"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara makna kerja dengan manajemen diri pada pekerja yang mengalami putus hubungan kerja karena perusahaan tempatnya bekerja tidak lagi beroperasi karena pailit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif.
Hackman (1986) menggambarkan individu yang memiliki managemen diri yang tinggi sebagai individu yang memiilki inisiatif dan motivasi yang tinggi, juga tingkah laku yang produktif. O?keefe dan Berger (1999) mendefinisikan manajemen diri sebagai kemampuan seseorang untuk mengarahkan perasaan, perilaku dan pikirannya agar dapat mencapai apa yang ia inginkan.
Responden penelitian ini adalah 106 individu yang pernah mengalami putus hubungan kerja karena perusahaan tempatnya bekerja mengalami pailit. Responden berasal dari wilayah Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang dan Tangerang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala makna kerja dan skala manajemen diri.
Penelitian menunjukan bahwa manajemen pikiran merupakan satu-satunya domain manajemen diri yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan makna kerja. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi makna kerja akan semakin tinggi kemampuan seseorang untuk memanajemeni pikiran setelah kehilangan pekerjaan.

The purpose of this research to study the relationship between meaning of working and self management in people who lose their job because of Retrenchment. This research used quantitatif approach.
Hackman (1986) describe individuals with a high self management ability as individuals who has a high level motivation and productive behavior. O?Keefe & Berger (1999) define self management as the ability to take charge of our affect, behavior and cognition in order to accomplish our goal. It is directing oneself in a purposeful manner so that our reality begins to resemble our wish list.
Respondents of the study were 106 people who lost their job because of retrenchment from Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang and Tangerang. The data collected by using Self Management Scale and Meaning of Working. Results indicate that cognition was the only significant self management measure that was positively correlated with meaning of working measure.
This research were proven that self management and meaning of work is related and the a high meaning of work indicate a higher cognition management ability of an individual who lose a job."

"Teori downsizing digunakan oleh hunian rumah tangga pensiunan karena kebutuhan sebuah rumah pensiunan akan selalu berubah dan berkembang seiring dengan perubahan kondisi fisik, kesehatan dan finansial seseorang. Saat pensiunan kondisi fisik, kesehatan dan fungsional tubuh akan mengalami penurunan. Kondisi tersebut berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kebutuhan ruang, jumlah kebutuhan ruang maupun penurunan jarak antar ruang karena mobilisasi pensiunan yang semakin menurun yang disebut sebagai downsizing. Melihat pandangannya pada rumah tangga pensiunan di Indonesia rata-rata telah menerapkan downsizing namun belum terencana. Sehingga, timbullah suatu pertanyaan apakah downsizing dapat menjadi solusi sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan hunian rumah tangga saat pensiunan. Isu ini dianalisis dengan membahas makna dan esensi dari downsizing pada rumah tangga pensiunan. Pada akhirnya, downsizing pada rumah tangga pensiunan di Indonesia memiliki karakternya sendiri yang berbeda dari penerapannya pada negara lain.

Retired households use downsizing theory because the needs of a retirement home will constantly change and evolve along with changes in a person's physical, health, and financial condition. When we get retired, the physical condition, health, and function of the body will decline. This condition affects the decrease in space requirements, the amount of space required, and the distance between areas due to decreased retirees' mobilization, known as downsizing. Responding to this phenomenon on retired households in Indonesia, they have implemented downsizing but have not planned on average. So the question arises whether downsizing can be a solution to fulfill household housing needs when get retired. In the end, downsizing in retired households in Indonesia has a character that is different from its application in other countries."

"Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor risiko penyakit kardiovaskular dan tergolong ke dalam penyakit kronis, dimana jika tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menyebabkan komplikasi penyakit yang berujung pada kematian. Penanganan penyakit kronis perlu melibatkan peran aktif dari pasien yang dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan self-management. Dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, self-management dapat difasilitasi melalui penggunaan mHealth. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas mHealth dalam self-management hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review. Pencarian studi dilakukan dengan menggunakan online database yaitu PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan ProQuest. Terdapat 16 studi yang termasuk ke dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 9 studi menghasilkan penurunan tekanan darah yang dinilai signifikan dan terdapat sebanyak 8 studi yang menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif pada pola hidup pasien. Sehingga, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan mHealth efektif dalam penerapan self-management hipertensi.

Hypertension is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease and is classified as a chronic disease, which if not managed properly will cause complications of the disease that lead to death. The management of chronic diseases have to involve an active role from the patient which can be done through the application of self-management. Self-management can be facilitated by the use of mHealth which utilizes development in information and communication technology. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of mHealth in hypertension self-management. This study uses a literature review method. The study search was conducted using online databases, namely PubMed, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. There are 16 studies included in this study. The results of this study indicate that 9 studies resulted in a decrease in blood pressure which was considered significant and there were as many as 8 studies that showed positive changes in the patient's lifestyle. Thus, it can be inferred that the use of mHealth is effective in the application of hypertension self-management."

"The era of political reform in Indonesia that occurred since the year of 1998 is marked by the collapse of an authoritarian regime under President Suharto's. The reformation has resulted in many changes in the political field. These changes have provided an infrastructure to raise the level of civil society participation in political life. Other change is parliamentary system. Amended constitution stipulated that the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) consisting of member of the House of Representatives (DPR) and Regional Representatives Council (DPD). These changes imply that Indonesia is adopting a bicameral system (bicameralism) or a parliament with two assemblies. This fact has resulted in various changes in the political order in Indonesia either procedural or substantive. The effectiveness of parliamentary system is strongly influenced by the quality and competence of its members. The area of credibility and competency of its members is the main domain of the affiliated political parties. For this reason, the selecting process for cadres to serve as legislative candidates and programs that will be implemented is of paramount important. Base on the constitution and various statutory provisions that govern them, the parliament members are nominated by political parties. The political parties can also initiate a replacement of the member of parliament. Therefore in order to build the effective role of the parliament the function of political parties is crucial. Political parties should prepare their cadres systematically. Political parties should recruit the best available people in the country to serve in the parliament. The future cadres of political parties must be professional, understand the party vision, and having sufficient statecraft ship."

"An important aspect of the organization to improve the work ethos and productivity by giving employees the motivation and effort in motivating employees by providing compensation in the form of incentives. Work motivation Muslims are seeking the blessing of Allah and worth worship. The research aims to determine the relationship between incentives and work to worship with employee motivation at the Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital Ibnu Sina Balikpapan. The study was conducted in January 2015 using a questionnaire. Analyses were performed quantitative approach with cross sectional study design. This research sample 95 of 95 total population.
The results showed as much as 75.8% of respondents have a low work motivation, as well as the most dominant variable with work motivation is a variable communication with superiors. Suggested Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital has a policy of ensuring good communication with the boss as a forum for formal and informal meetings regulary with employees and optimize the religious forum to improve communication with superiors."
