"Work satisfaction is a pre-condition for productivity, work quality responsiveness, and customer services enhancement (Kaplan & Norton, 1996: 112). An employee satisfied with his/her work and all aspects of the environment will have positive work behavior in completing the organizational tasks and will give positive impact on task performance. Human resources at Secretariat Directorate General HAKI today cannot escape from the vast dynamics of change. The ever fast growing of technology development and work structure which demand more efficiency demanded employees to adapt. Not all employees can adjust in a short time and many of them became contra-productive, such as taking day-offs, have many backlogs, etc. This symptoms assume to DB forms of work dissatisfaction. Work load of the Secretariat which supported other units work activity had to pay attention to aspect of today work design. Work characteristic approach is one of the many approaches used in determining the employees' opinion toward work and aspects surrounding them. The aim of this research is to determine how the relation between work characteristic and work satisfaction. The existing literatures mentioned the existence of relation between work characteristic (Hackman & Oldham, 1976) to work satisfaction (Spector 1 997: 30).
The population of this research is employees at Secretariat Ditjen HAKI. Total respondents of this research are 59 people. This research used survey and questioner method. Two questioners are used, work characteristic and work satisfaction questioners. Data is analysed by simple correlation and multiple correlation analyses. Validity and reliability data shown questioners items used get above margin score.
Correlation test result shown there is a positive and significant relation between the seven dimensions of work characteristic (work firmness. skill variety, autonomy, task identity, work significant, feed back, duty) with work satisfaction. This fault ls similar with previous research done by Spector (19972 4). An important finding from this research is that work dimension is the strongest dimension related to employees' work satisfaction (0,710). While the multiple correlation score to determine the relation between work characteristic and work satisfaction is 0.797 and proven to be signilicant.
This finding can be used bythe management of Secretariat of Ditjen HAKI in improving the employees' performance through work characteristicapproach. Improvement on dimensions of work characteristic which have potentials in enhancing work satisfaction. such as giving support and spirit as well as giving attention to daily employees? problem are ways to directly involved with enhancing work satisfaction level."

"Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pada divisi sumber daya manusia PT Surveyor Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 7 indikator dari sedarmayanti untuk lingkungan kerja dan 2 indikator dari Michigan assesement quetionnaire (Camman, Fichman, Henkins dan Klesh,1979) untuk kepuasan kerja. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara survey, yang menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi terdiri dari 40 orang, yang berarti menggunakan total sampling. Peneliti menggunakan factor analisi untuk mengukur validitas dan Cronbach?s alpha untuk realibilitas.Untuk mengetahu hubungan ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara kedua variabel maka digunakan teknik analisis spearman. Hasil dari pengukuran tersebut ditemukan bahwa hubungan lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat. Saran dari peneliti untuk perusahaan ialah untuk meningkatkan beberapa hal untuk menciptakan kepuasan kerja pada karyawannya.

This study focuses on finding the reationship between work environment with job satisfaction at human resources division PT Surveyor Indonesia. Research used 7 (seven) indicators from Sedarmayanti for work environment and 2 (two) indicators from Michigan assesement quetionnaire (Camman, Fichman, Henkins dan Klesh,1979) for job satisfaction. This research used quantitative method. Data were collected by survey, namely by questionnaire. Population amounted to only 40 people; hence level of sample is equal with level population. Researcher used factor analysis to ensure validity of research and Cronbach's alpha for reliability. Relation between work environment and job satisfaction was checked with Correlation of Spearman. Result revealed that correlation between work environment and job satisfaction at human resources division PT Surveyor Indonesia quite strong. Researcher suggests that company should improve several things to increase job satisfaction of every employee."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan unutk mengetahui bagaimana suatu variabel Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan dengan Motivasi Kerja pegawai di Divisi Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Kantor Wilayah Departemen Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia DKI Jakarta.
Dalam penulisan ini diajukan tiga hipotesis. Pertama adalah adanya Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, di Divisi Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Kantor Wilayah Departemen Hukum dan HAM DKI Jakarta, Kedua adalah Kepemimpinan dalam rangka mendorong dan meningkatkan efektifitas dan produktivitas kinerja pegawai, Ketiga adalah dengan semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja dan kepemimpinan akan memotivasi kinerja pegawai daiam meningkatkan efektivitas, produktivitas dan kualitas kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini terilhami dari adanya teori Amstrong tentang kebutuhan intrinsik dan entrinsik, di mana setiap proses organisasi untuk mencapai tujuannya harus memenuhi suatu kebutuhan dan memberikan suatu motivasi sumber manusianya yang ada di dalamnya untuk pengembangan organisasi tersebut.
Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai di lingkungan Divisi Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Kantor Wilayah Departemen Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia DKI Jakarta. Data penelitian ini menggunakan Modul/Program Analisis dari SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) for Windows, dari penelitian tersebut mendapatkan hasil bahwa faktor Kepuasan Kerja dengan Motivasi Kerja mempunyai hubungan positif yang signifikannya cukup baik, dan koefisien korelasinya dan koefisien determinasinya juga cukup baik, untuk variabel Kepemimpinan dengan Motivasi kerja juga didapatkan hasil cukup baik atau mempunyai hubungan yang cukup baik dengan koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasinya juga cukup baik artinya mempunyai korelasi atau hubungan positif, demikian halnya kedua variabel secara bersama-sama yaitu Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan dengan Motivasi mempunyai korelasi yang cukup baik dengan koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasinya cukup baik. Semakin baik tingkat hubungan Kepuasan Kerja ataupun Kepemimpinan baik sendiri-sendiri atau secara bersamaan dengan Motivasi Kerja akan semakin baik manfaatnya dalam peningkatan kualitas kinerja pegawai.
Demikian gambaran umum hasil penelitian penulis, mudah-mudahan dapat bermanfaat dan bahan renungan atau catatan baik itu untuk semua pihak dan sekaligus sebagai bahan evaluasi dalam peningkatan kinerja pegawai pada Divisi Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Kantor Wilayah Departemen Hukum dan HAM DKI Jakarta.
Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat baik dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan ataupun kepentingan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan kerja organisasi khususnya.

This research aims to explore how variables of Job Satisfaction and Leadership relate to the motivation of work of the Employee in the Law Service and Human Rights Division in the District Office of Department of Law and Human Rights DKI Jakarta.
In this writing is raised [by] three hypothesis, First is the existence of Job Satisfaction Officer in improving officer performance, in the Law Service and Human Rights Division in the District Office of Department of Law and Human Rights DKI Jakarta, second is Leadership for the agenda of pushing and improving officer performance productivity and effectiveness, Third is with excelsior satisfaction of leadership and job will motivate officer performance in improving effectiveness, quality and productivity work officer. This research is inspired from existence of opinion thrown by Amstrong (2003:45), concerning intrinsic requirement and extrinsic, where each; every organizational process to reach the target of him have to fulfill a requirement and give a motivation of source of the human being for the development of organization.
this Research population is all officers in the Law Service and Human Rights Division in the District Office of Department of Law and Human Rights DKI Jakarta. This Data Research use Module/program analyze from SPSS (Statistical Product Service Solution and) Windows for Ver.13, of the research get result of that factor Satisfaction of Job with Motivation Job have positive relation which isn't it good enough him, and the correlation coefficient of and the coefficient of good enough him also, for the variable of Leadership with motivation work was also got by good enough result or have good enough (relation/link) with the correlation coefficient and coefficient of good enough him also mean having positive relation or correlation, that way the things of both variable by together that is Satisfaction of Job and Leadership with Motivation have good enough correlation with the correlation coefficient and coefficient of good enough him, Good progressively relation storey; level Job Satisfaction and or good Leadership by self or concurrently with Job Motivation will good progressively the benefit of in improvement of officer performance quality.
That way the image of public result of research of writer, hopefully can useful and contemplative materials or that good note for all sides and at the same time upon which evaluate in improvement of officer performance at Division in the District Office of Department of Law and Human Rights DKI Jakarta.

"Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di PDAM Kota Singkawang saat ini masih merupakan kendala dan memperoleh nilai pencapaian kriteria terendah dibandingkan dengan aspek keuangan, aspek pelayanan, dan aspek operasi berdasarkan laporan BPPSPAM. Tesis ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kinerja SDM dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai. Analisis data menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Variabel Kinerja SDM yang terdiri dari atribut Karakteristik Individu, Karakteristik Organisasi, dan Karakterisitik Pekerjaan mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan Kepuasan Kerja. Karakteristik individu merupakan variabel yang dominan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dengan indikator pengaruh paling kecil adalah motivasi. Indikator kepuasan kerja yang perlu mendapat perhatian adalah teman sekerja dan promosi. Sehingga saran rekomendasi yang diperlukan adalah meningkatkan motivasi pegawai.

Performance of Human Resources ( HR ) in Singkawang PDAM is still a constraint and obtain the lowest value of the achievement criteria compared to the financial aspects , service aspects , and aspects of the operation based on the BPPSPAM report. This thesis aims to analyze the relation of performance of the HR with employee job satisfaction. Data analyse using Structural Equation Model (SEM).
The results showed variable performance attributes of human resources consisting of Individual Characteristics , Organizational Characteristics and Job Characteristics have a significant relationship with job satisfaction. Individual characteristics are dominant variable affecting job satisfaction, while indicator that has least influence is the motivation. Job satisfaction indicators that need attention are co-workers and promotion. So the recommendations from this study is to increase motivation."

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan partisipasi pegawai, komunikasi, penyelesaian konflik dan desain pekerjaan dengan kepuasan kerja.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Badan PPSDM Kesehatan, Kementerian Kesehatan RI, pada bulan Maret sampai dengan April 2013. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional, melibatkan 97 responden yang dipilih secara sistematik. Kuesioner yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner tertutup dan telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya dengan teknik pearson product moment dan teknik cronbach alpha. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji Chi-Square dan analisis regresi melalui teknik komputasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pegawai yang menyatakan “tidak puas” lebih banyak dibandingkan yang “puas”. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara komunikasi, penyelesaian konflik dan desain pekerjaan dengan kepuasan kerja, tidak ada hubungan antara partisipasi pegawai dengan kepuasan kerja. Penyelesaian konflik adalah faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menyarankan agar instansi meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai melalui faktor komunikasi, penyelesaian konflik dan desain pekerjaan.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between employee participation, communication, conflict resolution and job design with employee satisfaction.
The study conducted in Board of Human Resources Development and Empowerment The Ministry of Health The Republic of Indonesia in March until April 2013. The research used quantitative method with cross-sectional design, involved 97 respondents sistematically picked. The data was collected through a closed questionnaires. The reliability and validity instrument had been tested using pearson product moment technic and cronbach alpha technic. Chi-square and regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses through computation technic.
The results showed that employees who expressed satisfaction with the work "unsatisfied" job satisfaction more than "satisfied". Statistical test results showed an association between communication, conflict resolution and job design with job satisfaction and there is no relationship between employee participation and job satisfaction. Conflict resolution is the most dominant factor associated with job satisfaction.
Based on the research results, the researchers suggested that the Board of Human Resources Development and Empowerment The Ministry of Health improve employee job satisfaction by factors of communication, conflict resolution and job design."

"This research if aimed at researching the problems of organization by investigating influence of career development system, job motivation, and employee capability in fulfilling employee formation as research object. Hypothesis of this research is formulated based on both theory and related concepts and research on formation fulfilling as Implementation from organization as one of strategic human resource managerial function.
Organizing as one of starting point to planning and actuating of work, setting, formulation and its implementation is should be observed clearly and exactly in order to organization steps may be realized both effectively and efficiently. Organizing should be initiated by formation analysis, so, it will be found measurement standard in placing the competent and right man in fulfilling formation having correlation wish employee capability, their performance motivation and leadership capability in directing and dividing jobs. Periodically, the employee?s capability is evaluated for measuring and Knowing the exact career building and giving award for their achievement. As well as system treatment of career development to give evaluation and job satisfaction both clearly and obviously, it will become motivation for increasing career in the future.
The date gathered from 70 respondents who fulfill and return questloners spread for 100 samples representing all population of 704 employees from 6 bureaus (job unit). Non parameters statistic had been used for testing associative technique with correlation technique. Correlation in which the correlation is said significant when correlation coefficient values > 0.001.
Research result had Indicated that influence of job motivation, career development system and employee capability, significantly, it played role in fulfilling formation at General Secretariat of Legal and Human Right Ministry of Republic of Indonesia. As to variable correlation values among those four variable, i.g, Formation fulfilling with career development system is 0580, correlation value among Formation Fullllllng and Job Motivation is 0503, whereas, correlation among Formation Fulfilling and Employee Capability is 0.555. lt may be said that when Development System of career is better, it also will be larger of opportunity of an employee for obtaining formation as building manifestation, increasing career, the success of human resource empowerment, and he stronger job motivation of employee the larger opportunity for fulfilling formation. Continuously, the employee will try to exist in their job in order to satisfy their desire to post their position; and the higher of capability employee to work will give a larger opportunity because selection is conducted within framework to recruit leader candidates by employee capability test."

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis analisis jabatan di Direktorat Jenderal Hak Asasi Manusia (Ditjen HAM ) dalam hal ini implementasi analisis jabatan pada proses penempatan pegawai Direktorat Jenderal Hak Asasi Manusia dan faktor-faktor lain yang turut mempengaruhi proses penempatan pegawai selain berdasarkan analisis jabatan.
Penelitian studi implementasi analisis jabatan di Ditjen HAM adalah penelitian kualitatif yang pengumpulan datanya didapat melalui wawancara mendalam dengan narasumber yang berkompeten di Ditjen HAM yaitu para Pejabat Eselon Dua dan Kepala Bagian (Kabag) kepegawaian Ditjen HAM. Proses wawancara mendalam dilakukan berdasarkan pedoman wawancara yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Hasil wawancara dibuat transkrip wawancara dan dianalisis kemudian ditarik kesimpulan.
Dari penelitian ini dan setelah dianalisis bahwa penempatan pegawai baik itu mutasi maupun promosi yang dilaksanakan di Ditjen HAM belum berdasarkan analisis jabatan. Hal ini dikarenakan analisis jabatan sendiri untuk Ditjen HAM masih dalam penyusunan karena Direktorat Jenderal ini mengalami perubahan nomenklatur sehingga menyebabkan adanya perubahan tugas pokok dan fungsi (tupoksi) dari tiap-tiap direktorat yang ada di Ditjen HAM, sehingga analisis jabatan perlu disusun lagi disesuaikan dengan tupoksi yang baru.
Penempatan pegawai karena belum berdasarkan analisis jabatan maka penempatan pegawai selama ini di Ditjen HAM dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor. Tiga faktor yang paling dominan adalah faktor pimpinan, faktor sumber daya manusia itu sendiri dan faktor struktur organisasi. Sedangkan faktor yang kurang dominan tapi juga mempengaruhi penempatan pegawai di Ditjen HAM adalah faktor prosedur penempatan pegawai, dalam hal ini Bapeijakat. Baperjakat dalam hal ini belum sepenuhnya dipakai dalam setiap proses penentuan penempatan pegawai Ditjen HAM.

This research is to analyze whether job analysis is already implemented on replacement staff in Directorate General of Human Rights or not yet and which factor beside job analysis that influence processing replacement staff on promotion or mutation.
This research is qualitative research, which is collecting of data through deep interview with competent respondents. They are directors and head of human resource department of Directorate General of Human Rights. Interview with term of reference that already arranged before that interview do. After interview has done, transcript of interview made, analyze and made some conclusion.
From this research has known that the replacement of staff in Directorate General of Human Rights, mutation or promotion that all this time already happen have not based on job analysis yet. This had been happen because job analysis is not already used on, still in progress. This Directorate had changed structure of organization and also changed the main task and function all of each directorate on Directorate General of Human Rights, and this consequence made that a job analysis has to redesign.
The replacement of staff in Directorate General of Human Rights is not already based on job analysis, it based influence by four factors. The factor that dominant influence the replacement staff in Directorate General of Human Rights is leadership, human resources and structure of organization and the last factor that not influence too much is procedure of replacement, in this case are Baperjakat meeting. Baperjakat meeting is not used completely in process the replacement staff in Directorate General of Human Rights.

"ABSTRAK
Thesis ini membahas tentang pembagian pekerjaan dan dokumentasi jabatan di bengkel ProQ, serta analisis proses bisnis yang telah dijalankan oleh ProQ. Tujuan utama dari Business Coaching ini adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh bengkel ProQ dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan. Adapun yang menjadi prioritas dari pengembangan bengkel ProQ ini menitikberatkan pada aspek Sumber Daya Manusia khususnya pada pembagian pekerjaan dengan menggunakan matriks akuntabilitas dan juga dokumentasi jabatan yang kemudian dituangkan ke dalam uraian jabatan untuk semua jabatan yang ada di bengkel ProQ.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses about the job mapping and distribution and also job analysis in ProQ, as well as the business process analysis. The main objectives of this business coaching is to develop the potential of ProQ from the analysis that has been done. As the priorities of the development of Human Resource Management is to distribute the job equally through accountability matrix and job documentation using the job analysis for all jobs in ProQ."
