"PT XYZ merupakan salah satu organisasi sektor swasta yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan jasa pengembangan perangkat lunak. PT XYZ memiliki tiga poin Values Proposition yang salah satu poinnya adalah menyediakan perangkat lunak dengan performa dan kehandalan yang tinggi. Pada kenyataannya, berdasarkan data-data pengerjaan proyek perangkat lunak di PT XYZ ditemukan bahwa beberapa hasil pengerjaan perangkat lunak saat ini belum sesuai dengan Values Proposition yang ditawarkan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah CMMI Dev v1.3 dengan menggunakan representasi berkelanjutan. Area Proses dipilih berdasarkan pada CMMI Project Roadmap yakni Project Planning (PP), Project Monitoring and Control (PMC), Requirements Management (REQM), Configuration Management (REQM), dan Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA). Penilaian dilakukan menggunakan SCAMPI C dengan bantuan PIID dan Quantitative Assesment. Kerangka penyusunan usulan perbaikan menggunakan IDEAL. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah berupa penilaian kualitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak di PT XYZ dan usulan perbaikan bagi PT XYZ. Usulan perbaikan didasarkan pada praktik-praktik di dalam CMMI Dev v1.3 yang dapat membantu PT XYZ dalam mengembangkan perangkat lunaknya sehingga poin pada Value Proposition dapat dipenuhi.

PT XYZ is a private sector company that provide Information Technology solution by developing softwares for its partner. PT XYZ has three points of Values Proposition which one of them is to provide high performance and reliability. In fact, based on supporting data of software process development in PT XYZ, there are some software project results that is not fit to the third point of the Values Proposition.

This research uses CMMI-Dev v1.3 with continuous represetation. Process Areas are chosen based on CMMI Project Roadmap. Those process areas are Project Planning (PP), Project Monitoring and Control (PMC), Requirements Management (REQM), Configuration Management (CM), and Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA). This research uses SCAMPI C with PIID tools and Quantitative Assesment concept to do the appraisal. Proposal of software process improvement is designed by using IDEAL framework.

Result of this research is a measurement of quality of software development process in PT XYZ and the software process improvement proposal for PT XYZ to be implemented so the Value Proposition that is stated will be fulfilled."

"Pada tahun 2015 PT. XYZ baru saja membuat sebuah direktorat baru untuk manajemen proyek, untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh XYZ. Salah satu permasalahan terbesarnya adalah manajemen proyek yang belum sesuai dengan ekspektasi manajemen. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut XYZ harus memperbaiki proses pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan jumlah pelanggan yang semakin meningkat namun resource masih tergolong kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu untuk melakukan manajemen proyek yang lebih baik, salah satu upaya yang bisa dijalankan adalah dengan mengadopsi CMMI-Dev dengan representasi continuous pada manajemen proyek XYZ.Riset ini menelaah tentang evaluasi tingkat kapablitas proses pada proyek pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sedang dilaksanakan oleh XYZ. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menyusun rekomendasi perbaikan proses untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak di XYZ berdasarkan kerangka kerja CMMI-Dev dengan representasi continuous. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan acuan CMMI-Dev 1.3 representasi continous dengan tools SCAMPI C memberikan informasi bahwa 1 dari 6 proses area terpilih sudah memiliki kapabilitas tingkat 1, Proses area tersebut adalah Measurement Analysis MA . Kemudian 5 proses area lainnya masih berada kapablitas tingkat 0. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut menunjukan bahwa manajemen proyek XYZ masih perlu melakukan perbaikan, maka rekomendasi yang diberikan pada penelitian adalah untuk memperbaiki pada proses area PP, PPQA, REQM, CM dan PMC.

In 2015 XYZ publishing the new directorate of project management to solve problem on XYZ. One of the biggest problem that faced by directorate of project management is project management which not passed the expectation from XYZ Management. Based on that problem, XYZ have to improve the quality of software process development with condition the number of project that always grow and low resource. So that, XYZ need to improve the project management practice, one of the solution that XYZ want to implement is adopting CMMI Dev continuous representation on XYZ Project Management.This research explains about the evaluation of capability level processes which being held on current condition by XYZ. Then, the next step will explain about how to make some improvement recommendations to improve software development process based on CMMI Dev continuous representation.The results of the evaluation using SCAMPI C tools based on CMMI Dev continuous representation is represent that only one process area from 6 the choosen process area has got a capability level 1, and the process area is Measurement Analysis MA . Then, the other process area still in capability level 0. Based on that situation, shows that XYZ project management should have some improvement especially for the 5 process area, so that the recommendation from this research should focus on the 5 process area too, there are PP, PPQA, REQM, CM and PMC."

Area proses yang dipilih sesuai dengan area proses pada project roadmap yaitu Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Requirement Management, Configuration Management dan Process and Product Quality Assurance. Penilaian tingkat kapabilitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan SCAMPI C dengan alat bantu PIID dan Quantitative Assessment. Rekomendasi perbaikan disusun berdasarkan kerangka kerja IDEAL. PT XYZ is one of the life insurance companies in Indonesia. Information Technology Division is a division in charge of software development in PT XYZ. But based on the facts, Software development undertaken by the Information Technology Division is still many that is not finished on time. One of the causes of this delay is the software development process that has not been run properly. Software process improvement is needed to solve this problem. CMMI Dev is one of the frameworks that can be used to measure the level of capability of the software development process and can be used to improve the software development process.

In this research, improvement recommendations were made based on CMMI Dev ver. 1.3. The process area selected according to the process area on the roadmap project ie Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Requirement Management, Configuration Management and Process and Product Quality Assurance. Capability level assessment is done by using SCAMPI C with PIID and Quantitative Assessment tools. The improvement recommendations are created based on IDEAL framework.

The result of this research is level of capability and recommendation of software process improvement. The improvement recommendations are based on the specific practice in CMMI Dev ver. 1.3 project roadmap so that can help the Information Technology Division complete the software development in a timely manner."

"Tujuan setiap organisasi penghasil perangkat lunak adalah membangun sebuah produk yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dengan kualitas yang baik, sesuai jadwal dan sesuai anggaran, namun PT. Diharapkan dengan peningkatan kualitas dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak bisa menyelesaikan masalah PT. XYZ dan juga bisa menjadi faktor pendorong untuk meningkatkan daya saing.

Building a product that fulfill the customer needs with a good quality, on time and on budget is a purpose of every software company, however XYZ is not yet delivered a product on time. It happened because of many problems in software process development, and the company still cannot find out which process that needed to be improved, because the company is never measure the capability level. When the capability level is already measured, then it will be easier to improve the software development processes.To improve the software development processes, this research will use software process improvement which contain of process measure capability level using CMMI DEV with continuous representation and the result will be analyzed on which process area that the capability level need to be improved, and after that change the process that need to be changed.The final result of this research will be a recomendation that depend on the process area result and the recommendation made based on IDEAL model approach. "[Bisnis perangkat lunak kini semakin berkembang. Organisasi pengembang perangkat lunak dituntut untuk memproduksi perangkat lunak yang berkualitas, tepat waktu, tepat biaya dan memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Scrum sendiri adalah suatu metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis metodologi tangkas (agile) yang cocok untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada. Pada penelitian ini akan diukur sejauh mana tingkat kemampuan organisasi dalam proses pengembangan perangkat lunak hanya pada area proses yang berhubungan dengan proyek atau dengan roadmap proyek yang membantu menerapkan CMMI-DEV dengan representasi kontinu (continuous). Area proses yang akan dinilai adalah Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Requirement Management, Configuration Management dan Process and Product Quality Assurance. Setelah diukur maka akan didapatkan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk membantu PT. Gemawidia Solusi Komputer dalam memperbaiki proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Setelah melakukan penilaian, didapatkan tingkat kapabilitas kelima area proses masih level 0 atau incomplete menyebabkan perlu banyak perbaikan dengan mencari akar permasalahan dengan Fishbone Diagram dan rekomendasi disusun untuk perbaikan tersebut dan setelah rekomendasi dibuat disusun pula prioritas menggunakan Pareto Chart.

Through this study, author try to resolve the issue with the CMMI-DEV framework version 1.3 as a framework for Software Development Process Improvement and combined with the practices of Scrum that synergies with CMMI-DEV. Scrum itself is a software development methodology based on Agile Methodologies which suitable to address existing problems. "satu tugas Pusat Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Keuangan Pusintek adalah melakukan pengembangan sistem informasi di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan. Pengembangan dan pembangunan sistem TIK ini mencakup perancangan, pembangunan, pengembangan, dan pengujian perangkat lunak dan jaringan. Untuk mendukung proses bisnis unit eselon 1 di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan, perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan diharapkan berkualitas. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan data pengembangan perangkat lunak, perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan masih tidak sesuai harapan pengguna, yaitu pengembangan perangkat lunak tidak selesai sesuai jadwal dan ditemukan banyak permasalahan ketika sudah hosting. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini dibutuhkan suatu langkah perbaikan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Tahapan awal untuk meningkatkan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak adalah dengan mengetahui tingkat kapabilitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kapabilitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak di Pusintek. Tingkat kapabilitas ini selanjutnya digunakan sebagai dasar dalam melakukan perbaikan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Kerangka kerja CMMI-Dev digunakan sebagai rujukan dalam mengukur tingkat kapabilitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Prosedur penilaian mengikuti standar baku yang telah dirumuskan dalam penilaian tipe SCAMPI-C. Ruang lingkup pada penelitian ini dibatasi pada evaluasi tingkat kapabilitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan oleh Pusintek dan penyusunan rekomendasi perbaikan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan oleh Pusintek. Hasil yang diharapkan pada penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui tingkat kapabilitas organisasi dalam proses pengembangan perangkat lunak sehingga dapat ditentukan langkah perbaikan dan peningkatan yang harus dilakukan agar perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih baik sehingga dapat mendukung proses bisnis unit eselon 1 di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan.

One of the task of Center for Financial Information Systems and Technology Pusintek is to develop information systems in the Ministry of Finance. Development and construction of ICT systems include the design, construction, development, and testing of software and network. To support the business processes of Echelon 1 unit within the Ministry of Finance, the developed software is expected have good quality. However, according to software development data, the developed software is still not match the expectations of users, namely software development is not completed on schedule and found a lot of problems when it was hosting. To deal with this problem we need a software development process improvement. Early step to improve the software development process is to determine the capability level of the current software development process.

This research aims to determine the level of capability of the software development process in Pusintek. The capability level is then used as base for software development process improvement. CMMI Dev framework is used as a reference in assessing the capability of the software development process. Assessment procedures follow the standards that have been formulated in type C SCAMPI appraisal.

The scope of this research is limited to the evaluation of capability level of the software development process developed by Pusintek and preparation of recommendations for improvement the software development process developed by Pusintek.

Expected result from this research is to know capability level of organization in the software development process to determine which improvements measures must be done so that the resulting software to be better in order to support the business processes eselon 1 unit within the Ministry of Finance. "PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan jasa konsultasi dan penyedia aplikasi, saat ini PT XYZ belum memiliki standar baku dalam proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Berdasarkan analisis tahap awal yang dilakukan, hal tersebut menyebabkan tidak tercapainya 12% target waktu penyelesaian proyek. Maka untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut PT XYZ perlu meningkatkan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan standar baku proses pengembangan perangkat lunak yaitu dalam penelitian ini menggunakan CMMI Dev 1.3. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan tingkat kematangan dari aktivitas pengembangan perangkat lunak saat ini. Sehingga, menghasilkan rekomendasi peningkatan proses pengembangan peragkat lunak yang tepat bagi PT XYZ. Untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi maka dilakukan penilaian dengan metode SCAMPI-C dan pendekatan continuous representation, dengan pemilihan area proses penilaian menggunakan CMMI Roadmap. Penilaian dilaksanakan dengan metode PIID, kemudian dibuat skala prioritas dari rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dengan metode AHP. Penelitian ini menghasilkan capability level 0 dengan 3 practice yang terpenuhi dan 37 practice yang tidak terpenuhi dari 5 area proses yang terdapat pada project roadmap yaitu PP, PMC, REQM, CM, dan PPQA. Sehingga target yang akan dicapai adalah capability level 1. Dari 37 practice yang tidak terpenuhi untuk mancapai capability level 1 dibuat rekomendasi pada setiap practice dengan urutan prioritas pelaksanaan, sesuai hasil AHP, yaitu PP, REQM, PMC, CM, PPQA. Terakhir dilakukan validasi direktur dengan hasil rekomendasi semua 37 practice akan dilaksanakan.

PT XYZ is a consulting firm and application provider. PT XYZ does not have a standard in the software development process. Based on the initial analysis, this causes a delay of 12% of the project completion time target. So to solve these problems, PT XYZ needs to improve the software development process with the standard software development process, namely in this study using CMMI Dev 1.3. This study aims to determine the capability level and produce recommendations for improving the software development process that is right for the company. To make recommendations, conduct an assessment using the SCAMPI-C method assisted by PIID. The approach used is continuous representation, selecting the assessment process area according to the CMMI Roadmap, namely the project roadmap with PP, PMC, REQM, CM, and PPQA process areas. The result of this study is the ability level 0, with three practices meeting and 37 not meeting the five assessment process areas. So that it can determine the target it wants to achieve is level one of capability. To reach level one of capability, make recommendations from 37 practices that are unmet. Next, make a priority order of recommendations using AHP with the results of PP, REQM, PMC, CM, and PPQA. Finally, the Director validates the results of all recommendations that will implement by generating all recommendations from 37 practices that will implement."

XYZ berharap memperoleh manfaat melalui perbaikan proses. Namun sampai dengan penelitian ini dilakukan, PT. XYZ belum memperoleh manfaat yang optimal. Hal ini dilihat dari beberapa delivery proyek yang tidak tepat waktu dan realisasi effort dari beberapa proyek lebih besar dari perencanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat yang diperoleh PT. XYZ dari implementasi CMMI. Identifikasi manfaat dilakukan dengan membandingkan data implementasi proyek sebelum dan setelah CMMI. PT. XYZ berharap dapat mengidentifikasi proses yang belum optimal pada pelaksanaannya, sehingga PT. XYZ dapat melakukan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan proses tersebut menjadi lebih baik. Berdasarkan identifikasi manfaat tersebut, kemudian digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat yang berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan proyek pengembangan perangkat lunak. Selanjutnya, PT. XYZ menentukan prioritas manfaat yang harus dicapai yang berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan proyek pegembangan perangkat lunak. Pada penelitian ini, data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen pendukung PT. XYZ. Hasil penelitian ini adalah identifikasi manfaat CMMI yang diperoleh PT. XYZ. Kemudian melakukan analisis terhadap manfaat CMMI yang mempengaruhi kriteria kesuksesan proyek pengembangan perangkat lunak.

PT. XYZ is one of IT service providers in Indonesia who use CMMI for process improvement. With the implementation of CMMI, PT. XYZ expect to gain benefit through process improvement. But until this research is done, PT. XYZ has not derive optimal benefits, based on several delivery projects that are not on time and effort realization of some projects bigger than planning.

This research aimed to identify the benefits obtained by PT. XYZ after CMMI implementation. Identifying benefits gained by performing comparison the data of project implementation before and after CMMI. PT. XYZ look forward to identify the processes that is not optimal when project implementation. Based on these results, PT. XYZ can evaluate and improve the process better. The result of benefit identification is used to identify which benefits that affect the success of software development project. PT. XYZ determine the priority of the benefits to be achieved, making it easier to gain the benefit that influence the success of software development projects. In this research, the data used are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained from interviews and questionnaires while the secondary data obtained from PT. XYZ supporting documents.

The results of this study was identification of the CMMI benefits that obtained PT. XYZ which affecting success criteria for software development projects."

"Teknologi informasi (TI) telah berkembang pesat di era globalisasi ini.Salah satu faktor pemicu nya adalah peningkatan penggunaan perangkat lunak. Untuk memperoleh kualitas perangkat lunak yang baik, Perusahaan pengembang perangkat lunak membutuhkan proses pengembangan yang lebih baik. Untuk itu penting bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan perbaikan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak agar memiliki tingkat kompetitif dalam industri perangkat lunak. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk memberikan evaluasi dari tingkat kematangan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak organisasi saat ini dan analisis untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi yang bisa diterapkan di PT Javan Cipta Solusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan framework CMMI-DEV sebagai model perbaikan prosesnya. Representasi staged dengan kombinasi konsep SCAMPI C dan PIID digunakan untuk melakukanevaluasi di semua area proses di tingkat kematangan 2. Setelah itu proses analisis gap digunakan untukmembandingkan implementasi praktek yang ada dengan praktek standard CMMI sehingga didapatkan rekomendasi yang bisa diterapkan di perusahaan. Information Technology has been rapidly growing in this globalization era. The increasing use of Software is one of the triggering factors. In order to cope with the needs of high quality software, the software company needs to have better process. Hence, it is becoming increasingly important to get involved in software process improvement to gain competitive advantage in software industry.

This research gives the evaluation of current process maturity and the analysis to provide process improvement recommendations in which suitable to be applied in PT Javan Cipta Solusi. It is based on CMMI Dev Framework as software process improvement model. The Staged representation with combination of SCAMPI C and PIID is applied on all maturity 2 process area. Gap analysis comes to compare the current practices with CMMI best practices in order to get the company recommendation.

The outcome of the research is the fact that the company is on maturity level 1. Process improvement recommendations are based on maturity level 2. It is expected that the organization knows better what the current weakness is and how to fill the gap."

Kualitas proses pengembangan yang baik dalam pengembangan solusi TI merupakan sebuah cikal bakal dalam upaya mendapatkan sebuah produk TI yang berkualitas. Bagi organisasi penggiat solusi TI, perhatian terhadap kualitas merupakan salah satu cara untuk dapat tetap bersaing dan bertahan hidup dari persaingan industri ini. PT Sigma Metrasys Solution merupakan organisasi penggiat solusi teknologi informasi skala enterprise, mengalami beberapa permasalahan terkait kualitas perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan. Beberapa aktivitas proses pengembangan perangkat lunak berjalan tanpa prosedur yang tidak standar dan memiliki kelemahan kualitas yang mengakibatkan resiko kegagalan yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan usulan perbaikan kualitas proses perancangan perangkat lunak secara terprioritas dengan memanfaatkan kerangka kerja CMMI-Dev 1.2 dengan representasi continuous. Penelitian akan mencakup semua proses area pada project roadmap dengan metode penilaian menggunakan SCAMPI C dan alat bantu PIID and SCAMPI Tools. Usulan perbaikan yang diciptakan akan ditentukan tingkatan prioritasnya menggunakan metode Analitical Hierarchy Process sehingga obyek penelitian mudah dalam melakukan implementasinya. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi berdasarkan best practice CMMI yang dibagi berdasarkan process area. Urutan perbaikan proses berdasarkan prioritasnya adalah Process Area Requirement Management, Project Planning, Process and Product Quality Assurance, Project Monitoring dan Control, Configuration Management.

For them, the attention to drive a high quality IT solution is another way to be able to remain competitive and survive in the industry. PT Sigma Metrasys Solution is one of the enterprise scale company whose have some problem related to the quality of their software product, which some activity in the development process are running without standard procedure and it caused very high risk of failure.

The objective of this research is to propose some input to improve the quality of software design process by continuous utilizing the priority of the framework CMII – Dev 1.2. This research will cover all the areas on the project road map by using SCAMPI C appraisal methods, PIID and SCAMPI tools. The implementation of proposed improvement will be determined by the priorities level based on Analytical Hierarchy Process method.

The result obtained from this research is recommended based on the best practice by CMMI Process area with priority order are Process Area Requirement Management, Project Planning, Process and Product Quality Assurance, Project Monitoring and Control and Configuration Management."
