Abstrak :
Project management has been generally known and increasingly used by many organizations to gain competitive advantage. In this context, many studies have proposed maturity models to evaluate how project management knowledge has been deployed effectively and efficiently in organization. As a developing country, Indonesia needs many development projects managed by government and private companies in different industries. Here, a study to assess project management maturity level in Indonesian businesses may bring insight about current business practices, which is important to speed up country development and business sustainability. Adapting the Project Management Maturity Model (ProMMM), a survey instrument has been developed and applied to professionals from Jakarta and surrounding area. The result of analysis shows that construction and primary industry have a higher maturity level compare to manufacturing and services. It is to be noted, however, that the level of project management understanding is low across industries. This indicates that more quality project management training or certification is required to improve overall project management knowledge in Indonesia.

Semakin pesatnya pertumbuhan perusahaan rintisan di Indonesia saat ini, menyebabkan munculnya tren unik dalam proses pengerjaan proyek. Praktik pengerjaan proyek pada perusahaan rintisan saat ini dilakukan oleh individu atau pihak yang tidak dikenal secara langsung, terpisah fisik dengan klien, serta mekanisme pengadaannya dalam bentuk gig economy. Hal ini dapat berpotensi memberikan ancaman bagi keberlangsungan proyek dikarenakan adanya risiko kegagalan yang relatif tinggi serta kurangnya penerapan standar manajemen proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kematangan manajemen proyek pada online gig economy menggunakan Kerzner Project Management Maturity Model (KPMMM). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dari KPMMM yang berisi 80 pertanyaan pilihan ganda kepada 10 online gig worker secara online. Dari hasil pengolahan data penilaian jawaban kesepuluh responden ditemukan bahwa saat ini tingkat kematangan manajemen proyek pada online gig economy berada pada tingkat 1 atau common language. ......The development of the startup in Indonesia is quite rapid, that causing the emergence of a unique trend in the process of working on a project. The practice of working on projects at startup is currently carried out by individuals or unknown parties directly, physically separated from clients, and procurement mechanisms in the form of gig economy. This can potentially give a threat to the sustainability of the project due to the relatively high risk of failure and the lack of application of project management standards. This study aims to determine the level of project management maturity in the online gig economy using the Kerzner Project Management Maturity Model (KPMMM). Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires from KPMMM containing 80 multiple choice questions to 10 online gig workers. The results of data processing from the responses of the ten respondents found that the current level of project management maturity in online gig economy is at first level or common language.

Korelasi antara tingkat kematangan manajemen proyek dengan kinerja proyek telah ditunjukkan dalam berbagai jurnal dan riset yang membuktikan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara tingkat kematangan dengan hasil kinerja proyek. Di dalam penelitian ini, penulis ingin menganalisa praktik manajemen proyek Bank ABC yang ditunjukkan di dalam proyek Validasi Basel II dan ERM menggunakan Project Management Maturity Model dalam rangka tidak hanya mengukur tingkat kematangan praktik manajemen proyek di dalam perusahaan tapi juga memberikan rekomendasi mengenai bagaimana praktik manajemen proyek di dalam perusahaan dapat ditingkatkan. Sampel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah personil dari tim manajemen proyek Validasi Basel II dan ERM. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa area di dalam praktik manajemen proyek yang dilakukan oleh Bank ABC yang perlu ditingkatkan. Sehingga, beberapa rekomendasi juga dikembangkan di penelitian ini terkait dengan temuan-temuan tersebut.

The correlation between project management maturity and project performance has been evidenced in various research and journal, indicated that there is a positive correlation between maturity level and project performance. In this research the author wants to analyze the project management implementation during the Basel II and ERM project implementation project at Bank ABC using Project Management Maturity Model in order not only to measure the maturity of project management but also give the insight and recommendation to improve the project management practice within the company. The samples used in this research are the project management team of the Basel II and ERM Validation project. The results of this research show several rooms for improvement that the Bank ABC need to consider in order to improved its project management practice. Therefore several recommendations also developed in this research in accordance with the findings discovered.
