"Usia mahasiswa termasuk dalam fase emerging adulthood yang berpotensi tinggi untuk mengalami ketidakstabilan psikologis akibat banyaknya perubahan di masa transisi. Mahasiswa keperawatan atau kesehatan lainnya dianggap memiliki risiko stres yang tinggi akibat beban studi dan padatnya kegiatan perkuliahan di setiap tingkatannya. Tidak jarang mahasiswa kesulitan dalam beradaptasi hingga akhirnya menghindar atau melakukan hal berbahaya seperti menyakiti diri yang dianggapnya sebagai mekanisme koping untuk melepas beban. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional sederhana dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri (self-harm behavior) pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 236 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia dengan teknik probability proportional sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire versi Bahasa Indonesia yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa keperawatan terlibat dalam self-harm behavior, yang termasuk didalamnya perilaku self-harm (34.3%), percobaan bunuh diri (8.1%), ancaman bunuh diri (7.2%), dan ide bunuh diri (30.5%). Adanya gambaran self-harm behavior pada mahasiswa keperawatan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan upaya pencegahan dan penanganan di tingkat universitas.

The majority of college students are in the phase of emerging adulthood of human development. In this transition period, the students are susceptible to experiencing psychological instability due to many changes in their lives. Nursing students are presumed to be at risk of high-stress levels because of the high demands, expectations and activities during their study. Therefore, some students struggle to adapt to their college life and choose to avoid their responsibilities or make some dangerous decisions (self-harm behavior) as it is believed to be a form of coping mechanism to release their stress. This study used a cross sectional approach with the aim of finding the prevalence of self-harm behavior among nursing students. This study involved 236 students from Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia with probability proportionate sampling technique. The instrument used is the modified Indonesian version of Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire (SHBQ). The results showed that nursing students engaged in self-harm behavior, including self-harm (34.3%), suicide attempted (8.1%), suicide threat (7.2%), and suicide ideation (30.5%). The existence of prevalence of self-harm behavior among nursing students is needed to improve prevention and treatment at the university level"

Latar Belakang: Depresi merupakan salah satu gangguan mental yang memiliki prevalensi tinggi di populasi termasuk di Indonesia khususnya pada populasi remaja. Self-harm merupakan perilaku menyakiti diri yang memiliki prevalensi tertinggi pada remaja. Beberapa penelitian telah mengaitkan depresi dengan perilaku self-harm. Penelitian dengan jenis studi potong lintang ini mencari tahu hubungan antara depresi dengan perilaku self-harm pada siswa SMA di Depok. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan depresi dengan perilaku self-harm pada siswa SMA di Depok. Metode: Penelitian dengan jenis studi potong lintang ini mencari tahu hubungan antara depresi dengan perilaku self-harm pada siswa SMA di Depok dengan menggunakan kuesioner Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale-Revised (CESD-R) dan Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire (SHBQ). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dari SMA Dian Diaktika Depok. Dari 176 siswa yang mengisi kuesioner, dipilih 146 siswa dengan metode random sampling. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara depresi dengan perilaku self-harm pada siswa SMA di Depok yang secara statistik bernilai p = 0,003 dan OR = 4,250 (IK 95% = 1,603 s.d 11,266). Dengan demikian, siswa dengan gejala depresi berpeluang 4,250 kali lebih mungkin melakukan perilaku self-harm dibandingkan dengan yang tidak memiliki gejala depresi. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan depresi dengan perilaku self-harm pada siswa SMA di Depok.

"Ujian Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) merupakan ujian yang dapat menyebabkan kecemasan bagi mahasiswa kesehatan. Individu berupaya dalam menangani stressor dan salah satu bentuk maladaptifnya adalah perilaku self-harm yang merupakan upaya menyakiti diri sendiri. Penanganan stressor dapat adaptif bila menggunakan mekanisme koping yang cocok dengan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan, perilaku self-harm, dan mekanisme koping mahasiswa yang menjalani OSCE. Desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian 107 responden (52 responden angkatan 2019 dan 55 responden angkatan 2020), dengan teknik proportional sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A/HARS), Self-Harm Inventory (SHI), dan Brief COPE Scale. Analisis univariat dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecemasan ringan (51%), perilaku self-harm rendah (79%) dengan memukul diri sendiri (38,31%), dan mekanisme koping sedang dengan jenis problem-focused paling banyak digunakan (72%). Saran dari penelitian ini adalah promosi kesehatan mengenai tingkat kecemasan, perilaku self-harm, dan mekanisme koping serta bagaimana solusinya.

The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is an exam which can cause anxiety for health students. Students are trying to deal with stressors and self-harm behavior is one of the maladaptive forms, which is defined as an attempt to hurt themselves. The coping mechanism students using to handle stressor can adaptive if it matches for each individual. This study aims to see the characteristics of respondents and the overview of the level of anxiety, self-harm behavior, and student coping mechanisms during OSCE. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research sample consisted of 107 FIK UI students consisting of 52 respondents from class of 2019 and 55 respondents from class of 2020 with a proportional sampling technique. The instruments used are the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A/HARS), the Self-Harm Inventory (SHI), and the Brief COPE Scale. This study uses univariate analysis with the results showed that students experienced mild levels of anxiety (51%), low self-harm behavior (79%), and moderate use of problem-focused coping mechanisms (72%). The main suggestion of this research is health promotion regarding anxiety levels, self-harm behavior, and coping mechanisms and how to solve them."

"Kajian literatur ini membahas tentang potensi bahaya dan manfaat potensial dari penggunaan media sosial pada perilaku self harm remaja dan implikasinya pada praktik pekerjaan sosial. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh media sosial yang telah menjadi pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap perilaku self harm, dimana penggunaan media sosial ini memiliki pengaruh yang beragam, bukan hanya kepada remaja, tetapi pada kelompok usia lainnya juga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dengan melakukan pencarian dan pengumpulan data melalui database online (Sage Journal, ScienceDirect, dan lain sebagainya). Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran, diperoleh sebanyak 15 jurnal yang relevan dalam rentang waktu 2007-2021. Dari sejumlah penelitian tersebut terdapat 5 penelitian empirik yang menjadi bahan acuan dalam penulisan kajian literatur ini, diantaranya adalah penelitian milik Mars, et al. (2015), Jacob, et al. (2017), Arendt, et al. (2019), Wey Lung, et al. (2020), dan Jones, et al. (2011). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data lintas kasus dengan mengulas kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dimiliki masing-masing bahan acuan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengulas hasil temuan penelitian dari masing-masing bahan acuan terkait potensi bahaya dan manfaat potensial dari penggunaan media sosial pada perilaku self harm remaja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan didapati potensi bahaya dari penggunaan media sosial pada perilaku self harm ini dapat menyebabkan depresi, gangguan kecemasan, gangguan emosional, peniruan perilaku pada pengguna yang rentan bahkan berpotensi untuk mendorong tindakan self harm yang lebih parah sehingga dapat menyebabkan eksaserbasi perilaku self harm karena normalisasi dan peningkatan paparan. Sedangkan untuk manfaat potensialnya antara lain media sosial dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator dalam upaya pencegahan perilaku self harm dan sebagai informasi pencarian situs bantuan maupun pencarian dukungan sosial empati secara online oleh para pelaku self harm. Selain itu, penggunaan media sosial dan perilaku self harm di kalangan remaja ini juga dapat berpengaruh pada tingkat kebahagian seorang individu. Hasil kesimpulan dalam kajian literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memainkan peranan penting dalam praktik perilaku self harm di kalangan remaja. Dalam hal ini, perlu adanya pemahaman dari para tenaga profesional, termasuk pekerja sosial dalam memahami perilaku self harm dan kaitannya dengan penggunaan media sosial sebagai suatu aspek penting dalam memahami dan menangani fenomena self harm ini. Dalam penelitian ini, disajikan pula implikasi bagi praktik pekerjaan sosial, dimana terdapat beberapa saran kegiatan intervensi sosial yang dapat digunakan sebagai program promotif, preventif, kuratif dan rehabilitatif dalam menangani fenomena self harm ini.

This literature review discusses the potential harm and benefit of using social media on adolescent self-harm behavior and its implications for social work practice. This research is motivated by social media, which has become a significant influence on self-harm behavior, where the use of social media has various effects, not only on adolescents but on other age groups as well. This research uses a literature study approach by searching and collecting data through online databases (Sage Journal, ScienceDirect, etc.). Based on the search results, 15 relevant journals were obtained from 2007-2021. From these studies, five empirical studies became the reference material in writing this literature review, including the research of Mars, et al. (2015), Jacob, et al. (2017), Arendt, et al. (2019), Wey Lung, et al. (2020), and Jones, et al. (2011). This study uses cross-case data analysis techniques by reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of each reference material. In addition, this study also examines the research findings of each reference material regarding the potential harm and benefit of using social media on adolescent self-harm behavior. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the potential harms presented in this study include depression, anxiety disorders, emotional disturbances, imitation of behavior in vulnerable users, and even the potential to encourage more severe self-harm so that it can cause exacerbation of self-harm behavior because of normalization and increased exposure. As for the potential benefits, among others, social media can be used as an indicator in efforts to prevent self-harm behavior and information by searching help sites and seeking online empathy also social support for the self-harm actors. In addition, the use of social media and self-harm behavior among adolescents can also affect an individual's level of happiness. The conclusion of this literature review shows that social media plays a vital role in the practice of self-harm among adolescents. In this case, it is necessary to have an understanding from professionals, including social workers, about self-harm behavior and its relation to the use of social media as an important aspect in understanding and dealing with this self-harm phenomenon. In this study, the implications for the practice of social work are also presented, where there are several suggestions for social intervention activities that can be used as promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative programs in dealing with this self-harm phenomenon."

"Self-harm merupakan masalah kesehatan bermakna pada dewasa muda dan angkanya meningkat pada orang dengan gangguan jiwa. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan instrumen SHBQ dalam bahasa Indonesia dan menentukan validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada populasi klinis (N=100, laki dan perempuan, usia 13-59 tahun) yang berobat ke Unit Rawat Inap dan Unit Rawat Jalan Psikiatri RSCM. Uji validitas isi memperoleh koefisien 0,97 yang menunjukkan bahwa butir-butir pertanyaan dalam instrumen relevan dengan konsep self-harm. Uji validitas kontruksi membuktikan bahwa butir-butir pertanyaan dalam instrumen mewakili konstruksi teoritis dan konseptual selfharm. Koefisien Cronbach?s Alpha untuk untuk masing-masing sub-skala berkisar antara 0,87-0,93 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa reliabilitas konsistensi internal instrumen adalah baik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan instrumen Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire versi Bahasa Indonesia yang sahih dan handal dalam menilai self-harm pada orang dengan gangguan jiwa yang berobat ke Unit Rawat Inap dan Unit Rawat Jalan Psikiatri di RSCM serta dapat digeneralisasi ke populasi klinis orang dengan gangguan jiwa di Indonesia.

Self-harm is a significant health problem in young adult and the number increased in people with mental health. The present study aims to get the SHBQ instrument in Bahasa Indonesia and determine its validity and reliability. The final instrument in Bahasa Indonesia was given to the clinical sample (N=100, female and male, age range 13-59 years old) recruited from the inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units. Coefficient for content validity is 0,97, showing that all items in the instrument are relevant to the self-harm concept. Construction validity test found that the items in SHBQ represent theoritical and conseptual construction of self-harm. The Cronbach?s α coefficient for each sub-scales vary between 0,87-0,93 and it was concluded that internal consistency reliability is good. This study produced a valid and reliable Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire in Bahasa Indonesia to be used in outpatient and inpatient psychiatry unit in RSCM. The result can also be generalized to the clinical population of people with mental disorder in Indonesia."

"Kebudayaan dapat memengaruhi perilaku dan persepsi sehat dan sakit seseorang. Asuhan keperawatan secara peka budaya diperlukan untuk memahami kebutuhan klien dengan budaya yang beragam. Efikasi diri sangat diperlukan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya agar memberikan kepercayaan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya sehingga menghasilkan perilaku caring yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners. Penelitian ini melibatkan 102 orang mahasiswa profesi ners yang berasal program regular dan ekstensi menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan metode pengumpulan data secara cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya mahasiswa profesi ners sudah sangat tinggi dilihat dari proporsinya (83,2%) dan perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners juga sangat baik dilihat dari proporsinya (93,67%). Hasil uji analisis dengan menggunakan uji spearman rho menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners (p value = 0.0001). Penelitian ini menyarankan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai tingkat efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring pada tahap akademik sarjana yang sudah memulai praktik di rumah sakit, maupun perawat di yang bekerja di rumah sakit.

Culture can influence a person's behavior and perception of health and illness. Culturally sensitive nursing care is needed to understand the needs of clients with diverse cultures. Self-efficacy is very necessary in carrying out culturally sensitive nursing care in order to provide confidence in performing cultural nursing care so as to produce good caring behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing profession students. This study involved 102 professional students from both regular and extension programs using a descriptive correlation design with cross sectional data collection methods with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that self-efficacy in providing nursing care to nursing professional students was very high seen from the proportion (83.2%) and caring behavior of nursing professional students was also very good seen from the proportion (93.67%). The results of the analysis using the Spearman Rho test showed that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing professional students (p value = 0.0001). It is recommended that further research be conducted on the level of self-efficacy in providing cultural care for caring behavior at the academic level who have started practicing in hospitals, as well as nurses working in hospitals."

"Influenza merupakan salah satu virus pandemik yang menjadi masalah global dan harus dikendalikan. Pengendalian penularan virus influenza bergantung pada perilaku kepatuhan terhadap standar tindakan pencegahan dan pemeliharaan kebersihan pernapasan. Mahasiswa memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap penularan influenza dari individu ke individu lainnya sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku pencegahan penularan influenza pada mahasiswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional dengan metode total sampling sebanyak 156 responden. Berdasarkan data penelitian didapatkan bahwa perilaku mahasiswa dalam pencegahan penularan influenza yaitu 50,6 baik dan sisanya 49,4 kurang baik.
Hasil identifikasi perilaku didapatkan bahwa seluruh mahasiswa menutup mulut ketika batuk atau bersin dengan menggunakan lengan 64,1 dan menggunakan tisu 35,9. Mahasiswa yang melakukan imunisasi vaksin influenza yaitu 12,8, mahasiswa yang menggunakan masker dengan tepat yaitu 57,7. Perilaku tepat hand hygiene pada mahasiswa saat influenza yaitu 86,5. Peneliti merekomendasikan promosi kesehatan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran mahasiswa dalam pengendalian infeksi virus influenza sehingga dapat menurunkan angka kesakitan.

Influenza was one of the pandemic virus which had become a global threat had to be controlled. Control over the transmission of the virus depended on compliance with standards of precautions and maintenance of respiratory hygiene. Students had a high risk of transmission of influenza from individuals to other individuals so that this study aims to determined the prevention behavior of influenza transmission. This research was cross sectional descriptive study used total sampling method with the number of respondents 156. Based on research data, student behavior in prevention of influenza transmission was 50,6 good and 49,4 was not.
All students covered their mouths when coughing or sneezing by used arms as much as 64.1 and 35.9 used tissues. Those who immunized influenza vaccine were 12.8. The correct student behavior in using the mask was 57.7. Hand hygiene behavior of students when suffering from influenza was 86.5 good. Researchers recommend that health promotion to be done to raise the awareness of students in the control of influenza virus infection so that it can reduce morbidity rate.

"The health behavior of faculty of nursing students in University of Indonesia
research was a descriptive research. The purpose of this research was identified
the applications of health behavior. The number of sample was 96 responders
which taken from first grade until last grade students. The measurement used 11
indicators of health behavior; washing hand, consuming foods with balance
nutrition, sleeping and rest, using clean and healthy toilet, exercising, do not
smoking, do not consuming alcohol and drugs, measuring weight and height
regularly, throwing garbage into garbage can, using safety guard, and managing
stress. This research also seen another behavior which is related to application of
health behavior. The results of this research were: 52.1 % students applied good
health behavior in their life and 47.9% students were not apply good health
behavior."
