"Skripsi ini membahas fungsi bahasa Roman Jakobson yang muncul pada ujaran dalam film Fack Ju Göhte yang mengandung kata Arsch dalam berbagai bentuk. Film Fack Ju Göhte dipilih karena merupakan film komedi remaja yang menjadi film tersukses di Jerman pada tahun 2013. Teori yang digunakan, yaitu fungsi bahasa, makna kata, dan morfologi dalam bahasa Jerman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang mengandung kata Arsch memiliki fungsi referensial, emotif, konatif, dan puitis. Selain itu, kalimat yang mengandung kata Arsch lebih banyak muncul bukan sebagai makian.

This thesis discusses Roman Jakobson?s functions of language in a statement uttered in a film called Fack Ju Göhte, which contains the word Arsch in various forms. The Fack Ju Göhte film is chosen because it is a young adult comedy that became the most successful film in Germany in the year 2013. The theories being used are language function, the meaning of a word, and morphology in Germany language. The result from this research is the finding that sentences that contain the word Arsch have the functions of referential, emotive, conative, and poetic. Furthermore, sentences that contain the word Arsch appear more often not as a swearing."

"Makian atau umpatan merupakan sebuah perilaku bahasa yang lazim dalam budaya tutur lisan. Makian seringkali juga ditemukan dalam sketsa komedi atau sketch comedy. Dalam sebuah sketsa, seringkali menggunakan berbagai variasi kata makian beserta fungsinya yang juga beragam. Fungsi kata makian yang beragam dalam dialog muncul secara kontekstual yang dapat dilihat dari unsur nonverbal, seperti ekspresi wajah, suara, dan gerak tubuh. Menurut Andersson dan Trudgill serta Burridge dan Stebbins, kata makian memiliki empat fungsi, yakni abusive, expletivestylistic atau auxiliary, dan social atau humorous. Penelitian ini akan membahas bentuk makna dan fungsi kata makian dalam  tiga video sketsa komedi Slupschutters tahun 2019 dengan menggunakan metode desktriptif kualitatif serta penghitungan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan beberapa temuan baru seperti kata tunggal yang bermakna positif bisa berfungsi sebagai kata makian dan terdapat variasi penggunaan interjeksi dalam tuturan lisan.

Pursing or swearing is a language behavior that is common in oral speech culture. Swearing can also be found in a sketch comedy. In a sketch, there are various swearwords with their own functions. Contextually, the variations of swearwords` function can be seen from nonverbal elements, such as facial expression, voice, and gesture. According to Andersson and Trudgill and Burridge and Stebbins, there are four functions of swearwords (expletive, abusive, stylistic/auxiliary, social/humorous). This journal focuses on the analyzing the swearwords` form of meaning functions in the three episodes of sketch comedy Sluipschutters (2019) based on context and speech situations they are spoken. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, supported by calculation of datas. Analysis` results show that there are several new findings, such as a single word that has a positive meaning can be used as a swear word and there are some variation in the use of interjection in oral speech.

"Dalam pembelajaran bahasa, seseorang cenderung diajarkan untuk berbahasa dengan santun. Namun, pada kenyataannya penggunaan kata-kata kasar seperti umpatan kerap kali ditemui dalam interaksi sehari-hari. Umpatan juga dapat ditemui dalam media hiburan, anime atau animasi Jepang merupakan salah satunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana tuturan umpatan dalam bahasa Jepang itu direalisasikan. Berdasarkan pencermatan terhadap tuturan dengan kata umpatan bermakna ‘bodoh’ yakni baka dan aho pada anime Bungo Stray Dogs, ditemukan 5 variasi dari kata baka, yakni (i) baka, (ii) bakayarou, (iii) bakamegane, (iv) oobaka, dan (v) oobakayarou. Sedangkan pada kata aho, ditemukan 2 variasi, yakni (i) aho dan (ii) doaho. Variasi-variasi kata umpatan tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan intensitas makna yang dikandung. Cara penyampaian umpatan tersebut pun beragam, menjadikan tiap-tiap tuturan yang diujarkan penutur memiliki maksud yang berbeda bergantung pada bagaimana umpatan tersebut dikomunikasikan.

When studying language, people tend to be taught to speak politely. Even so, swearing, which considered rude, can be found in nearly every daily situation. Swearing can also be found in entertainment, including anime or Japanese animation. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explain the realization of swearing in Japanese. Based on the observation of utterances with swear words containing the meaning ‘stupid’ such as baka and aho in the anime Bungo Stray Dogs, there are 5 variations of the word baka, namely, (i) baka, (ii) bakayarou, (iii) bakamegane, (iv) oobaka, and (v) oobakayarou. Whereas for the word aho, there are 2 variations, (i) aho and (ii) doaho. These variations showed that there are differences in the intensity of the meaning from each swear word. The way those swear words are delivered also varies. Depending on how the swear word is communicated, each utterance uttered by the speaker can have a different meaning"

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perkembangan fungsi kata yang dari bahasa Melayu Klasik hingga Bahasa Indonesia abad ke-16 hingga abad ke-21. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 1 Hikayat Amir Hamzah, 2 Hikayat Abdullah, 3 Layar Terkembang, dan 4 Laskar Pelangi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kata yang, dari masa ke masa memiliki tiga fungsi: konjungsi perluasan, artikel pembentuk nomina, dan konjungsi pengantar objek. Namun, dalam bahasa Melayu modern atau bahasa Indonesia sudah tidak lagi ditemukan penggunaan fungsi kata yang sebagai konjungsi pengantar objek. Dalam pembentukan fungsi tersebut juga ditemukan konstruksi pembentukan kata yang, yang kemunculannya tidak mengalami perubahan dan mengalami perubahan. Dengan demikian, melalui analisis berdasarkan fungsi kata yang diketahui bahwa bahasa Indonesia mengalami perubahan dari akarnya, yaitu bahasa Melayu.

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the development of functions of the word yang from Classical Malay to Indonesian language from the 16th century to the 21st century . Using a descriptive method, the research looks into data sources obtained from 1 Hikayat Amir Hamzah, 2 Hikayat Abdullah, 3 Layar Terkembang, and 4 Laskar Pelangi. Based on the analysis of this research, it is perceived that yang, from time to time had three functions the expansion conjunctions konjungsi perluasan, an article forming noun artikel pembentuk nomina, and a conjunction introductory object konjungsi pengantar objek. In the formation of those functions, there are several constructions of yang which under went changes throughout time while some others remain the same. In fact, in the modern Malay or Indonesian language, the function of yang as a conjunction introductory object was no longer found. Thus, through the analysis of the function of yang in this study, it is apparent that the functions of the word yang in Indonesian has under gone some alterations compared to classical Malay as its root."

"Penelitian ini meneliti tentang persepsi dan kebutuhan bahasa Inggris mengenai Bahasa Inggris untuk Tujuan Khusus pada siswa kelas 11 SMA Negeri 116 Ragunan. Hal ini dikarenakan para siswa di sekolah tersebut adalah atlet profesional remaja. Perbedaan kebutuhan bahasa Inggris dengan rata-rata siswa SMA lain menjadikan penelitian ini signifikan. SMA Negeri 116 Ragunan memberlakukan kurikulum terbaru di Indonesia, Kurikulum 2013, yang bisa dikombinasikan dengan tujuan khusus para siswa. Metode yag digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi bahasa Inggris para siswa masih rendah di empat aspek (mendengar, membaca, menulis, dan berbicara), namun yang terendah adalah kecakapan berbicara. Penting bagi para guru untuk mempersiapkan siswanya dengan kecakapan yang paling mereka butuhkan dan memenuhi perubahan kurikulum di Indonesia.

This study investigates English language perception and needs for English for Specific Purpose of 11th grade students at 116 State High School Ragunan, since the students are teenage professional athletes. The difference English need with the average high school students’ need make this study significant. The school is also applying the latest Indonesian curriculum, Kurikulum 2013 which can be combined with the specific purpose of the students. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, using closed-questionnaire and interview. The result shows that the students’ perception of English is still low in four aspects (listening, reading, writing, and speaking), but the lowest is speaking skill. It is important for the teachers to provide students with the skill they need the most and meet the change of curriculum in Indonesia.

"This study examines the abolition of English subject for elementary students in Indonesia?s 2013 curriculum. English subject has been abolished due to the poor result of PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) that led to the making of a new curriculum. The new curriculum focuses on character building and put more hours (English subject hours) into it. The non-existence of English subject is believed to hinder the progress of Indonesia?s next leader to compete in the even-more globalized world. This study argues about the importance of teaching English to early-age children by referring to some studies from Phillipson (1993), Brown (2007) and Pennycook (2007). After some research done on comparing 2013 curriculum and English Language Teaching theories, the argument that English postponed Indonesian students? character building, which was proposed by the Ministry of Education and Culture, was overthrown by the fact that there has not been any actual research on national?s morality decrease done by westernization (the school of thought which puts English as the main weapon of westernization). This study concludes that without any further proof on English diminishing national?s morality, English subject still needs to be taught to elementary level students."

"Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi empat episode pertama serial Extra auf Deutsch dalam mendukung kompetensi bahasa Jerman tingkat pemula, terutama dalam hal kosakata dasar, frasa sederhana, dan struktur kalimat dasar. Fokus utama penelitian adalah pemanfaatan serial Extra sebagai media audiovisual dalam pengajaran bahasa Jerman. Analisis mengacu pada teori Hör-Sehverstehen oleh Camilla Badstübner-Kizik (2016) serta kriteria penggunaan media audiovisual menurut Protzner (1977). Data diambil dari video serial Extra auf Deutsch (Episode 1-4) yang diakses melalui kanal YouTube Katrina Senpai. Penelitian ini mengikuti model analisis data yang dikemukakan oleh Caspari dan Schmelter (2016), yang melibatkan tahap pengumpulan, pengkodean, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serial Extra auf Deutsch dapat mendukung penguasaan keterampilan bahasa dasar melalui penyajian situasi kehidupan sehari-hari yang humoris, meskipun terdapat tantangan terkait kebaruan dan kompleksitas budaya. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai potensi penggunaan serial Extra sebagai media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jerman untuk pemula.

This study examines the role of the first four episodes of the Extra auf Deutsch series in supporting German language proficiency at the beginner level, particularly in terms of basic vocabulary, simple phrases, and basic sentence structures. The main focus of this research is the use of the Extra series as audiovisual media in teaching German. The analysis refers to the Hör-Sehverstehen theory by Camilla Badstübner-Kizik (2016) and the criteria for using audiovisual media according to Protzner (1977). The data was obtained from videos of the Extra auf Deutsch series (episodes 1-4) accessed through the Katrina Senpai YouTube channel. This study follows the data analysis model proposed by Caspari and Schmelter (2016), involving stages of data collection, coding, and interpretation. The results show that the Extra auf Deutsch series can support the mastery of basic language skills through the presentation of humorous everyday situations. However, there are challenges related to novelty and cultural complexity. This research provides insights into the potential use of the Extra series as audiovisual media in teaching German to beginners."
