Nakazawa, Donna Jackson
"n the first book of its kind, journalist Donna Jackson Nakazawa examines nearly 100 debilitating autoimmune diseases—such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, Crohn’s disease, type 1 diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis—that cause the body to destroy itself, mistakenly attacking healthy cells as the immune system fights off bacteria, viruses, and other invaders. As Nakazawa share the vivid, heartbreaking stories, including her own, of people living with these mysterious, chronic, and often hard-to-diagnose illnesses, she explores the alarming and unexpected connection between this deadly crisis and the countless environmental triggers we’re exposed to every day: heavy metals, toxins, pesticides, viruses, chemicals in the foods we eat, and more.
With the help of leading experts, Nakazawa explores revolutionary preventions, treatments, and cures emerging around the world and offers practical advice for protecting your immune system and reducing your risk of autoimmune disease in the future."

Drug Therapy Monitoring (DTM) is a critical activity conducted by Pharmacists to ensure the safety, effectiveness, and rationality of drug therapy for patients. DTM plays a role in improving patient therapy effectiveness and reducing the risk of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) (Ministry of Health, 2016). At Tarakan Regional General Hospital (RSUD Tarakan), DTM was performed on Mr. S, diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA) and Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB), two complex medical conditions. AIHA, characterized by rare hemolysis due to autoantibodies, and Pulmonary TB, a chronic infectious disease affecting the hematologic system. Based on the DTM results, Mr. S's treatment was found appropriate for his conditions, with identification of one Drug-Related Problem (DRP), namely a moderate contraindication drug interaction. Analysis was conducted using the SOAP method to provide appropriate follow-up recommendations.

"With a focus on practical patient related issues, Autoimmune hepatitis : a guide for practicing clinicians serves as a useful practical, and much needed, resource for all those physicians presented with managing patients diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis, both acutely and over the long term. It provides a basis for clinicians to understand the etiology of the disease, as well as special circumstances where management dilemmas often arise. Emphasis is given to providing management advice of immediate use to clinicians, something not presently offered by other larger general texts. The chapters are written by those with an expertise and training in this field and include the most up to date information. The book will be of great value to Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, and Internists at all levels who see patients presenting with autoimmune hepatitis."

"The immune response of dengue fever/dengue hemorrhagic fever is a series of immunopathogenesis processes starting from viral infection to the target on monocytes and macrophages. It may consequently cause a cascade of viremia in the circulation that stimulates the afferent, efferent, and effector mechanism by the interaction of the humoral and complement system. The cascade results in inflammatory substance that will affect capillary permeability and activate coagulation factors leading to further effects on endothelial level. The mechanism involving pathogenesis of DHF/DSS is still vague. So far, a theory of heterologous infection has been developed, which explains that on second infection, there is subneutralization that induce viral replication. The autoimmune mechanism development leads to the better understanding of DHF. It also explains the autoimmune response of the viral infection, which consists of molecular mimicry, bystander activation and viral persistence. The development of the autoimmune pathomechanism is related to the role of autoantibody and endothelial dysfunction that may have role in worsening DHF.

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir mengalami gejala depresi paling banyak.

Final year students experience the most depressive symptoms. The negative stigma on campus causes students to isolate themselves from psychological assistance. Social media is an alternative to seeking mental health information. The rapid spread of information about mental health with symptoms that are more detailed can lead to self-diagnosis behavior. This study aims 1) to identify the level of information literacy in anticipating mental health self-diagnosis in final year college students as Instagram users; 2) to identify mental health self-diagnosis behavior in final year students as Instagram users; 3) to measure the hypothesis with a correlation between the level of information literacy and self- diagnosis behavior; and 4) to measure the coefficient of determination of information literacy levels and anticipation of self-diagnosis behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and a descriptive method. The data collection is carried out through questionnaires which are distributed online via WhatsApp, Line and Instagram. Respondents in this study are 289 respondents. The results show that the information literacy level of 2019 University of Indonesia final year students are in the "Good" category and the self-diagnosis behavior is at the "Strong" level. In addition, there is a positive correlation between the level of information literacy in anticipating mental health self-diagnosis. Therefore, the high level of information literacy in final year students will affect self-diagnosis behavior."
