"This study aims to investigate the effect of knowledge management enablers
on the performance of accounting entities in Indonesia. Knowledge
management enablers consist of ICT know-how and skills, job training, job
rotation, knowledge management technology and knowledge sharing. The
sample of the study comprises 229 accounting entities in Indonesia. Data was
collected by online survey method and analyzed using AMOS 22 software for
structural equation modelling (SEM). The results show that four knowledge
management enablers, namely ICT know-how and skills, job training,
knowledge management technology and knowledge sharing, have significant
influences on the performance of accounting entities. Meanwhile, job rotation
does not affect the performance of the accounting entities.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh knowledge
management enablers terhadap kinerja entitas akuntansi di Indonesia.
Knowledge management enablers dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ICT knowhow
dan skills, job training, job rotation, knowledge management technology,
dan knowledge sharing. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 229 penyusun
laporan keuangan pada entitas akuntansi di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan
dengan metode survei online. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis
menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan software AMOS
22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat knowledge management
enablers yaitu ICT know-how dan skills, job training, knowledge management
technology, dan knowledge sharing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja
entitas akuntansi di Indonesia. Sementara itu, satu knowledge management
enablers yaitu job rotation tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja entitas
akuntansi di Indonesia."

"ABSTRAK
Peran aktif Indonesia dalam persaingan global, khususnya pada sektor konstruksi tidak dapat dihindari lagi. Salah satu faktor utama yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional tersebut adalah inovasi. Sayangnya, performa inovasi di Indonesia, termasuk di dalamnya sektor konstruksi, masih dinilai rendah. Dipercaya, dua penyebab utama dari rendahnya inovasi adalah ketidaktersediaan ilmu dan manajemen mutu perusahaan yang buruk. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini menguji pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap Knowledge Management (KM), serta pengaruh Knowledge Management (KM) terhadap inovasi. Diawali dengan analisa hubungan antar variabel dengan pendekatan PLS-SEM, penelitian dilanjutkan dengan analisa hubungan antar tingkat kepentingan dan performa dari KM dan TQM pada perusahaan pengembang konstruksi, sebagai pihak yang dipercaya memiliki pengaruh besar dalam meningkatkan inovasi pada sektor konstruksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik TQM memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan bagi proses KM, yaitu melalui praktik fokus pelanggan, manajemen karyawan, dan manajemen proses dan proses KM berpengaruh terhadap inovasi melalui proses pembagian ilmu dan aplikasi ilmu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan juga bahwa penerapan KM pada perusahaan pengembang konstruksi di Indonesia memiliki tingkat kesesuaian sangat baik, dan untuk penerapan TQM memiliki tingkat kesesuaian baik, dengan catatan ada indikator-indikator yang memerlukan perbaikan dan perlu untuk dipertahankan performanya. Berangkat dari dua hasil analisa tersebut, disusunlah sebuah strategi pengembangan KM dan TQM yang dapat meningkatkan inovasi pada sektor konstruksi di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
Indonesias active role in global competitiveness, especially in construction field cant be denied. One of the main factor that promote national economic growth is innovation. Unfortunately, innovation performance in Indonesia, including construction sector, is regarded as low. It is believed that the two main causes of low innovation are lack of knowledge and poor company quality management. In light of that issue, this study examined the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Knowledge Management (KM), and the influence of Knowledge Management (KM) on innovation. Begin with an analysis of the relationship between variables with the PLS-SEM approach, the relationship between importance and performance level of KM and TQM in developers companies, who are believed to be the most influential in increasing innovation in the construction sector, then will be evaluated. The obtained results showed that TQM practices give significant influence on KM processes, through customer focus, people management and process management. KM processes also give significant influence on innovation through the process of knowledge sharing and knowledge application. Based on the results of the study, it was also concluded that the performance of KM in developers companies is at a very good state, while the performance of TQM is at a good state, with a note that there are some indicators that need to be improved and mantained. Depart from the results of the study, a development strategy of KM and TQM which can increase innovation in the construction sector in Indonesia has been developed.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh knowledge sharing dan komitmen terhadap kinerja individu di organisasi sektor publik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Kantor Pusat Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 225 responden yang merupakan pegawai di Direktorat Teknis Kepabeanan (76 responden), Direktorat Fasilitas Kepabeanan dan Cukai (35 responden), dan Direktorat Audit Kepabeanan dan Cukai (114 responden). Hipotesis penelitian dirumuskan dari penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya dan diuji menggunakan structural equation model (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan kembali bahwa komitmen organisasi dan knowledge sharing behavior memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja individu, namun knowledge sharing tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja individu di organisasi sektor publik.

This study analyze the effect of knowledge sharing and commitment on individual performance in public sector organizations. This research was conducted at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. Primary data was obtained through a questionnaire with 225 respondents which is employees in the Directorate of Customs (76 respondents), Directorate of Customs and Excise Facilities (35 respondents), and Directorate of Customs and Excise Audit (114 respondents). The research hypothesis was formulated from previous studies and tested using a structural equation model (SEM). The results of this study reaffirm that organizational commitment and knowledge sharing behavior have a significant effect on individual performance, but knowledge sharing does not have a significant effect on individual performance in public sector organizations."

"ABSTRAK

Pembangunan infrastruktur mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Perusahaan jasa konstruksi memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan infrastruktur di Indonesia. Pemanfaatan knowledge management dan sistem manajemen mutu berpotensi untuk meningkatkan kinerja berbagai jenis organisasi, termasuk juga perusahaan jasa konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dengan memanfaatkan penerapan knowledge management dan sistem manajemen mutu, dengan memperhatikan budaya organisasi yang ada di perusahaan jasa konstruksi Indonesia. Korelasi Pearson dan structural equation modelling digunakan untuk mempelajari hubungan-hubungan dari variabel-variabel penelitian. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah jenis budaya klan dan pasar berpengaruh terhadap penerapan knowledge management dan sistem manajemen mutu, kemudian dibuat rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan berdasarkan temuan ini.


ABSTRACT

Infrastructure development promotes economic growth in a country. Construction companies have key roles in infrastructure development in Indonesia. Knowledge management and quality management system implementation have potencies for improving organization's performances, including construction companies performances. This study aimed to improve the company's performances using the implementation of knowledge management and quality management system concerning organizational culture in Indonesian Construction Companies'. Pearson's correlation and structural equation modelling were used to study relationships between research variables. It is found that clan culture and market culture are affecting the implementation of knowledge management and quality management system, then recommendations are proposed for performance improvement in Indonesian Construction Companies based on this findings.

"Pelayanan merupakan tugas utama sebuah organisasi pemerintahan tidak terkecuali dengan Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika. Biro Kepegawaian dan Organisasi merupakan satuan kerja di bawah unit Sekretariat Jenderal Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika nomor 25/P/M.KOMINFO/7/2008 tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika, salah satu fungsi yang diselenggarakan oleh Biro Kepegawaian dan Organisasi yaitu penyelesaian masalah-masalah kepegawaian. Dalam menyelesaikan masalah kepegawaian, pengetahuan dan pengalaman seorang pegawai sangat dibutuhkan sehingga diperlukan sebuah knowledge management system untuk mengelola dan mendistribusikan pengetahuan serta pengalaman tersebut kepada pegawai lainnya agar pelayanan prima pun dapat terwujud. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah rancangan model knowledge management system yang sesuai dengan kondisi Biro Kepegawaian dan Organisasi dalam mewujudkan pelayanan prima melalui analisis dan perancangan prototipe dari model yang dikembangkan. Model knowledge management system dihasilkan dari analisis faktor-faktor kontingensi yang kemudian dipetakan ke dalam SECI model dari Nonaka dan Takeuchi. Model knowledge management system yang dikembangkan pada Biro Kepegawaian dan Organisasi sesuai dengan tugas pokok dan fungsinya termasuk ke dalam penangkapan pengetahuan yaitu melalui proses internalisasi dan eksternalisasi. The service was the main task of an organization of the government including with the Department of Communication and Informatics. The bureau of Employment and Organization is a part of Secretariat General in Department of Communication and Informatics. Based on Minister Communications and Informatics regulation number 25/P/M.KOMINFO/7/2008 about the Organization and managerial in Department of Communication and Informatics, one of the functions that was held by the Bureau of Employment and Organization that is solving the employment problems.In resolving the problem of the employment, knowledge and the experience of an employee really were needed so we needed Knowledge Management System to manage and distribute knowledge as well as this experience to the other employee so that the good service could be then realized. This research aim to getting model of Knowledge Management System according with condition at Bureau of Employment and Organization in realizing good service through analysis and develop prototype from developed model. Knowledge Management System Model is yielded from contingency factor analysis and then mapped into Nonaka and Takeuchi SECI model.Knowledge management system model what is developed at Bureau of Employment and Organization as according to fundamental duty and its function representing in knowledge capture that is internalization and externalization process. Knowledge management system application from model can be used to evaluated that model and also strategy needed for implementing that knowledge - management. "ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh berbagi pengetahuan terhadap keterikatan kerja dengan peran mediasi pengembangan kompetensi, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen afektif pada karyawan generasi Y di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara daring melalui situ google form. Responden yang terkumpul sebanyak 407 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara berbagi pengetahuan dengan pengembangan kompetensi, hubungan positif signifikan antara pengembangan kompetensi dengan komitmen afektif, hubungan positif signifikan antara berbagi pengetahuan dengan komitmen afektif, hubungan positif signifikan antara pengembangan kompetensi dengan kepuasan kerja, hubungan positif signifikan antara berbagi pengetahuan dengan kepuasan kerja, hubungan positif signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen afektif, dan hubungan positif signifikan antara komitmen afektif dengan keterikatan kerja. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi memediasi hubungan antara berbagi pengetahuan dengan komitmen afektif.

ABSTRACT
This study analyzes how the effect of knowledge sharing on work engagement with the mediating role of competency development, job satisfaction and affective commitment on generation Y employees in Indonesia. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires online through the google form site. Respondents collected were 407 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge sharing and competency development, a significant positive relationship between competency development and affective commitment, a significant positive relationship between knowledge sharing and affective commitment, a significant positive relationship between competency development and job satisfaction, a significant positive relationship between sharing knowledge with job satisfaction, a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and affective commitment, and a significant positive relationship between affective commitment and work engagement. The results also show that competency development mediates the relationship between knowledge sharing and affective commitment."

"ABSTRAK
Hampir dua puluh tahun semenjak penelitian di bidang modal intelektual pertama kali berkembang, modal intelektual telah terbukti berperan penting dalam kinerja perusahaan. Namun penelitian modal intelektual cenderung dilakukan pada negara maju dan industri yang bersifat padat modal intelektual. Studi ini dilakukan untuk memenuhi dua tujuan. Pertama, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan modal intelektual dan komponenya pada proses penciptaan nilai tambah yang diukur dari sisi finansial atau moneter bagi perusahaan di industri sektor nonfinansial Indonesia. Kedua, penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pengaruh modal intelektual lintas industri melalui bukti empiris perusahaan di pasar Bursa Efek Indonesia BEI . Analisis dilakukan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 123 perusahaan dari 24 industri di pasar BEI selama periode 2013-2016. Modified Value Added Intellectual Coefficient MVAIC digunakan untuk mengukur kontribusi modal intelektual pada proses penciptaan nilai tambah. Nilai tambah diukur pada aspek moneter atau kinerja finansial perusahaan, seperti profitabilitas dan tingkat pengembalian perusahaan menggunakan proksi earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, net profit margin, return on asset, dan return on equity. Hasil penelitian studi disimpulkan ke dalam beberapa point penting. Pertama modal intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kinerja finansial perusahaan di Indonesia meskipun pengaruh komponen modal intelektual bervariasi. Kedua, modal manusia dan modal relasi adalah komponen yang paling bermanfaat dan signifikan mempengaruhi profitabilitas dan tingkat pengembalian perusahaan. Tiga, industri padat modal dan rendah modal intelektual tidak memiliki perbedaan pada konteks penggunaan dan pemanfaatan modal intelektual. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada kekurangan pengukuran kontribusi modal intelektual menggunakan MVAIC dan penggunaan database Thomson Reuters Datastream. Studi ini mengisi kekosongan penelitian modal intelektual lintas industri di Indonesia serta memperkaya penelitian modal intelektual dengan menggunakan MVAIC dan variabel lagged.

ABSTRACT
For almost twenty years since the first time intellectual capital research been developed, intellectual capital has proven to play a significant role in corporate performance. However, intellectual capital research tend to be done in developed countries and in intellectual capital intensive industries only. The purpose of this research is twofold. First, this research is purposed to analyse the utilization of intellectual capital and its components on the process of creating value added which is measured from the monetary or financial aspect for firm in Indonesian non financial sector industry. Second, the purpose of this study is to explore the effect of cross industry to intellectual capital through empirical evidence of the company in Indonesian Stock Exchange IDX market. The analysis is conducted using a sample of 123 companies from 24 industries in the IDX market during the period 2013 2016. Modified Value Added Intellectual Coefficient MVAIC is used to measure the contribution of intellectual capital to the value creation process. The value added is measured on the monetary or financial performance aspects of the firm, such as profitability and corporate rate of return using proxy earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, net profit margin, return on assets, and return on equity. The result entails several important points. First, intellectual capital affects significantly the financial performance of firms in Indonesia although the influence of intellectual capital components varies. Second, human capital and relational capital are the most useful and significant components affecting the profitability and corporate rate of return. Third, intellectual capital intensive industries and low intellectual capital industries have no distinction in the context of the use and utilization of intellectual capital. The limitations of this study lie in the lack of measurement of intellectual capital contribution using MVAIC and the use of Thomson Reuters Datastream database. This study fills a gap of cross industry intellectual capital research in Indonesia and enriches intellectual capital research using MVAIC and lagged variables.

"ABSTRAK
Inovasi telah lama diakui sebagai sumber penting bagi pencapaian
keunggulan daya saing. Namun dalam industri asuransi terdapat perbedaan
pandangan terhadap konsep ini; beberapa pelaku industri telah menyadari
pentingnya inovasi sebagai sumber untuk mencapai pertumbuhan dan daya saing,
sementara sebagian lagi lebih memilih imitasi sebagai sumber untuk mencapai
keunggulan biaya rendah. Dalam upaya meneliti isu inovasi dalam industri
asuransi, studi ini memperluas studi Liao, Fei, dan Chen (2007) tentang hubungan
antara knowledge sharing dan kapasitas absorptif dan pengaruh positifnya
terhadap kapabilitas inovasi, dengan memasukkan faktor-faktor penghambat
inovasi ke dalam kerangka studinya; dan meneliti pengaruh positif kapabilitas
inovasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan (e.g.: Garcia-Morales, Llorens-Montes, &
Verdu-Jover, 2008).
Melalui analisis atas data riset dari 212 strategic business unit dari 64
perusahaan asuransi yang beroperasi di Indonesia, studi ini menemukan bahwa
faktor hambatan-inovasi berpengaruh negatif pada kapabilitas inovasi namun
hubungan sinergis antara knowledge sharing dan kapasitas absorptif dapat
mengeliminasi atau meminimalisasi pengaruh negatif tersebut. Studi ini juga
menemukan bahwa faktor-faktor hambatan-inovasi memiliki akarnya di luar
perusahaan namun harus ditangani dengan menggunakan sumber daya
pengetahuan internal. Temuan ini menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai kebutuhan
untuk mengkaji ulang konsep manajemen pengetahuan dan knowledge sharing
agar tidak berfokus hanya pada pengetahuan internal tetapi perlu diperluas dengan
pengetahuan eksternal.
Studi ini menyarankan kepada pelaku industri asuransi di Indonesia untuk
segera meninggalkan strategi ?blind imitation? dan meningkatkan basis
pengetahuan melalui manajemen pengetahuan yang terintegrasi antara
pengetahuan internal dan pengetahuan eksternal; dan kepada regulator asuransi
agar memberikan arahan yang lebih tegas mengenai penggunaan dana pendidikan
dan latihan perusahaan asuransi pada pengetahuan state-of-the-art untuk tujuan
inovasi dalam upaya meningkatkan keunggulan daya saing perusahaanperusahaan
asuransi Indonesia di dalam negeri maupun di pasar regional atau
internasional;

advantage. However, in insurance industry innovation receives conflicting views
from the players; either as a critical source of growth and competitiveness, or
costly undertaking as opposed to low cost imitation. In investigating this issue,
this research extends the study of Liao, Fei, and Chen (2007) on the relationship
between knowledge sharing and absorptive capacity and its effect on innovation
capability, by incorporating innovation barriers into the framework; and the
influence of innovation capability on firm performance (e.g.: Garcia-Morales,
Llorens-Montes, & Verdu-Jover, 2008).
Research in this study, conducted on 212 strategic business units of 64
insurance companies in Indonesia, found that innovation barriers had negative
impact on innovation capability but the synergic relationship between knowledge
sharing and absorptive capacity could reduce such a negative influence. This
study also found that innovation barriers have their roots outside organization but
have to be dealt with by developing and enforcing internal knowledge sharing of
resources. The findings prompt a question of rethinking knowledge management
to not only focus on internal knowledge sharing but to include external knowledge
sharing in an integrated system.
This study recommends the Indonesian insurance industry to immediately
leave the 'blind imitation' strategy and enhance their knowledge base through an
integrated knowledge management between internal knowledge and external
knowledge; and the insurance regulators to provide more explicit direction
regarding the use of funds for insurance company?s education and training on
state-of-the-art knowledge for innovation purpose, in order to increase
competitive advantage of Indonesian insurance companies in domestic market as

"Studi ini meneliti pengaruh kepemimpinan stratejik dan peran komitmen manajemen puncak di pusat pada kinerja organisasi di lapangan serta faktor-faktor mediasi antara kedua konstruk tersebut pada industri minyak dan gas (migas) sektor hulu. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk menguji sebuah model guna menyelidiki: 1) pengaruh kepemimpinan stratejik tingkat manajer lapangan pada kinerja organisasi di lapangan, 2) proses-proses stratejik (perencanaan proyekproyek, koordinasi di lapangan, implementasi proyek-proyek) sebagai faktor mediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan stratejik dan kinerja organisasi, dan 3) peran komitmen manajemen puncak di pusat sebagai faktor mediator kepemimpinan stratejik pada proses-proses stratejik.
Data dikumpulkan dari 134 manajer lapangan di sektor hulu migas. Hasil dari structural equation modeling menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan stratejik mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi di lapangan, perencanaan proyek-proyek dan implementasi proyek-proyek mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi di lapangan secara langsung dan memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan stratejik dan kinerja organisasi di lapangan.
Koordinasi di lapangan tidak mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi di lapangan secara langsung karena banyaknya konflik yang tidak terselesaikan, namun koordinasi di lapangan dapat meningkatkan pengaruh perencanaan proyek-proyek dan implementasi proyek-proyek pada kinerja. Disisi lain, komitmen manajemen puncak di pusat tidak memoderasi kepemimpinan stratejik pada proses-proses stratejik, hal ini dikarenakan kompleksitas permasalahan di lapangan yang tidak mungkin diselesaikan oleh pusat.
Studi ini menyarankan bahwa kepemimpinan stratejik yang berorientasi pada proyek di tingkat manajer lapangan akan dapat meningkatkan pengaruh perencanaan proyek-proyek, koordinasi di lapangan, dan implementasi proyekproyek pada kinerja organisasi di lapangan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk: 1) mengeksplorasi proses-proses stratejik lainnya untuk memperkaya konstruksi pengembangan teori, 2) mencari dimensi lain dari kepemimpinan stratejik untuk memperkuat pengaruh kepemimpinan stratejik pada kinerja organisasi, dan 3) penelitian pada tingkat industri atau perusahaan untuk pengembangan teori.

This study examines the influences of strategic leadership and the role of head quarter's top management commitment on the field organization performance and the mediating factors between the two constructs in the upstream oil and gas sector. The research proposes to test a model to investigate: 1) the influence of strategic leadership at field manager level on the field organization performance, 2) strategic processes (projects planning, field coordination, projects implementation) as mediating factors of a relationship between strategic leadership and organizational performance, and 3) the role of head quarter's top management commitment as moderating factor of strategic leadership on strategic processes.
Data were collected from 134 lower level managers in the upstream oil and gas sector. Structural equation modeling confirms that strategic leadership influences field organization performance, projects planning and projects implementation directly influence the field organization performance and mediate the relationship between strategic leadership and field organization performance.
Field coordination does not directly influence field organization performance due to so many unsettled conflicts, however it enhances projects planning and projects implementation on performance. In the other side, head quarter?s top management commitment does not moderate strategic leadership on strategic processes because of the complexity of the problems in the field.
This study suggests that strategic leadership that has project-oriented at field manager level will enhance projects planning, field coordination, and projects implementation on organization performance. Further research is needed to: 1) explore other strategic processes in order to enrich the theory development constructs, 2) search other dimensions of strategic leadership to strengthen the influence of strategic leadership on organizational performance, and 3) research on the industry or firm level for the theory of development.
