Tuntutan perkembangan yang ditambah dengan ketidakpastian selama pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) membuat mahasiswa tahun pertama berisiko mengalami kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan diri. Penelitian korelasional ini melihat hubungan mindfulness dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama selama PJJ dan peran openness to experience sebagai variabel yang memediasi. Hasil penelitian pada mahasiswa tahun pertama (N=394) menggunakan alat ukur SACQ, BFI, dan MAAS menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness berhubungan positif dengan college adjustment (β = 0,99; SE = 0,10; t = 10,21; p<0,05; CI = [0,80-1,18]) dan openness to experience memediasi hubungan tersebut secara parsial (β = 0,04; SE = 0,02; t = 2,00; p<0,05; CI = [0,00-0,09]). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan mindfulness dan college adjustment tetap dapat dipertahankan walaupun openness to experience tidak menjadi mediator. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan penelitian selanjutnya terkait pentingnya mindfulness dan openness to experience dalam membantu mahasiswa tahun pertama menyesuaikan diri. ......Development demands coupled with uncertainty during distance learning (DL) cause first-year undergraduate students at risk of facing difficulties in adjusting. This correlational study looks at the relationship between mindfulness and college adjustment in first-year undergraduate students during DL and roles of openness to experience as the mediating variable. The results of the study on first-year undergraduate students (N=394) using the SACQ, BFI, and MAAS as the measurement tools indicate that mindfulness is positively correlated with college adjustment (β = 0,99; SE = 0,10; t = 10,21; p<0,05; CI = [0,80-1,18]) and openness to experience partially mediates the relationship (β = 0,04; SE = 0,02; t = 2,00; p<0,05; CI = [0,00-0,09]). These findings indicate that the relationship between mindfulness and college adjustment can be maintained even though openness to experience does not mediate the relationship. This study can be considered as the basis for further research regarding the importance of mindfulness and openness to experience in helping first-year undergraduate students adjust to college.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur efektivitas dari pelatihan Sekolah Ramah Inklusi (SERASI) untuk menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa reguler terhadap Siswa Berkebutuhan Khusus (SBK) di sekolah dasar inklusif. Pelatihan SERASI didasarkan pada model sikap Triandis (1971) yang meliputi 3 komponen: kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku. Penelitian kuasi-eksperimental dengan pre- and post-nonequivalent control group dirancang untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan. Sebanyak 81 siswa berpartisipasi di dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan dibagi ke dalam kelompok kontrol (N = 48) dan kelompok eksperimental (N = 33). Kelompok eksperimen diberikan enam sesi pelatihan mengenai disabilitas. Materi pelatihan mengangkat topik mengenai disabilitas secara umum, disabilitas fisik, gangguan sensorik, disabilitas intelektual, kesulitan belajar dan autisme. Untuk mengukur efek dari pelatihan, Chedoke-McMaster Attitudes Towards Children With Handicaps (CATCH) digunakan untuk mengukur sikap siswa reguler dalam tiga kali pengukuran: sebelum pelatihan, sesaat setelah pelatihan, dan tiga bulan setelah pelatihan. Uji statistik T-test digunakan untuk menganalisa dampak pelatihan SERASI pada sikap siswa reguler terhadap SBK. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan sikap yang signifikan antara sebelum (M=50.48, SD=3.76) dan setelah (M=49.67, SD=4.54) pelatihan SERASI, t(32)=1.092, p=0.283 dan tiga bulan setelah pelatihan, t(32)=0.910, p=0.37. Selain itu, tidak ada pula perbedaan perubahan sikap baik sebelum dan setelah pelatihan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, t(32)=1.092, p=0.283, dan tiga bulan setelah pelatihan t(32)=0.910, p=0.37. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan SERASI belum efektif dalam menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa reguler terhadap SBK.


ABSTRACT

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of Sekolah Ramah Inklusi (SERASI) training in improving regular students' positive attitude toward students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary inclusive school. SERASI training is based on the Triandis model of attitudes which includes 3 components: cognitive, affective and behavioral. A quasi-experimental with pre- and post-nonequivalent control group was designed to examine the effectiveness of SERASI training. A total of 81 students participated in this study. Participants were divided into a control (n = 48) and an experimental group (n = 33). The experimental group attended six training sessions that spread in three-days. The training material covering topics about disabilities in general, physical disabilities, sensory disabilities, intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties, and autism. To establish the effect of the training program, Chedoke-McMaster Attitudes Towards Children With Handicaps (CATCH) were used to measure regular students' attitude at three moments: prior to the training, immediately after the training and three months after the training. A T-test was conducted to examine the impact of SERASI training to regular students' attitude toward students with SEN. The result shows that there was no significant difference between before (M=50.48, SD=3.76) and after (M=49.67, SD=4.54) the SERASI training t(32)=1.092, p=0.283, and three months after the training t(32)=0.910, p=0.37. Additionally, there was no significant difference between experimental and control group before to after training, t(32)=1.092, p=0.283, and three months after training, t(32)=0.910, p=0.37. Thus, the result did not suggest that SERASI training was an effective practice in promoting students' positive attitude toward students with SEN.

Dewasa muda adalah kelompok masyarakat yang menikmati kemudahan teknologi, sehingga rentan untuk memiliki aktivitas fisik yang cenderung rendah. Aktivitas fisik yang rendah di usia muda merupakan faktor risiko penyebab kematian akibat penyakit degeneratif di masa depan. Masyarakat Indonesia termasuk negara dengan aktivitas fisik yang rendah, sehingga diperlukan promosi kesehatan yang tepat sasaran dengan memperhatikan faktor psikologis. Trait kepribadian dianggap sebagai faktor psikologis kuat dalam identifikasi aktivitas fisik, khususnya trait extraversion, conscientiousness, dan openness. Namun demikian, hubungan ketiga trait ini terhadap aktivitas fisik masih belum konsisten, hal ini memungkinkan adanya variabel lain yang memediasi hubungan tersebut. Untuk mempertahankan konsistensi tingkah laku dibutuhkan otonomi yang tinggi, begitu juga konsistensi untuk aktif melakukan aktivitas fisik. Otonomi merupakan derajat yang menunjukkan seberapa individu memiliki determinasi diri untuk termotivasi melakukan tingkah laku tertentu, dan motivasi yang berasal dari dalam diri merujuk pada otonomi yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji mekanisme hubungan ketiga trait dengan aktivitas fisik melalui mediasi otonomi. Penelitian dilakukan melalui lapor diri pada 59 laki-laki dan 144 perempuan dewasa muda berusia 20-40 tahun. Melalui analisa process mediasi (Hayes) ditemukan adanya mediasi sempurna antara trait extraversi dengan aktivitas fisik melalui otonomi, dan mediasi sebagian antara trait openness dan aktivitas fisik melalui otonomi. Conscientiousness tidak signifikan memengaruhi aktivitas fisik baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Trait conscientiousness disarankan untuk diuji mediasi melalui presentasi diri terhadap aktivitas fisik.
Young adults are a group of community who enjoy technology, so it made them tend to have low physical activity. Low physical activity is a risk factor of degenerative diseases that cause death. Indonesia was a country that have lowest physical activity, so it's necessary to promote active physical activity to young adults by considering psychological factors. Personality was considered as a strong psychological factor that could predicted physical activity, especially extraversion, conscientiousness, and openness. However, their effects were still inconsistent, it allowed other variable to mediate their relationships. In order to maintain the consistency of behavior like physical activity, it required high autonomy. Autonomy is a degree to indicate how individual have self-determination to be motivated to perform certain behaviors, and the motivation was derived from inner-self that show high autonomy. This study aimed to examine the mechanisms of the trait effects to physical activity through the mediation of autonomy. The study was conducted by requiring data from self-report on 59 men and 144 young adult women aged 20-40 years. We analyzed the data by using mediation PROCESS (Hayes), and it was found a perfect mediation between extraversion and physical activity mediated by autonomy, and partially mediated of autonomy to the effects of openness and physical activity. However, conscientiousness did not significantly influence physical activity directly nor indirectly. Considering the communal culture of participants, we recommended to examine the effect of conscientiousness to physical activity through the mediation of self-presentation in future research.

Peran dan keterlibatan orang tua pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, khususnya di budaya kolektivis, berpengaruh terhadap perilaku anak dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier dan hal ini berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier anak karena kurangnya informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran career exploration dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian non-eksperimental. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 413 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari beberapa fakultas di Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior diukur dengan Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration diukur dengan Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), dan lack of information career decision-making difficulties diukur dengan Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa career exploration berperan secara parsial dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bahwa perilaku orang tua terkait karier anak yang dirasa mendukung (support) atau terlalu banyak mengatur (interference) dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier sehingga berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier mahasiswa karena kurangnya informasi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini memberikan beberapa manfaat bagi pusat pengembangan karier di perguruan tinggi.
The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student could have impact their future career success. In Indonesia, The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student are more caused by lack of information. The parents role and involvement among senior year college student, especially in collectivism culture, could affect their childrens behavior in searching information about career and this could have impacts to their career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. This research was conducted to find the role career exploration in mediating the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research is quantitative study with non-experimental study design. Participants of this research were 413 senior year college students from several faculties in Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior were measured by Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration was measured by Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), and lack of information career decision-making difficulties were measured by Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). The result shows that career exploration mediating partially the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research has implication that parents behavior that related to childrens career which is perceived supporting or interfering affects senior year college students behavior in searching information about career so that gives impact on their level of career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. Moreover, the results of this study give some benefits for career development center in university.

Setelah pandemi covid-19, peserta didik kembali belajar secara tatap muka di sekolah. Hanya saja terdapat permasalahan pada keterlibatan belajar peserta didik dalam menjalani proses belajar di kelas. Peserta didik dinilai memerlukan kemampuan keterlibatan belajar secara proaktif agar mampu menjalani proses pembelajaran secara efektif. Teacher autonomy support dan peer relatedness berperan pada keterlibatan proaktif peserta didik dalam menerima instruksi, berinisiatif dan menyuarakan pendapat di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran peer relatedness sebagai moderator hubungan antara teacher autonomy support dan agentic engagement peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 409 partisipan dari peserta didik SMA yang aktif belajar di sekolah. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Agentic Engagement Scale (AES), Learning Climate Questionnaire (LCQ) dan The Youth Relatedness Scale (TYRS) yang sudah diadaptasi dan diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia serta dimodifikasi sesuai dengan konteks penelitian. Berdasarkan perhitungan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), menunjukkan bahwa peer relatedness memiliki peran sebagai moderator dalam hubungan teacher autonomy support dan agentic engagement. Peer relatedness yang dirasakan peserta didik dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah hubungan antara teacher autonomy support dan agentic engagement peserta didik SMA setelah pandemi covid-19 (F hitung 241.825. p<0.05). ......After the Covid-19 pandemic, students returned to learning face-to-face at school. It's just that there are problems with students' learning involvement in the learning process in class. Students are assessed as requiring the ability to engage in proactive learning to be able to carry out the learning process effectively. Teacher autonomy support and peer relatedness play a role in students' proactive involvement in receiving instructions, taking initiative, and voicing opinions in the classroom. This research aims to understand the role of peer relatedness as a moderator of the relations between teacher autonomy support and agentic engagement of high school students. This research was conducted on 409 participants from high school students who were actively studying at school. The measuring tools used in this research are the Agentic Engagement Scale (AES), the Learning Climate Questionnaire (LCQ), and the Youth Relatedness Scale (TYRS) which have been adapted and translated into Indonesian and modified according to the research context. Based on Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) calculations, show that peer relatedness has a role as a moderator in the relations between teacher autonomy support and agentic engagement. Peer relatedness felt by students can strengthen or weaken the relations between teacher autonomy support and agentic engagement of high school students after the COVID-19 pandemic (F count 241.825. p<0.05).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas program psikoedukasi Ceria Bersama Anak Tunarungu dengan Membaca (Cermat Baca) untuk meningkatkan keyakinan membaca orang tua dengan anak tunarungu usia dini (4-8 tahun). Desain penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest design. Partisipan dari penelitian ini adalah orang tua mendengar (n=15) dengan anak tunarungu usia 4-8 tahun yang bersekolah di TKLB P di Jakarta. Program psikoedukasi Cermat Baca berlangsung 1 hari selama 4 jam. Keyakinan membaca orang tua diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur Parent Reading Beliefs Inventory (PRBI) oleh DeBaryshe dan Binder (1994) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Utomo et al. (2021). Hasil olah data pretest dan posttest 1 dengan metode Wilcoxon signed-rank test menunjukkan signifikansi nilai p sebesar 0,012 (p<0,05). Setelah jeda 2 minggu, hasil posttest 2 menunjukkan sedikit penurunan rata-rata skor partisipan dibandingkan posttest 1 namun hasil uji signifikansi tidak menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Dari hasil studi ini menekankan perlunya program intervensi yang berkesinambungan, materi program yang sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikan orang tua yang beragam, serta pemberian umpan balik kepada partisipan selama sesi program untuk meningkatkan keyakinan membaca orang tua dengan lebih baik dan dampak yang lebih lama. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi ilmiah dalam pengembangan program intervensi serupa untuk orang tua dalam rangka mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak tunarungu usia dini. ......This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the Ceria Bersama Anak Tunarungu Dengan Membaca (Cermat Baca) psychoeducation to increase the parental reading beliefs of early childhood deaf children (4-8 years). The design of this research is a one group pretest posttest design. Participants in this study are hearing parents (n=15) with deaf children aged 4-8 years who attended TKLB P in Jakarta. The Cermat Baca workshop was held in 1 day for a duration of 4 hours. Parental reading beliefs were measured using the Parent Reading Beliefs Inventory (PRBI) measuring tool by DeBaryshe and Binder (1994) which was adapted by Utomo et al. (2021). The results of pretest and posttest 1 data processing using the Wilcoxon sign-rank test method showed a significance value of p of 0.012 (p<0.05). After a 2-week break, the results of posttest 2 showed a slight decrease in the average participant score compared to protest 1 but the results of the significance test did not show significant results. Based on these results, Cermat Baca psychoeducation is effective in increasing parental reading beliefs of parents with early childhood deaf chidlren, although the cause of increasing score after a 2-week gap needs to be looked at more carefully. The results of this study emphasize the need for a sustainable intervention program, program materials that are suitable for parents from diverse educational backgroud, as well as feedback provision to participants during program sessions to increase parents' reading beliefs better and have a longer lasting impact. The results of this research can be used as a scientific reference in developing similar intervention programs for parents in regards to early childhood deaf children’s language skills development.

Perilaku plagiarisme adalah bentuk kecurangan akademik yang sering dijumpai di kalangan mahasiswa. Ethical awareness dan ethical intention merupakan proses yang berkaitan dengan perilaku plagiarisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran ethical awaremess dan ethical intention terhadap perilaku plagiarisme pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan alat ukur Moral Equity Scale untuk mengukur ethical awareness dan ethical intention, dan alat ukur Kecurangan Akademik untuk mengukur perilaku plagiarisme. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 504 Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai macam fakultas dan program vokasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ethical intention memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap perilaku plagiarisme (B=-0.28, p > .05), sedangkan ethical awareness tidak memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap perilaku plagiarisme pada mahasiswa (B=-0.012, p < .05). Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perilaku plagiarisme antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan (F=12.56, p=0.000). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai masukan bagi upaya preventif dan kuratif untuk Universitas Indonesia dalam mengurangi perilaku plagiarisme pada mahasiswa.
Plagiarism is a form of academic cheating that is often found among students. Ethichal awareness and ethical intention are processes related to plagiarism behavior. The aim of this study is to examine the role of ethical awareness and ethical intention towards plagiarism behavior among students in University of Indonesia. This study is a quantitative study that used Moral Equity Scale to measure ethical awareness and ethical intention, and Academic Dishonesty Scale to measure plagiarism behavior. Participants of this study were 504 students in University of Indonesia from different faculties and vocational program. The results of this study showed that ethical intention has a significant role on plagiarism behavior among students (B=-0.28, p > .05), where ethical awareness does not have a significant role on plagiarism behavior among students (B=-0.012, p < .05). The results of this study also found that, there were a differences between men and women students in plagiarism behavior (F=12.56, p=0.000). The implication of this study is as a preventive and currative means for Universitas Indonesia to decrease plagiarism behavior among students.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara romantic self-efficacy dan kualitas hubungan romantis pada dewasa muda yang berpacaran jarak jauh. Romantic self-efficacy didefinisikan sebagai keyakinan yang dimiliki individu akan kemampuannya sebagai pasangan untuk dapat terlibat dalam perilaku spesifik dalam hubungan romantis dan merespon secara efektif terhadap tuntutan tugas-tugas yang terdapat pada hubungan romantis. Kualitas hubungan romantis didefinisikan persepsi individu terhadap sejauh mana hubungan yang sedang dijalani memberikan atau tidak memberikan manfaat melalui pengalaman dan interkasi. Pengukuran romantic self-efficacy menggunakan alat ukur Self-Efficacy in Romantic Relationship (SERR) yang disusun oleh Riggio, Weiser, Valenzuela, Lui, Montes, dan Heuer (2011). Pengukuran kualitas hubungan romantis menggunakan alat ukur Partner Behavior as Social Context (PBSC) oleh Ducat dan Zimmer-Gembeck (2010). Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 490 individu usia dewasa muda yang sedang berpacaran jarak jauh. Melalui teknik statistic Pearson Correlation, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara romantic self- efficacy dan kualitas hubungan romantis yang signifikan.
This research was conducted to find the correlation between romantic self- efficacy and romantic relationship quality among young adulthood currently in a relationship. Romantic self-efficacy defined as beliefs in one`s capabilities as a relationship partner to engage in specific romantic relationship and responding effectively to demands in romantic relationship. Romantic relationship quality defined as positive or negative beliefs about one`s capabilities as a relationship partner to involve in specific actions in romantic relationship and to responses effectively toward task demands in romantic relationship. Romantic self-efficacy was measured using an instrument named Self-Efficacy in Romantic Relationship (SERR) made by Riggio, Weiser, Valenzuela, Lui, Montes, dan Heuer (2011). Romantic relationship quality was measured using an instrument names Partner Behavior as Social Context (PBSC) made by Ducat and Zimmer-Gembeck, 2010). Participants of this research were 490 young adulthood currently in a long- distance dating relationship. The Pearson Correlation indicates positive significant correlation between romantic self-efficacy and romantic relationship quality.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran keberfungsian keluarga terhadap hubungan antara stres akademis dengan gagasan bunuh diri pada mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keberfungsian keluarga adalah Family Assessment Device FAD versi 3. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur stres akademis adalah Educational Stress Scale for Adolescent ESSA . Kemudian, instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur gagasan bunuh diri adalah Suicide Ideation Scale SIS . Responden penelitian ini ada sebanyak 303 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode regresi Hayes, dan hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel stres akademis terhadap gagasan bunuh diri t 303 = 5.0403, p < 0.01 . Namun hasil perhitungan regresi yang dilakukan tidak menemukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara efek interaksi keberfungsian keluarga dan stres akademis terhadap gagasan bunuh diri t 303 = 1.2612, p > 0.05.
This study is conducted to search for the role of family functioning towards the relationship between academic stress and suicide ideation on University students. The instrument used to measure family functioning is Family Assessment Device FAD version 3. The instrument used to measure academic stress is the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescent ESSA. And the instrument used to measure suicide ideation is Suicide Ideation Scale SIS. The sample used for this study are students of the University of Indonesia. There are as much as 303 participants with the age ranging from 18 25 years old. The results of this study was obtained by using Hayes regression method. The results are that there is a significant correlation between academic stress and suicide ideation t 303 5.0403, p 0.01. But the result also shows that there is no significant correlation between the interaction effect of family functioning and academic stress towards suicide ideation t 303 1.2612, p 0.05.
