"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara workload berdasarkan perhitungan time study dengan quality of work life melalui pemberian intervensi job redesign, Penelitian dilakukan pada seorang Supervisor Cost Control divisi Operational Budget Departement Adminislration Plantation Operation PT.X dengan menggunakan before-after study design (pretest-post test). Pengolahan data workload dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik time study, sedangkan pengolahan data qualily of work life dilakukan dengan menghitung mean jawaban responden. Dari hasil telaah pada item dalam dimensi quality af work life didapatkan adanya peningkatan skor item pada hasil post test sebesar 0, 6975. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara workload dengan qualty of work life pada Supervisor Cost Control

The purpose of this study is to see correlation between workload, based on time study technique and the quality of work life through applying job redesign interventions. This study was conducted with one respondent working as Supervisor Cost Control Division Operational Budget in Administration Plantation Operations Department PT.X by using before-after study design (pretest-post test), Workload was analyzed using time study techniques, and quality of work life was analyzed by calculating mean answers of the respondents. The result shows that scores from dimension items of quality of work life in post test increase 0.6975.This means, there is a correlation between workload and the quality of work 1ife on Supervisor Cost Control."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan komitmen mengajar pada guru. Kualitas kehidupan kerja ditinjau dari tujuh faktor yaitu: penghasilan yang adil dan memadai, lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan sehat, kesempatan untuk tumbuh dan berkembang, integrasi di tempat kerja, relevansi sosial dari pekerjaan, supervisi dan partisipasi. Sementara komitmen mengajar dilihat dari lima dimensinya, yaitu: identifikasi dengan siswa, identifikasi dengan materi pelajaran, keterlibatan dengan siswa, keterlibatan dengan materi pelajaran, serta loyalitas dalam mengajar. Penelitian ini melibatkan 81 responden yang berprofesi sebagai guru di daerah Jakarta Timur dan Depok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan dimensi komitmen mengajar pada guru. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa komitmen mengajar tidak dapat dijelaskan dengan terpenuhi atau tidaknya kualitas kehidupan kerja guru di sekolah. Mungkin ada variabel-variabel lain yang lebih berpengaruh terhadap komitmen mengajar guru.

This research aims to see the correlation between the quality of work life and teaching commitment among teachers. Quality of work live include seven factors: fair and adequate compensation, safe and healthy school environment, opportunity to growth and develop, integration in the workplace, social relevance, supervision and participation. While commitment to teaching include five dimensions: identification with teaching subjects, identification with students, involvement in subject teachings, involvement with students, and loyalty toteaching. This research involved 81 respondents who work as teachers in East Jakarta and Depok. This research used quantitative method with the questionnaire as a data collector. This research found that there is no significant correlation between quality of work life and commitment to teaching. Thus it can be concluded that commitment to teaching can not be explained by quality of work life."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh quallity of work life terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pekerja tetap level non-managerial di pabrik PT X. Variabel dependen dalam penelitan ini adalah kepuasan kerja yang diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner dari Michigan Organizational Assessment Questionaire, sedangkan variabel independen dari penelitian ini adalah quality of work life dengan menggunakan dimensi dari Cascio (2003). Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja tetap (level non-managerial) di pabrik PT X sebesar 244 orang, dan sampel yang diambil untuk penelitian ini sejumlah 71 orang pekerja tetap di pabrik PT X dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa QWL memiliki hubungan positif dan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pekerja tetap Pabrik PT X.

The objectives of this research is to analyzie the influence of quality of work life on job satisfaction of permanent workers non-managerial level at PT X Factory. The dependent variable of this research is job satisfaction and it will be measured using questionnaire from Michigan Organizational Assessment Questionaire ; and the independent variable of this research is quality of work life and will be measured using the dimension by Cascio (2003). The population of this research are 244 people which are the whole permanent worker at PT X Factory, and the sample of this research are 71 respondent by using stratified random sampling technique. The result of this research was showing that QWL has a positife relationship and significance impact on job satisfaction on a permanent employee at PT X Factory."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perspektif waktu dengan work engagement pada karyawan. Responden pada penelitian ini sejumlah 310 karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan BUMN. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa self report. Pengukuran perspektif waktu dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventori ZTPI dan pengukuran work engagement dilakukan dengan menggunakan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale UWES.
Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa perspektif waktu kategori masa depan, masa kini fatalistik dan masa lalu negatif berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan work engagement pada karyawan, sementara perspektif waktu kategori masa lalu positif dan masa kini hedonistik tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan work engagement.

The aim of this present study is to examine correlation between time perspective and work engagement among employees. Data was collected from 310 employees who work on SOE companies. This study using self report questionnaire to collect data. Time perspective was measured by using Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventori ZTPI and work engagement was measured by using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale UWES.
Results indicated that future time perspective, present fatalistic time perspective and past negative time perspective was significally correlate to work engagement among employees, meanwhile the past positive time perspective and present hedonistic time perspective has no significant correlation to work engagement.

"Dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar global, tiap-tiap perusahaan harus memperhatikan kinerja karyawannya. Kinerja karyawan yang baik akan berpengaruh terhadap tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Hal yang harus diperhatikan untuk tercapainya kinerja yang baik adalah beban kerja yang akan diberikan kepada karyawan. Beban kerja yang diberikan harus sesuai dengan kemampuan karyawan. Karena beban kerja yang terlalu tinggi ataupun terlalu rendah dapat menyebabkan kinerja yang buruk terhadap karyawan. Untuk itu penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Beban Kerja dengan Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 35 orang karyawan offshore PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Divisi Quality Assurance Quality Control. Untuk menganalisis korelasi antar variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus Korelasi Rank Spearman yang dipergunakan untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan antar variabel yaitu beban kerja sebagai variabel independen dan kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif agak kuat antara beban kerja dengan kinerja karyawan.

For this research sought to determine the relationship between Workload with Employee Performance in Pertamina Hulu Energy ONWJ Jakarta. This research uses quantitative approach with questionnaires to 35 people offshore employees of PT. Pertamina Hulu Energy, Quality Assurance Quality Control Division as a sample. For the data technique analysis is using Spearman Rank Correlation, to find the strength of correlation between Workload as Independent variable and employee performance as dependent variable. From the statistic test, based on the data collected from questionnaire, there is a rather strong, positive, and significant relationship between workload with employee performance."

"ABSTRAK
Kotamadya Dati II Surabaya, merupakan kota kedua terbesar di Indonesia setelah Jakarta, yang dikembangkan sebagai kota industri, perdagangan, maritim, dan pendidikan, dikenal dengan sebutan INDAMARDI. Oleh karena itu kegiatan utama yang ditingkatkan pengembangannya adalah sektor-sektor industri dan perdagangan.
Pembangunan dan pengembangan kota Surabaya tersebut dilaksanakan dengan berpegangan pada Rencana Induk yang disebut Master Plan Surabaya tahun 2000 (MPS 2000). Dalam MPS 2000 ini pengembangan dan pembangunan sektor industri dialokasikan di Kecamatan Rungkut dan Kecamatan Tandes. Di Kecamatan Rungkut dikelola oleh PT Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut Pesero (PT SIER), seluas ± 200 ha, dengan sekitar 400 industri jenis menengah dan ringan. Sedangkan di Kecamatan Tandes merupakan industri baru guna rasionalisasi pelabuhan Tanjung Perak.
Dengan dikembangkannya sektor industri disuatu kawasan akan dibutuhkan pengembangan sektor lain yang menunjang kelancaran sektor industri tersebut, antara lain yaitu : transportasi, fasilitas, dan utilitas pelayanan kota. Selain itu pengembangan sektor-sektor tersebut, akan menarik masuknya tenaga kerja untuk mengisi kesempatan kerja yang ditawarkan oleh industri tersebut.
Pengembangan dan pembangunan sektor industri di suatu kawasan juga akan mengubah kegiatan ekonomi, infrastuktur, serta mata pencaharian penduduk yang tinggal di sekitarnya, demikian juga tingkat kepadatan penduduk akan meningkat, karena tenaga kerja yang masuk akan cenderung tinggal mendekati atau berdekatan dengan aktivitas dan fasilitas kota.
Tenaga kerja yang masuk untuk mencari kerja di kawasan industri pada umumnya sebagian besar berpenghasilan rendah, sehingga mereka mencari tempat tinggal di kampung-kampung di sekitar kawasan industri. Demikian pula halnyadengan kawasan industri PT SIER, yang menjadi inti aktivitas dari kampung-kampung di sekitarnya.
pengembangan dan pembangunan kawasan industri PT SIER merupakan pengembangan lingkungan fisik yang mempengaruhi kondisisosial, ekonomi, dan budaya penduduk kampung di sekitarnya, di samping dampak polusi yang kemungkinan dikeluarkannya.Padahal kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya penduduk korelasi antara pengembangan lingkungan dan kualitas merupakan kondisi fisik dan non-fisik penduduk yang menunjukkan kualitas hidup manusia itu di mana kualitas sosial kehidupan ditentukan oleh kualitas manusia itu sendiri dan komponen lingkungan yang mendukungnya.
Pada sisi lain, untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat, Pemerintah telah melaksanakan program perbaikan lingkungan dipemukiman penduduk, yang setelah diteliti, dianggap membutuhkan perbaikan lingkungan fisik. Program tersebut dikenal dengan Kampung Improvement Programme (KIP) yang dibantu oleh Bank Dunia.
Oleh karena pengembangan dan pembangunan kawasan industri selalu berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik dan non-fisik masyarakat disekitarnyaserta adanya program perbaikan lingkungan kampung oleh Pemerintah, penelitian ini mencoba mempelajari hidup penduduknya.
Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah :
- Mengetahui tingkat kualitas hidup penduduk atau masyarakat yang tinggal di kampung di sekitar kawasan industri.
- Mengetahui hubungan pengembangan lingkungan fisik, yaitu adanya kawasan industri dan perbaikan kampung, dengan kualitas hidup penduduk.
Indikator kualitas hidup yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, adalah indikator kualitas hidup hasil penelitian Bianpoen dan Gondokusumo (1986); yaitu kemiskinan, pekerjaan ditentukan atas dasar persentase pengeluaran non-makan, penggunaan air bersih, crowding index, pendidikan, dan kesehatan, khususnya balita.
Lokasi penelitian adalah kampung yang berbatasan langsung dengan kawasan industri PT SIER, dan pernah mendapatkan perbaikan lingkungan (KIP), yaitu kampung yang termasuk Kelurahan Rungkut Tengah dan Kelurahan Rungkut Menanggal, Kecamatan Gunung Anyar, Kotamadya Data, II Surabaya.
Banyaknya sampel ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling, yang seluruhnya berjumlah 94 responden. Sedangkan pada tiap kelurahan dibagi menjadi tiap RW dan RT, yang jumlahnya masing-masing ditentukan dengan cara proporsional random sampling.
Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara berdasarkan kuesioner, wawancara mendalam dilakukan terhadap pemuka masyarakat, PT SIER, dan Bappem RIP, serta observasi lapangan. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari bahan literatur dan dari instansi terkait. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan memakai statistik nonparametrik, yaitu menggunakan chi square yang dilanjutkan dengan uji
contingency coeffisient, disertai pula dengan analisis kualitatif.
Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa, kualitas hidup penduduk atau masyarakat yang diteliti di bawah rata-rata kualitas hidup seluruh Kelurahan Rungkut Tengah dan Rungkut Menanggal, tetapi sedikit lebih baik daripada kualitas hidup rata-rata di Surabaya. Sedangkan kualitas hidup penduduk yang bekerja di kawasan PT SIER relatif lebih baik daripada yang tidak bekerja di kawasan PT SIER.
Perbaikan lingkungan yang telah dilaksanakan (KIP Urban V) tidak memberikan manfaat bagi kondisi sosial ekonomi penduduk tetapi manfaat secara fisik terlihat pada kondisi jalan dan selokan Sedangkan hubungan pengembangan lingkungan fisik dari adanya kawasan PT SIER, dengan kualitas hidup penduduk, dapat dikatakan tidak ada hubungan yang langsung bagi penduduk secara umum karena kesempatan kerja yang diberikan PT SIER lebih banyak terisi oleh tenaga kerja yang masuk ke pemukiman kampung dan tinggal sebagai penduduk musiman. Tidak terisinya lowongan pekerjaan oleh sebagian besar penduduk tetap karena tingkat pendidikan dan keahlian yang tidak sesuai.
Tetapi manfaat yang diperoleh penduduk tetap dengan adanya kawasan PT SIER adalah melayani kebutuhan tenaga kerja PT SIER yang berstatus penduduk musiman, yaitu dengan membuka pondokan, toko, dan warung kebutuhan sehari-hari, sehingga secara tidak langsung meningkatkan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi penduduk di kampung tersebut. Hal ini terbukti dari adanya korelasi yang signifikan dengan derajat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara adanya PT SIER pada faktor-faktor pekerjaan dan usaha keluarga dengan kualitas hidup khususnya tingkat pendidikan.
Perbaikan lingkungan oleh KIP telah dilaksanakan di daerah penelitian ini, sebagai pengembangan lingkungan fisik. Dan korelasi dengan kualitas hidup penduduk menunjukkan bahwa MCA digunakan oleh penduduk yang tergolong miskin, menggunakan air sumur untuk seluruh kebutuhan, menghuni rumah yang sempit, dan tingkat pendidikannya yang rendah. Pada korelasi ini terlihat bahwa makin tinggi pendidikan penduduk cenderung tidak menggunakan MCK. Sedangkan kondisi selokan yang tidaklancar mengalir mempunyai korelasi dengan kemiskinan dan pendidikan, yang rendah dari penduduk menunjukkan kurangnya perhatian pada mengalirnya selokan. Derajat hubungan MCK dengan variabel-variabel kualitas hidup tersebut cukup kuat dan kuat, demikian juga kondisi selokan.
Korelasi faktor-faktor sosial ekonomi dengan variabel kualitas hidup menunjukkan bahwa faktor tingkat pendidikan, baik kepala keluarga maupun ibu sangat menentukan tingkat kualitas hidupnya. lni terbukti dari adanya korelasi yang signifikan dengan derajat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara tingkat pendidikan dan semua variabel kualitas hidup.

ABSTRACT
Kotamadya Dati II Surabaya, as the second biggest city in Indonesia, after Jakarta, has to develop as an industrial, trading, maritime and educational city, called INDAMARDI.
Its main activity is therefore to develop the industrial and trading sectors activity in Surabaya. This development in Surabaya has been carried out under the guidance of a master plan: Master Plan Surabaya 2000 (MPS 2000). In MPS 2000, the setting up of the industrial sector is allocated in Kecamatan Rungkut and Kecamatan Tandes. In Kecamatan Rungkut, it comprises about 400 light and medium industries managed by PT Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut (PT SIER). Kecamatan Tandes was allocated for new industries of Tanjung Perak Harbour.
The development of an industrial sector in an area needs the development of another sector that supports the smooth running of the industries, such as transportation facilities and public utilities of the city. Besides, the industrial sector always attracts people looking for employment offered by the industries.
The setting up and development of an industrial sector in an area also changes the economic activity, infrastructure and subsistence of the inhabitants in the neighborhood. Population density also increases, due to urbanization of the workers who seem to like living nearby the activities and the public utilities of the city. And the workers, who migrate to look for employment in the industrial area, mostly have low income. So they can only live in the kampung nearby or surrounding the industrial area.
This is also the case with PT SIER which has become the activity center of the surrounding kampungs :
The development of PT SIER as an industrial area is a development of physical environment that influences the social, economic and cultural condition of the kampung people surrounding it, beside the pollution that may also become a disaster. On the other side, the social, economic and cultural conditions of the inhabitants are the physical and non-physical condition of the people that indicate their quality of life, where the social quality of life, is determined by the quality of the person and the supporting environmental components.
On the other side, to improve the people's quality of life, the Government has launched an improvement program at the settlement, which after having been surveyed, was considered to be in need of physical environmental improvement. This program is known as Kampung Improvement Program (KIP), and is supported by the World Bank.
Since the development of an industrial area is always associated with the physical and nonphysical conditions of the community in its environment, and also with the environmental improvement by the Government at kampungs. This study tries to explain the correlation between physical environmental development, namely the existence of an industrial area and kampung improvement, and the people's quality of life.
The objectives of this study are: habitants as respondents. Each kelurahan is divided to look for the quality of life of the people that live in the neighborhood of the industrial area to study the correlation between physical environmental development, i.e. the existence of industrial area and kampung improvement program, and the people's quality of life.
The indicators used in this study are the result of a survey made by Bianpoen and Gondokusumo (1986). They are: rate of poverty, work determined by percentage of non food expense, use of clean water, Crowding Index, education, and health, especially of children below 5 years.
Locations of this study are kampungs, which are located immediately next toPT SIER area as an industrial area and which have already benefited from the Kampung Improvement Program (RIP). They are kampungs in Kelurahan Rungkut Tengah RW 03, 04, and 05, and Kelurahan Rungkut Menanggal RW 01, Kecamatan Gunung Anyar, Kotamadya Dati II Surabaya.
The samples were purposively taken, with 94 in into Rukun Warga (RW) and Rukun Tetangga (RT), and the samples are based on proportional Random sampling.
The primary data were collected throughinterviews by using questionnaires, depth interviews with informal leaders of the community, PT SIER, and Bappem KIP KMS personnel?s, besides the field observation.
Secondary data were obtained from literature studies and some related authorities.
The data analysis has been done quantify with non-parametric statistic, by using chi-square and contingency coefficient test, beside qualitative analysis.
The result of this study indicate, that the people's quality of life rate in this study location is below the quality of life rate in KelurahanRungkut Tengah and Rungkut Menanggal.
But a little bit better than the quality of life rate in Surabaya. The people's quality of life rate who are working with PT SIER is slightly better than if they are not working with PT SIER.
The Kampung Improvement (KIP Urban V) does not economic condition of the inhabitants, but its benefit is physically offered in the condition of the streets and drainage.
The correlation between physical environmental development with the existence ofPT SIER and the quality of life of the inhabitants suggest, that there is no direct correlation between them, because the vacancies at PT SIER are largely filled by workers who have migrated to the kampungs and who live there as seasonal citizens.
The fact that vacancies at PT SIER are not filled by the majority of permanent citizens is because of their un-qualifications in education and is unskilled.
But PT SIER gives an un-direct impact to the population of the kampungs in its neighborhood, that is their subsistence by supplying the necessaries of the seasonal citizens, such as boarding, warungs and shops.
This indirectly raises the social and the economic condition of the local surrounding citizens from the kampung, because they have more income. Its produce a positive influence on the social and evident from significant correlation with strong degree of correlation, between PT SIER variables, in employment and family business factors with education as the quality of life variable.
The kampung improvement by KIP Urban V is done in this study area as a physical development. And the correlation with the citizen quality of life give the results, that the users of MCK are mostly the poor, use well water for all purposes, live in small houses and have a low education level. In this correlation is seen that in the higher the education level of the population, the less MCK is need.
It means that people who are poor and have a low education do not have enough attention to the drainage flow, clean water and MCK.
The correlation of social economic factors with life quality variables shows that the education level of parents largely determines the level of life quality. It is proved as the significant correlation of education variable and all variables of life quality at strong degree correlation.

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan komponen quality of work life dengan kinerja bidan di Departemen Obstetri dan Ginekologi RSPAD Gatot Soebroto- Jakarta tahun 2011.
Metodologi penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara sembilan komponen variabel independen Quality of Work Life berupa : keterlibatan karyawan, kompensasi, rasa aman terhadap pekerjaan, keselamatan lingkungan kerja, rasa bangga terhadap institusi, pengembangan karir, fasilitas, penyelesaian masalah dan komunikasi dengan kinerja bidan di Departemen Obstetri dan Ginekologi RSPAD Gatot Soebroto- Jakarta.
Responden berjumlah 97 bidan. Karakteristik responden dari umur terbanyak usia 20-29 tahun (41,24%) dan 40-55 tahun (40,21%), pendidikan rata-rata D3 kebidanan (86,60%), status pegawai terbanyak adalah PNS (87,62%) dan lama bekerja terbanyak diatas 3 tahun (75,26%).
Analisis bivariat dengan Chi Square dan uji korelasi Spearman didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan kinerja bidan adalah komponen keterlibatan karyawan, penyelesaian masalah dan komunikasi. Analisis lanjut regresi berganda didapatkan komponen yang mempunyai hubungan signifikan adalah kompensasi, keselamatan lingkungan kerja, penyelesaian masalah dan komunikasi.

This research assess the relationship between quality of work life (QWL) components and the performance of midwives in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta in 2011.
Research metodology : quantitative, cross-sectional design. These QWL components are employee participation, compensation, job security, work environment safety, a sense of pride in the institution, career development, facilities, conflict resolution and communication.
Respondents were amounted to 97 midwives. The age of majority of respondents is 20-29 years (41.24%) and 40-55 years (40.21%), average education is Diploma in obstetrics (86.60%), the status of most employees are civil servants (87,62%) and working periode is over 3 years (75,26%).
Bivariate analysis with Chi Square and Spearman correlation test found a significant relationship between components of employee participation, problem solving and communication with the midwives performance. Further multiple regression analysis found a significant relationship between components of compensation, work environment safety, problem solving and communication with the performance of midwives.

"ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya korelasi antara pembangunan jalan raya, yang selalu diikuti perubahan tata guna lahan, dengan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Wilayah kajian penelitian ditetapkan pada Kecamatan Pasar Minggu dan Kecamatan Jagakarsa di wilayah Jakarta Selatan, dan Kota Administratif Depok. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai masukan atau bahan pertimbangan dalam proses perancangan jalan raya, termasuk teknik dan manajemen lalu-lintas, serta pengembangan wilayah pada umumnya.
Faktor-faktor yang diteliti dari ketersediaan data sekunder menyangkut empat variabel tata guna lahan (yaitu: lahan perumahan, lahan industri, lahan perdagangan dan jasa, serta lahan pertanian dan tak tergarap); dan lima variabel kualitas hidup masyarakat (yang diwakili oleh faktor-faktor: tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, tingkat kepadatan penduduk, kondisi fisik perumahan masyarakat, penggunaan sumber cahaya/penerangan, dan penggunaan sumber air bersih/minum yang dikonsumsi masyarakat).
Sementara itu, dari sisi lapangan melalui teknik wawancara secara langsung untuk memperoleh data primer; maka faktor-faktor yang dianalisis adalah: tingkat pendapatan masyarakat, tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, bidang pekerjaan utama, sarana perjalanan yang digunakan, peluang mendapatkan pekerjaan, status pemilikan rumah, kondisi fisik rumah, penggunaan sumber cahaya/penerangan, serta penggunaan sumber air bersih/minum.
Analisis data sekunder dilakukan dengan uji korelasi r untuk mendapatkan tingkat korelasi. Selanjutnya, untuk menguji hipotesis kerja Ho: r=0 melawan H1: ro; dilakukan uji independensi dengan menggunakan distribusi Student t. Untuk tingkat kepercayaan a, dimana distribusi t yang digunakan mempunyai derajat kebebasan u=(n-2); maka hipotesis kerja Ho dapat diterima bila t(hitungan) berada dalam interval t(tabel).
Data primer dianalisis melalui uji independensi antar 2 faktor dengan menggunakan prinsip asosiasi dalam daftar kontingensi (B)aris*(K)olom. Hipotesis H, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kedua faktor bebas statistik, akan ditolak, bila X2(hitungan) ~ X2(tabel) dalam tingkat kepercayaan a dan derajat kebebasan u untuk distribusi x2= (B-I)(K-1). Dalam hal lainnya, hipotesis H dapat diterima.
Dinamika tata guna lahan, secara nyata, ditunjukkan pada peruntukan lahan perumahan, lahan perdagangan dan jasa, serta lahan pertanian dan tak tergarap. Kenyataan ini membuktikan, bahwa dengan adanya pembangunan jalan raya sepanjang ruas Pasar Minggu - Depok mengakibatkan peralihan fungsi peruntukan lahan; dari lahan pertanian dan tak tergarap menjadi lahan perumahan dan/atau lahan perdagangan dan jasa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dan tumbuhnya kawasan perumahan (terutama "real estate"); berikut sarana perdagangan dan jasa, yang merupakan kelengkapan koheren dari suatu gejala pengembangan wilayah.
Perubahan indikator kualitas hidup masyarakat, secara nyata, dibuktikan melalui variabel tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, variabel tingkat kepadatan penduduk, serta variabel kondisi fisik perumahan masyarakat. Hasil pengujian ini mengindikasikan, bahwa pembangunan jalan raya (yang merupakan pra-sarana fisik dalam pengertian yang mendasar), merupakan faktor pemicu pertambahan penduduk. Bila dikaitkan dengan dinamika tata guna lahan, maka pertambahan penduduk ini merupakan masyarakat yang memperoleh pendidikan baik dan mereka menempati perumahan dengan kondisi fisik yang relatif lebih baik (bangunan permanen).
Pelaku perjalanan (dalam hal ini ditinjau dari sarana perjalanan/transportasi yang digunakan), ditentukan oleh tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan, dan bidang pekerjaan yang bersangkutan. Selanjutnya, sarana perjalanan/transportasi yang digunakan berkaitan dengan peluang untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan, status pemilikan rumah, kondisi fisik rumah, dan penggunaan sumber air bersih/minum.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to ensure the correlation between highway construction, which is usually followed by the changes of land use pattern, and the quality of life of the community. Study area was limited on Pasar Minggu and Jagakarsa regencies in the southern part of South Jakarta Metropolitan City and Depok Administrative City. This study is expected to yield some useful results for the considerations of highway design, including traffic engineering and management and regional planning purposes.
The source of data being studied were of two kinds: the primary and secondary data. The factors studied from secondary data were of four variables of land use pattern (those were classified as: settlement, industrial, business and services, and agriculture and non-utilized land); and five variables of the quality of life of the community (those were represented by: educational level, population density, physical housing condition, electrical facility, and drinking water facility).
While, the primary data obtained from field survey through direct interview were as follows: income level, educational level, main job/occupation, transportation/vehicle used, job opportunity, status of house ownership, physical housing condition, electrical facility, and drinking water facility.
Data analysis obtained from secondary data were done by using correlation test r to obtain significance level of correlation a. In order to test hypothesis Ho: r=0 versus H1: r-0; an independent test was done by adopting Students t distribution method. For level of significance a and the degree of freedom u=(n-2), the hypothesis H0 could be accepted if t(observed) is between the interval of t(table).
The primary data were analyzed by independent test between 2 factors, using the association principles in the L(ine)*(C)olumn contingency list. Hypothesis H, which indicates that two factors are statistically dependent, will be denied when X2(observed) X2(table) with level of significance a and the degree of freedom u for distribution of x2= (B-1)(K-1). On the other cases, hypothesis H could be accepted.
The land use dynamics were being significantly showed on the usage of settlement, business and services, agricultural and non-utilized areas. These facts proved that the highway construction along the Pasar Minggu-Depok road resulted in the changes of the land use function; from the agricultural and non-utilized areas to the settlement and/or business and services areas. This phenomenon can also be seen from the growth of the housing area (especially real estate); including the business and services facilities, which are the coherent attribute of an indication of regional planning.
The changes on indicators of the quality of life of the community significantly showed by the educational level of community, population density, and physical housing condition variables. The results of the test indicated that the highway construction (as basically physical infra-structure), become a trigger factor for population growth. If it was seen from the land use dynamics, this population growth is the community which is well educated people who live in the houses with relatively having a better physical condition (permanent buildings).
The travelers (seen from the transportation/vehicle used) are dependent on their educational level, income level, and their main occupation. Furthermore, the transportation facility used is related to the job opportunity, ownership status of the house, physical housing condition, and drinking water facility.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi dan menyimpulkan pola pengaruh faktor stres kerja yang diwakili tiga Job Stressor, yaitu Beban Kerja, Konflik Peran, dan Hubungan Interpersonal terhadap Work-Life Balance WLB pada Fungsional Pemeriksa sebagai garda depan Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia BPK RI dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memprediksi dan menyimpulkan tentang adanya perbedaan tingkat WLB di antara kelompok gender, generasi, dan status pernikahan; serta memberi pertimbangan manajerial tentang WLB pada Fungsional Pemeriksa BPK RI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan total responden yang berhasil didapatkan sebanyak 383 orang. Wawancara mendalam juga dilakukan untuk memperkuat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Beban Kerja, Konflik Peran, dan Hubungan Interpersonal berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap WLB pada Fungsional Pemeriksa BPK RI. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa stres tidak selalu buruk dan dapat berpengaruh positif jika dalam jumlah optimal. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan tingkat WLB Pemeriksa BPK RI berdasarkan kelompok gender dan generasi/cohort, sedangkan untuk kelompok status pernikahan tidak terdapat perbedaan.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to predict and conclude the impact pattern of job stress represented by three Job Stressors, namely Workload, Role Conflict, and Interpersonal Relationship towards Work Life Balance WLB on Functional Auditors as the vanguard of The Audit Board of The Republic Indonesia in achieving organizational goals. This study also aims to predict and conclude the difference of WLB level among gender, generation, and marital status groups and give managerial consideration about WLB among Functional Auditors in The Audit Board of The Republic Indonesia. The study was carried out by quantitative method through the distribution of questionnaires with a total of 383 respondents. In depth interviews were also conducted to strengthen the analysis. The results showed that Workload, Role Conflict, and Interpersonal Relationship have significant positive impact on WLB among Functional Auditors in The Audit Board of The Republic Indonesia. These results indicated that stress is not always bad and can have positive impact if in the optimal amount level of stress. The results also showed differences in WLB levels among Functional Auditors in The Audit Board of The Republic Indonesia based on gender and generation cohort groups, while no difference on marital status group."
