Di lokasi ini, rantai pasok bahan bakar, yangsangat dibutuhkan untuk menjalankan operasi pertambangan sering mengalamikendala karena permasalahan kondisi air sungai yang surut pada musim kemarau.Tujuan penulisan ini adalah melakukan identifikasi dan analis terhadap pemborosanyang terjadi untuk mendapatkan peluang efisiensi atas rantai pasok bahan bakaryang saat ini dilakukan. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan data primer dansekunder dengan pendekatan Value Stream Mappinguntuk melihat pemborosanyang terjadi dan melalui pola perhitungan fixed quantity model dilakukan perhitunganoptimalisasi penyimpanan dan transportasi baik secara waktu maupun biaya.Pada saat musim hujan, rantai pasok melalui sungai merupakan pilihan yang terbaikdari sisi waktu maupun biaya. Pada saat musim kemarau, alternatif melalui daratdengan total biaya terendah dan waktu tercepat akan menjadi pilihan untuk pengirimanbahan bakar ke Barut

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at PT PPN, a coal mining contractor. The case studywas carried out at the mine site Barut in Central Kalimantan. At this location, thefuel supply chain, which is necessary to run mining operations, frequently experiencedproblem due to receding river water in the dry season. The purpose of thisthesis is to identify and analyze wastes that occur to gain efficiency improvementover a fuel supply chain which is currently done. The research methodology usesprimary and secondary data with Value Stream Mapping approach to see the wastethat occurs in and through the pattern of fixed quantity calculation models to optimizestorage and transportation of both time and cost. During the rainy season, supplychain through the river is the best option in terms of time and cost. In the dryseason, alternate overland with the lowest total cost and fastest time will be thechoice for the delivery of fuel to Barut."

"Material MRO merupakan material yang diperlukan untuk menunjang kegiatan pemeliharaan, perbaikan, dan operasi dalam kegiatan operasional sebuah Perusahaan Migas. Pengelolaan persediaan MRO pada Perusahaan Migas dimaksudkan untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan material MRO agar kegiatan operasional perusahaan dapat berjalan lancar. Tantangan dalam Manajemen Persediaan adalah untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dengan maksimal dan dalam waktu yang sama berusaha untuk meminimalkan biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Jumlah permintaan terhadap material MRO yang tidak menentu pada Perusahaan Migas menjadi tantangan yang harus dihadapi. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan kebijakan persedian material MRO adalah Continuous Review System dan Periodic Review System. Metode ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan parameter-parameter kebijakan seperti jumlah pemesanan (Q), ROP, dan biaya total persediaan. Simulasi Monte Carlo digunakan untuk memperoleh range dari biaya total persediaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah model kebijakan Continuous Review dapat memberikan biaya total persediaan yang lebih rendah dari Periodic Review dengan selisih biaya total persediaan mencapai $ 76.000,00.

MRO is neccessary material to support maintenance, repair, and operation in Oil and Gas Company operational activity. The purpose of MRO inventory management ini Oil and Gas Company is to fulfill the MRO demand so the operational activity of the company can run smoothly. The challange in inventory management is to fulfill the need for MRO material and at the same time keep the cost associated at minimum. The fluctuation in MRO demand in Oil and Gas Company is one of the challenge the company have to face. Methods that can be used to calculate the inventory policy of MRO are Continuous Review System and Periodic Review System. These methods are used to calculate the parameters of the policy such as order quantity(Q), ROP, and total inventory cost. Monte Carlo Simulation is used to get the range of the total inventory cost for both of the model. The result from this research is that the Continuous Review System result in smaller total inventory cost than the Periodic Review System with margins as much as $76,000.00."
