"ABSTRAKHemiparesis pasca stroke merupakan kondisi yang memengaruhi gaya berjalan padapenderita stroke. Akupresur merupakan metode noninvasif yang prinsip kerjanyadidasarkan pada prinsip akupunktur dan telah digunakan untuk terapi pada nyeri, mualdan kekuatan pada otot ektermitas atas .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahuipengaruh terapi akupresur terhadap kekuatan otot ektermitas atas dan bawah pasien poststroke yang mengalami hemiparese. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasiexperiment, pretest-posttest with control, intervensi berupa akupresur yang dilakukandalam 14 hari dan diukur pada hari ke 10 dan hari ke 14. 30 responden berpartisipasidalam penelitian ini. Dan pengambilan sampel dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling. Uji statistik Perbedan kekuatan otot sesudah dilakukan intervensipada hari ke 10 dan 14 digunakan uji wilcoxon tes yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapatperbedaan yang bermakna pada kekuatan otot sesudah dilakukan intervensiAkupresur.(p<0,003;0,005;α 0,05). Hasil selisih kekuatan otot antra kelompok kontroldan perlakukan dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney yang menunjukkan adaperbedaan yang bermakna pada kekuatan otot antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrolsesudah dilakukan intervensi akupresur (p<0,000; α 0,05). Rekomendasi dari hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan terapi akupresur selama 14 hari lebih baik dibandingkanpada terapi selama 10 hari, dan akupresur diharapkan bisa dijadikan terapi alternativedalam peningkatan kekuatan otot pasien stroke yang mengalami hemiparese.

ABSTRACTPost-stroke hemiparesis is a condition that affects gait in stroke patients. Acupressure isa noninvasive method whose working principle is based on the principle of acupunctureand has been used to treat pain, nausea and strength in the upper ecstatic muscles. Thisstudy aims to determine the effect of acupressure therapy on muscle strength of upperand lower ecstatic post-stroke patients who have hemiparese. The design of this studyused quasi experiment, pretest-posttest with control, intervention in the form ofacupressure performed in 14 days and measured on day 10 and day 14. 30 respondentsparticipated in this study. And sampling with non probability sampling techniques.Statistical test of the difference in muscle strength after intervention on day 10 and day14 was used Wilcoxon test which showed that there was a significant difference inmuscle strength after the acupressure intervention was performed (p <0.003; 0.005; α0.05). The results of the difference in muscle strength between the control and treatmentgroups using the Mann Whitney test showed that there was a significant difference inmuscle strength between the intervention and control groups after the acupressureintervention (p <0,000; α 0,05). Recommendations from the results of this study showthat on 14 days acupressure therapy is better than 10-day therapy, and acupressure isexpected to be an alternative therapy in increasing the muscle strength of stroke patientswho experience hemiparese.

"Praktek residensi keperawatan pada sistem neurologi dituntut mampu memberikan asuhan keperawatan secara komperhensif, menerapkan Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) serta mampu berperan sebagai innovator di ruang perawatan. Pemberi asuhan keperawatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model adaptasi Roy pada pasien stroke hemoragik dan 30 pasien lainnya dengan berbagai gangguan system neurologi. Perilaku maladaptif paling banyak adalah mode adaptasi fisiologi. Penerapan EBN Pelvis Stability Training (PST) pada lima pasien stroke menunjukkan keefektifan dalam  meningkatkan kontrol pergerakan, kekuatan otot panggul, kecepatan berjalan, dan ADL melalui kestabilan keseimbangan panggul pada pasien stroke. Program inovasi keperawatan berupa penerapan program pencegahan kejadian jatuh pada pasien neurologi di rawat inap.

Nursing residency practice in the neurology system is demanded to be able to provide comprehensive nursing care, implementation of Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) and be able to act as an innovator in the treatment room. Nursing care was performed using Roy's adaptation model approach in hemorrhagic stroke patients and 30 other patients with various neurological system disorders. Maladaptive behavior is the most common mode of physiological adaptation. The implementation of EBN Pelvis Stability Training (PST) in five stroke patients showed effectiveness in increasing movement control, pelvic muscle strength, walking speed, and ADL through stability in pelvic balance in stroke patients. The nursing innovation program is in the form of a fall prevention program in neurology patients hospitalized."
