Abstrak :
Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara komitmen afektif organisasi, identifikasi organisasi dan employer branding, serta apakah employoyee engagement berfungsi sebagai faktor mediasi di antara keduanya. Keandalan dan validitas model telah diatasi melalui Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) telah digunakan untuk menentukan kontribusi employer branding melalui komitmen organisasional. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa aspek employer branding serta identifikasi organisasi merupakan prediktor penting dari komitmen afektif organisasi. Hasil penelitian juga menjelaskan peran employee engagement dalam perannya sebagai mediator. Studi ini menganalisis dampak dari employer branding dalam startup teknologi dari sudut pandang karyawan yang ada di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. ......This study aims to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and various aspects of employer branding, as well as whether organizational identification functions as a mediating factor between the two. The reliability and validity of the model have been addressed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been used to determine the contribution of employer branding through organizational commitment. Findings indicate that developmental values, an aspect of employer branding, as well as organizational identification, are important predictors of affective organizational commitment. The research results also highlight the role of employee engagement as a mediator. This study analyzes the impact of employer branding in the technology startup businesses from the perspective of employees in developing countries like Indonesia.

Abstrak :
Perusahaan tech startup memiliki daya tarik investasi karena berorientasi pada kecepatan tumbuh yang tinggi. Namun tingkat survival yang rendah membuat entrepreneur harus melakukan langkah stategis agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Studi ini mengeksplorasi faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan tech startup antara lain innovation intention dan keberadaan CEO-founder. Penelitian ini menggunakan perusahaan publik tech startup di Asia, karena saat ini Asia memiliki sepertiga unicorn di dunia. Data penelitian menggunakan perusahaan tech startup yang go public sejak tahun 2015-2019. Dengan menggunakan Tobin’s Q sebagai pengukuran nilai perusahaan, innovation intention terbukti mampu meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Namun keberadaan CEO-founder justru dapat melemahkan pengaruh positif inovasi terhadap nilai perusahaan tech startup. Dalam pengujian tambahan diperoleh hasil bahwa innovation intention berpengaruh negatif terhadap total return perusahaan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi memberikan referensi mengenai peranan innovation intention yang terdiri dari research and development, advertising, and marketing expense dan capital expenditure yang sebelumnya banyak diteliti hubungannya dengan kinerja perusahaan secara parsial ......Tech startup companies are attractive, investment-wise, for they orient their businesses in a rapid pace of growth. However, the low survival rate forces entrepreneurs to execute strategic moves to improve performance. This study explores the factors that influence the market performance of tech startup companies, including innovation intentions and the presence of a CEO-founder. This study used public tech startup companies in Asia, because currently Asia has a third of unicorns in the world. The research data uses tech startup companies that went public since 2015-2019. By using Tobin's Q as a measurement of company value, innovation intention is proven to be able to increase company value. However, the presence of a CEO-founder can weaken the positive influence of innovation on the value of tech startup companies. In additional testing, it was found that innovation intention harmed the company's total return. This study provides a reference regarding the role of innovation intention, which consists of research and development, advertising and marketing expense and capital expenditure which has previously been studied partially about market performance.

Employer attractiveness berarti daya tarik tempat pemberi kerja yang mana menjadi salah satu kekuatan agar tempat kerja tersebut dapat bersaing di tengah talent war utamanya di era pasca pandemi. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis studi komparatif dari employer attractiveness dari tech startup, Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), dan instansi pemerintah pusat sebagai tiga jenis perusahaan yang telah mengalami transformasi hingga kini di era pasca pandemi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode quota sampling atas dua kelompok sampel yang terkumpul 136 responden mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dan 131 responden mahasiswa Universitas Bina Nusantara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis statistik deskriptif, uji Kruskal-Wallis, dan uji Mann-Whitney. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat employer attractiveness atas ketiga objek penelitian dengan yang tertinggi hingga terendah adalah tech startup, BUMN, dan instansi pemerintahan pusat. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat employer attractiveness pada ketiga objek penelitian. Selain itu, perbandingan employer attractiveness tiap objek penelitian pada dua kelompok responden menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang tidak signifikan pada employer attractiveness tech startup dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada employer attractiveness BUMN dan employer attractiveness instansi pemerintahan pusat. ......Employer attractiveness means the attractiveness of the place of employment which is one of the strengths so that the workplace can compete in the midst of talent wars, especially in the post-pandemic era. This research discusses a comparative study analysis of the employer attractiveness of tech startups, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and central government agencies as three types of companies that have undergone transformation until now in the post-pandemic era. The approach used in this research is quantitative research with data collection using a questionnaire. Sampling using the quota sampling method for two sample groups collected 136 respondents of University of Indonesia students and 131 respondents of Bina Nusantara University students. Data analysis in this study includes descriptive statistical analysis, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the level of employer attractiveness of the three research objects with the highest to the lowest being tech startups, BUMN, and central government agencies. The research data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22 software. The comparison results show that there are differences in the level of employer attractiveness in the three research objects. In addition, the comparison of employer attractiveness of each research object in two groups of respondents shows that there is an insignificant difference in the employer attractiveness of tech startups and there is a significant difference in the employer attractiveness of SOEs and the employer attractiveness of central government agencies.
