiap kelas, terbatasnya jumlah volunter, dan tertundanya pelaksanaan periode selanjutnya karena pandemi virus covid-19.

As a company that is aspiring to enlighten the community through its various business networks, Kompas Gramedia has CSR activities series in the education sector with the title “Education Inspiration”, where one of which is the KG English Club. This research aims to describe the implementation of the KG English Club program as a form of Kompas Gramedia Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this research were through in-depth interviews, documentation, and audio-visual materials. The results showed that the implementation form of the KG English Club program was corporate citizenship with cause branding method and community volunteering category. The stages of program implementation were conducted with CSR implementation framework which is plan, do, check, and improve. The driving factors in this program implementation were there is no English subject in the K-13 curriculum of Elementary School, there is some support of local residents and parents, the provision of adequate facilities, and collaboration with competent parties. The inhibiting factors in this program implementation were there is no person in charge of teachers in each class, a limited number of volunteers, and a delay in the implementation of the next period due to the covid-19 virus pandemic"

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang salah satu program CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) di Citibank - Citi Indonesia, yaitu Program Pendidikan Keuangan untuk Perempuan Matang. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana sebuah program CSR sebagai suatu modal sosial bagi perusahaan. Melalui penelitian ini dapat diketahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan program pendidikan terhadap perempuan serta beberapa faktor-faktor pendukung maupun kendalanya. Pada akhir program dapat mengetahui dampak positif dari program ini, selain menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan peserta tentang pengelolaan keuangan, program ini juga memberikan pelajaran tambahan tentang pembekalan diri karena pengetahuan yang di dapat dari program ini tidak hanya menguntungkan para perempuan matang tersebut tetapi juga keluarga, kerabat dan para perempuan matang lainnya yang belum mendapatkan pendidikan yang sama. Dengan adanya hasil positif bagi peserta menjadikan program CSR ini bersifat sustainable (berkelanjutan), tidak sekedar pembiasan saja. Jika terdapat kekurangan dan kelemahan selama pelaksanaan program, akan dijadikan sebuah cara untuk perbaikan pelaksanaan program berikutnya.

This research discusses one of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at Citibank - Citi Indonesia, the Financial Education Program for Mature Women. The method used was a qualitative method to describe how a CSR program as a social capital for the company. Through this study it can be seen how the implementation of educational programs for women as well as several supporting factors and obstacles. At the end of the program the positive impact of this program can be determined, in addition to add insight and knowledge of the participants about financial management, these programs also provide additional lessons for attaining the knowledge obtained from the program not only benefits the mature women but also their families, relatives and other mature women who have not had the same education. With the positive results for the participants, to make the CSR program is sustainable (ongoing), not just refraction. Strengths and weaknesses during implementation of the program, will be used as an improvement for the next program."

"The pressure from non marketing to the company getting bigger as public society and world awareness about big part of the company to human life getting higher. This pressure in later on push the development of application of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) concept as one of company's strategy to guarantee its business. The development of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) has been assumed to existed along time ago but the definition of its concept start in 1950 (Carol], 1999). The development of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) create Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) definition that has its meaning from carivative activities to the one that integrated to business. But there are some similarities which is balance between looking for the profit and concerning social activities and environment (SWA 2005; 46). The development of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) in Indonesia has been in discussion since 1995.
The purpose of this research are to know: (I) company's understanding of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) ; (2) how far CSR application has been implemented, (3) factors that influenced CSR implementation. This research is expected to catch diversity of pattern of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) that can contribute to the knowledge in mapping of Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) practice in Indonesia.
Type of research in Qualitative research method is explorative with study case research strategy. Companies that being researched are four companies with different industry background but all of them been operated in Indonesia as also the main player in each industry. Four companies that been selected are PT. NEWMONT INDONESIA in mining field, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk in agriculture business, PT PLN Jakarta and Tangerang (Persero) and KOMPAS-GRAMEDIA Group in services. Data that been collected is analized by using comparative study to see comparative to see the similarities and differencies in CSR implementation between companies.
The result of this research shown that the four companies have different pattern in understanding and maintain CSR implementation. Newmont understood CSR as a form of responsibility for having privilege to operate and develop (threatened demand). PT PLN and AAL understood as a care form to the society around the company in order to be part of the society as in the end they can support its operation (profit). Different that the three companies earlier, KKGN not really take CSR to company's profit. KKG understood CSR as a form of care that comes from moral obligation and to answer society expectation (moral).
The similarities from the four companies are they realize the importance of CSR implementation in their operation process. Generally, the companies understood the CSR concept as an effort of the company to have society support by giving them positive contribution to external stakeholder company. There is a similarity in Respondent definition in four companies, confidence in existence of take and give law.
CSR definitions in four companies in general have three propositions where CSR are:
1. Company's obligation, which can be seen from company's commitments in its policy, programs, resources allocation (funding, human resources, time and energy), organizational structure, evaluation and reporting process as a responsible manner to its operation to society.
2. To improve the welfare of society, for example through improvement in economic, education, health, infrastructure, etc.
3. To support company's operation, such as resources supply, asset protection, consumer creation, etc.
From CSR implementation side, this research concluded that (I) CSR policy still in general form of company's Code of Conduct; (2) trend to choose CSR issues that appropriate with company's competency and resources. (3) trend to use CSR in charity form; (4) put CSR in external relation function; (5) except Kompas, company use internal funding for CSR initiatives; (6) CSR evaluation and reporting tend to be internally conducted. Based on Malkasian (2004) Newmont has the higher level of commitment then the other three companies.
Factor that seem to be influencing CSR understanding and implementation are context, operational impact, and internal condition of company.
Suggestions for managerial in implementing CSR are (I) give attention on internal CSR; (2) give attention also in minimalize negative impact on operation; (3) integrating CSR with business process; (4) increasing transparency in evaluating and reporting CSR to external stakeholders.
Suggestions for next research are (1) conduct explanative study in proofing factors that influence CSR understanding and implementation; (2) deep research in the real process of CSR in the field; (3) historical study to find CSR motives; (4) deeper examination about CSR and business process and value chain management.

"Skripsi ini membahas pengaruh modal sosial terhadap implementasi CSR Ternak Mandiri PT Badak NGL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial memiliki pengaruh terhadap implementasi CSR Ternak Mandiri; semakin tinggi modal sosial maka semakin tinggi tingkat keberhasilan implementasi CSR Ternak Mandiri; terdapat hubungan yang lemah antara modal sosial dan implementasi CSR Ternak Mandiri. Peneliti menyarankan perusahaan harus lebih ketat dalam pengawasan CSR; penguatan modal sosial dalam CSR dapat berguna bagi keberlanjutan perusahaan.

This thesis discussed about the effects of social capital and the CSR implementation in PT Badak NGL's Ternak Mandiri program. The research method is quantitative method with descriptive design. The result of this research shows that social capital has a relationship with the implementation of CSR Ternak Mandiri; the higher the social capital, the higher the success rate of implementation of CSR; There is a low relationship between social capital and CSR implementation of Ternak Mandiri. Researcher suggest that the company need to be more rigorous on monitoring the CSR; strengthening social capital in CSR can be useful for corporate sustainability."

"Industri ekstraktif berpengaruh terhadap persoalan lingkungan dan sosial pada masyarakat sekitar industri. Masalah riset ini perihal model corporate social responsibility (CSR) untuk bisnis berkelanjutan melalui analisis program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan riset adalah menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tata kelola serta dampak CSR yang diimplementasikan oleh perusahaan dan mengembangkan model CSR untuk bisnis berkelanjutan. Metode riset menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan soft system methodology untuk mengembangkan model CSR. Hasil riset menunjukan tata kelola implementasi CSR dilakukan berdasarkan kebijakan keberlanjutan yang terimplementasi melalui aktivitas CSR. Dampak dari implementasi CSR memberikan penguatan pada sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan. Model CSR pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dapat dilakukan pada industri ekstraktif karena berdampak langsung pada masyarakat. Kesimpulan riset ini adalah tata kelola implementasi CSR telah dilakukan melalui kebijakan keberlanjutan dan pelaksanan program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berdampak pada peningkatan kapasitas dan penguatan aspek sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan. Model CSR melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat relevan untuk dilakukan untuk bisnis berkelanjutan.

The extractive industry influences environmental and social problems in the community around the industry. This research problem concerns the corporate social responsibility (CSR) model for sustainable business through an analysis of community empowerment programs. The aim of the research is to analyze and describe the governance and impact of CSR implemented by companies and to develop a CSR model for sustainable business. The research method uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive analysis and a soft system methodology to develop a CSR model. The research results show that the governance of CSR implementation is carried out based on sustainability policies that are implemented through CSR activities. The impact of CSR implementation provides social, economic and environmental reinforcement. The CSR model for community empowerment can be applied to the extractive industry because it has a direct impact on society. The conclusion of this research is that the governance of CSR implementation has been carried out through sustainability policies and the implementation of community empowerment programs that have an impact on increasing capacity and strengthening social, economic and environmental aspects. The CSR model through community empowerment is relevant to do for a business sustainability."

"ABSTRACT
Salah satu upaya swasta dalam mewujudkan upaya pembangunan adalah melalui program Corporate Social Responsibility. Dalam pelaksanaan programCSR, muncul istilah kemitraan, yakni kerjasama antar pihak-pihak terkait atau stakeholders dengan tujuan pelaksanaan program CSR yang lebih efektif dan tidak timpang tindih. Salah satu bentuk kemitraan Pemerintah dan Swasta yakni lembaga Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR) yang berada di Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai implementasi model kerja Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR) dalam melaksanakan program CSR perusahaan di Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat tiga model kerja yang dimiliki CCSR dalam melaksanakan program kemitraan CSR. Salah satu modelnya, yakni model kerja 2 yang menggabungkan program CSR perusahaan dengan RPJMD Kota Cilegon. Model ini memiliki beberapa tahapan dalam implementasinya yaitu, tahap pendefinisian program, need assessment, pengumpulan data untuk mengukur performa,menentukan dan mengembangkan objektif, mendesain program, monitoring, serta proses budgeting dan akunting. Adapun faktor penghambat CCSR dalam menjalankan model kerja 2 yakni rasa tidak percaya terhadap CCSR, bagi perusahaan-perusahaan yang belum bergabung atau bekerjasama dengan CCSR.

ABSTRACT
Social responsibility of business.One of Corporates effort to reach development is by Corporate Social Responsibility Program. In CSR practice, there is partnership concept, which all stakeholders are working together to make an effective CSR program. One of partnership form between corporate and government is Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility in Cilegon city. This research discusses about Implementation of Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibilitys (CCSR) Work Model on CSR Program practice in Cilegon City. This study is conducted with qualitative approach, using descriptive studies. The result of the study shows that CCSR has three work models for implementing CSR partnership program. One of these models is 2nd model, which has collaboration between CSR programs from corporate and governments programs. There are several steps in this work model.The step insists of making program definition, collecting data to measure performance, desire and developing objectives, desaining program, monitoring, budgeting and accounting process. There is a factor that appear as a resistor in implementing this work model. The factor is a lack of trust towards CCSR from corporate that hasnt work together yet with CCSR."

"Tesis ini membahas Kemitraan Antara Pemerintah Kota Cilegon Dengan Perusahaan Di Wilayah Kota Cilegon Dalam Melaksanakan Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Melalui Lembaga Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR). Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan informan sebanyak tujuh orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya partisipasi perusahaan yang menjadi anggota CCSR, Perwal sebagai payung hukum memiliki kelemahan terkait keberlanjutan lembaga CCSR, CCSR belum memiliki prioritas program dan basis data sendiri, serta rendahnya keterlibatan masyarakat dalam tahapan pelaksanaan program. Saran penelitian ini, agar status hukum CCSR ditingkatkan dari Peraturan Walikota (Perwal) menjadi Peraturan Daerah (Perda), lembaga CCSR perlu memaksimalkan sosialisasi, agar bertambahnya jumlah perusahaan yang menjadi anggota CCSR, CCSR perlu membuat basis data dan memiliki program prioritas sendiri, serta perlunya pelibatan masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan program.

This thesis is a research on partnership between local government and companies in Cilegon city on the implementation of corporate social responsibility program through Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR). The research is descriptive using qualitative approach with the informants are seven persons. The research result shows low participation of companies to be CCSR members. Mayor Law has weaknesses related with continuity of CCSR. CCSR also doesn?t have priority program and own data. Besides, there is low involvement of society in the implementation of the program. Recommendations are: the Mayor Law should be changed into Regional Law, CCSR organizations needs to do more promotion to add members, CCSR has to make its own data and priority program, and more society involvement in the program."

"Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan paradigma post-positivist yang membahas evaluasi efektivitas program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang yang ada pada PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Unit Pembangkitan Muara Karang (PT PJB UPMKR). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan penguatan secara kuantitatif.
Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan teknik survey dan in depth interview, serta studi kepustakaan/literatur. Penekanan evaluasi adalah pada evaluasi input, output dan outcome program Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah stakeholder penerima manfaat program CSR.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program CSR Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang ini telah terkonsep baik namun memiliki kekurangan yang kiranya dapat diperbaiki ke depannya. Namun yang terpenting, program CSR yang telah dilakukan sudah memberi dampak positif bagi masyarakat.

This research is a descriptive study with post-positivist paradigm that addresses the evaluation of the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang in PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Muara Karang Power Plant (PT PJB UPMKR). This study is a qualitative research with quantitative reinforcement.
The method used is the case study method with survey techniques and in-depth interviews, and library research / literature. The emphasis of the evaluation is the evaluation of inputs, outputs and program outcomes of Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang program. Respondents in this study were beneficiaries of CSR stakeholders.
The results showed that the CSR program Bangkit Bersama PJB Muara Karang been conceptualized well but has shortcomings that would be corrected in the future. But most importantly, CSR programs that have been undertaken have a positive impact for the community.

"PT Krakatau Steel merupakan perusahaan baja yang terbilang besar di Indonesia, namun tindak gangguan kejahatan dan konflik masyarakat masih sering terjadi di dalamnya. Kejahatan yang terjadi dikarenakan kesejahteraan yang kurang merata. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian kali ini peneliti menggambarkan tentang bagaimana analisis pencegahan kejahatan melalui pembangunan sosial pada program CSR PT Krakatau Steel dalam mencegah timbulnya kejahatan dan konflik. Dalam penelitian kali ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam menggambarkan data yang di dapat di lapangang mengengai pencegahan kejahatan melalui pembangunan sosial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah program CSR berpotensi terhadap timbulnya sebuah ancaman kejahatan dan konflik bagi peningkatan keamanan masyarakat dan perusahaan.

Criminal Activities and horizontal conflicts still occur in a prominent steel processing company such as PT Krakatau Steel because of high income gap. The focus of the thesis is the CSR Program of Krakatau Steel. This is a qualitative study that analyses how PT Krakatau Steel mitigates criminal activities by initiating social development program. The result of this study is Corporate Social Responsibility Program has the potency of mitigating criminal, horizontal conflicts, and other malevolent activities."
