"Latar belakang tesis ini adalah berdasarkan tuntutan bagi anggota kepolisian dalam menjalankan tugasnya sehari-hari, dalam proses menyeimbangkan antara sisi pekerjaan (kehidupan kerja) dengan sisi kehidupan pribadi/rumah tangga (kehidupan non-kerja), di mana kontekstual keseimbangan tersebut disebut dengan istilah work life balance. Kajian work life balance dalam tesis ini dilihat dari 3 (tiga) variabel yaitu peran kerja, beban kerja dan praktik manajemen, di mana ketiganya memiliki korelasi yang erat dengan tercapainya fungsi keseimbangan tersebut.
Tujuan tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, yang dikaitkan pula dengan fungsi-fungsi operasional yang ada pada anggota kepolisian diantaranya adalah Reserse, Intel, Binmas, Sabhara, Lantas dan Brimob.
Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam tesis ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui desain penelitian secara eksplanatif terhadap uji hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan berdasarkan kajian literatur dan penelitian empiris sebelumnya terhadap ketiga variabel yang telah disebutkan.
Hasil temuan penelitian dalam tesis ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari ketiga variabel tersebut, variabel peran kerja dan praktik manajemen memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja. Sementara itu, variabel beban kerja memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap work life balance. Dari hipotesis tersebut, semakin anggota kepolisian di Polda Metro Jaya diberikan peran kerja dan praktik manajemen yang baik, maka keseimbangan kehidupan kerjanya akan semakin baik pula, dan semakin beban kerjanya ditambah maka keseimbangan kehidupan kerjanya akan semakin buruk.
Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi yang signifkan terhadap beban kerja, praktik manajemen dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja antara fungsi unit Reserse, Intelkam, Binmas, Brimob, Sabhara dan Lantas, melainkan signifikansi perbedaannya adalah pada variabel peran kerja antara fungsi-fungsi tersebut.

The background of this thesis is based on the demands for members of the police in carrying out their daily duties, in the process of balancing the work side (work life) with the personal/home life side (non-work life), in which contextual balance is referred to as work life balance. The study of work life balance in this thesis can be seen from 3 (three) variables, namely work role, workload and management practices, in which all the three variable have a close correlation with the achievement of the balance function.
The purpose of this thesis is to find out which variables have the most influence on work life balance, which is also related to the operational functions that exist in police officers including Reserse, Intel, Binmas, Sabhara, Lantas and Brimob.
The research method that are used in this thesis referred to quantitative approach, through an explanatory research design to test hypotheses that have been formulated based on literature review and previous empirical research on the three variables that have been mentioned.
The results of the research findings in this thesis can be concluded that from the three variables, work role and management practices variables have a positive influence on work life balance. Meanwhile, the workload variable has a negative effect on work life balance. From this hypothesis, the more police officers at Polda Metro Jaya are given work role and good management practices, then the better their work life balance will be, and the more workload they add, then the worse their work life balance will be.
Overall, it can be concluded that there are no significant differences in perceptions of workload, management practices and work life balance between the functions of the Reserse, Intel, Binmas, Sabhara, Lantas and Brimob, but the significance of the difference is in the work role variables between these functions.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Quality of work life, Quality of work life (X2), dan kinerja anggota pada Anggota Biro Sumber Daya Manusia di Polda Metro Jaya. Tujuan penelitian ini bersifat eksplanatory untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Quality of work life terhadap Quality of work life (X2); menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Quality of work life terhadap kinerja anggota; menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Quality of work life (X2) terhadap kinerja anggota; serta menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Quality of work life terhadap kinerja anggota melalui Quality of work life (X2) sebagai variabel mediasi.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengayaan data dari kualitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei dimana jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 112 anggota Anggota Biro Sumber Daya Manusia di Polda Metro Jaya. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden untuk selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan software analisis SEM AMOS 22 untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel. Skala Likert dalam pengukuran kuisioner menggunakan 1-5 skala. Pengayaan data kualitatif dibangun berdasarkan hasil awal data kuantitatif untuk membuktikan, memperdalam dan memperluas data kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan hipotesis yang diusulkan dapat diterima. Adapun faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh secara pengaruh positif yaitu Quality of work life terhadap Quality of work life (X2); Quality of work life terhadap kinerja anggota; Quality of work life (X2) terhadap kinerja anggota; dan Quality of work life terhadap kinerja anggota melalui Quality of work life (X2) yang artinya Quality of work life (X2) mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara Quality of work life terhadap kinerja anggota.

This research was conducted to examine the effect of Quality of work life, quality of work life, and member performance on Members of the Human Resources Bureau at Polda Metro Jaya. The purpose of this study is explanatory in nature to test and analyze the influence of the Quality of work life on the quality of work life; examine and analyze the effect of Quality of work life on member performance; examine and analyze the influence of the quality of work life on the performance of members; as well as testing and analyzing the effect of Quality of work life on member performance through the quality of work life as a mediating variable.
The method used in this research is quantitative research with qualitative data enrichment. Quantitative research using the survey method where the number of respondents in this study consisted of 112 members of the Human Resources Bureau at Polda Metro Jaya. Sampling using the saturated sample method where the entire population is used as a sample in the study. The data collection technique used in this study was to use questionnaires which were distributed to respondents to be further analyzed using the SEM AMOS 22 analysis software to determine the effect between variables. The Likert scale in measuring questionnaires uses 1-5 scales. Qualitative data enrichment is built on the initial results of quantitative data to prove, deepen and expand quantitative data.
The results of the research show that the entire proposed hypothesis can be accepted. The factors that have a positive influence are the Quality of work life on the quality of work life; Quality of work life on member performance; quality of work life on member performance; and Quality of work life on member performance through quality of work life, which means that quality of work life can be an intervening variable between Quality of work life on member performance.

"Fokus penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh dukungan organisasi, stress kerja dan kecerdasan emosional anggota pada bidang operasional di Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh simultan dan parsial dukungan organisasi, stres kerja, dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja anggota bidang operasional Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan. Sebanyak 190 responden dari anggota bidang operasional Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini untuk memberikan data melalui kuesioner yang mencakup aspek-aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, dukungan organisasi, stres kerja, dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja (F =224.490, p < 0,05). Artinya, gabungan variabel-variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap variasi dalam keseimbangan kehidupan kerja anggota bidang operasional. Secara parsial, hasil menunjukkan bahwa dukungan organisasi (t hitung=2.814, p < 0,05), stress kerja (t hitung = 3,043, sig < 0,05), dan kecerdasan emosional (t hitung = 5.212, p < 0,05), dan masing-masing variabel memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja anggota bidang operasional Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kontribusi masing-masing faktor terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, memberikan dasar bagi manajemen Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan untuk mengembangkan strategi yang lebih terfokus untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota bidang operasional melalui perbaikan dukungan organisasi, penanganan stress kerja dan pemberdayaan kecerdasan emosional.

The focus of this research is on the influence of organizational support, job stress, and emotional intelligence of members in the operational field at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan). This study aims to evaluate the simultaneous and partial effects of organizational support, job stress, and emotional intelligence on the work-life balance of operational field members at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police. A total of 190 respondents from the operational field of the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police participated in this study, providing data through a questionnaire covering these aspects. This research utilized a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The research findings indicate that simultaneously, organizational support, job stress, and emotional intelligence have a significant influence on work-life balance (F = 224.490, p < 0.05). This means that the combination of these variables significantly contributes to the variation in the work-life balance of operational field members. Partially, the results show that organizational support (t-value = 2.814, p < 0.05), job stress (t-value = 3.043, sig < 0.05), and emotional intelligence (t-value = 5.212, p < 0.05) each have a significant influence on the work-life balance of operational field members at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police.These findings provide a deeper understanding of the contribution of each factor to work-life balance, laying the foundation for the management of the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police to develop more focused strategies to enhance the well-being of operational field members through improving organizational support, addressing job stress, and empowering emotional intelligence."

Kepuasan kerja berkaitan dengan kepercayaan, Polri sebagai lembaga disektor publik yang memiliki peran dan fungsi sangat penting dalam memberikan pelayanan, dituntut untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik sehingga mendapatkan kepercayaan publik yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh quality of work life dan work life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja dan perceived organizational support, selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran perceived organizational support sebagai variabel intervening dalam memediasi pengaruh quality of work life dan work life balance terhadap variabel kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 290 anggtota Polres Tulang Bawang. Peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung dan secara online. Dalam penelitian analisis dilakukan menggunakan structural equation modelling (SEM) melalui perangkat Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life dan work life balance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan perceived organizational support. Perceived organizational support berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja selain itu dari efek mediasi ditemukan bahwa quality of work life dan work life balance melalui perceived organizational support memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil temuan ini menjelaskan bahwa seluruh hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, selain itu hasil penelitian ini juga menyoroti bahwa peningkatan quality of work life dan work life balance dapat dilakukan melalui program-program yang berkaitan dengan family friendly. Polres Tulang Bawang dapat meningkatkan perceived organizational support melalui komunikasi terbuka dan memberikan informasi terkini, Program pengembangan karir dan pelatihan keterampilan anggota.

The human resources of an organization represent a significant factor in its capacity to achieve its stated objectives. The acquisition of high-quality human resources within the organization can be facilitated by enhancing the job satisfaction of its members. Job satisfaction is related to trust. As an institution in the public sector that plays a crucial role in service provision, Polri is expected to provide high-quality services in order to gain public trust. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of quality of work life and work-life balance on job satisfaction and perceived organizational support. Additionally, the study aims to analyze the role of perceived organizational support as an intervening variable in mediating the effect of quality of work life and work-life balance on job satisfaction variables. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sample for this study consisted of 290 members of the Polres Tulang Bawang. The researchers distributed questionnaires in both direct and online formats. The research involved the application of structural equation modeling (SEM) through the Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0 tool for the purpose of analysis. The findings of this study indicate that quality of work life and work-life balance have a significant effect on job satisfaction and perceived organizational support. The perception of organizational support has a notable impact on job satisfaction. Furthermore, the mediation effect indicates that the quality of work life and work-life balance, as mediated by perceived organizational support, have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The findings of this study indicate that all of the hypotheses proposed in this study are accepted. Additionally, the results of this study demonstrate that improving the quality of work life and work-life balance can be achieved through the implementation of programs designed to enhance family- friendly policies. Polres Tulang Bawang can enhance the perception of organizational support by fostering open communication and the dissemination of timely information, implementing career development programs, and offering member skills training."

"Meningkatnya fenomena kelelahan emosional yang dialami karyawan milenial di situasi pandemi Covid-19, mayoritas disebabkan oleh penyesuaian sistem kerja yang dilakukan organisasi. Penyesuaian ini berdampak pada peningkatan jam dan beban kerja yang signifikan. Penelitian korelasional ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara beban kerja kuantitatif dengan kelelahan emosional yang dimediasi oleh keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan. Partisipan penelitian merupakan karyawan milenial yang berdomisili di Indonesia dan telah bekerja di suatu perusahaan selama minimal enam bulan. Diperoleh sebanyak 185 data partisipan yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi dengan metode Hayes PROCESS Macro Model 4. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung beban kerja terhadap kelelahan emosional yang dimediasi oleh keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan, b = 0,26, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,40, 1,10]. Ditemukan juga pengaruh tidak langsung dalam model mediasi, b = 0,13, BCa CI [0,17, 0,55], dengan 40% varians kelelahan emosional dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel prediktor dan mediator. Terakhir, ditemukan pengaruh total dari beban kerja terhadap kelelahan emosional, b = 0,39, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,72, 1,44]. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, maka hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya, semakin tinggi beban kerja yang dimiliki karyawan, maka semakin rendah kepuasan penerapan keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan yang berdampak pada meningkatnya kelelahan emosional.

The increasing phenomenon of emotional exhaustion experienced by millennial employees during Covid-19 pandemic situation mostly caused by new work system adjusted by organization. This adjustment resulted in a significantly increased working hour and workload. This correlational study conducted to analyze the relationship between workload and exhaustion mediated by work-life balance. Study participants are millennial employees who lived in Indonesia and have worked at current company for at least six months. Total of 185 participants data obtained and analyzed using regression analysis technique with Hayes PROCESS Macro Model 4. The results showed direct effect of workload on emotional exhaustion mediated by work-life balance, b = 0,26, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,40, 1,10]. An indirect effect also found in this mediation model, b = 0,13, BCa CI [0,17, 0,55], with 40% variance of emotional exhaustion explained by predictor and mediator. Finally, the total effect of workload on emotional exhaustion also found, b = 0,39, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,72, 1,44]. Based on these findings, the study hypothesis was accepted. Employee with higher workload will have lower satisfaction of work-life balance and affecting to higher level of emotional exhaustion.

"Gen Z merupakan generasi yang lahir di atas tahun 1995. Gen Z hadir dengan karakteristik yang berbeda dari angkatan sebelumnya. Hampir sebagian besar Gen Z menyadari pentingnya work life balance namun fenomena yang terjadi adalah Gen Z memiliki tingkat work-life balance terendah dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. Salah satu anteseden dari work life balance adalah boundary management. Boundary management adalah cara individu membuat batasan- batasan keterlibatan diri pada kegiatan di pekerjaan maupun non pekerjaan. Penelitian sebelumnya menemukan adanya inkonsistensi pada hubungan antara boundary management dan work life balance. Peneliti berasumsi bahwa hubungan boundary management dan work life balance dapat diperkuat dengan adanya moderasi dari perceived flexibility. Boundary manaegement menjadi lebih kuat ketika individu merasakan otonomi penuh atas pekerjaannya atau merasakan perceived flexibility yang tinggi dan pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan work life balance. Studi ini dilakukan pada 157 Gen Z. Instrumen penelitian meliputi adaptasi alat ukur Work-Life Balance, Boundary Management, dan Perceived Flexibility. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan Macro Process Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ditemukan peran moderasi perceived flexibility dalam hubungan boundary management dan work life balance pada Gen Z. Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena latar belakang pekerjaan dari sampel penelitian yang sangat beragam sehingga penelitian selanjutnya disarankan lebih berfokus pada status kepegawaian dan sektor industri yang lebih serupa.

Gen Z is a generation that born after 1995. Gen Z comes with different characteristics from the previous generation. Most of Gen Z are aware of the importance of work-life balance, but the phenomenon that occurs is that Gen Z has the lowest level of work-life balance compared to the previous generation. One of the antecedents of work life balance is boundary management. Boundary management is a way for individuals to set limits on their involvement in activities at work and non-work. Previous research found inconsistencies in the relationship between boundary management and work life balance. The researcher assumes that the relationship between boundary management and work life balance can be strengthened by the presence of perceived flexibility. Boundary management becomes stronger when individuals feel full autonomy over their work or feel high perceived flexibility and ultimately can improve work-life balance. This study was conducted on 157 Gen Z. Research instruments include adaptation of measuring tools of Work-Life Balance, Boundary Management, and Perceived Flexibility. Hypothesis testing was carried out by the Macro Process Hayes moderation test. The results showed that there was no moderating role of perceived flexibility in the relationship between boundary management and work life balance in Gen Z. This could be due to the very diverse work background of the research sample, so that further research is suggested to focus on the employment status and work system of the sample that are more similar. "

"Organisasi dalam berbagai macam bentuk dan latar belakang senantiasa dituntut untuk terus mengikuti perubahan kebijakan dan dinamika lingkungan eksternal. Maka dari itu, diperlukan perhatian organisasi dalam mempertimbangkan faktorfaktor yang sekiranya dapat berpengaruh dalam pengambilan kebijakan seperti work-life balance, motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami pengaruh dari motivasi kerja dan work-life balance terhadap komitmen kerja serta bagaimana kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi pengaruh motivasi kerja dan work-life balance terhadap komitmen kerja pegawai Markas Besar Badan Narkotika Nasional. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data responden, diperoleh 292 data yang valid dan dapat dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara langsung, work-life balance dan motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap komitmen kerja pegawai. Namun secara tidak langsung, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara work-life balance dan motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen kerja yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Atas hal tersebut, pembuat kebijakan di Markas Besar Badan Narkotika Nasional harus menaruh perhatian terhadap work-life balance, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja dalam upaya meningkatkan komitmen kerja pegawai. Selain itu, organisasi juga perlu mempertimbangkan motivasi kerja serta work-life balance dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai.

Organizations in various forms and backgrounds are always required to continue to follow changes in policy and dynamics of the external environment. Therefore, organizational attention is needed in considering factors that could influence policy making such as work-life balance, work motivation, job satisfaction and work commitment. This research aims to explore the influence of work motivation and work-life balance on work commitment and how job satisfaction can mediate the influence of work motivation and work-life balance on the work commitment of employees at the National Narcotics Agency Headquarters. Based on the collection of respondent data, 292 valid data were obtained and further analysis could be carried out. This research found that directly, work-life balance and work motivation did not significantly influence employee work commitment. However, indirectly, there is a significant relationship between work-life balance and work motivation on work commitment which is mediated by job satisfaction. Due to this, policy makers at the National Narcotics Agency Headquarters must pay attention to work-life balance, work motivation and job satisfaction in an effort to increase employee work commitment. Apart from that, organizations also need to consider work motivation and work-life balance in increasing employee job satisfaction."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui apakah Organizational Support dapat memaksimalkan Work-life Balance dan meminimalisir dampak Job Burnout pada pekerja industri perhotelan di Jabodetabek. Terdapat empat hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam studi ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari 318 responden yang bekerja di perhotelan di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Work-life Balance memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap Job Burnout, dimana keseimbangan yang baik dapat mengurangi kelelahan kerja, terutama di industri perhotelan dengan jam kerja panjang. Organizational Support dapat memoderasi hubungan antara Work-life Balance dan Job Burnout, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak terlalu kuat. Dukungan organisasi seperti fleksibilitas jam kerja dapat membantu mengurangi kelelahan kerja. Job Burnout berpengaruh negatif terhadap Work Effort; semakin tinggi kelelahan kerja, semakin rendah upaya yang diberikan oleh karyawan, yang berdampak pada penurunan kinerja dan produktivitas. Work-life Balance memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Work Effort; keseimbangan yang baik meningkatkan upaya dan produktivitas kerja karyawan.

This study aims to determine whether Organizational Support can maximize Work-life Balance and minimize the impact of Job Burnout on hospitality industry workers in Jabodetabek. There are five hypotheses formulated in this study. Using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, this study collected data from 318 respondents working in hospitality in Jabodetabek. The results showed that Work-life Balance has a significant negative effect on Job Burnout, where a good balance can reduce work fatigue, especially in the hospitality industry with long working hours. Organizational Support can moderate the relationship between Work-life Balance and Job Burnout, although the effect is not too strong. Organizational Support such as flexible working hours can help reduce work fatigue. Job Burnout has a negative effect on Work Effort; the higher the work fatigue, the lower the effort given by employees, which has an impact on decreased performance and productivity. Work-life Balance has a significant positive effect on Work Effort; a good balance increases employee Work Effort and productivity.

"Dalam mengukur aspek kepuasan pekerja berkaitan dengan pencapaian keseimbangan waktu antara kegiatan pekerjaan dan pribadi. Industri media investment merupakan industri kreatif yang menuntut pekerjanya untuk terus berkembang sesuai dengan permintaan client. GroupM merupakan salah satu perusahaan multinasional yang bergerak dalam bidang advertising. Dimana karyawan perusahaan ini memiliki bentuk pekerjaan yang berbeda dan kemampuan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia periklanan. Kondisi semacam itu membuat tingginya minat karyawan yang berhenti bekerja. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena kepuasan pekerja merupakan indikator yang dapat menjelaskan produktivitas dan loyalitas karyawan. GroupM sebagai agensi periklanan global penting untuk mengetahui kepuasan kerja karyawan, hal tersebut dapat menjadi gambaran tentang kebutuhan pekerja. Salah satu tuntutan pekerja yang sering disuarakan adalah work-life balance, penelitian menguji hubungan WLB dengan Kepuasan Pekerja. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan GroupM yang berada dalam jabatan executive. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan quota sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2023. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang lemah antara work-life balance dengan kepuasan kerja. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yaitu 0,357. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi work-life balance yang dimiliki oleh karyawan, maka semakin tinggi kepuasan pekerja. Harapannya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi gambaran bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja (occupational wellness) dan referensi bagi penelitian kesejahteraan sosial sektor industri.

In measuring aspects of employee satisfaction, it is related to achieving a balance of time between work and personal activities. The media investment industry is a creative industry that requires its workers to continue to develop according to demand. GroupM is a multinational company operating in the field of advertising. Where the employees of this company have different forms of work and abilities that suit the needs of the advertising world. Such conditions create high interest in employees quitting their jobs. This research is important to conduct because worker satisfaction is an indicator that can explain employee productivity and loyalty. GroupM as a global advertising agency is important to know employee job satisfaction, this can be an illustration of worker needs. One of the demands of workers that is often voiced is work-life balance, research examines the relationship between WLB and Employee Satisfaction. Respondents in This research are GroupM employees who are in position as executive. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive research type. The data collection technique in this research uses quota sampling. This research was conducted in August-December 2023. The results of this research show that there is a weak positive relationship between work-life balance with job satisfaction. The correlation test results show the correlation coefficient (r) value is 0.357. This value shows that getting higher the work-life balance owned by employees, the higher employee satisfaction will be. It is hoped that the results of this research can be an illustration for companies to improve worker welfare (occupational wellness) and a reference for social welfare research in the industrial sector."
