"Blended Learning merupakan proses pembelajaran yang menggabungkan model pembelajaran Traditional Learning dengan Online Learning dimana pada Blended Learning, sejumlah kegiatan-kegiatan penting yang biasanya dilakukan di dalam kelas akan dipindahkan ke dalam lingkungan berbasis online sehingga akan menghemat waktu dari kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut di dalam kelas, misalnya kuis yang biasanya dilakukan di dalam kelas akan dilakukan secara online. Pada tesis ini akan dilakukan evaluasi keefektivitasan dan kinerja terhadap proses belajar mengajar secara Blended Learning dengan mengambil studi kasus pada STMIK Mikroskil Medan pada Jurusan / Program Studi Teknik Informatika, dimana Blended Learning telah dilaksanakan oleh Jurusan / Program Studi Teknik Informatika sejak tahun 2005 dengan memanfaatkan website organisasi kemahasiswaan yakni www.bitsmikro.com sebagai tool untuk Blended Learning, tetapi belum menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mutu dari pelaksanaan Blended Learning tersebut, dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan tool untuk Blended Learning oleh mahasiswa dan dosen, serta kurangnya keterlibatan alumni dalam membantu pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar secara Blended Learning. Adapun metodologi yang digunakan adalah dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner. Evaluasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap para dosen, mahasiswa, dan alumni yang juga memanfaatkan tool untuk Blended Learning sebagai media untuk memperoleh pengetahuan terkini meskipun telah tamat. Hasil dari evaluasi adalah keefektivitasan dan kinerja dari aktivitas mahasiswa, dosen, dan alumni dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan memanfaatkan tool Blended Learning, serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses belajar mengajar tersebut, misalnya keterbatasan waktu yang dimiliki dalam mengakses tool Blended Learning.

Blended Learning is a study process that combines Traditional Learning and Online Learning study model. In Blended Learning, some activities that usually hold in the class will be moved to online-based environment in order to retrench time of the activities, such as quiz that usually hold in class will be hold in an online manner. This study explores the effectiveness and performance evaluation toward learning process with Blended Learning by taking case studies in STMIK Mikroskil Medan in the field of Informatic Technology. Blended Learning has been hold by the field of Informatic Technology since 2005 by using the website of students organization, namely www.bitsmikro.com as tool for Blended Learning. It hasn?t shown the qualities improvement of Blended Learning. Neither students nor lecturers have yet to utilize the Blended Learning tool optimumly. In addition, alumnus? involvement is still not adequate in facilitating Blended Learning. The methodology used is gathering data through questionaire. Evaluation that hold in this research done toward the lecturers, students, and alumnus that also using tool for Blended Learning as a media to obtain the latest knowledge although have been graduated. The outcome of this evaluation is the effectiveness and performance if students, lecturers, and alumnus? activities in learning process with Blended Learning, as well as hindrances encountered in the learning process, such as the limited time in accessing Blended Learning tools."

"Tesis ini membahas penerapan manajemen risiko sumber daya elektronik, suatu kajian kesiapan pada sistem hybrid learning di Universitas Utama. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara terhadap 9 sampel yang dipilih berdasarkan pada asas subyek yang menguasai permasalahan, memiliki data, dan bersedia  memberikan informasi lengkap dan akurat.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan risiko sistem hybrid learning di Universitas Utama berdasarkan identifikasi yang telah dilakukan dapat dikatakan masih banyak kekurangan dan memerlukan berbagai upaya untuk mencapai kesempurnaan dalam penerapan ke depan.

This thesis discusses the application of electronic resource risk management, a study of readiness in hybrid learning systems at the Utama University. This research is a qualitative research with observation and interview methods for 9 samples chosen based on the principle of subjects who master the problem, have data, and are willing to provide complete and accurate information. The results of the study indicate that the risk readiness of the hybrid learning system at the Utama University based on the identification that has been done can be said to be still many shortcomings and requires various efforts to achieve perfection in the future application."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana terbentuknya digital capital dalam aspek akses dan kompetensi pada siswa SMA dalam proses dinamika pembelajaran daring pasca pandemi covid-19. Studi-studi terdahulu mengenai topik tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran daring memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap siswa sehingga menghasilkan motivasi belajar yang rendah. Studi-studi lainnya menjelaskan dampak secara evaluatif mengenai kelebihan dan kelemahan dari metode pembelajaran daring. Peneliti setuju dengan beberapa hasil penelitian tersebut. Namun, peneliti berargumen dengan adanya kebijakan pembelajaran daring terhadap siswa dapat membentuk digital capital siswa melalui proses sosialisasi selama pembelajaran daring yang berlangsung selama dua tahun lebih. Hal tersebut berimplikasi pada pola baru dalam melakukan pembelajaran bagi siswa karena meningkatnya pemahaman digital melalui proses pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode framework analysis dan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam serta observasi terhadap siswa SMA di Provinsi DKI jakarta yang pernah melalui pembelajaran daring selama pandemi. Delimitasi pada penelitian ini berfokus pada lingkup sekolah sebagai arena pertukaran informasi dan melihat modal yang berfokus pada modal digital dari tiap aktor-aktor sosial.

This study aims to analyze how digital capital is formed in terms of access and competence in high school students in the dynamics of online learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. Previous studies on this topic concluded that online learning methods have a large influence on students, resulting in low learning motivation. Other studies explain the evaluative impact of the advantages and disadvantages of online learning methods. Researchers agree with some of the results of these studies. However, researchers argue that the existence of online learning policies for students can form student digital capital through the socialization process during online learning which lasts for more than two years. This has implications for new patterns of learning for students due to increased digital understanding through the online learning process. This research will use a qualitative approach with the framework analysis method and data collection techniques of in-depth interviews and observations of high school students in DKI Jakarta Province who have taken online learning during the pandemic. The delimitation in this study focuses on the scope of the school as an arena for information exchange and looks at capital that focuses on digital capital from each social actor."

"Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan universitas mulai menerapkan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) untuk meneruskan aktivitas pembelajaran dari rumah, namun penerapan PJJ kerap terkendala masalah. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi kehidupan akademik seorang mahasiswa, terutama penilaian kemampuan diri sendiri dalam aktivitas akademis, atau academic self-efficacy (ASE). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah kualitas online learning berperan dalam memprediksi ASE pada mahasiswa angkatan 2018-2020. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah kualitas online learning memprediksi naik dan turunnya ASE pada mahasiswa. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES), alat ukur kualitas online learning buatan Elango, Gudep dan Selvam. Sebanyak 119 mahasiswa angkatan 2018-2020 berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, 49 mahasiswa laki-laki dan 70 mahasiswa perempuan. Hasil analisis regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa kualitas online learning mampu memprediksi ASE mahasiswa, dengan naiknya kualitas online learning memprediksi naiknya ASE mahasiswa.

Abstract. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused universities to start implementing Long Distance Learning (Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh) to continue learning activities from home, but the implementation of PJJ tends to be plagued with issues. This will influence the academic life of a student, especially the self-judgement of their capabilities in academic activities, or academic self-efficacy (ASE). The purpose of this research is to find out whether online learning quality has a role in predicting the ASE of university students of the years 2018-2020. This research hypothesizes that online learning quality can predict the rise and fall of ASE in university students. The measures used are College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES), an online learning quality scale developed by Elango, Gudep and Selvam. 119 university students of the years 2018-2020 participated in this research, 49 male students and 70 female students. The results of a linear regression analysis shows that online learning quality can predict the ASE of university students, with a rise of online learning quality predicting the rise of ASE"

"It has been claimed that the implementation of Guru Pembelajar Program has successfully improved the participation of competent teachers. Yet, there has not been any thorough and detailed studies regarding the effectiveness of the program on each subject including social studies. This research aims to reveal whether the Guru Pembelajar Program using mode of fully online and blended learning has improved social studies teachers’ competency. This research also compares the effectiveness of the two modes, and reveals participants’ perception on the program. Mix method which analysed both quantitative and qualitative data was used in this study. Descriptive analysis and gap analysis were used for the quantitative part, while the qualitative aspect was carried out using pattern and theme analysis of participants’ responses. Findings show that both modes effectively improved teachers’ competency. There was a significant different in learning result from the two modes. However, the difference was due to the initial gap between the participants of the two modes. Participating teachers conveyed that the training was relevant with their teaching tasks and was effective in increasing their skill. In conclusion, the Teacher Learning Program implementation is effective in improving teacher competence, either by pure online mode or blended mode."

"ABSTRAK
E-learning adalah salah satu contoh pemanfaatan internet di bidang pendidikan.
SCELE merupakan salah satu contoh pengaplikasian e-learning di FIK UI.
Adanya proses diskusi yang berlangsung melalui SCELE menimbulkan beragam
persepsi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi
mahasiswa FIK UI Reguler terhadap metode pembelajaran online melalui SCELE.
Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif sederhana. Pengambilan sampel dengan
teknik stratified random sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 83
mahasiswa FIK UI reguler, dari angkatan 2008, 2009, 2010 dan 2011. Hasil
analisa data menunjukkan bahwa 51,8% mahasiswa FIK UI mempunyai persepsi
negatif terhadap SCELE. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar penelitian berikutnya
menggunakan sampel yang lebih variatif, tidak hanya di FIK, tetapi seluruh
fakultas yang menggunakan SCELE.

Abstract
E-learning is one example of the use of internet in education. SCELE is one
example of application of e-learning in FIK UI. The discussion process that goes
through SCELE causes on different perceptions among students. This study aims
to describe FIK UI Regular students? perceptions to SCELE. This research used
quantitative descriptive design. Sampling technique used was stratified random
sampling on 83 regular students? of FIK UI, class of 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The results showed that 51.8% of students have a negative perception to SCELE.
Researcher recommended that next research should use more diverse sample, not
only from FIK UI, but also other faculties that used SCELE."

"Penelitian ini membahas peran diskusi online (dalam jaringan/daring) asinkronus yang menerapkan kerangka kerja community of inquiry (CoI) pada keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji kerangka kerja CoI dalam peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, serta melihat hubungan social presence, cognitive presence, dan teaching presence dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian kuasi eksperimental yang menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif ini dilakukan pada 45 mahasiswa angkatan 2014 dan 2 pengajar dari Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia yang mengikuti Mata Ajar Pengembangan Kepribadian Terintegrasi (MPKT B). Proses pembelajaran MPKT sendiri diselenggarakan secara tatap muka dan daring. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kelompok eksperimen yang diajarkan CoI tidak mendapatkan skor berpikir kritis yang lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol yang tidak diajarkan CoI. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa skor berpikir kritis memiliki hubungan dengan elemen-elemen dalam CoI meski tidak signifikan.

The focus of this study is to test the community of inquiry (CoI) framework on critical thinking skill development and investigates the relation between social presence, cognitive presence, and teaching presence and critical thinking. The study is conducted using quasi experimental design, which combines quantitative and qualitative approach. The participants are 45 first year students (2014) from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Universitas Indonesia, enrolled in character building course (MPKT B). The courses itself is delivered through blended mode, between face to face and online environment. is The participants are grouped into experimental group of 23 students and the control group of 22 students. The study also involed facilitators in each classes. The study exhibit the fact that the students in the experimental group do not have higher critical thinking score compared to the students of the control group. In addition to that, the critical thinking scores are related to the CoI elements, although these results are not significant."
