"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perspektif waktu dengan work engagement pada karyawan. Responden pada penelitian ini sejumlah 310 karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan BUMN. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa self report. Pengukuran perspektif waktu dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventori ZTPI dan pengukuran work engagement dilakukan dengan menggunakan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale UWES. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa perspektif waktu kategori masa depan, masa kini fatalistik dan masa lalu negatif berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan work engagement pada karyawan, sementara perspektif waktu kategori masa lalu positif dan masa kini hedonistik tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan work engagement.

The aim of this present study is to examine correlation between time perspective and work engagement among employees. Data was collected from 310 employees who work on SOE companies. This study using self report questionnaire to collect data. Time perspective was measured by using Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventori ZTPI and work engagement was measured by using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale UWES.

Results indicated that future time perspective, present fatalistic time perspective and past negative time perspective was significally correlate to work engagement among employees, meanwhile the past positive time perspective and present hedonistic time perspective has no significant correlation to work engagement."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efek dari perspektif waktu masa depan dan grit pada siswa dalam peran peran dalam organisasi siswa. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi relatif grit dan perspektif waktu masa depan pada organisasi siswa kinerja. Menggunakan teknik analisis statistik regresi berganda berganda, ini studi menggunakan sampel siswa yang merupakan administrator dari Lembaga Dakwah di XYZ Universitas (N = 92). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif waktu masa depan memiliki positif berpengaruh pada kinerja peran siswa dalam organisasi. Hasil juga menunjukkan grit itu memiliki efek positif pada kinerja peran siswa dalam organisasi. Selanjutnya, hasil menunjukkan bahwa grit memiliki varian unik pada kinerja peran siswa di organisasi di atas dan di luar perspektif waktu masa depan.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to investigate the effects of future time and grit perspectives on students in role roles in student organizations. Specifically, this study aims to look at the relative contribution of grit and future time perspectives on student organization performance. Using multiple regression statistical analysis techniques, this study uses a sample of students who are administrators of the Da'wah Institute at XYZ University (N = 92). The results showed that the perspective of future time had a positive effect on the performance of student roles in the organization. The results also showed that grit had a positive effect on the performance of student roles in the organization. Furthermore, the results show that grit has a unique variant on the performance of student roles in organizations above and beyond the perspective of future time."

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan Inventaris Perspektif Waktu milik Zimbaro untuk mengukur perspektif masa depan, Skala komitmen pada tujuan untuk mengukur komitmen pada tujuan dan Skala kinerja tugas untuk mengukur kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 245 responden yang merupakan karyawan perusahaan swasta di Jakarta dan Tangerang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif masa depan memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kinerja. Selanjutnya, komitmen pada tujuan berperan sebagai partial mediation mediasi sebagian pada hubungan antara perspektif masa depan dan kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menyumbangkan saran dalam membantu organisasi merekrut karyawan dengan perspektif masa depan PMD.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to examine the relationship between future time perspective and employee performance, and to investigate the mediating role of goal commitment on the future time perspective and employee performance relationship. This is a quantitative study which is using Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory to measure future time perspective, Goal Commitment Scale to measure goal commitment and Task Performance Scale to measure employee performance. Data were collected from 245 employees working in various private company in Jakarta and Tangerang. Result showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between future time perspective and employee performance. Results also showed that goal commitment partially mediated future time perspective and employee performance relationship. Hopefully, result of this study could help company on recruiting employees with future time perspective. Theoretical and practical implications are further discussed. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan sikap terhadap waktu time attitude pada 96 partisipan siswa SMA di daerah Jabodetabek. Konsep sikap terhadap waktu yang digunakan adalah konsep dari Worrel dan Mello 2007. Konsep grit yang dipakai digagas pertama kali oleh Duckwoth, Matthew, Kelly, Anderson 2007. Sikap terhadap waktu diukur dengan menggunakan Adolescent Time Inventory ndash; Time Attitude ATI-TA. Grit diukur menggunakan Grit Scale for Adults and Children GSCA. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa sikap terhadap waktu dapat memprediksi grit sig. 0.000. Hasil uji regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa Masa Depan Negatif sig. 0.030 dan Masa Kini Negatif sig.0.049 dapat memprediksi grit secara signifikan.
