"ABSTRAKSeorang apoteker memegang peranan penting, salah satunya dalam bidang industri farmasi dan apotek. Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensinya sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke dalam dunia kerja. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk memahami perannya dan meningkatkan kemampuan kompetensinya, maka pada kesempatan kali ini, penulis bereksempatan untuk mengikuti kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT. Taisho Pharmaceutical Indonesia dan Apotek Roxy Pitara selama periode bulan Februari hingga Juni 2020. Selama PKPA ini, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi nantinya.

ABSTRACTA pharmacist plays an important role, one of which are in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacies. Pharmacists are required to meet competency standards as a requirement in professional field and carry out their professional practice properly. Pharmacist competency standards in Indonesia consist of ten (10) competency standards as the abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter the professional field. As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to understand their role and improve their competence, on this occasion, the authors had the opportunity to participate in the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices (PKPA) at PT. Taisho Pharmaceutical Indonesia and Apotek Roxy Pitara during the period from February to June 2020. During this PKPA, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in the professional practice later."

"Seorang apoteker harus bisa membaca, mengkaji resep obat yang diterima, serta menggali informasi lain yang berhubungan dengan resep untuk dapat melaksanakan pelayanan farmasi klinik. Salah satu informasi yang perlu digali dari resep yaitu efek samping obat (ESO) dan potensi interaksi obat. Dengan mengetahui efek samping obat serta potensi interaksi obat, apoteker dapat mencegah terjadinya kesalahan pengobatan ataupun munculnya reaksi obat yang tidak diinginkan (ROTD). Penelitian dilakukan dengan memilih beberapa resep polifarmasi yang dilayani di Apotek Roxy Pitara pada periode September 2022 yang kemudian dianalisis efek samping obat serta ada atau tidaknya potensi interaksi obat. Analisis dilakukan dengan merujuk pada literatur tentang obat. Dari hasil analisis terkait efek samping obat dan potensi interaksi obat pada beberapa resep polifarmasi yang dilayani di Apotek Roxy Pitara, didapat beberapa kesimpulan, yaitu: tiap obat memiliki efek samping yang terbagi kedalam kategori umum dan serius. ESO yang termasuk kategori umum adalah ESO yang ringan dan lebih sering terjadi, seperti mual, muntah, sakit kepala, mengantuk, dsb. ESO yang termasuk kategori serius merupakan ESO yang jarang terjadi namun membutuhkan penanganan yang lebih serius bila terjadi. Pada ketiga resep polifarmasi ditemukan beberapa potensi interaksi obat yang umumnya memiliki tingkat keparahan C sehingga hanya membutuhkan perhatian dan pemantauan khusus saja.

A pharmacist must be able to read, review drug prescriptions received, and obtain other informations related to the prescription to be able to carry out the clinical pharmacy services. The informations needed from the prescription are including the adverse effects and potential drug interactions. By knowing the side effects of drugs and potential drug interactions, pharmacists can prevent medication errors or adverse drug reactions (ADR). The research was carried out by selecting several polypharmacy prescriptions at Roxy Pitara Pharmacy in September 2022 which were then analyzed for adverse effects and whether or not there were potential drug interactions. The analysis was carried out by referring to the drug literatures. The results of the analysis regarding adverse effects and potential drug interactions in several polypharmacy prescriptions at Roxy Pitara Pharmacy, several conclusions were obtained, namely: each drug has adverse effects which are divided into general and serious categories. The adverse effects which belongs to the general category that is mild and occurs more frequently, such as nausea, vomiting, headaches, drowsiness, etc. The adverse effects which is included in the serious category is the side effects which rarely occurs but requires more serious treatment when it occurs. In the three polypharmacy prescriptions analyzed, several potential drug interactions were found which generally had a severity level of C so that they only required special attention and monitoring."
