"Sebagian besar perusahaan startup di Indonesia mengalami kegagalan pada fase awal berdirinya perusahaan. Salah satu faktor penyebab kegagalan ini adalah kurangnya inovasi yang dimunculkan oleh perusahaan. Sumber daya manusia dalam perusahaan startup berperan penting dalam mengembangkan inovasi yang hendak dimunculkan. Berdasarkan studi, perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan adalah sebuah faktor utama dalam mendorong inovasi perusahaan.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk membuat alat ukur yang reliabel, valid dalam mengukur perilaku kerja inovatif, memiliki item-item yang baik, dan memiliki norma yang dapat digunakan untuk menginterpretasi skor. Partisipan dalam penelitian merupakan karyawan perusahaan startup yang berusia di bawah 10 tahun (n=83).
Hasil menunjukkan alat ukur Perilaku Inovatif dalam Bekerja (PIB) memiliki konsistensi internal yang tinggi (α = 0,911), valid atas korelasi dengan work engagement yang memiliki hubungan secara teoretis (r = 0.403; p<0.01, N=83), dan memiliki item yang dapat membedakan kemampuan antar individu dengan baik. Norma digunakan dalam menginterpretasi skor alat ukur PIB adalah within group norms dengan metode standard score (M=10; SD=3).

The Majority of Indonesia's startup companies failed during the early phase of the company. One factor contributing to this failure is the lack of innovation brought up by the company. The human resources in a company plays an important role in fostering innovation. Studies showed employee’s innovative work behavior is the main factor that drives company innovation.
This research aims to construct a psychological measurement that is reliable, valid in measuring innovative work behavior, have a good item and norms for score interpretation purpose. Research participant is employee who works in a startup company under 10 years of age (n=83).
Result shows that Innovative Behavior at Work measure (PIB) have high internal consistency (α = 0,911), proven valid based on correlation with work engagement that theoretically are a related variable (r = 0.403; p<0.01, N=83), and have item that are able to differentiate individual capabilities. Norms that are used in this research is within group norms with standard score method (M=10, SD=3).

"Hilirisasi Industri merupakan langkah maju agar hasil penelitian dan pengembangan dapat termanfaatkan oleh industri dan masyarakat. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan koordinasi dan kolaborasi seluruh stakeholder yang terlibat yaitu akademisi, bisnis dan pemerintah. Tesis ini berkontribusi dalam memahami bagaimana collaborative governance dapat mendorong hilirisasi hasil penelitian dan pengembangan di Kemenristekdikti dan untuk memahami bagaimana pola kolaborasi antar stakeholder dalam upaya mendorong hilirisasi hasil penelitian dan pengembangan dengan berdasarkan konsep collaborative govarnance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan post positivism, serta pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan kolaborasi antara stakeholder dapat mendorong hilirisasi hasil penelitian dan pengembangan di Kemenristekdikti. Pola kerjasama dalam melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan, peneliti/perekayasa harus memperhatikan kebutuhan masyarakat dan pasar bukan hanya kebutuhan bidang keilmuannya saja, karena dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan masyarakat maka produk inovasi yang dihasilkan akan disambut dengan baik oleh industri.

Commercialization is a step forward for the product of research and development can be utilized by industry and society. To achieve this, coordination and collaboration were needed of all stakeholders involved which are academia, business and government. This thesis contributes to understanding how collaborative governance can encorage the commercialization of research and development outcomes at Kemenristekdikti and to understand how the pattern of collaboration among stakeholders in an effort to encourage comercialization of research and development products based on the concept of collaborative governance. This study used a qualitative research method, approach with post positivism, data collection using in depth interview.
The results of the analysis show that collaboration between stakeholders can encourage commercialization of research and development products in Kemenristekdikti. The pattern of cooperation in conducting research and development, researchers engineers not only looking toward the needs of the field of science alone but also the needs of society and the market, because taking into account the needs of the community then the product innovation produced will be approved by the industry.

"Kemajuan suatu negara terukur dari kemajuan kegiatan riset dan inovasinya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang faktor-faktor apa sajakah dalam kepemimpinan transformasional dan kognitif individu yang berpengaruh dalam penciptaan inovasi pengetahuan dan peningkatan performa riset dalam institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa tiap departemen di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia sebagai responden. Variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang diteliti meliputi Vision, Inspirational Communication, Supportive Leadership, Intelectual Stimulation dan Personal Recognition. Sedangkan variabel perilaku kognitif individu yang diteliti meliputi Norm of Reciprocity, Interpersonal Trust, Knowledge Sharing Self Efficacy dan Perceived Relative Advantage. Berdasarkan analisa data yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan karakteristik faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap inovasi pengetahuan dan performa riset pada masing-masing departemen yang diteliti.

Performance of the country is measured by its innovative research activities. This study discusses how the relationships between transformational leadership and individual cognitive to improve innovation in knowledge and research performance in educational institution. This research was conducted using Partial Least Square method by spreading the questionnaires to respondents from every research department in Engineering Faculty, Universitas Indonesia. Transformational leadership variables examined in this study are Vision, Inspirational Communication, Supportive Leadership, Intellectual Stimulation and Personal Recognition. While individual cognitive variables examined are Norm of Reciprocity, Interpersonal Trust, Knowledge Sharing Self Efficacy and Perceived Relative Advantage. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that different factors contribute the creation of knowledge innovation and research performance in each department."

"Inovasi memiliki peranan yang penting dalam organisasi karena turut berkontribusi atas keberhasilan organisasi dan memperoleh keunggulan kompetitif. Oleh karena itu, organisasi harus menyediakan kesempatan dan mendukung karyawannya untuk berinovasi. Studi mengenai perilaku organisasi menganalisis keterkaitan antara keberhasilan organisasi dalam berinovasi dan perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan serta keterikatan kerja. Penggunaan media sosial dalam berkomunikasi oleh karyawan juga terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, baik berkomunikasi tentang pekerjaan (work-related) melalui pertukaran dan saling berbagi informasi maupun untuk bersosialisasi (non-work-related) dengan saling memberikan dukungan dan menumbuhkan perasaan menyatu terhadap organisasi (identifikasi organisasional). Dengan tren hybrid working dan tantangan yang diberikan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media sosial, dukungan sosial, dan identifikasi organisasional terhadap keterikatan kerja dan perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 385 karyawan berasal dari berbagai bidang industri di Indonesia. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan Amos 22 dan menunjukkan hasil bahwa keterikatan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif dan memediasi pengaruh dukungan sosial dan identifikasi organisasional terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Dengan demikian organisasi perlu memperhatikan dukungan terhadap karyawan dan persepsi karyawan terhadap keanggotaan dirinya di organisasi sehingga akan berdampak positif pada perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan.

Innovation plays critical roles in organizations for its contribution to organization successes through sustaining business as well as gaining competitive advantage. Therefore, an organization must provide and support its employees to innovate. Studies on organizational behavior showed the relationship between organizational success in innovation and employees' innovative work behavior as well as work engagement. Usage of social media for communication by employees has also shown its influence on employee performance, whether communicating about work (work-related) through exchanging and sharing information or for socializing (non-work-related) by providing mutual support and fostering a sense of belonging to the organization ( organizational identification). With the hybrid working trend and the challenges presented, this study aims to analyze the effect of using social media, social support, and organizational identification on employee work engagement and innovative work behavior. 385 employees from various industrial sectors in Indonesia were involved in this study and the data collected were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method in Amos 22. The result showed that work engagement has a positive and significant influence on innovative work behavior and mediates the effect of social support and organizational identification on innovative work behavior. Thus, organizations need to pay attention to support for employees and employees' perceptions of their membership in the organization"
