"Kondisi lingkungan kerja yang tidak dapat diprediksi menjadikan organisasi kurang mampu untuk menyediakan career yang aman bagi karyawannya, yang menyebabkan terganggunya career commitment karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pemahaman mengenai faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi career commitment karyawan di dunia kerja, yang dimediasi oleh work engagement serta dimoderasi oleh role modelling. Faktor yang diuji antara lain intrinsic career growth, extrinsic career growth dan employee resilience. Studi kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Method (SEM) melalui kuesioner online dilakukan terhadap 415 responden generasi Milenial yang bekerja di sektor Fast Moving Consumer Goods di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian peran mediasi work engagement pada intrinsic career growth dan resilience terhadap career commitment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa peran role modelling sebagai moderator mampu memperkuat hubungan antara variabel career growth dan resilience dengan career commitment melalui work engagement. Perusahaan FMCG perlu untuk memperhatikan dan meningkatkan organizational career growth dan resilience karyawan yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan work engagement karyawan, serta pada akhirnya memengaruhi career commitment karyawan.

In an unpredictable and changing working environment, career and employment disruption has been profoundly affected organizations and employees in multiple industries, such as organizations become unable to provide a safe career for their employees which ultimately lower employee's career commitment. This study aims to expand our understanding of the factors that influence employees' career commitment, as mediated by work engagement, and moderated by role modelling. Factors tested: intrinsic career growth, extrinsic career growth and employee resilience. The quantitative study using online questionnaire, collects data from 415 millennialsin Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry (FMCG). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) used to analyze the data and the proposed hypotheses. This study shows that the mediating role of work engagement on intrinsic career growth and resilience to career commitment have a positive and significant effect. The results show role modelling as a moderator is able to strengthen the relationship between career growth and resilience with career commitment through work engagement. FMCG companies need to pay attention and improve organizational career growth and employee resilience which in turn will increase employee work engagement and affect employee career commitment."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap kegiatan Assessment Center Polri Di lingkungan Polda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dalam pengembangan karier perwira untuk jabatan Kapolsek dan Kasat Reskrim. Penelitian menggunakan teori assessment center Alvin Lum (2015) yakni Assessment Center itu merupakan suatu cara atau metode untuk mengukur suatu potensi atau kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh manusia dengan memprediksi atau memperkirakan perilakunya di masa depan melalui simulasi dari perilaku yang ditunjukan oleh assessee dalam menangani beban dan tanggung jawab yang akan diberikan nantinya. Permasalahan pokok dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan Assessment Center dalam pengembangan karier para perwira di Polda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan post positivist. Pengumpulan data melaui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan para perwira senior di lingkungan Polda Kepulauam Bangka Belitung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses Assessment Center Polri yang dilaksanakan Polda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung belum dilaksanakan sesuai teori dan ditemukan tahapan yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan-ketentuan dalam Uniform Guidelines dan Standards and Ethical Considerations for Assessment Center Operation.

This study aims to analyze the activities of the National Police Assessment Center in the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police in the career development of officers for the posisions of the head of Police Sector and the head of Criminal Investigations. The study uses the theory of Assessment Center by Alvin Lum (2015), namely the Assessment Center is a method to measure a potential or ability possessed by humans by predicting or predicting their behavior in the future through simulations of the behavior shown by the assessee in dealing with burdens and responsibilities of his or her duties and responsibility that will be given later. The main problem of this research is how the implementation of the assessment center for the career development of police officers at the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police. This study uses a post-positivist approach, and data collection through documentation studies and in-depth interviews with senior officers in Regional Police of Bangka Belitung Islands. The research findings showed that the Police Assessment Center processes carried out by the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police had not been carried out according theory and it was found that the stages were not yet implemented according to the Uniform Guidelines and Standards and Ethical Considerations for Assessment Center Operations."

"Pegawai fungsional memiliki peranan penting dalam pencapaian realisasi pajak. Untuk menunjang pencapaian target, pegawai fungsional di DJP perlu memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Pada Kementerian Keuangan, salah satu langkah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pegawai dilaksanakan dengan pengembangan karir. Akan tetapi, terdapat sejumlah masalah yaitu adanya belum tercapainya target penerimaan pajak selama lima tahun terakhir menyebabkan pentingnya kualitas pegawai fungsional, adanya ketimpangan jumlah pegawai fungsional dan struktural, dan masih terdapat pegawai yang belum memahami dan memiliki perencanaan karir individu. Permasalahan tersebut menjadikan urgensi penelitian pengembangan karir di Kantor Pusat DJP dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengembangan karir pegawai jabatan fungsional dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan organisasi di Kantor Pusat Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan post-positivist dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dan data sekunder melalui studi dokumen. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Pengembangan Karir dari Gutteridge (1986). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir sudah memenuhi kedua variabel dalam teori Gutteridge (1986) dan dilaksanakan dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan organisasi. Pelaksanaan pengembangan karir pada Kantor Pusat DJP Kementerian Keuangan lebih condong pada peran organisasional. DJP dalam melaksanakan pengembangan karir telah dilakukan berdasarkan analisa kebutuhan organisasi. Adapun ketimpangan jumlah pegawai fungsional dan struktural masih terjadi karena masih dalam proses rekrutmen terbuka dan pengalihan jabatan. Selain itu, dilihat dari variabel perencanaan karir, terlihat masih ada pegawai yang belum memahami perlunya memiliki perencanaan karir individu. Hal ini disebabkan karena faktor tuntutan tanggung jawab seorang ASN yang harus taat pada aturan organisasi, sehingga pegawai cenderung untuk mengikuti alur karir yang sudah disediakan organisasi.

Functional employees have an important role in achieving tax realization. To support the achievement of targets, functional employees at DGT need to have competencies that match the needs of the organization. At the Ministry of Finance, one of the steps to improve employee competence is carried out by career development. However, there are a number of problems, namely that the tax revenue target has not been achieved during the last five years, causing the importance of the quality of functional employees, an imbalance in the number of functional and structural employees, and there are still employees who do not understand and have individual career plans. These problems make the urgency of career development research at the DGT Head Office. The purpose of this study is to analyze the career development of employees in functional positions in meeting organizational needs at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. This study used a post-positivist approach with descriptive research and primary data collection techniques through interviews and secondary data through document study. In this study, using the theory of Career Development from Gutteridge (1986). The results of this study indicate that career development has fulfilled the two variables in Gutteridge's (1986) theory and is carried out in order to meet organizational needs. Implementation of career development at the Head Office of the Ministry of Finance DGT is more inclined towards an organizational role. DGT in carrying out career development has been carried out based on an analysis of organizational needs. The imbalance in the number of functional and structural employees still occurs because it is still in the process of open recruitment and transfer of positions. In addition, seen from the career planning variable, it appears that there are still employees who do not understand the need to have an individual career plan. This is due to the demands of the responsibility of a civil servant who must obey organizational rules, so that employees tend to follow the career path that has been provided by the organization"

"Mahasiswa yang telah memiliki keputusan karier di saat menempuh pendidikan tinggi ditemukan mendapatkan kemudahan dalam menjalani kehidupan karier pada tahap selanjutnya karena lebih mudahnya mengenali peluang karier yang hadir setelah menyelesaikan masa studi (Ya'ar & Sunay, 2020). Terlebih lagi, era revolusi industri 4.0 memberikan tantangan karier yang semakin besar kepada para mahasiswa, dimana persaingan kini terjadi pada lingkup global dan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan dari sumber daya manusia menjadi semakin kompleks. Maka dari itu, keputusan karier sangat dibutuhkan sebagai faktor pendukung agar individu dapat bertahan di dunia karier saat ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kepribadian proaktif sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara peerrelatedness dan keputusan karier. Peneliti menggunakan adaptasi Bahasa Indonesia dari alat ukur The Youth Relatedness Scale untuk mengukur peer-relatedness, Proactive Personality Scale untuk mengukur kepribadian proaktif, dan Career Decision Profile untuk mengukur keputusan karier. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 472 orang mahasiswa S1 pada jenjang tingkat akhir dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memoderasi hubungan antara peer-relatedness dan keputusan karier mahasiswa tingkat akhir (p < 0.05). Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi bagi para pembimbing akademis, dosen, maupun mahasiswa mengenai pentingnya menerapkan kepribadian proaktif pada hubungan pertemanan dengan teman sebaya selama proses perencanaan dan penentuan keputusan karier mahasiswa tingkat akhir.

Students who have made career decisions while pursuing universities found easier to live their career life at a later stage because it is easier to recognize career opportunities that come after completing the study period (Yaşar & Sunay, 2020). What's even more, the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 provides a bigger career challenge for students, where competition is now happening on a global scale and the skills needed from human capital is becoming increasingly complex. Therefore, career decidedness is needed as a main factor, so that students can survive in today's career. This research is a quantitative study that aims to see the influence of proactive personality as a moderator in the relationship between peer-relatedness and career decidedness. In this study, researchers used the Indonesian adaptation of The Youth Relatedness Scale to measure peer-relatedness, the Proactive Personality Scale to measure proactive personality, and the Career Decision Profile to measure career decidedness. The sample in this study amounted to 472 final year students from various areas in Indonesia. The results of the data analysis showed that proactive personality had a significant influence in moderating the relationship between peer-relatedness and career decidedness (p <0.05). The results of this study have implications for academic supervisors, lecturers, and students regarding the importance of applying proactive personality for peer relationships during the career planning and career decision making process of final year students."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh career adaptability, perceived organizational support, dan career satisfaction terhadap turnover intention pada tenaga kerja generasi milenial Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan cross-sectional design dan metode purposive sampling untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari 424 tenaga kerja generasi milenial Indonesia (lahir antara 1980-2000) dan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career satisfaction memiliki peran penting dalam mencegah turnover intention serta memediasi hubungan di antara career adaptability dan perceived organizational support terhadap turnover intention. Pemberdayaan berupa peningkatan adaptabilitas dan dukungan organisasi perlu diikuti dengan adanya kepuasan karier dalam rangka mencegah keinginan untuk keluar dari organisasi.
Studi ini memberikan kontribusi kepada manajemen dan literatur sumber daya manusia mengenai pentingnya peran mediasi career satisfaction terhadap career adaptability dan perceived organizational support dalam rangka menurunkan turnover intention tenaga kerja generasi milenial di Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the effect of career adaptability, perceived organizational support, and career satisfaction on turnover intention on the Indonesian millennial generation. This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design and purposive sampling method to collect primary data. The sample in this study was obtained from 424 Indonesian millennial generation workers (born between 1980-2000), and data processing was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method.
The results showed that career satisfaction has an important role in preventing turnover intention and mediating the relationship between career adaptability and perceived organizational support for turnover intention. Empowerment, in the form of improving individual adaptability and organizational support, needs to be followed by career satisfaction to prevent the desire to leave the organization.
This study contributes to the management and human resource literature regarding the important role of career satisfaction mediation on career adaptability and perceived organizational support to reduce the turnover intention of the millennial generation in Indonesia.

"Angka turnover yang tinggi pada Generasi Y menjadi masalah serius bagi perusahaan. Perusahaan perlu cara yang berbeda untuk menghadapi Generasi Y karena mereka berbeda dari generasi sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menawarkan konstruk jangkar karir sebagai cara untuk memahami perbedaan perilaku kerja antara Generasi X dan Generasi Y. Jangkar karir adalah persepsi individu terhadap kebutuhan, nilai-nilai, dan bakat yang membentuk keputusan karirnya (Igbaria & Baroudi, 1993). Jangkar karir ini memberikan informasi yang relevan mengenai apa yang diinginkan seseorang dari karir mereka daripada konstruk lain. Terdapat dua generasi yang mendominasi tempat kerja saat ini yaitu Generasi X dan Generasi Y. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan jangkar karir pada karyawan Generasi X dan Generasi Y.
Jangkar karir terdiri dari sembilan dimensi. 303 subjek (Generasi X= 106 ; Generasi Y= 197) diperoleh dengan Career Orientation Inventory. Hasil analisis menggunakan independent sample t-tes menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Y memiliki skor lebih tinggi yang signifikan daripada Generasi X pada delapan dimensi jangkar karir yaitu geographic security, job security, managerial competence, autonomy, sense of service, pure challenge, entrepreneurship, dan lifestyle. Hanya pada satu dimensi yaitu technical competence Generasi Y tidak memiliki skor lebih tinggi yang signifikan daripada Generasi X.

High rate of turnover in Generation Y has ben a serious problem for companies. Companies need different ways to deal with Generation Y turnovers from the ways the currently do with the previous generations. This research offers career anchors as a way to understand differences in work behavior between Generation X dan Generation Y. Career anchors are individual's needs, values, and talents that give shape to career decision (Igbaria & Baroudi, 1993). Career anchors provide more relevant information than other constructs do about what an employees want from. There are two generations currently dominateing workplace, Generation X and Generation Y. This study aims to determine differences of career anchor between Generation X and Generation Y employees.
Career anchor consists of nine dimensions. 303 subjects (106 Generation Xs and 197 Generation Ys) filled out Career Orientation Inventory. Independent sample t-test analysis shows that Generation Ys significantly scored higher than Generation X in eight dimensions of career anchors including geographic security, job security, managerial competence, autonomy, sense of service, pure challenge, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle. Only in one dimension, technical competence, that Generation Y‟s did not significantly scored higher significantly than Generation X`s."

"Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh proactive personality dan career adaptability dalam memprediksi in-role performance melalui job crafting dan work engagement. Hipotesis yang diusulkan bahwa karyawan yang memiliki kepribadian proaktif dan kemampuan beradaptasi karir kemungkinan besar akan merancang pekerjaan mereka untuk tetap terlibat dan meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Temuan dari studi sebelumnya telah diintegrasikan ke dalam model keseluruhan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan keterlibatan kerja serta meningkatkan kinerja peran di tempat kerja saat ini. Data dikumpulkan dari 180 karyawan generasi milenial yang bekerja di berbagai industri. Hasil dari penelitian menemukan bahwa karyawan yang memiliki proactive personality dan career adaptability dapat merancang pekerjaan mereka sehingga sehingga meningkatkan work engagement dan in-role performance. Hasil dari penelitian mendukung hipotesis yang diusulkan. Namun, hubungan career adaptability dan work engagement dimediasi penuh oleh job crafting sehingga hubungan langsung antara career adaptability dan work engagement tidak signifikan.

This paper aims to investigate whether proactive personality and career adaptability could predict work engagement and in-role performance through job crafting behaviours and analyzed their effect using PLS SEM. The study hypothesised that employees who have a proactive personality and career adaptability would be most likely to design their jobs to stay engaged and improve their performance. Findings from previous studies have been integrated into an overall model that can be used to develop work engagement as well as advance the in-role performance in today’s workplace. Data were collected among 180 of employees belonging to the millennial generation working in various organisations. The results found that employees having proactive personality and adaptability in their career were most likely to craft their job, and in turn, was predictive of the work engagement and their performance as well. Most of the results indicated support for the hypotheses. Job crafting was found to be mediating the career adaptability and work engagement relationship fully. However, the direct relationship between career adaptability and work engagement is not significant.

PT Pos Indonesia menjadi perusahaan yang mementingkan kinerja karyawan yang baik dan dapat membuat karyawan memiliki komitmen afektif yang kuat terhadap perusahaan serta memiliki pengembangan karir yang pasti. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh career development terhadap employee performance dengan affective commitment sebagai variabel mediasi (Studi pada PT Pos Indonesia Regional 4). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh affective commitment sebagai variabel mediasi memengaruhi career development terhadap employee performance pada karyawan PT Pos Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebar ke 100 orang responden karyawan tetap bagian manajerial dan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam pnelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dan sobel test untuk menghubungkan variabel independen dengan variabel dependen menggunakan variabel mediasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa career developmet memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee performance. Namun, hasil penelitian career developmet terhadap employee performance lebih besar saat menggunakan variabel affective commitment

Employee performance is an important part of the HR in the company. To build a good company the employees are having a high commitment to the company and it can make employee performance better. PT Pos Indonesia is a company that emphasizes employee performance and can make them have a strong affective commitment to the company and have a definite career development. Therefore, this study is to analyze the effect of career development on employee performance with affective commitment as a mediation variable (Study Of PT Pos Indonesia Regional 4). The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of affective commitment as a mediation variable affecting career development on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia employees.This study uses quantitative methods by spread to 100 respondents as full-time employees of the managerial division and using stratified random sampling techniques. The data analysis technique in this study use regression analysis and sobel test to connect the independent variable with the dependent variable using the mediation variable. The results of this study indicate that career development has an influence on employee performance. However, the results of the career development research on employee performance were greater when using the affective commitment variable"

"Penelitian ini menguji peran career adaptability sebagai antesenden career engagement dengan dimediasi oleh career satisfaction dan promotability. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia (BPK RI) dengan total responden sebanyak 298 orang. Keseluruhan responden merupakan pegawai BPK RI dengan Jabatan Administrasi Umum dan Pemeriksa dengan masa kerja di atas lima tahun. Untuk memperoleh respon dari para responden, kuesioner disebarkan secara online melalui google-form dan link yang telah disediakan.
Alat ukur yang digunakan, antara lain Career Adaptability Scales (CAAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Savickas & Porfeli (2012), Career Satisfaction Scales (CSS) yang dikembangkan oleh Greenhaus et al., (1990), four-item scale yang dikembangkan oleh Shore, Barksdale, dan Shore (1995), serta Career Engagement Scale  (CES) yang dikembangkan Hirschi, Freund, dan Herrmann (2014). Untuk analisis data, metode yang digunakan adalah SEM (Structural Equation Modelling).
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualifikasi, kompetensi, dan kinerja PNS sesuai dengan sistem merit yang berlaku di era reformasi birokrasi, khususnya di BPK RI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa career adaptability memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap career satisfaction, promotability, dan career engagement. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membuktikan career satisfaction dan promotability memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara career adaptability dengan career engagement.

This study examined the role of career adaptability as antecedents of career engagement mediated by career satisfaction and promotability. This research was conducted at The Supreme Audit Board in Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) with a total of 298 respondents. All respondents were BPK RI employees in General Administration and Auditor position with a tenure of more than five years. In order to get responses from respondents, questionnaires were distributed online through google-form and links provided.
The measuring instruments used for this study were Career Adaptability Scales (CAAS) developed by Savickas & Porfeli (2012), Career Satisfaction Scales developed by Greenhaus et al., (1990), four-item scales developed by Shore, Barksdale, and Shore (1995), and also Career Engagement Scale (CES) developed by Hirschi, Freund, and Herrmann (2014). A Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyse data.
This research was expected to contribute in improving the qualifications, competencies, and performance of civil servants in accordance with the merit system prevailing in the era of bureaucratic reform, especially at BPK RI. The results indicated that career adaptability related positively and significantly with career satisfaction, promotability, dan career engagement. In addition, this study also showed that career satisfaction and promotability partially mediated the relationship between career adaptability and career engagement."

"Penelitian ini melihat perbedaan fokus karir antara pekerja dewasa muda yang mengalami pindah kerja dan tidak pindah kerja di Jakarta dengan tinjauan teori tahapan karir Super. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan analisis dilakukan dengan independent sample t-test. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 221 pekerja yang berada pada tahapan usia dewasa muda, bekerja di Jakarta, memiliki jenjang karir dan pernah atau tidak pernah mengalami pindah kerja. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur fokus karir dewasa yang dimodifikasi dari alat ukur Adult Career Concern Inventory Short Form yang disusun oleh Perrone, Gordon, Fitch dan Civiletto (2003). Alat ukur ini digunakan untuk mengukur fokus mereka terhadap tahapan karir.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas partisipan berada pada tahapan maintenance. Hasil analisis independent sample t-test, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok yang pindah kerja dan tidak pindah kerja di tahapan exploration. Akan tetapi, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dua kelompok tersebut pada tahapan establishment, maintenance dan disengagement.

This study describes the difference of career concern between young adulthood workers who have and haven`t the experience of turnover in Jakarta by using Super`s career stage theory. This is a descriptive research using a quantitative method with independent sample t-test as a statistical technique to analyze. The participants of this research were 221 of young adulthood workers who work in Jakarta, have a career path in their companies and had or never had turnover in their careers. The inventory of this research was Adult Career Concern Inventory (ACCI) which had been adapted from the same inventory constructed in 2003 by Perrone, Gordon, Fitch and Civiletto.
The result illustrates that most of the participants are in the maintenance stage. Meanwhile, based on the result of the independent sample t-test, there are differences between the group that has the experience of turnover and has not the experience of turnover in the exploration stage. In other side, there are no differences between two groups in the establishment stage, the maintenance stage and the disengagement stage."
