Abstrak :
Joint attention (JA) merupakan salah satu defisit pada anak dengan autism spectrum disorder (ASD), padahal, para peneliti telah menemukan bahwa keterampilan JA memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak. JA berhubungan dengan perkembangan bahasa dan interaksi sosial anak, baik anak normal maupun anak ASD. Oleh karena itu, para ahli menyarankan agar joint attention menjadi salah satu target utama dalam penerapan intervensi untuk anak autism. Pada penelitian ini, JA dilatihkan pada anak ASD melalui teknik intervensi gabungan discrete trial training (DTT) dan pivotal response training (PRT) yang merupakan bagian dari pendekatan behavioristik. Pada intervensi ini, dua jenis JA, yaitu response to joint attention (RJA) dan melakukan initiation to joint attention dilatihkan pada anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik intervensi gabungan DTT dan PRT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan JA, baik RJA maupun IJA, pada anak ASD.
Deficit in joint attention is one of characteristic children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Since joint attention have important role for language dan social development, researchers suggested joint attention skill as pivotal target in any intervention for autism. In this study, child with ASD were taught to response joint attention bids and initiate joint attention independently. Both of type joint attention were taught to the child with ASD using discret trial training (DTT) and pivotal response training (PRT) technique. Result show that implementation of both DTT and PRT can improve joint attention skill in child with ASD.

Perpisahan dalam jangka waktu lama yang dialami oleh remaja dan orang tua yang merupakan pekerja migran dapat membuat kualitas hubungan yang terjalin mengalami perubahan dan membentuk hubungan yang buruk diantara mereka. Ketika remaja memiliki hubungan yang buruk dengan orang tua, mereka mulai menjalin kedekatan dengan teman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara kelekatan pada orang tua dan teman sebaya dengan subjective well-being (SWB) remaja yang ditinggalkan orang tua bekerja sebagai pekerja migran. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 42 remaja berusia 12 - 15 tahun. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur kelekatan adalah inventory of parent and peer attachment (IPPA) oleh Armsden dan Greenberg (1987). Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur SWB adalah satisfaction with life scale (SWLS) oleh Diener, Emmons, Larsen, dan Griffin (1985), positive and negative affect schedule (PANAS) oleh Watson, Clark dan Tellegan (1988) dan subjective happiness scale (SHS) oleh Lyubomirsky dan Lepper (1999). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kelekatan pada ayah dengan kepuasan hidup dan kebahagiaan dan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kelekatan pada ayah dengan afek negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kelekatan pada ibu dengan komponen afek positif dan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kelekatan pada teman sebaya dengan kebahagiaan. ......Long-term separation experienced by adolescents and parents who are migrant workers can make quality of the relationships are change and form a bad relationship between them. When adolescent have a bad relationship with parents, they begin to develop closeness with friends. The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between attachment to parent and peer with subjective well-being (SWB) among adolescents who are left behind by their parent to working as migrant worker. The research sample are 42 adolescents between 12 - 15 years old who are left behind by their parent to working as migrant worker. Attachment to parent and peer was measured with Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) by Armsden and Greenberg (1987) and SWB was measured with Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) by Diener, Emmons, Larsen, and Griffin (1985), Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) by Watson, Clark and Tellegan (1988), and Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS) by Lyubomirsky and Lepper (1999). Result of this study indicated that attachment to father has positively significant correlation with life satisfaction and happiness while attachment to father has negatively significant correlation with negative affect. Attachment to mother has positively significant correlation with positive affect and attachment to peer has positively significant to happiness.

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Peran ayah telah mengalami pergeseran makna dari masa ke masa. sehingga pada abad ke-20 dimunculkan sebuah istilah baru yaitu "new nurturant father". Istilah ini menekankan peran ayah yang aktif dalam kehidupan anak (Griswold dalam Lamb, 2010). Ayah yang ikut terlibat dalam pengasuhan bayi 0 - 12 bulan memiliki dampak yang positif maupun negatif bagi ayah. Salah satu dampak negatif yang dirasakan ayah ketika ikut terlibat dalam pengasuhan bayi usia 0 - 12 bulan adalah psychological distress. Metode :Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan melihat hubungan antara skorpaternal involvement dan skor psychological distress. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode kuantitatif dengan cara accidental sampling sebagai metode sampling.Data yang dianalisis oleh peneliti berjumlah 100 data ayah. Analisis Statistik : Peneliti menggunakan pearson correlation untukmembandingkan keterlibatan ayah pada pengasuhan bayi berusia 0 - 12 bulandengan psychological distress ayah. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan diantara variabel keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan bayi berusia 0 - 12 bulan dengan variabel psychological distress ayah. Kesimpulan : Keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan bayi berusia 0 - 12 bulan tidak menyebabkan munculnya psychological distress. Hal ini tidak sejalandengan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di luar negri yang menyatakan bahwa keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan bayi usia 0 - 12 bulan berhubungan dengan psychological distress. Penyebaran responden berdasarkan usia, jenis pekerjaan,dan juga tingkat sosioekonomi dapat menjadi faktor yang menyebabkan hasil penelitian berbeda dengan hasil pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Berdasarkan analisis tambahan yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa banyak ayah cenderung memilih untuk tidak melakukan aktivitas-aktivitas yang langsung berhubungan dengan perkembangan anak.
ABSTRACT Background : Paternal involvement has endured the shifting of meaning from time to time. In the 20th century, a new definition is introduced, "new nurturant father".This definition stresses in active father’s involvement in child's life (Lamb, 2010). An involved father in 0 to 12 months-aged baby parenting has a positive and negative impact to the father. One of the negative impact which is experienced by the father is psychological distress. Methods : in this research, the author focuses on paternal involvement's score and psychological distress' score. The research uses quantitative methods with accidental sampling as the sampling's methods. The sum of the data which will be used is 100 father's data. Statistical Analysis : The authors uses Pearson Correlation to compare the paternal involvement in 0-12 months-aged baby parenting with Father's Psychological Distress. Results : The result shows that there is no significant relationship between paternal involvement variable and the father's psychological distress' variable. Conclusion : paternal involvement in 0 to 12 months- aged baby parenting does not cause the psychological distress. This does not meet the research result which has been conducted overseas which states that father's involvement in 0 to 12 months-aged baby parenting is related to psychological distress. The respondent's spreading based on age, occupation, and also the socio-economical level may be the main reasons which cause the contradictive result of this research and the previous research results. Based on the additional analysis, the author finds out that most of the fathers intend to not to get involve in doing activities that related directly to child's development.

Setiap orang menginginkan kebahagiaan untuk memudahkan mereka dalam mencapai tujuan hidup. Diener (2002) menyebutkan kebahagiaan juga disebut sebagai subjective well-being. Oleh karena itu, subjective well-being penting untuk semua orang terutama remaja yang berada pada fase krisis karena kehilangan ibu yang meninggal, bercerai, atau ibu sebagai buruh migran. Kondisi ini membuat anak terpaksa tinggal hanya bersama ayah. Ayah yang biasanya dipersepsikan kurang terlibat dalam kehidupan anak, dapat memprediksi subjective well-being mereka. Hal ini membuat keterlibatan ayah sangat penting untuk remaja. Remaja yang berada pada keluarga ayah tunggal banyak terjadi di Karawang, sehingga responden penelitian ini adalah 56 remaja awal berusia 12-15 tahun yang tinggal hanya bersama ayah di Karawang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah The Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (Watson, Clark, & Tellegan, 1988), dan Subjective Happiness Scale (Lyubomirsky & Lepper, 1999), Nurturant Fathering Scale dan The Father Involvement Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah simple regression. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan father involvement memprediksi afek positif dan perceived father’s involvement memprediksi afek negatif. ......Everyone wants happiness to facilitate them in achieving life's goals. Diener (2002) said happiness is also referred to as subjective well-being. Therefore, subjective well-being is important for everyone especially adolescents who are in the crisis phase because of the loss of a deceased mother, divorced, or mother as a migrant worker. This condition makes the child be forced to stay with the father. Fathers who are commonly perceived as less involved in child life, can predict their subjective well-being. This makes father’s involvement very important to them. Many adolescents in a single father family was in Karawang, so the respondents of this research was 56 early adolescents aged 12-15 years who lived only with the father in Karawang. The measuring instruments used are The Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (Watson, Clark, & Tellegan, 1988), and Subjective Happiness Scale (Lyubomirsky & Lepper, 1999), Nurturant Fathering Scale and The Father Involvement Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004). The analytical techniques used is simple regression. The results showed father involvement component predicted a positive affect and two component of perceived father's involvement predicted negative affect.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh parenting style terhadap resiliensi pada remaja dari keluarga miskin. Terdapat 213 remaja dari keluarga miskin yang terlibat sebagai partisipan penelitian. Mereka mengisi kuesioner parenting style yang dikembangkan oleh Lamborn et.al (1991) yaitu Parenting Style Questionnaire (PSQ) dan resiliensi diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur Resilience Scale 14 item (RS-14) yang dikembangkan oleh Wagnild dan Young (2009). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh parenting style yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi (Beta 0.293, sig. (p) = 0.000). Selain itu, melalui analisis tambahan, terdapat perbedaan mean parenting style yang signifikan pada jenis kelamin partisipan dan juga pada pekerjaan ibu. ......This study was conducted to see the effect of parenting style on adolescent resilience of poor families. There were 213 adolescents from poor families who are involved as participants. They filled out questionnaires about parenting style was developed by Lamborn et.al (1991), that is Parenting Style Questionnaire (PSQ), and resilience is measured by using measuring devices Resilience Scale 14 item (RS-14) developed by Wagnild and Young (2009). Result showed that there was a significant effect of parenting style on the resilience (Beta 0.293, sig. (p) = 0.000). Through additional analysis, the mean differences of parenting styles were significant on gender participants and also the mother's occupation.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara prestasi akademik dan keterlibatan ayah pada remaja Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Prestasi akademik diukur melalui nilai rapor semester I yang diperoleh responden dari sekolah, sedangkan pengukuran keterlibatan ayah dilakukan melalui the Father Involvement Scale (Reported) yang disusun oleh Finley dan Schwartz (2004). Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 263 remaja kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang berusia 13 hingga 15 tahun dan memiliki sosok ayah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara prestasi akademik dan keterlibatan ayah pada remaja Sekolah Menengah Pertama (r = -.026; n = 263; p > 0,05, two-tailed). Walau hasil penelitian tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara prestasi akademik dan keterlibatan ayah, namun tidak berarti ayah tidak memiliki peran pada prestasi akademik anak remaja. Di masa tersebut remaja masih memerlukan keterlibatan ayah guna mendukung pencapaian prestasi akademik yang optimal di sekolah. ...... This study examined the relationship between academic achievement and father involvement among junior high school students. Academic achievement was measured by students’ official school records, whereas the father involvement was measured by the Father Involvement Scale (Reported) (Finley & Schwartz, 2004). The participants of this study were 263 8th grade junior high school students who have a father and encompassing the age between 13 and 15 years old. The result of this study indicates that there is no significant relationship between academic achievement and father involvement among junior high school students (r = -.026; n = 263; p > 0,05, two-tailed). Furthermore, although the result of the study indicates no significant relationship between father involvement and academic achievement among junior high school students, but it does not mean that father does not have any role at all in student’s academic achievement, because during that period, adolescents still need father involvement in order to support the optimum academic achievement in their school.

[ABSTRAKbr Fenomena remaja melakukan perilaku agresif semakin banyak ditayangkan di media massa. Salah satu faktor penyebab remaja melakukan perilaku agresif yaitu kurangnya stabilitas emosi, yang terbentuk dari keterlibatan ayah dalam kehidupan sang anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterlibatan ayah dan perilaku agresif remaja madya. Pengukuran keterlibatan ayah dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur Father Involvement Reported Scale yang disusun oleh Finley dan Schwartz (2004), sedangkan perilaku agresif remaja diukur menggunakan Aggression Questionnaire yang disusun oleh Buss dan Perry (1992). Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 436 orang siswa-siswi SMA yang berusia 15-18 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterlibatan ayah dan perilaku agresif remaja madya (r=-0,117; p<0,05; two-tailed). Ditemukan pula adanya beberapa korelasi signifikan antara keterlibatan ayah dan dimensi-dimensi perilaku agresif. Terdapat hubungan signifikan negatif antara keterlibatan ayah dengan agresi fisik (r=-0,134; p<0,01; two-tailed) dan sikap permusuhan (r=-0,181; p<0,01; two-tailed); serta hasil signifikan positif antara keterlibatan ayah dengan agresi verbal (r=0,130; p<0,01; two-tailed).;Many adolescent aggressive behaviors appeared in media. One of the factors influencing those aggressive behavior is lack of emotional stability, which formed from father involvement in adolescent’s life. The purpose of this research is to examine the correlation between father involvement and middle adolescent aggressive behavior. Father involvement was measured by Father Involvement Reported Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004), whereas adolescent aggressive behavior was measured by Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perry, 1992). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara religious coping dan psychological well-being pada remaja panti asuhan di Jakarta. Banyaknya pengalaman negatif yang dialami oleh remaja panti asuhan, membuat remaja tidak berdaya yang berpengaruh pada kesejahteraan psikologis. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi remaja panti asuhan untuk mampu melakukan coping yang efektif agar psychological well-being mereka menjadi lebih baik, salah satunya dengan penggunaan religious coping. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional dengan menggunakan sampel remaja panti asuhan usia 12 - 20 tahun dan telah menetap setidaknya selama satu tahun di panti asuhan N = 138, laki-laki = 70. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Ryffs Scales of Psychological Well-Being untuk mengukur psychological well-being dan Brief RCOPE untuk mengukur religious coping. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara positive religious coping dan psychological well being r = .397, p < .01, dan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara negative religious coping dan psychological well-being r = -.194, p < .05. ......The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between religious coping and psychological well being in adolescents at orphanages in Jakarta. The number of negative experiences happened to adolescents in orphanages, it makes them helpless and affects their psychological well being. Therefore, it is important for them to be able in performing effective coping to enhance their psychological well being, one of the way by the use of religious coping. This study was correlational by using a sample of adolescents orphans aged 12 to 20 years and has been living for at least one year in an orphanage N 138, male 70. The instruments used in this study were Ryff 39 s Scales of Psychological Well Being to measure psychological well being and Brief RCOPE to measure religious coping. The result of correlation analysis shows that there is a significant positive correlation between positive religious coping and psychological well being r .397.

Tujuan penelitian ini ingin melihat hubungan antara school belonging dan subjective well-being in school pada remaja awal di pesantren. Banyaknya peraturan dan tuntutan di pesantren bukanlah hal mudah untuk dijalani oleh para remaja awal. Mereka sangat rentan melakukan berbagai pelanggaran di sekolah yang merupakan indikator rendahnya subjective well-being in school. Padahal subjective well-being in school yang tinggi akan meningkatkan keberhasilan akademik dan membuat mereka memiliki kesehatan mental serta fisik yang baik. Salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi subjective well-being in school adalah school belonging. Di pesantren, para siswa diharuskan tinggal bersama dan lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan teman-teman dan para guru dibandingkan sekolah lainnya, sehingga seharusnya school belonging yang mereka miliki tinggi. School belonging juga merupakan kebutuhan penting bagi para remaja awal. Dengan demikian, remaja awal di pesantren seharusnya memiliki school belonging yang tinggi yang akan berhubungan dengan subjective well-being in school mereka. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 167 siswa remaja awal dari 4 pesantren di wilayah Depok dan Bogor. School belonging diukur menggunakan Psychological Sense of School Membership Among Adolescents dan subjective well-being in school diukur menggunakan Brief Adolescents rsquo; Subjective Well-Being in School Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara school belonging dan subjective well-being in school pada remaja awal di pesantren.
The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between school belonging and subjective well being in school among early adolescents in pesantren. The number of rules and demands in pesantren is not easy for early adolescents. They are very vulnerable to violations in school that are indicators of low level subjective well being in school. In fact, high level of subjective well being in school can improve their academic success and have good mental and physical health. One important factor that affecting subjective well being in school is school belonging. In pesantren, students are required to live together and interact more with friends and teachers than any other school. That situation should make their school belonging higher. School belonging is an important needs for early adolescents. Thus, early adolescents in pesantren should have high level school belonging that will relate to their subjective well being in school. The respondents consisted of 167 early adolescents from 4 pesantren in Depok and Bogor. School belonging was measured using Psychological Sense of School Membership Among Adolescents and subjective well being in school were measured using the Brief Adolescents 39 Subjective Well Being in School Scale. The results showed a significant positive correlation between school belonging and subjective well being in school among early adolescents in pesantren.

Banyaknya faktor risiko yang mungkin dialami oleh remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan, membuat well-being pada mereka penting untuk diperhatikan. Salah satu faktor risiko tersebut adalah mereka tidak tinggal bersama orang tua. Oleh karena itu, peer attachment diasumsikan berperan penting dalam kehidupan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara peer attachment dan subjective well-being pada remaja panti asuhan di Jakarta. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional dengan melibatkan responden remaja berusia 12 hingga 18 tahun yang tinggal menetap di panti asuhan, di 5 wilayah di Jakarta N=132, L= 66. Terdapat tiga instrumen penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu Satisfaction with Life Scale SWLS untuk mengukur kepuasan hidup, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule PANAS untuk mengukur afek positif dan negatif, serta Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment Revised Version IPPA untuk mengukur peer attachment. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara peer attachment dan kepuasan hidup ,250, p0,01 serta afek negatif -,025, p>0,01. ......The well being of orphanage adolescents is important to be considered as there are numbers of risk factors that they may experience throughout their life. One of those risk factors is that they do not live with their parents. Therefore, peer attachment is assumed to take an important role in their life. The aim of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between peer attachment and subjective well being of orphanaged adolescents in Jakarta. This is a correlational study with adolescents from age 12 to 18 years living in orphanage in 5 area in Jakarta as a respondents N 132. Instruments used in this study are, Satisfaction with Life Scale SWLS to measure life satisfaction, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule PANAS to measure positive and negative affect, and Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment Revised Version IPPA to measure peer attachment. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer attachment and life satisfaction ,250, p0,01 and negative affect ,025, p 0,01.
