"ABSTRAK Pierre de Ronsard adalah seorang tokoh yang mempunyai pengaruh besar dalam kesusastraan Prancisabad XVI. Ronsard merupakan pemimpin La Pléiade, ia sangat produktif dalam menciptakan karya-karya yangmerefleksikan kondisi zamannya sehingga dijuluki Le Prince des Poètes. Salah satu karya Ronsard yang terkenaladalah puisi berbentuk soneta alexandrine berjudul ?? Quand vous serez bien vieille ??. Puisi ini dibuat untukmenyampaikan rasa cinta terpendam kepada seorang gadis yang dipanggil Vous. Penyair sengaja merahasiakan identitas gadis tersebut untuk menjaga kemurnian dan keagungan cinta sesuai konsep abad itu. Melalui analisisaspek bentuk dan bunyi, serta aspek semantik dan pragmatik, tulisan ini akan membahas penggambaran cintapenyair yang diduga sebagai cinta platonik.ABSTRACT Pierre de Ronsard is a major figure had his impact towards French literature in the 16th century.Ronsard is the leader of La Pléiade, he was very productive in creating belles-lettres which reflected the conditionof his time so that he was named Le Prince des Poètes. "ABSTRAKSebagai salah satu negara yang terlibat dalam peristiwa Perang Dunia I dan II, Prancis turut serta mengalami kehancuran dan kerugian akibat perang yang mencakup bangunan fisik hingga kondisi mental masyarakatnya. Hal tersebut mempengaruhi para sastrawan pada abad 20 dalam menciptakan karya sastra. Jacques Pr vert adalah salah satu sastrawan yang mengekspresikan pendapatnya melalui karya sastra puisi yang berhubungan dengan tema kehidupan aktual pada tahun 1940-an. Melalui karya sastra yang diwakilkan dalam puisi Barbara, Pr vert mengemukakan gagasan anti perang yang menyisakan kehancuran dan penderitaan yang begitu mendalam bagi masyarakat. Artikel ini memperlihatkan bahwa ekspresi anti perang yang dituangkan Pr vert dalam puisinya bertujuan untuk mengajak masyarakat Prancis untuk bangkit dari keterpurukan dan menolak kembali adanya peperangan.

ABSTRACTAs one of the countries involved in the events of World War I and II, France experienced the destruction and losses caused by the war that include physical buildings and the mental condition of the community. It affects litterateurs in the 20th century. Jacques Pr vert is one of the writers who expressed his opinion through poetry literature related to the theme of actual life in the 1940s. Through the literary work represented in Barbara 39 s poem, Pr vert put forward the anti war idea that left deep destruction and suffering for the society. This article shows that the anti war expression conveyed by Pr vert in his poetry aims to re invite French society to rise from the adversity and resist the war again."

"L`Etranger karya Albert Camus adalah salah satu roman Prancis paling berpengaruh di dunia. Seperti dalam karya-karyanya yang lain, tokoh utama yang ditampilkan adalah sosok laki-laki yang berhadapan dengan absurditas kehidupan dan masalah eksistensialisme. Artikel ini membahas tokoh-tokoh perempuan yang tampaknya secara sengaja kurang dikembangkan dalam L`Etranger. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian struktural dengan berfokus pada aspek penokohan, dengan diperdalam menggunakan konsep-konsep Albert Camus tentang absurditas dan pemberontakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya ambiguitas, di satu sisi tokoh-tokoh perempuan memiliki peran penting dalam alur cerita, namun di sisi lain digambarkan melalui sudut pandang tokoh Mersault sebagai sosok-sosok yang tidak bermakna bagi dirinya. Hal ini menegaskan tokoh Mersault sebagai sosok manusia absurd.

L`Etranger is one of Albert Camus` most influential french fiction in literature. As well as his other works, in this text, the main character is presented as a male who struggled with absurdity and existential crisis. This article discusses the women in L`Etranger whose character is intentionally simplified and reduced. Structuralism is used as an approach to focus on character and characterization along with Camus` absurdism and anarchism. The analysis shows the ambiguity in Camus work, on one side, the women hold important roles to ensure the flow of the plot but on the other side these characters is presented as meaningless through Meursault`s narrative. This stresses the point on Meursault as an absurd being."
