"ABSTRACT
This study is intended to investigate the impact of brand trust, brand affect, self-image congruity, and functional congruity toward brand loyalty of coffee shop visitors. Participants were approached conveniently in several modern coffee shops in August-September 2014 in southern Jakarta. In total, there are four hypotheses to be tested using 200 usable valid questionnaires. As a result, three hypotheses were accepted - the links between brand trust and brand loyalty, self-image congruity and functional congruity, and functional congruity and brand loyalty. This study suggests an alternative model in order to have all hypotheses significant and positive. Brand affect and self-image congruity should not be directly linked to brand loyalty concurrently. Coffee shop managements should consider brand trust and functional congruity as two important factors in maintaining brand loyalty."

A sample of this study was 270 respondents; 135 respondents for each brand. The study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) operated by LISREL program to analyze the hypothesis. The results of this study showed that The Physical Quality, the Ideal Self-Congruence, and the Lifestyle Congruence have a positive and significant impact on the Customer Satisfaction on Excelso and Starbucks. Staff behaviour only have a positive and significant impact on the Customer Satisfaction in the Excelso; whereas, brand identification only have a positive and significant impact on the Customer Satisfaction in the Starbucks. However, in both of coffee shop brand, the Consumer Satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on the Brand Loyalty."

Penelitian bertujuan menguji dampak brand equity terhadap customer satisfaction dan brand loyalty pada konsumen Kedai
Kopi Excelso dan Starbucks. Dalam hal ini, Excelso merupakan kompetitor terkuat dari Starbucks. Penelitian menggunakan data
primer yang dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner tertutup menggunakan skala Likert 1-5. Total responden yang menjadi
sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 270 orang; 135 orang diantaranya merupakan konsumen dari Excelso dan 135 orang merupakan
konsumen dari Starbucks. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dan diolah dengan
bantuan Software LISREL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa physical quality, ideal self-congruence, dan lifestyle congruence
merupakan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction di Excelso dan Starbucks. Staff
behaviour hanya memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction di Excelso; adapun brand identification
hanya memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction di Starbucks. Baik di Excelso maupun di Starbucks,
customer satisfaction memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap brand loyalty."

"Kopi memiliki efek berantai dalam membuka lapangan pekerjaan yang berdampak dalam perekonomian nasional. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari jumlah kedai kopi di Indonesia yang terus mengalami peningkatan, baik merek lokal maupun merek internasional. Dengan demikian, diperlukan strategi baru untuk membuat kedai kopi, khususnya merek lokal agar bisa bertahan di tengah industri kopi yang sangat kompetitif, sehingga penikmatnya boleh setia kepada merek-merek tertentu dan membuat keberlangsungan hidup merek kedai kopi semakin panjang. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi loyalitas konsumen melalui ciri-ciri kepribadian merek, kongruitas, dan kepercayaan merek pada industri kedai kopi lokal. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 328 responden dengan kriteria usia 18 tahun sampai 40 tahun dan telah mengunjungi salah satu di antara kedai kopi lokal (Djournal Coffee, Crematology, Filosofi Kopi, Kopi Kalyan, Anomali, One Fifteenth, dan Tanamera) minimal 3 kali dalam 6 bulan sejak kuesioner penelitian disebar, dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kongruitas diri dan kongruitas fungsional memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku loyalitas konsumen, dengan pengaruh kongruitas diri yang paling besar.

Coffee has a chain effect in creating jobs that have an impact on the national economy.
This can be seen from the number of coffee shops in Indonesia which continues to increase, both local brands and international brands. Thus, a new strategy is needed to make the coffee shop, especially local brands, so that they can survive during a very competitive coffee industry so that consumers can be loyal to certain brands and make the life of the coffee shop even longer. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors that influence consumer loyalty behaviour through brand personality traits, congruity, and customer satisfaction in the local coffee shop. The sample was 328 respondents with criteria aged 18 years to 40 years and had visited one of the local coffee shops (Djournal Coffee, Crematology, Filosofi Kopi, Kopi Kalyan, Anomali, One Fifteenth, dan Tanamera) at least 3 times in 6 months since the research questionnaire was distributed, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The empirical results, in this study a statistical test showed that consumers used their personality to select the brand coffee shops that match with the concept itself.

"Dari awal kemunculannya hingga sekarang, coffee shop sudah menjadi tempat untuk bersosialisasi melalui percakapan. Semakin banyaknya gerai coffee shop baru di kota - kota besar membuat persaingan menjadi semakin ketat sehingga elemen interior dan kualitas akustik coffee shop harus dapat memfasilitasi percakapan pengunjung secara maksimal. Bagaimana pengaruh elemen interior dan kualitas akustik coffee shop terhadap kualitas dan kepuasan percakapan pengunjung akan dibahas pada skripsi ini.

From the initial appearance until now, coffee shop has become a place to socialize through conversation.The growth of new coffee shops in big city makes the competition become more and more stringent so that the interior elements and the acoustic quality of coffee shop should be able to facilitate visitor’s conversation to its maximum. The way that interior elements and acoustic quality of coffee shop effect the quality and satisfaction of visitors’s conversation will be discussed in this thesis."

"ABSTRAK
Pasar kedai kopi berkembang secara global di Indonesia. Saat ini pasar kedai kopi di Indonesia didominasi oleh merek terbesar dan ternama yaitu Starbucks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran pemasaran dan citra merek kedai kopi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Survei dilakukan dengan responden terpilih yang telah mengunjungi kedai kopi setidaknya sekali dalam seminggu. Analisis regresi dilakukan dengan data yang dikumpulkan dari 174 responden. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa faktor produk dan factor harga merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi citra merek. Faktor orang dan faktor proses memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Loyalitas pelanggan sangat terpengaruh oleh faktorharga. Studi ini memberikan dasar untuk strategi pemasaran bagi perusahaan yang akan meluncurkan atau menjalankan merek coffee shop di Jakarta, Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
Coffee shop market is growing globally and in Indonesia as well. Currently coffee shop market in Indonesia is dominated by a giant global chain coffee shop brand, Starbucks. The current study aims to find out the effect of marketing mix and brand image of coffee shop on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The survey was conducted with the purposively chosen customers who have visited coffee shop at least once a week. The regression analysis was performed with the data collected from 174 respondents. The findings revealed that product factor and price factor are important factors affecting the brand image. People factor and process factor had big effect on customer satisfaction. Customer loyalty was affected highly by price factor. This study provides the base for marketing strategy for companies that would launch or run coffee shop brand at Jakarta, Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh keterlibatan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas merek pada kedai kopi lokal di Bandung. Bertambahnya jumlah kedai kopi lokal di Bandung menandakan meningkatnya persaingan di industri kopi, sehingga pengelola harus membuat strategi untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan yang menjadi kunci keberlangsungan usahanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 214 responden yang diperoleh melalui metode random sampling dengan menggunakan metode analisis data Structural Equation Modeling. Hasilnya, ditemukan bahwa tingkat keterlibatan dan kepuasan konsumen terhadap merek berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas merek.

This study aims to examine the effect of customer involvement on brand loyalty at a local coffee shop in Bandung. The increase in the number of local coffee shops in Bandung indicates increasing competition in the coffee industry, so managers must make strategies to increase customer loyalty which is the key to the continuity of their business. This research was conducted on 214 respondents who were obtained through random sampling method using data analysis method Structural Equation Modeling. The result, it was found that the level of consumer involvement and satisfaction with brands has a positive effect on brand loyalty."

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain riset konklusif dan jenis riset deskriptif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 280 responden dengan teknik non-probability sampling dan pemilihan sampel secara convenience sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi empat (4) kelompok responden. Untuk menguji hipotesis pada penelitian ini digunakan metode structural equation modelling analysis (SEM) dengan teknik pengolahan data menggunakan LISREL. Dalam penelitian ini ditunjukan bahwa diskonfirmasi memiliki pengaruh langsung pada kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen serta kepuasan konsumen yang memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas konsumen.

This thesis discuss about the influence of the physical environment and the disconfirmation of consumer loyalty and satisfaction on customer first-timers and repeat customer Starbucks Coffee and Jakarta Coffee House. This research is quantitative research with conclusive research designs and types of descriptive research. The number of samples in the study as many as 280 respondents with non-probability sampling techniques and the selection of samples by convenience sampling. The samples of this study will separate to four (4) groups of respondents. To test the hypothesis, this study used methods of structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis with the data processing techniques using LISREL. This study indicated that disconfirmation has a direct influence on consumer satisfaction and loyalty as well as consumer satisfaction that have a positive influence on consumer loyalty."
