"Lieferando.de merupakan salah satu perusahaan penyedia layanan pengantar makanan terbesar di Jerman. Dalam memasarkan jasanya, Lieferando.de menggunakan iklan sebagai media promosi. Iklan yang diterbitkan oleh Lieferando.de acap kali mengundang decak tawa dan menarik perhatian publik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan unsur retorika di dalam iklan yang diterbitkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis retorika yang terdapat dalam iklan Lieferando.de. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat jenis retorika seperti jenis repetisi dan destabilisasi yang digunakan di dalam keenam iklan Lieferando.de yang dianalisis.

AbstractLieferando.de is one of the biggest food delivery service companies in Germany. Lieferando.de uses advertisements as its media campaign to promote its service. Lieferando.de often releases funny and interesting advertisements to attract public rsquo s attention as it uses rhetorical operation in its advertisements. This research takes aim to find out the rhetorical operation in Lieferando.de rsquo s advertisements. The result of the research shows that there are two kinds of rhetorical operations, such as repetition and destabilization found in six advertisements of Lieferando.de."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana anggota organisasi birokrasi berinteraksi pada Whatsapp group chat berdasarkan konsep rhetorical sensitivity sensitivitas retorik, serta kaitannya dengan konteks birokrasi di Indonesia. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah post-positivism dengan metode penelitian netnografi pada teks grup WhatsApp salah satu unit kerja di Kementerian Pariwisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam berinteraksi pada grup WhatsApp, tiap-tiap individu akan menampilkan satu dari tiga gaya sensitivitas retorik rhetorical sensitive, noble self atau rhetorical reflector ketika mereka dihadapkan pada satu situasi komunikasi atau arah komunikasi organisasi tertentu Edie Paulson, 1986. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa WhatsApp group chat berpotensi mempersingkat alur komunikasi birokrasi, namun enkulturasi budaya instansi pemerintah yang sudah mengakar tidak serta merta hilang dengan hadirnya komunikasi bermediasi teknologi dalam organisasi birokrasi.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine how members of bureaucracy organization interact in WhatsApp group chat based on the rhetorical sensitivity concept, and how it relates to the Indonesian bureaucracy context. It observed the WhatsApp group chat of one of the working units in the Ministry of Tourism under the post positivism paradigm with netnography as the research methodology. The result shows that each members of the WhatsApp group chat tend to performs one out of three rhetorical style ndash the rhetorical sensitive, noble self or rhetorical reflector ndash when faced with particular communication situation or certain organizational communication flow Eddie Paulson, 1986. Other finding also shows that WhatsApp group chat is potential to shorten the bureaucracy communication flow however the enculturation of bureaucratic culture which have been rooted over a very long period of time within the government office would not be easily shifted with the presence of the technology mediated communication in this bureaucratic organization."

"This article examines uses of Indonesian third person singular pronouns ia and dia in news reports. It takes as its departure point the general account of the pronouns which specifies that ia can occur only in subject position, while dia can occur in subject or object position. The article shows that, although both pronouns can occur in subject position, they differ distributionally and functionally. Ia occurs almost three times as frequently as dia and predominates in subject position, while dia occurs mostly in non-subject position. Ia is primarily used to convey the notion that the referent is a reliable and authoritative source of information and to focus on the referent as an agent or protagonist who is initiating or performing some action or a series of actions. By contrast, dia tends to be selected for contexts in which the referent is presented as a speaker who is elaborating on what has been said previously rather than introducing a new point. The predominance of ia in news report accords with its characterization as a pronoun strongly associated with formal registers."

"Burger King merupakan salah satu restoran cepat saji merek asing yang terkenal di seluruh dunia termasuk di Belanda. Burger King Nederland secara rutin melakukan promosi melalui akun Instagram resmi mereka @burgerkingnl. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna dari setiap caption dengan gaya bahasa pertanyaan retoris dan hiperbol pada unggahan bertema perayaan tahunan dan promosi produk musiman. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah empat belas caption dari akun Instagram @burgerkingnl dalam kurun waktu Januari hingga April 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis-deskriptif. Caption dianalisis dengan cara diamati satu per satu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan gaya bahasa pertanyaan retoris dan hiperbol pada akun @burgerkingnl memiliki persamaan pada fungsi kalimat sebagai bentuk persuasi. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan pada makna kalimat. Gaya bahasa pertanyaan retoris memiliki fungsi sebagai bentuk interaksi dengan audiensi, sedangkan gaya bahasa hiperbol memiliki fungsi sebagai bentuk penekanan.
......Burger King is one of the foreign brands fast food restaurants that are well known throughout the world, including in the Netherlands. Burger King Nederland regularly carries out promotions through their official Instagram account @burgerkingnl. This research aims to determine the meaning of each caption with rhetorical questions and hyperbole on all posts with the theme of annual celebrations and promotions of seasonal products. The data used in this research are fourteen captions from the Instagram account @burgerkingnl within the period from January to April 2021. This research was conducted using descriptive-analytic method. Captions were analyzed by observing one by one. The results of this research show that the style of rhetorical questions and hyperbole on the Instagram account @burgerkingnl have similarities in the function of sentences as a form of persuasion. In addition, there are differences in the meaning of sentences. Rhetorical question language style has function as a form of interaction with the audience, while hyperbole has function as a form of emphasis."
