Samsung yang sudah dikenal sebagai produsen barang elektronik yang inovatif dan berteknologi tinggi, juga bersaing di pasar televisi. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat membuat Samsung harus selalu menciptakan teknologi yang baru dengan cepat dan televisi dengan teknologi paling tinggi sendiri sudah diproduksi oleh Samsung, yaitu TV dengan layar lengkung Samsung Curved TV. Perkembangan teknologi pada TV menciptakan pasar dengan persaingan yang sangat ketat, apalagi dengan harganya yang mahal. Samsung Curved TV juga sudah mengalami penurunan, karena trennya yang mulai pudar. Oleh karena itu, dengan menyasar khalayak sasaran baru dengan populasi terbanyak di dunia ini ndash; millennials, diharapkan dapat mengembalikan tren TV layar lengkung. Strategi program pemasaran Samsung Curved TV ini dibuat dalam rangka menciptakan khalayak sasaran baru dan mengembalikan tren TV layar lengkung. Total biaya dari program ini adalah sebesar Rp 1,798,927,750.

Samsung has been known as a high technology and innovative brand that is also competing in television market. The fast development of technology has made Samsung inventing new technology within years and the newest TV technology that Samsung invented was the TV with curved panel, Samsung Curved TV. The fast development in TV technology has created a tight competition, moreover with the premium price, Samsung Curved TV has also encountered a decline, due to the faded trend of Curved TV. By then, targeting Samsung rsquo s potential market, which is millennials, is a way to bring back the trend of Curved TV. Marketing program strategy of Samsung Curved TV is made in order to create new target audience and to bring back the trend of TV with curved panel. The total budget of this program is Rp 1,798,927,750."

"Sebelum reformasi, film Hollywood telah mendominasi layar bioskop di Indonesia. Pasca reformasi tepatnya pada tahun 2009, pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkan aturan untuk melawan dominasi film Hollywood di dalam negeri yang tertuang dalam pasal 32 UU Perfilman No.33 Tahun 2009. Pasal tersebut mewajibkan pihak bioskop untuk menayangan film Indonesia sekurang-kurangnya 60 enam puluh persen dari seluruh jam pertunjukan film yang dimilikinya selama 6 enam bulan berturut-turut. Namun hingga sekarang, amanat tersebut tidak dapat berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penguasaan layar film Hollywood yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan film nasional di bioskop Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kegagalan pelaksanaan pasal 32 UU Perfilman No.33 Tahun 2009 tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kritis, pendekatan kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, pengamatan, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini memerlihatkan ada enam faktor yang menyebabkan kegagalan pelaksanaan pasal 32 UU Perfilman No.33 tahun 2009. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan konsep-konsep ekonomi politik, teori kritis dan imperialisme struktural.

Hollywood has dominated Indonesian cinema even before the reformation took place. To fight against it, just after the reformation, Indonesian government issued the law regarding cinema screen in article 32 Film Law number 33 2009. The law obligates the cinema party to show Indonesian movies at least 60 from the whole screen for six consecutive months. But in reality, the law has been disobeyed. This can be proved by the fact that Hollywood films has dominated Indonesian screen. Therefore, this study aimed to understand the factors which caused the failure of the implementation of the act number 32 Film Law number 33 2009. This thesis adopted critical paradigm, qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data collection was done through deep interview, observation and document study. The result showed that there are six factors caused the failure of the article 32 Film Law number 33 year 2009 implementation. The result was analyzed by using political economy concept, critical theory and structural imperialism."

"Sandeq merupakan perahu layar tradisional khas suku Mandar. Sekilas, sandeq terkesan rapuh, dengan panjang lambungnya 7-11 meter dengan lebar 60-80 sentimeter tetapi di balik itu ternyata tersimpan keunggulan karena kelincahannya dalam bermanuver dan kecepatannya. Di kiri-kanannya dipasang cadik dari bambu sebagai penyeimbang. Sandeq mengandalkan dorongan angin yang ditangkap layar berbentuk segitiga. Layar itu mampu mendorong sandeq hingga kecepatan 20 knot. Melalui penulisan skripsi ini, diharapkan dapat dicermati keunggulan dari perahu sandeq, baik dari segi stabilitas, maupun tahanan dengan mencermati posisi cadik pada kedua sisi perahu Sandeq.

"ABSTRAKUsability merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting untuk dipertimbangkan dalam membuat desain smartphone yang lebih mudah, efektif, efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kriteria usability yang mempengaruhi kemudahan penggunaan smartphone touchscreen, dengan menggunakan studi kasus pada dua merk smartphone yang sedang banyak diminati, yaitu iPhone dan Samsung, dengan responden orang Indonesia pada usia produktif (18-35 tahun). Selanjutnya, melalui hasil penelitian eye tracking diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan desain antarmuka smartphone touchscreen terkait usability. Adapun ketiga pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah performance measurement, pengukuran subjektif dengan modifikasi kuisoner USE (Usefullness, Satisfaction, and Ease of Use), dan eye tracking. Pada pendekatan performance measurement akan diukur lima kriteria usability, yaitu understandability, operability, frustration, efficiency, dan learnability. Pendekatan subjektif digunakan untuk menilai kepuasan pengguna akan smartphone yang diujikan terhadap lima kriteria tersebut. Korelasi antara pendekatan subjektif dan pendekatan performance measurement akan diuji menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Sementara itu, pada pendekatan eye tracking akan dibahas mengenai kriteria attractiveness pada tampilan smartphone yang diujikan.

ABSTRACTUsability is one of important aspect that supposed to be considered in designing easier, effective, efficient smartphone. This study aims to determine the usability criteria that affect the ease of use in touchscreen smartphone, using a case study on two brands of smartphones that has the biggest handheld market share, which are iPhone and Samsung, with Indonesian people with productive age range (18-35 years). Furthermore, through eye tracking research results are expected to provide inputs related to touchscreen smartphone interface with usability design. There are three approaches used in this study, which are performance measurement, subjective measurement with modifications of USE (Usefullness, Satisfaction, and Ease of Use) questionnaires, and eye tracking. On the approach of performance measurement will be measured five usability criterias, namely understandability, operability, frustration, efficiency, and learnability. Subjective approach used to assess the satisfaction of smartphone users about the five usability criterias. Correlation between subjective approach and performance measurement approach will be tested using Pearson correlation test. Meanwhile, the eye tracking approach will be discussing the attractiveness criteria where smartphone displays are being tested."

Studi ini mengevaluasi penggunaan perangkat eksternal tambahan untuk membentuk sudut kemiringan dalam penggunaan laptop untuk memperbaiki postur head-neckdan meminimalisasi aktivitas otot. Di era modern ini, pengguna laptop sering menggunakan laptop di tempat umum dimana tidak terdapat tempat kerja yang dapat disesuaikan dengan pengguna. Selain itu, desain laptop yang memiliki layar menyatu dengan perangkat input menyebabkan postur yang tidak baik karena desain laptop yang portabel, ringan, dan hemat ruang tempat. Electromyography (EMG) digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki aktivitas otot saat menggunakan laptop dengan sudut kemiringan berbeda. Postur head-neckdiukur dengan sudut craniocervical untuk menilai perbaikan yang terjadi pada postur saat menggunakan laptop. Penilaian subjektif responden dalam menggunakan laptop dengan sudut kemiringan berbeda juga di evaluasi, begitu pula dengan efisiensi mengetik pada setiap sudut kemiringan. Berdasarkan hasil EMG, sudut kemiringan 12° menghasilkan aktivitas otot keseluruhan paling kecil. Hasil ini juga didukung oleh penilaian subjektif responden terhadap penggunaan sudut kemiringan. Meskipun sudut kemiringan lebih besar dapat membentuk postur head-neckyang lebih baik, hasil tersebut tidak sejalan dengan hasil aktivitas otot serta penilaian subyektif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyarankan pemanfaatan sudut kemiringan sebesar 12° saat menggunakan laptop untuk meningkatkan postur dan mengurangi risiko gangguan muskuloskeletal.

This study evaluated the use of external peripheral to form inclines to improve posture and minimize muscle activity of using notebook computer. These days users often use notebook computer in public places or external environments where no adjustable workstation is provided. Furthermore, the design of laptop where the display is connected with the input device causes poorer posture to the user because the design of laptop which are portable, lightweight, and space saving. Electromyography (EMG) was used to investigate muscle activities when using notebook with different inclines. Head-neck posture was measured traditionally with craniocervical angle to assess the improved posture formed through applying different inclines in notebook usage. The subjective valuation by the computer users were also evaluated followed by calculating the efficiency of the typing task in each incline. Based on the EMG result, the 12° induced the less overall muscle activity of the muscles examined. This result was also supported by the respondents’ subjective valuation of the inclines. Even though bigger incline offered more improved head-neck posture, it didn’t correspond with the muscle activity result as well as the subjective valuation. Therefore, this study suggested the utilization of 12° when using laptop to improve posture and reduce the risk of any musculoskeletal disorder.
