"Latar belakang: Perawat sebagai edukator memiliki peran penting dalam edukasi manajemen diabetes. Perawat berada pada posisi yang tepat untuk mengedukasi pasien karena mendampingi pasien diabetes dengan waktu lebih banyak dibandingkan profesi lain. Edukasi merupakan tanggung jawab mendasar bagi perawat agar pasien memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menjalani hidup, cepat pulih, dan mencegah komplikasi akut serta kronis. Namun, edukasi pada pasien DM belum dikelola secara optimal karena kompetensi perawat edukator DM yang masih perlu ditingkatkan, serta jumlah perawat edukator DM di rumah sakit yang belum sebanding dengan jumlah pasien DM yang lebih banyak. Tujuan: Terbentuknya model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Perawat edukator dan literasi kesehatan pasien DM. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini terbagi dalam dalam tiga tahap penelitian. Tahap pertama menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang terdiri dari systematic review, FGD dan indepth interview, tahap kedua validasi model edukasi oleh pakar, tahap ketiga menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menguji efektiftas model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen. Hasil: Tahap pertama teridentifikasi 5 tema sebagai komponen penyusunan model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen. Tahap kedua dihasilkan model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen yang memiliki komponen; perencanaan edukasi, pengorganisasian tenaga perawat, ketenagaan Perawat, pengarahan dan pengendalian. Tahap ketiga model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen berpengaruh secara bermakna terhadap kompetensi Perawat edukator dan literasi kesehatan pasien DM (p<0,05). Simpulan: model edukasi dengan pendekatan manajemen berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kompetensi Perawat edukator dan literasi kesehatan pasien DM. Saran: Model edukasi ini dapat diaplikasikan dirumah sakit guna meningkatkan kompetensi Perawat edukator dan literasi kesehatan pasien DM.

Background: Nurses as educators play a critical role in diabetes management education. Nurses are well-positioned to educate patients due to their extended interaction time with diabetes patients compared to other professions. Education is a fundamental responsibility for nurses, enabling patients to acquire knowledge and skills to live better, recover faster, and prevent acute and chronic complications. However, education for diabetes mellitus (DM) patients has not been optimally managed due to the limited competency of nurse educators in DM care and an insufficient number of nurse educators compared to the increasing number of DM patients in hospitals. Objective: To develop an educational model with a management approach to improve the competency of nurse educators and the health literacy of DM patients. Methods: This study was conducted in three stages. The first stage utilized a qualitative approach involving systematic review, focus group discussions (FGDs), and in-depth interviews. The second stage involved expert validation of the educational model. Using a quasi-experimental design, the third stage employed a quantitative approach to test the effectiveness of the management approach-based educational model. Results: In the first stage, five themes were identified for developing the educational model with a management approach. In the second stage, an educational model with a management approach was developed, comprising education planning, nurse workforce organization, staffing, directing, and controlling. The third stage demonstrated that the educational model with a management approach significantly impacted the competency of nurse educators and the health literacy of DM patients (p<0.05). Conclusion: The educational model with a management approach significantly improves the competency of nurse educators and the health literacy of DM patients. Recommendations: This educational model can be implemented in hospitals to enhance nurse educators' competency and improve DM patients' health literacy."

"Laporan PKPA ini membahas kegiatan praktik kefarmasian di instalasi kesehatan yaitu Puskesmas Kecamatan Cengkareng. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dari managerial perbekalan farmasi hingga pelayanan klinis, serta project yang dilakukan berupa edukasi dengan media cetak tentang salah satu penyakit yang memiliki jumlah penderita tertinggi yaitu diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Kecamatan Cengkareng. Harapan setelah selesai PKPA, media cetak berupa standing banner dan leaflet dapat terus diakses oleh pasien dan meningkatkan kepatuhan, kesadaran dan taraf kesehatan masyarakat di sekitar Puskesmas Kecamatan Cengkareng.

This PKPA report discusses pharmaceutical practice activities in health center, namely the Cengkareng District Health Center. Activities carried out from managerial pharmaceutical supplies to clinical services, as well as projects carried out in the form of education with print media about one of the diseases that have the highest number of sufferers, namely diabetes mellitus at the Cengkareng District Health Center. It is hoped that after the completion of PKPA, print media in the form of standing banners and leaflets can continue to be accessed by patients and increase compliance, awareness and public health standards around the Cengkareng District Health Center."

"ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas tentang literasi informasi kader Posyandu Mandiri dan
Mandiri Plus di Kecamatan Sukmajaya Kota Depok. Tujuannya adalah untuk
menggambarkan literasi informasi kader Posyandu Mandiri dan Mandiri Plus di
Kecamatan Sukmajaya Kota Depok. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif
dengan desain studi kasus dan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan literasi informasi yang dilakukan kader
Posyandu Mandiri dan Mandiri Plus di Kecamatan Sukmajaya Kota Depok
meliputi empat hal, yaitu menentukan kebutuhan informasi, melakukan
penelusuran informasi, mengevaluasi informasi dan menggunakan informasi.
Penelitian ini menyarankan kepada kader Posyandu untuk lebih meningkatkan
literasi informasinya terutama dalam hal penelusuran informasi yang
menggunakan teknologi informasi, seperti komputer dan internet. Sedangkan
saran untuk Pemerintah Kota Depok adalah menyediakan fasilitas perpustakaan
umum di Kota Depok dan menyediakan fasilitas komputer dan internet di setiap
Posyandu.

Abstract
This undergraduate thesis discusses about information literacy Posyandu Mandiri
and Mandiri Plus cadre in Kecamatan Sukmajaya Depok City. The purpose of this
research is to describe Posyandu Mandiri and Mandiri Plus cadre in Kecamatan
Sukmajaya Depok City. The study was a qualitative research design with case
studies and sampling technique accidental sampling. The results of this study
indicate that information literacy Posyandu Mandiri and Mandiri Plus cadre in
Kecamatan Sukmajaya Depok City includes four issues, namely determine
information needs, perform a search of information, evaluating information and
using information. This study suggests to increase information literacy of cadre,
especially in terms of information retrieval using information technology, like
computers and the internet. While the suggestion for the government of Depok
City is provide public library facilities in the Depok City and provide computer
and internet facilities in every Posyandu.

"Jumlah kejadian diabetes melitus semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Pasien diabetes melitus perlu mendapatkan informasi tentang diabetes melitus minimal setelah ditegakan diagnosa. Perawat sebagai edukator bisa memberikan edukasi terhadap pasien diabetes melitus agar terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan merubah sikap pasien diabetes. The number of diabetes mellitus cases have been increasing every year. Diabetes mellitus DM patient needs to get informed about their DM lately after the patient had been diagnosed. Nurse should give the education to enhance patient knowledge and improve their attitude. Health education using modified module has benefit to support the patient in perfoming self learning. This study aimed to test the impact of education using the self instructional module to a level of knowledge and attitude about diabetes mellitus to diabetes mellitus patient type 2. This research used quasi experimental with one group pretest postest design with 29 person samples identified with diabetes mellitus type 2 diagnosis. Data were collected using questionaires. Statistic analysis was done by using wilcoxon test. The research result showed that there were differences of knowledge before and after education by self instructional module p 0,001

Di Indonesia, diabetes melitus menjadi penyebab kematian terbesar ketiga. Untuk mengurangi angka mortalitas dan morbiditas akibat komplikasi diabetes melitus, perlu dilakukan upaya manajemen diri. Salah satu faktor yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap manajemen diri adalah literasi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara literasi kesehatan dengan manajemen diri penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kota Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional pada 62 orang yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil analisis melalui uji fisher’s exact menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi kesehatan dan manajemen diri pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kota Depok (p-value = 0,510, p > α). Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk membuat program kesehatan yang meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan manajemen diri.

Diabetes mellitus is a disease that has become a worldwide concern due to the drastic increase in the number of sufferers. In Indonesia, diabetes mellitus is the third leading cause of death. To reduce mortality and morbidity due to complications of diabetes mellitus, self-management efforts need to be made. One factor that can influence self-management is health literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between health literacy and self-management of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Depok City. This study used a quantitative observational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach on 62 people selected through purposive sampling. The results of the analysis through fisher's exact test showed no significant relationship between health literacy and self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Depok City (p-value = 0.510, p> α). This study can be used as a basis for creating health programs that improve health literacy and self-management."

"Diabetes menjadi penyakit kronis dengan angka kematian yang tinggi. Tingginya angka kematian disebabkan oleh rendahnya kemampuan manajemen diri. Kemampuan manajemen diri yang rendah akibat dari kurangnya kemampuan pasien dalam mengolah informasi kesehatan yang diterima. Kemampuan mengolah informasi dapat diketahui dari tingkat melek kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara melek kesehatan dan manajemen diri diabetes melitus. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan pendekatan analisis korelasi. Sampel sebanyak 52 pasien diabetes yang merupakan anggota aktif PERSADIA cabang kota Depok. Manajemen diri diabetes melitus diukur menggunakan Summay of Diabetes Self Care Activities-Revised SDSCA dan melek kesehatan diukur menggunakan Health Literacy Questioner HLQ . Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat melek kesehatan dan kemampuan manajemen yang kurang baik. Tingkat melek kesehatan berhubungan dengan manajemen diri diabetes p=0,001; ? = 0,005 . Peningkatan tingkat melek kesehatan pada pasien diabetes melitus dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pasien tersebut dalam melakukan manajemen diri diabetes melitus. Untuk itu perlu adanya upaya dalam meningkatkan tingkat melek kesehatan salah satunya dengan pemberian edukasi.

Diabetes becomes a chronic disease with a high mortality rate. High mortality due to low self management capabilities. Low self management ability comes from lack of patient ability to process health information received. The ability to process information can be known from the health literacy level. For that reason, health literacy level is important in helping to improve the self management of diabetes mellitus. This study aims to determine the relationship between health literacy and self management diabetes melitus. The method in this research is cross sectional with shortcut of correlation analysis. Samples are 52 diabetic patients who are active members of PERSADIA branch of Depok city. Self management diabetes mellitus is measured using the Summary of Diabetes Self Care Activities Revised SDSCA and health literacy is measured using the Health Literacy Questioner HLQ . There was a relationship between diabetes mellitus self management and health literacy p 0.001 0.005 . The increased level of health literacy in patients with diabetes mellitus can help in improving the ability of these patients in self management diabetes melitus. For that, it needs an effort in improving the level of health literacy one of them with the provision of education. Based on these results the measurement of health literacy rate in patients with diabetes mellitus can help in improving the ability of these patients in self management diabetes melitus.

"Latar Belakang : Pemberian edukasi merupakan salah satu bentuk pelayanan profesional perawat dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dan peran serta keluarga dalam proses penyembuhan pasien. Terdapat perawat edukator yang kompeten sangat dibutuhkan untuk optimalisasi pemberian edukasi pada pasien dan keluarga. Penting mengenali kendala yang terjadi di perawat edukator, motivasi, dan kontribusi pengalaman terhadap kualitas edukasi.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman perawat edukator dalam memberikan edukasi pada pasien dan keluarga.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada perawat edukator dengan jumlah dua belas partisipan yang direkrut secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan proses FGD yang dilakukan secara dua kali dengan menggunakan wawancara semiterstruktur, setiap pelaksanaan FGD diikuti oleh enam partisipan. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk analisis data, dan data disajikan menggunakan pohon tematik. Daftar periksa kriteria konsolidasi untuk pelaporan penelitian kualitatif (COREQ) digunakan sebagai pedoman pelaporan penelitian.
Hasil : Pada penelitian ditemukan enam tema : (i) Harapan perbaikan kebijakan, adanya pengakuan, dan kompensasi, (ii) Perlunya kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana, (iii) Kesibukan dan keterbatasan waktu, (iv) Berbagai kendala yang ditemui dari sisi pasien dan keluarga, (v) Pentingnya pelibatan keluarga, (vi) Sadar terhadap peran.
Kesimpulan : Perbaikan kebijakan berkaitan dengan sistem pelaksanaan perawat edukator, mengenali kendala yang dihadapi, melengkapi sarana dan prasarana, dan pelibatan keluarga akan memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kualitas dalam pemberian edukasi.

Background : The provision of education is one form of professional service for nurses to improve the quality of life of patients and the role of families in the patients healing process. A competent nurse educator is needed to optimize the provision of education to patients and families. It is essential to recognize the obstacles that occur in nurse educators, motivation, and the contribution of experience to the quality of education.
Objective : This study aims to explore the experience of nurse educators in providing education to patients and families.
Methods : This study used a descriptive qualitative design. This research was conducted on nurse educators with a total of twelve participants recruited by purposive sampling. The FGD process collected the data, which was conducted twice using semi-structured interviews; six participants attended each FGD. Thematic analysis was used for data analysis, and data were presented using thematic trees. The consolidated criteria checklist for qualitative research reporting (COREQ) was used as a research reporting guide.
Results : Six themes were identified: (i) Hoping for policies, recognition, and compensation, (ii) The need for completeness of facilities and infrastructure, (iii) Busyness and time constraints, (iv) Various obstacles encountered by the patient and family side, (v) The importance of involving the family, and (vi) Being aware of the role.
Conclusion : Policy improvements related to the nurse educator implementation the system, recognizing the obstacles faced, equipping facilities and infrastructure, and involving families will affect improving the quality of providing education

"ABSTRAK
Praktik residensi keperawatan medikal bedah merupakan bagian dari proses pendidikan yang berfokus pada pengembangan ketrampilan klinik, khususnya pada area respirasi di RSUP Persahabatan Jakarta. Peran yang diterapkan sebagai pemberi asuhan keperawatan, edukator, peneliti, dan inovator. Peran sebagai pemberi asuhan keperawatan dengan mengelola 30 pasien gangguan sistem respirasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan model konsep teori Virginia Henderson. Masalah keperawatan yang sering muncul yaitu ketidakefektifan bersihan jalan napas. Peran sebagai peneliti ditunjukkan dalam penerapan evidence based nursing practice berupa penerapan breathing retraining untuk mengurangi sesak napas pada pasien kanker paru. Dan peran sebagai inovator dan edukator yaitu melakukan pendidikan kesehatan dengan diskusi interaktif kelompok untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi serta telenursing dengan sms reminder untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien tuberkulosis di poliklinik paru.ABSTRACT

Residents based their practice on Henderson Nursing Theory with role modes as care provider, educator, researcher, and innovator. Role as a care provider was held on 30 cases with Henderson theory approach. The main nursing problem found during the clinical practice was ineffective airway clearance. Role as a researcher was conducted through clinical research which investigates the effectiveness breathing retraining to minimize dyspnea. "Literasi kesehatan merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengakses, memahami, menilai dan menerapkan informasi kesehatan untuk membuat keputusan kesehatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi kesehatan memiliki hubungan terhadap bagaimana seseorang menerima informasi kesehatan sehingga berkaitan dengan status kesehatan seseorang. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran literasi kesehatan mahasiswa program sarjana reguler tingkat pertama Universitas Indonesia. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Sampel yang terkumpul adalah 373 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia tingkat pertama pada 14 fakultas. Literasi kesehatan diukur menggunakan European Health Literacy Survey Question 16 HLS-EU Q16 secara online.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai literasi kesehatan mahasiswa UI tingkat pertama adalah 2.91 dari skala 0-4 yang jika di presentasekan mencapai 72.8 . Domain pencegahan penyakit memiliki nilai literasi terendah, sedangkan domain yang memiliki nilai literasi tinggi adalah domain pelayanan kesehatan. Fakultas dengan nilai literasi tertinggi adalah Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat sementara fakultas dengan nilai literasi terendah adalah Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka diperlukan pembuatan program intervensi peningkatan literasi kesehatan pada mahasiswa UI terutama pada domain pencegahan penyakit dan lebih dimasifkkan di fakultas non rumpun ilmu kesehatan.

Health literacy is defined as an individual rsquo s ability to access, understand, assess, and apply health information to make healthy decisions in daily life. Health literacy has a correlation with how an individual receives health information, therefore it also correlates with the individuals health status. Thus, this research has a purpose of assessing the description of health literation in first year college students ofregular bachelor program in Universitas Indonesia. The method used in this research was cross sectional. The acquired samples were 373 first year students of Universitas Indonesia from 14 faculties. Health literation was measured using European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire 16 HLS EU Q16 through an online survey.
Results showed that the average value of health literacy in Universitas Indonesia first year students is 2.91 from a scale of 0 4, or 72,8. Disease prevention domain has the lowest health literacy value, while the health care domain has the highest health literacy value. The faculty with the highest health literacy value is the Faculty of Health Sciences, while the lowest value was obtained from the Faculty of Humanities. Based on those results, an intervention program to increase health literacy in students of Universitas Indonesia, especially in the disease prevention domain,is much needed especially in non health sciences faculties.
