"This study discuss about job satisfaction of managerial employee of PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco (CASMI). The reason is the current condition at CASMI shows high tumover of managerial level employee, low performance of managerial employee, and high absence level of managerial employee, that are related to job satisfaction. Author also gets Information ffom the books, joumai, and internet, which discuss about job satisfaction, the phenomena related to job satisfaction and how to measure job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has relationship to tumover, absence level, and performance, so if the company can measure and increase job satisfaction level, it can be increase the productivity.
Job satisfaction is strategic issue in company related to their human resources as one of the important asset. Because of job satisfaction level related to productivity, so the company always try to increase the job satisfaction level of their employee. If the company can increase job satisfaction level, the employee will have spirit to do the job. One concept that famous to study about job satisfaction in job descriptive index, it consist of five facet of job satisfaction, that are work itself (job), pay, supervision, promotion, working relations (co-workers). Beside those five facets, it can be combined with job in general to get information about satisfaction in general.
The conciusion from this study is five facets of job descriptive index significantly influence job satisfaction in general. For managers CASMI, job dimension and supervision dimension influence significantly to job satisfaction in general, that’s about 58,4 %. From this study, the author want to give information to top management about job satisfaction level of managers of CASMI, and what factors that influence job satisfaction of them, is there any difference in job satisfaction related to gender, age, education, working period, and status of managers in CASMI, so the company can do the right way to increase job satisfaction in the future to increase the productivity of company."

"Perubahan yang terjadi dalam dunia bisnis turut menjadi pemicu bagi organisasi untuk melakukan perubahan secara konstan dan terus menerus agar dapat mencapai sebuah kesuksesan. Efektivitas usaha perubahan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan untuk berubah. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesiapan untuk berubah merupakan hal yang penting bagi top management dalam perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, keterlibatan kerja, stres kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kesiapan untuk berubah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 403 orang karyawan PT Bank Y yang minimal telah bekerja selama dua tahun. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik regresi berganda pada SPSS 13.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang bermakna dari kepuasan kerja, keterlibatan kerja, stres kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kesiapan untuk berubah.

Change in businesses can be a trigger for organization to perform constant and continuous change in order to reach success in business. The effectiveness of change effort is influenced by readiness for change. Based on this fact, understanding about factors that may influence readiness for change is essential for top management in company. This research intends to investigate the influence of job satisfaction, job involvement, occupational stress, and organizational commitment on readiness for change. This research is ex-post facto research and use questionnaire as tool for collecting data. Participants in this research are 403 employees of PT Bank Y who have worked for minimum two years in that company. Acquired data was analyzed using multiple regressions as statistic technique in SPSS 13.0. The results showed that readiness for change is significantly influenced by job satisfaction, job involvement, occupational stress, and organizational commitment."

"ABSTRAK
This research is aimed to know about the employees? job satisfaction, the leadership of the managers, and the service quality condition of PT Daifuku Indonesia. The employees? job satisfaction refers to the common attitude of each individual towards his/her job. A person with high job satisfaction shows positive manner towards the job,
meanwhile an employee who is not satisfied with job shows negative manner towards it. There are at least four factors involved namely: work climate, fair award, promotion opportunity and relationship among colleagues. Leadership is an ability to influence a team to reach the target. The source of this influence can be formal, like what is shown by the managerial level ownership in an organization. The influence of leadership can be seen from the leader?s attitude, the environment contingency factor and the employee contingency factor. Service quality is the output quality of an organization that focuses on the customers? satisfaction. The better the service quality produced by an organization, the better the organization is in satisfying its customers. Attributes which are hoped by
customers from the service quality of an organization includes tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.
The method applied in this research is descriptive - qualitative method. The analysis is based on the data collected from employees and customers of PT Daifuku Indonesia as the respondents. The result of the descriptive ? qualitative analysis shows that job satisfaction, leadership and service quality are high enough. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that first, the job satisfaction of the
employees at PT Daifuku Indonesia has been high enough since in general the employees have felt satisfied with the fair and the leader?s behavior conception of the company. Second conclusion is that the leader?s role in PT Daifuku Indonesia towards job satisfaction level is effective enough because the leaders? behavior is vary based
upon neighbouring and subordinates contiguity factors. The third conclusion is that the participation of the employees and managers of PT Daifuku Indonesia in generating the service quality of the organization which was influenced by work satisfaction has been
proved high enough. The recent employees? participation has not been escorted by the communication competence and job overview so the service quality produced is not maximal yet. Service quality condition of PT Daifuku Indonesia has made the customers satisfied. The customer satisfaction is influenced by the customers? perception about the measurement of service quality and other neighbouring contiguity like the obstacles found in the custom office."

Tesis ini membahas tentang laporan proses business coaching atas pemecahan masalah terhadap gap aspek sumber daya manusia pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) PT Wijara Nagatsupazki. Terdapat 2 (dua) kesenjangan yang dipecahkan, yakni ketiadaan proses job analysis dan pemetaan kompetensi untuk alokasi sumber daya manusia, yang dinilai menjadi faktor penyebab menurunnya output PT Wijara Nagatsupazki. Ketiadaan job analysis mengakibatkan PT Wijara Nagatsupazki tidak dapat memformulasikan dokumen job description dan job specification, yang diperlukan bagi karyawan untuk memahami peran dan tanggung jawab yang dimiliki dengan seksama. Selain itu, ketiadaan job analysis mengakibatkan program pengembangan kemampuan karyawan yang diberikan tidak tepat sasaran. Ditambah lagi, ketiadaan pemetaan kompetensi mengakibatkan ketidaksesuaian alokasi penempatan karyawan pada pekerjaan yang tepat. Sebagai perusahaan penyedia layanan tool making yang berorientasi pada kualitas, aspek sumber daya manusia memegang peranan penting dalam menghasilkan produk berkualitas bagi konsumen PT Wijara Nagatsupazki. Setelah melalui proses business coaching, UMKM PT Wijara Nagatsupazki memiliki job analysis dan competency mapping sebagai instrumen untuk memastikan the right person at the right place, agar sumber daya manusia UMKM PT Wijara Nagatsupazki dapat menjadi comparative advantage resources yang memberikan competitive advantage bagi UMKM PT Wijara Nagatsupazki.

 


This thesis discusses the report of business coaching process for solving problems in human resources management, in a Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) named PT Wijara Nagatsupazki. There are 2 (two) gaps solved, which are the absence of job analysis process, and the lack of competency mapping for allocating human resources, These gaps are considered to be the root cause of PT Wijara Nagatsupazki's declining output. In the absence of job analysis, PT Wijara Nagatsupazki's could not formulate a job description and job specification documents for employees to fully understand their roles and responsibilities. This absence also resulted in the mismatch between employee development program and the human resources. In addition, the lack of competency mapping resulted in a mismatch of job allocations to the right people. As a tool making service provider company that is oriented to quality, human resources play an important role in producing high-quality products for clients. After going through the business coaching process, PT Wijara Nagatsupazki now has a job description, job specification, and competency mapping, as instruments to ensure the right person at the right place. This process is done so that PT Wijara Nagatsupazki’s human resources can be a comparative resource that provides a competitive advantage for PT Wijara Nagatsupazki .

"Penelitian ini berfokus pada kepuasan kerja pada polisi wanita yang berdinas di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Aspek yang ingin dilihat dari penelitian ini adalah hubungan stres dan kepuasan kerja. Stres dalam penelitian ini ada dua, yaitu stres kerja dan work-family conflict. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner dengan menitipkannya kepada rekan yang memiliki kenalan polisi wanita dan memberikan kuisioner di empat Polres, yaitu Polres Jakarta Timur, Polres Jakarta Pusat, Polres Jakarta Barat, dan Polres Depok. Dari 126 kuisioner yang disebar, hanya 88 partisipan yang datanya dapat diolah karena memenuhi kriteria partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik statistik yang digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson, yang betujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan yang berarti dari dua variabel (Guilford & Frutcher, 1978).
Dari analisis terhadap hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang negatif signifikan antara stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini berarti, semakin tinggi stres kerja yang dialami oleh polisi wanita maka semakin rendah kepuasan kerjanya dan sebaliknya; 2) Terdapat hubungan yang negatif signifikan antara work-family conflict dan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi work-family conflict maka semakin rendah kepuasan kerjanya dan sebaliknya.

This research focused on job satisfaction in policewomen works in Jakarta and surrounds. There are two aspects of stress this research seeks, the effect of work stress and work-family conflict on job satisfaction. The information acquired from questionnaire given to policewomen in two ways. First way is by giving them through some contact persons. Secondly, researcher came directly to four Police Resorts (Three Police Resorts in Jakarta and one Police Resort in Depok). From 126 questionnaires given, only 88 can be counted statistically because they met the requirements of this study. By using Pearson's Product Moment Correlation, researcher can find out the correlation between two variables (Guilford & Frutcher, 1978).
The following are two research results: 1) there are negative and significant correlations between stress work and job satisfaction. This means higher stress work correlated with lower job satisfaction and reverse; 2) there are negative and significant correlations between work-family conflict and job satisfaction. It refers that higher work-family conflict correlated with lower job satisfaction and reverse."

"Sumber daya manusia memiliki peranan yang sangat peting dalam mengembangkan dan mencapai sasaran perusahaan. Keberadaan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dapat menjadi bumerang bagi perusahaan jika tidak disertai dengan perencanaan dan pengendalian sumber daya manusia itu sendiri. Untuk mempertahankan karyawan yang berkualitas, perusahaan harus mampu menciptakan kondisi keseimbangan antara pencapaian tujuan perusahaan dan pencapaian tujuan individu karyawan-karyawannya dimana salah satu tujuan karyawan bekerja adalah tercapainya kepuasan dalam bekerja. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan untuk mencapai memotivasi karyawan untuk rneningkatkan kinerjanya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi existing dari persespsi pegawai PT. Multi Jaya Perkasa mengenai kebijakan penggajian yang dirasakan oleh pegawai, serta mengukur hubungannya dengan tingkat kepuasan mereka dengan kebijakan penggajian yang mereka rasakan. Dalam penelitian ini juga akan dilihat secara eksplorati formulasi kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh pihak Manajemen PT. Multi Jaya Perkasa dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Point-System.
Penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa strategi kompensasi perusahaan harus mencakup empat komponen utama yaitu: internal alignment, external alignment, external competitiveness, employee contribution and administration. Sistem kompensasi yang baik adalah yang dapat memenuhi keadilan internal dan eksternal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan point system lebih banyak digunakan daripada metode lainnya.
Hipotesis yang diajukan dafam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikans antara Sistem Penggajian dengan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan di PT. Multi Jaya Perkasa. Responden yang diikut sertakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 72 orang.
Dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dilakukan pengumpulan data untuk kemudian dianalisis dengan metode statistika Analisis Korelasi Rank Spearman. Sebelum analisis ini dibuat, dilakukan terlebih dahulu analisis Validitas dan Analisis Reliabilitas menggunakan Korelasi Item Total Rank Spearman dan Koefisien Reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach.
Hasil anatisis meriunjukkan bahwa seluruh item yang digunakan dalam kuesioner penelitian memiliki tingkat Validitas dan Reliabilitas yang baik, dan dapat dilanjutkan untuk analisis. Hasil analisis korelasi Rank-Spearman yang dilakukan terhadap variabei Sistem Penggajian dan Kepuasan Kerja, diperoleh nilai korelasi yang cukup kuat yaitu sebesar 0,684 atau 68,4%.
Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap sistem penggajian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum karyawan cukup puas dengan sistem panggajian yang berlaku di penisahaan saat ini, meskipun terdapat kecenderungan para karyawan yang kurang puas dengan gaji yang diterima saat ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan kompensasi yang efektif, pertu dilakukan evaluasi pekedaan yaitu dengan menggunakan informasi. melalui analisis pekerjaan berdasarkan bobot relatif dari masing-masing pekerjaan, untuk menjamin keadilan internal. Dengan evaluasi jabatan ini akan menentukan pekerjaan mana yang memiliki nilai lebih tinggi daripada lainnya. Analisis ini merupakan dasar untuk menentukan hirarki pekerjaan dan rentang gaji karyawan, sehingga diharapkan dapat diperoleh sistem penggajian yang wajar dan adil.

Human resources have the most important role in developing ang realizing company target. The existente of qualified human resources can be boomerang for a company if it is not accompanied with planning and control of Duch human resources. For maintaining the qualified employee, company should be able to create balance condition between the realization of company objective and the realization of employee objectives where one of the objectives of employee to work is the realization of work satisfaction.
The purpose of this research is aimed to reveal the views of PT. Multi Jaya Perkasa's employees as well as their satisfaction level of the salary system applied in the company.
One of the ways can be done by company for realizing the motivation of employee in for increasing their performance according to this research that company compensation strategy shall cover four main components, namely: internal alignment, external alignment, external competitiveness, employee contribution and administration. Good compensation system is those which can able to fulfill both internal and external justice. The result of research shows that point system is used more than other methods.lt also seek to explore the policy blueprint in the management of PT Multi Jaya Perkasa, which was analyzed using Point-System methods.
The key hypothesis in this research is (to analyze) whether there is a significant correlation between the salary system and the working satisfaction in PT Multi Jaya Perkasa. Seventy-two respondents involved in this research.
The data was collected through questionnaires, which was then analyzed using statistic method of Rank Spearrnan Correlation Analysis. The validity and reliability analysis of the total Rank Spearrnan Correlation and Alpha Cronbach Reliability-Coefficients were performed before the analysis was made.
The findings show that-all-the-items used in -the research questionnaires have a good level of validity and reliability. it can be carried out for further analysis.
The outcome of Rank-Spearman correlation analysis towards the variable of salary systems and working-satisfaction shows a strong correlation level, which are 0,684 or 68,4 percent.
The result of research already conducted on salary system shows that generally employees were enough satisfied with the applicable salary system at company in this current time, although it was found a tend that the employees were less satisfied with the salary accepted in this time. For realizing the compensation objective effectively, it needs to be conducted work evaluation with way of using information through job analysis based on relative quantity from respective job, for assuring the internal justice. With evaluation this position it can be determined which job has the higher value than others. This analysis represents basic for determining job hierarchy and employee salary range, so that it is expected can be obtained adequate and fair salary system."

"Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meneliti hubungan antara job insecurity dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan outsourcing. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 171 orang karyawan outsourcing. Job insecurity adalah ketidakamanan yang dirasakan seseorang mengenai kelanjutan pekerjaan dan aspek-aspek penting yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan karena adanya ancaman situasi dari pekerjaan yang sedang dijalaninya saat ini. Sedangkan kepuasan adalah perasaan senang atau tidaknya seseorang terhadap pekerjaannya, baik secara keseluruhan maupun terhadap tiap-tiap aspek dalam pekerjaan sebagai hasil penilaian dan perbandingan yang dilakukan individu terhadap pekerjaan yang akan mengarahkannya pada tingkah laku tertentu. Karyawan outsourcing, yaitu karyawan yang digunakan untuk bekerja disuatu perusahaan yang diperoleh dari perusahaan penyedia tenaga kerja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ternyata job insecurity memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja.

The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction on outsourcing employees. The respondent in this research was 171 outsourcing employees. The definition of job insecurity is a sense of powerlessness to maintain desired continuity in a threatened job situation. Job satisfaction is how people feel abut their jobs and different aspects of their jobs. It is extent to which people like (satisfaction) or dislike (dissatisfaction) their jobs. The respondent in this research are the outsourcing employees, that is the employee who was used to work at the company that was received from the provider's company of manpower. Results of this research showed that evidently job insecurity had relations that were negative and significant towards job satisfaction."

"Penelitian ini berusaha melihat hubungan antara konflik kerja-keluarga dan kepuasan kerja pada karyawati di perusahaan Ritel. Konflik kerja-keluarga merupakan sebuah konflik peran yang terjadi apabila tekanan dari peran seseorang di pekerjaan tidak sesuai dengan tekanan dari peran yang ia jalani di keluarga sehingga pemenuhan tuntutan pada satu peran menyulitkan pemenuhan tuntutan pada peran lainnya, sedangkan kepuasan kerja adalah kumpulan sikap dan perasaan, yakni bagaimana seseorang merasakan pekerjaannya dan merasakan berbagai aspek dari pekerjaannya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 102 orang dan merupakan karyawati yang berasal dari 7 perusahaan ritel di Jakarta.
Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur work-family conflict scale untuk mengukur konflik kerja-keluarga dan job satisfaction survey untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja. Kedua alat ukur tersebut telah diadaptasi dan merupakan hasil dari penelitian sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan korelasi Pearson Product Moment two tailed, didapatkan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,490 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Artinya, ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara konflik kerjakeluarga dan kepuasan kerja pada karyawati di perusahaan ritel. Tingkat konflik kerja-keluarga partisipan dalam penelitian ini tergolong rendah, sedangkan tingkat kepuasan kerja partisipan tergolong tinggi.
Berdasarkan dua arah konflik kerja-keluarga, work interfering with family (WIF) merupakan penyumbang yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan family interfering with work (FIW) dalam hal penurunan kepuasan kerja. Strain-based WIF dan behavior-based FIW juga memberikan sumbangan efektif dalam hal penurunan kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, ditemukan pula adanya hubungan antara usia partisipan dan kepuasan kerja, perbedaan kepuasan kerja berdasarkan masa kerja, serta tidak adanya perbedaan konflik kerjakeluarga pada sampel berdasarkan jumlah jam kerja perminggu, jumlah anak, dan usia anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran diberikan kepada pembuat kebijakan dalam perusahaan untuk meninjau waktu kerja, beban kerja, dan prosedur kerja, dan karyawati untuk menyusun strategi pengaturan waktu.

This study correlates work-family conflict and job satisfaction among women worker in retail company. Work-family conflict is a form of interrole conflict in which the role pressure from the work and family domains are mutually incompatible in some respect. While job satisfaction is a constellation of attitude and feeling about how people feel about their jobs and different aspects of their job. The participants of this research are 102 women worker come from 7 retail companies in Jakarta who had children younger than 13 years.
The researcher use the work-family conflict scale to measure workfamily conflict and use job satisfaction survey to measure job satisfaction. Both scales are adapted from previous researches. The computation using two tailed pearson product moment, results coefficient of correlation -0,490 with signification 0,000 (p<0,05) which indicates that work-family conflict negatively correlates with job satisfaction. Participants in this research have a low level of work-family conflict and high level of job satisfaction. Based on direction of work-family conflict, work in terfering with family is a stronger predictor than family interfering with work.
Based on form of conflict, strain-based WIF and behavior-based FIW are the strongest predictor. There are correlations between career stage, age of participant and job satisfaction. There are no correlation between number hours working perweek, child?s age, number of children and work-family conflict. The suggestion are given to tha policy maker to observe the work-schedule, workload and work procedure, and to participant to arrange strategy of time management."
