"Film Les Garçons et Gillaume, à Table ! menceritakan tentang seorang anak laki-laki bernama Guillaume, yang dibesarkan oleh keluarganya untuk dijadikan sebagai seorang perempuan. Guillaume mengalami krisis identitas sebelum membangun pemahaman diri yang kuat mengenai siapa dirinya karena perlakuan keluarga dan masyarakat di sekitarnya. Tulisan ini membahas tahapan yang dilalui tokoh utama dalam mengkonstruksikan identitas seksualnya. Film ini dianalisis dengan melihat aspek naratif dan sinematografisnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman diri sangat penting dalam perkembangan identitas seksual dan bahwa identitas seksual adalah hasil konstruksi sosial.

The film Les Garçons et Guillaume, à Table ! tells a story about a boy named Guillaume who was raised to be a girl by his family. Guillaume had to go through an identity crisis before he developed a strong sense of who he is because of how his family and society treated him. This paper discusess the stages that the lead character went through to construct his sexual identity. Film was analyzed through its narrative and cinematographic?s aspect. The analysis shows that sense of self plays a critical role in the development of sexual identity and that sexual identity is a social construct."

"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas relasi seorang anak tokoh utama dan ayah dalam film Oorlogswinter 2008 . Film diangkat dari buku dengan judul sama, berkisah tentang seorang anak Belanda yang hidup di masa Perang Dunia II dan harus berhadapan dengan ayah yang berbeda prinsip dengannya. Konflik yang dihadapi sang anak bukan hanya dengan ayah, tetapi juga tentara Jerman dan pamannya. Berbagai konflik itu masing-masing ditunjukkan dengan pemanfaatan teknik sinematografi yang berbeda. Pembahasan relasi ayah dan anak dan konflik-konflik yang ada dalam film ini dilakukan dengan analisis struktur, fokalisasi dan sinematografi.

ABSTRACTThis journal analyzes the relationship between son main character and father in the movie Oorlogswinter 2008 . The film is adapted from a book with the same title which tells a story of a dutch boy who lives in the time of World War II and has to deal with his father who has different principles from him. The child also has conflicts with the German army and his own uncle. Each of the conflicts is shown through specific cinematography techniques. Analysis of the relation of father and son and other conflicts in the movie are conducted with structure, focalization and cinematography analysis."

"Throughout the years, scholars argue about the fidelity of adaptation works towards the original texts. However, we can see the adaptation works objectively if we see the original texts and the adaptation works autonomously. In this journal article, we can acknowledge how the concept of subversion in Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox is represented from novel into film by Wes Anderson. This journal article focuses on textual analysis by using framework from George Bluestone. From the analysis, it is revealed that Dahl's concept of subversion is not drowned out by Anderson instead he deconstructs Dahl's idea of stealing. Hence, we can recognize that two different media have different way in delivering perception to the readers."
