"Pendidikan profesi apoteker menjadi faktor yang sangat penting dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan apoteker yang professional. Apoteker sebagai salah satu pelaku pelayanan kesehatan, khususnya pelayanan kefarmasian harus memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang handal, serta integritas etika/moral untuk mendukung terwujudnya pelayanan kefarmasian yang bermutu. Dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme apoteker, baik calon apoteker maupun apoteker yang telah praktik, diperlukan pelatihan terstruktur yang dapat membangun pengetahuan, keterampilan serta sikap professional sebagai seorang apoteker yang berkualitas. Pelatihan terstruktur yang dimaksud dalam dokumen ini dapat dalam bentuk praktik kerja apoteker (PKPA) bagi calon apoteker. Pada kali ini, Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Kalbio Global Medika periode Januari – Februari 2022 dan Apotek Roxy Sawangan periode Mei 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di bidang industri farmasi dan pelayanan apotek, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Professional pharmacist education is a very important factor in an effort to meet the needs of professional pharmacists. Pharmacists, as one of the actors in health services, especially pharmaceutical services, must have reliable knowledge and skills, as well as ethical and moral integrity to support the realization of quality pharmaceutical services. In order to increase the professionalism of pharmacists, both prospective pharmacists and pharmacists who have built a career, structured training is needed that can be used for knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes as a qualified pharmacist. The structured training referred to in this document can be in the form of pharmacist work (PKPA) for prospective pharmacists. This time, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice was held at PT Kalbio Global Medika for the January–February 2022 period and at Roxy Sawangan Pharmacy for the May 2022 period. Through the PKPA process in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy services, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain insight, knowledge, skills, and appropriate experience to perform pharmaceutical work."

"Apoteker memiliki peran kunci dalam beragai aspek obat, mulai dari penemuan, produksi, hingga penyerahan obat ke tangan konsumen. Calon apoteker dituntut memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman sebelum terlibat langsung dalam praktik kefarmasian. Salah satu bentuk peningkatan keterampilan professional apoteker adalah Praktik Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) yang dirancang untuk membantu calon apoteker memahami dan mengembangkan kompetensinya. PT. Kalbio Global Medika, Puskesmas Kecamatan Jagakarsa dan Apotek Kimia Farma Dramaga merupakan salah satu instansi yang bekerja sama dengan Program Studi Profesi Apoteker Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia agar calon apoteker dapat menjalankan PKPA pada periode periode Februari – Mei 2022. Melalui PKPA di apotek, Puskesmas, dan industri tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan praktek kefarmasian.

Pharmacists play a crucial role in all facets of the drug industry, from drug discovery to production to consumer delivery. Before directly engaging in pharmaceutical practice, aspiring pharmacists must have insight, knowledge, skills, and experience. The Professional Pharmacist Practice Act (PKPA), which is intended to help prospective pharmacists recognize and enhance their competencies, is one method of enhancing pharmacists' professional skills. PT. Kalbio Global Medika, Jagakarsa District Health Center, and Kimia Farma Dramaga Pharmacy are among the institutions that work collaboratively with the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia prospective pharmacists can take the PKPA examination between February and May 2022. Prospective pharmacists must acquire the necessary insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to practice pharmacy through PKPA in pharmacies, health centers, and these industries."

"Profesi Apoteker merupakan pendidikan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan karir seorang apoteker. Sebelum mengaplikasikan keilmuan di bidang kefarmasian secara profesioanl, seorang apoteker perlu menempun pendidikan profesi untu mendapat gelar apoteker. Kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) merupakan salah satu kegiatan pada perkuliahan profesi apoteker yang bertujuan mengasah kemampuan praktik calon apoteker sebelum terjun langsung ke dunia kerja sebagai seorang apoteker yang profesional. Kegiatan PKPA ini dilaksanakan di Apotek Kimia Farma Pekapuran periode Januari 2022 dan PT. Kalbio Global Medika periode Maret – April 2022. Melalui kegiatan ini, penulis berharap ilmu yang didapatkan selama PKPA dapat menjadi bekal yang baik untuk menjadi seorang apoteker yang profesional, baik di pelayanan masyarakat maupun industry farmasi.

The pharmacist profession degree is a very important education in the career development of a pharmacist. Before applying knowledge in the field of pharmacy professionally, a pharmacist needs to undergo professional education to get a pharmacist degree. The Pharmacist Professional Practice Activity (PKPA) is one of the activities in the pharmacist profession curriculum which aims to hone the practice skills of prospective pharmacists before going directly into the world of work as a professional pharmacist. This PKPA activity was carried out at Kimia Farma Pekapuran Pharmacy for the January 2022 period and PT. Kalbio Global Medika for the period March – April 2022. Through this activity, the author hopes that the knowledge gained during PKPA can be a good provision to become a professional pharmacist, both in community service and the pharmaceutical industry."

"Industri farmasi adalah badan usaha yang memiliki izin sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan untuk melakukan kegiatan pembuatan obat dan/atau bahan obat. Dalam mendirikan industri farmasi harus sesuai dengan persyaratan yang terdapat pada Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB). CPOB adalah cara pembuatan obat dan/atau bahan obat yang bertujuan untuk memastikan agar mutu obat dan/atau bahan obat yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan persyaratan dan tujuan penggunaan. Oleh karena itu sebuah industri farmasi memerlukan sertifikat CPOB yang merupakan dokumen sah sebagai bukti bahwa industri farmasi telah memenuhi persyaratan CPOB dalam membuat obat dan/atau bahan obat. Salah satu hal penting yang terdapat dalam pedoman CPOB adalah personalia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dalam sebuah industri farmasi dibutuhkan personel yang terkualifikasi agar dapat menghasilkan produk farmasi yang mutunya terjamin. PT Kalbio Global Medika sebagai salah satu industri farmasi memerlukan personel yang terkualifikasi, yang dibuktikan melalui laporan kualifikasi personel. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui data-data penting apa saja yang dibutuhkan dalam membuat laporan kualifikasi personel untuk departemen Pemastian Mutu dan Produksi PT Kalbio Global Medika. Melalui tugas khusus ini, diketahui hal-hal yang penting dalam menyusun laporan kualifikasi personel untuk departemen Pemastian Mutu dan Produksi, yaitu diperlukannya data matriks kompetensi, data pelatihan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang dibutuhkan, dan tingkatan level yang didapatkan oleh personel tiap-tiap jabatan.

Pharmaceutical industry is a business entity that has a license in accordance with law statutes to carry out drug and/or drug substance manufacturing activities. In establishing a pharmaceutical industry, it must comply with the requirements contained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). GMP is a way of making drugs and/or medicinal ingredients that aims to ensure that the quality of drugs and/or medicinal ingredients produced is in accordance with the requirements and intended use. Therefore a pharmaceutical industry requires a GMP certificate which is a valid document as proof that the pharmaceutical industry has met GMP requirements in making drugs and/or medicinal ingredients. One of the important things contained in the GMP guidelines is personnel. Based on this, in a pharmaceutical industry, qualified personnel are needed in order to produce pharmaceutical products with guaranteed quality. PT Kalbio Global Medika as one of the pharmaceutical industries requires qualified personnel, proven through personnel qualification reports. The purpose of this research is to find out what important data is needed in preparing a personnel qualification report for the Quality Assurance and Production department of PT Kalbio Global Medika. Through this research, it is known that important things in compiling personnel qualification reports for the Quality Assurance and Production department such as competency matrix data, required Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training data, and the levels obtained by personnel for each position."

"Kualitas air yang baik diperlukan untuk memastikan keamanan dan kemurnian produk farmasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai kegiatan pemantauan mikrobiologi dari sampel air yang merupakan komponen penting dalam industri farmasi. Kualitas air yang baik diperlukan untuk memastikan keamanan dan kemurnian produk farmasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel air, inokulasi kultur mikroba, pewarnaan gram, dan identifikasi mikroorganisme dengan API 20E kit. Proses pemantauan dilakukan secara rutin untuk mendeteksi potensi kontaminasi mikroba. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sampel WFI mengandung mikroba Burkholderia cepacia dengan probabilitas 97%. Burkholderia cepacia adalah bakteri patogen yang dapat menyebabkan infeksi serius pada individu dengan sistem imun yang lemah. Untuk mencegah kontaminasi mikroba, direkomendasikan pengaliran loop sirkulasi secara terus menerus dan penghindaran dead legs yang dapat menyebabkan pembentukan biofilm. Disarankan pula penggunaan metode identifikasi mikrobiologis lain untuk meningkatkan akurasi hasil. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemantauan kualitas air dalam industri farmasi untuk memastikan produk yang aman dan berkualitas tinggi serta menjaga kesehatan konsumen.

Good quality water is essential to ensure the safety and purity of pharmaceutical products. This research was conducted as part of microbiological monitoring activities on water samples, which are crucial components in the pharmaceutical industry. High-quality water is necessary to ensure the safety and purity of pharmaceutical products. The research utilized methods such as water sample collection, microbial culture inoculation, gram staining, and microorganism identification using the API 20E kit. Monitoring processes were routinely carried out to detect potential microbial contamination. Analysis results indicated that the WFI sample contained Burkholderia cepacia with a probability of 97%. Burkholderia cepacia is a pathogenic bacterium capable of causing serious infections in individuals with weakened immune systems. To prevent microbial contamination, continuous circulation loop flushing and avoidance of dead legs that can lead to biofilm formation are recommended. Additionally, using alternative microbiological identification methods is advised to improve result accuracy. This study underscores the importance of monitoring water quality in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure safe, high-quality products and protect consumer health."

"Proses perilisan bahan baku di industri farmasi memiliki peranan penting dalam memastikan bahwa bahan baku yang digunakan dalam produksi obat telah memenuhi persyaratan kualitas sebelum digunakan. Apoteker bertanggung jawab untuk memastikan bahwa bahan baku memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditetapkan oleh otoritas regulasi dan standar industri terkait. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan bahwa natrium hidroksida memenuhi spesifikasi untuk dirilis dan menelaah proses perilisan bahan baku natrium hidroksida di PT. Kalbio Global Medika agar dapat digunakan dalam proses produksi. Hasil pengujian NaOH menunjukkan pemerian berupa pelet berwarna putih, larutan yang terbentuk jernih dan tidak berwarna, sangat mudah larut dalam air dan mudah larut dalam etanol 96%, pH NaOH ≥11, identifikasi sodium menunjukkan hasil positif, hasil penetapan kadar berada pada rentang 97,0 – 100,5%, dan hasil uji cemaran karbonat sesuai dengan spesifikasi yaitu ≤2,0%. Dari hasil yang sudah diperoleh, bahan baku Natrium Hidroksida dengan nomor GRN B/23/01/0018, beserta proses penanganan dan perilisan bahan baku tersebut sudah sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang tertera dalam European Pharmacopeia dan prosedur CPOB. Hasil pengujian diteruskan ke Supervisor dan Manager QC sebagai proses perilisan produk.

The raw material release process in the pharmaceutical industry plays a crucial role in ensuring that the raw materials used in drug production meet the quality requirements before use. Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring that the raw materials meet the quality standards set by regulatory authorities and relevant industry standards. The aim of this study is to ensure that sodium hydroxide meets the specifications for release and to evaluate the raw material release process at PT. Kalbio Global Medika for use in production. The testing results of NaOH indicate that it appears as white pellets, forms a clear and colorless solution, is highly soluble in water and ethanol 96%, has a pH of NaOH ≥11, shows positive identification for sodium, has a content determination within the range of 97.0 - 100.5%, and meets the specified carbonate impurity test limit of ≤2.0%. Based on the obtained results, the raw material sodium hydroxide with GRN number B/23/01/0018, along with the handling and release process of the raw material, complies with the specifications stated in the European Pharmacopoeia and CPOB procedures. The testing results are forwarded to the QC Supervisor and Manager as part of the product release process."

"Departemen Quality Control (QC) PT Kalbio Global Medika merupakan departemen yang bertanggung jawab dalam semua keputusan terkait dengan mutu produk. Lamanya waktu pengujian terhadap bahan baku, produk jadi, maupun bahan kemas yang dilakukan oleh Departemen QC perlu dianalisis sebagai target kinerja dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan sebagai informasi perkiraan waktu untuk departemen yang mengajukan permintaan untuk analisis ke departemen QC. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan analisis data terhadap lamanya waktu pengujian mulai dari penerimaan sampel hingga release sampel yang dilakukan oleh departemen QC. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data-data pengujian periode Januari hingga Oktober 2022. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk analisis tiap jenis sampel oleh departemen QC berbeda-beda. Pengujian rutin yang dilakukan oleh departemen QC meliputi pengujian untuk produk jadi, pemantauan lingkungan, serta sampel pembersihan. Pada periode Januari hingga Oktober 2022, produk jadi membutuhkan waktu pengujian hingga rilis selama 22 hari, pemantauan lingkungan membutuhkan waktu selama 17 hari, serta sampel pembersihan membutuhkan waktu selama 21 hari. Departemen QC telah mengalami peningkatan efisiensi kerja yang salah satunya ditandai dengan parameter lead time pengujian sampel hingga release yang cenderung mengalami penurunan pada periode Januari hingga Oktober 2022.

The Quality Control (QC) Department of PT Kalbio Global Medika is the department responsible for all decisions related to product quality. The length of time for testing raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials carried out by the QC Department needs to be analyzed as a performance target with the aim of knowing and as information on estimated time for the department submitting requests for analysis to the QC department. The method used is to analyze data on the length of time the test starts from receiving the sample to releasing the sample which is carried out by the QC department. The data analysis process was carried out by collecting test data for the period from January to October 2022. The time required for the analysis of each type of sample by the QC department varies. Routine tests performed by the QC department include testing for finished products, environmental monitoring, and cleaning samples. Between January and October 2022, finished products took 22 days from testing to release, 17 days for environmental monitoring, and 21 days for cleaning samples. The QC department has experienced an increase in work efficiency, one of which is marked by the lead time parameter of sample testing to release which tends to decrease in the period January to October 2022."

Apoteker berperan dalam menjamin praktik keframasiaan, baik untuk menjamin kualitas obat di Industri farmasi maupun pelayanan di bidang klinis seperti apotek. Apoteker harus berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam melakuakan praktik kefarmasiaan tersebut, maka dari itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk melakukan praktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Hal ini penting bagi calon apoteker untuk mengetahui peran apoteker serta untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan menambah pengalaman. Praktik kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Kalbio Global Medika periode Januari - Februari 2022 dan Apotek Kimia Farma Pasar Anyar Tangerang periode April 2022, melalui proses PKPA ini, calon apoteker diharapkan mendapatkan wawasan, pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dapat berguna untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasiaan kedepannya.

"Tidaklah cukup bila produk jadi hanya sekedar lulus dari serangkaian pengujian, tetapi yang lebih penting adalah bahwa mutu harus dibentuk ke dalam produk tersebut. Salah satu penerapan aspek sistem mutu industri farmasi adalah melakukan Pengkajian Mutu Produk (PMP) atau Product Quality Review (PQR). PT Kalbio Global Medika melakukan review terhadap semua produk yang diproduksi setiap tahunnya dalam bentuk Product Quality Review salah satunya yaitu Injeksi X. Dengan penyusunan PQR ini diharapkan dapat membantu industri farmasi dalam menganalisa tren terhadap aspek-aspek penting produksi di setiap prosesnya. Penyusunan laporan PQR dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data yang sesuai dari Batch Record produk Injeksi X yang kemudian menginputnya ke dalam database. Setelah itu, dilakukan pengkajian melalui aplikasi statistik Minitab sehingga didapatkan analisa tren. Adapun penyusunannya mengacu pada Prosedur Tetap dari Departemen Quality Assurance yang berlaku di PT Kalbio Global Medika. PQR sendiri memuat informasi Critical Process Parameter, In Process Control, Critical Quality Attributes, dan hasil uji stabilitas produk Injeksi X. Dengan dibuatnya PQR yang rutin setiap tahunnya, sebuah industri farmasi dapat menetapkan tindakan perbaikan untuk menjaga konsistensi mutu dan kualitas dari masing-masing produk.

By making routine PQRs every year, a pharmaceutical industry can determine corrective actions to maintain consistent quality and quality of each product."
