"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai unsur cinta dalam film Летят журавли/Burung Jenjang Beterbangan karya Mikhail Kalatozov (1957). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi cinta yang yang terdapat dalam film. Digunakan teori segitiga cinta dan bentuk-bentuk cinta oleh Robert J. Sternberg untuk menemukan penggambaran cinta yang ditunjukkan pada adegan dan interaksi tokoh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah film Летят журавли/Burung Jenjang Beterbangan menunjukkan seluruh komponen cinta yang digambarkan dalam tujuh dari delapan bentuk cinta.

This study discusses the elements of love in the movie Летят журавли/The Cranes are Flying by Mikhail Kalatozov (1957). The purpose of this study is to identify the love contained in the movie. The triangular theory of love and kinds of love by Robert J. Sternberg are used to find a depiction of love shown in scenes and character interactions. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method. The results obtained from this study are that the film Летят журавли/ The Cranes are Flying n shows all the components of love which are depicted through seven of the eight forms of love."

"Dalam menyusun subtitle bahasa sasaran, tahap tahap yang tepat harus dipertimbangkan untuk menjaga orisinalitas dan keterbacaan film. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk mengidentifikasi strategi subtitle dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan dalam Frozen 2 (2019) dan menentukan bagaimana penerjemah menghindari pelanggaran batasan teknis media audiovisual. Studi ini melaporkan dengan melakukan analisis kualitatif deskriptif pada strategi subtitling dengan total data 300 layar. Kerangka teoritis dari penelitian ini didasarkan pada klasifikasi Henrik Gottlieb tentang strategi subtitling antarbahasa dan dimensi teknis media audiovisual yang dikemukakan oleh Cintas dan Ramael. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sepuluh strategi, terdapat tujuh kriteria Gottlieb yang ada pada subtitle bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia dari Frozen 2 dan strategi yang paling sering digunakan adalah transfer. Sementara itu, strategi jarang digunakan adalah strategi resignation dan strategi dislocation. Selain itu, penerjemah mempertahankan maksimal dua baris, 57 karakter dalam satu layar dan setiap layar memiliki durasi rata-rata tiga detik. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerjemah menjaga orisinalitas dan keterbacaan subtitle bahasa Indonesia Frozen 2 dengan menggunakan strategi yang tepat dan memperhatikan batasan teknis pada subtitle Frozen 2.

In constructing the subtitle of the target language, a proper measure should be considered in order to maintain the originality and the readability of the movie. This study was an attempt to identify the subtitling strategies from English into Indonesian employed in Frozen 2 (2019) and determine how the translator avoided breaching the technical limitation of audiovisual media. The study reports on a descriptive qualitative analysis of subtitling strategies with 300 screens. The theoretical framework of the present study was based on Henrik Gottlieb's classifications of interlingual subtitling strategies and Cintas and Ramael's technical dimensions of audiovisual media. The result of the present study showed that out of 10, seven Gottlieb's criteria are applicable to English into Indonesian subtitling of Frozen 2 and the most frequent strategy is transfer, and the inapplicable strategies are resignation and dislocation. In addition, the translator maintained the maximum of two lines, 57 characters in one screen and each screen had an average of three seconds to appear. From this research, it can be concluded that the translator maintained the originality and readability of the Indonesian subtitle of Frozen 2 by heeding to the technical limitation of Frozen 2."

"Kepopuleran film genre komedi romantis di seluruh dunia mendorong kreativitas industri perfilman Korea Selatan untuk menghasilkan film bertemakan cinta yang memiliki kekhasan tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan bagaimana komponen cinta yang terkandung di dalam hubungan antara sembilan pasang tokoh utama film Happy New Year mempengaruhi jenis cinta yang terbentuk merepresentasikan tema kecil yang dipayungi tema besar yaitu ragam cinta manusia modern. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis unsur intrinsik yaitu tema yang dikaji menggunakan Teori Segitiga Cinta oleh Robert Sternberg. Teori ini memaparkan tiga komponen utama cinta yang terdiri atas keintiman (intimacy), hasrat (passion), dan keputusan atau komitmen (decision/commitment) dalam setiap hubungan yang berperan dalam membentuk delapan jenis cinta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terbentuknya delapan jenis cinta dari hubungan sembilan pasang tokoh utama yaitu terdiri dari tanpa cinta (nonlove), rasa suka (liking), cinta gila (infatuated love), cinta kosong (empty love), cinta romantis (romantic love), cinta persahabatan (companionate love), cinta bodoh (fatuous love), dan cinta sempurna (consummate love). Hasil penelitian memaparkan kombinasi komponen cinta menghasilkan delapan jenis cinta representasi delapan tema kecil yang dipayungi satu tema besar yaitu ragam cinta manusia modern.

The popularity of romantic comedy genre films throughout the world has encouraged the creativity of the South Korean film industry to produce love-themed films that have their own characteristics. This research aims to explain how the components of love contained in the relationships between the nine pairs of main characters in the film Happy New Year influence the kinds of love that is formed, representing a small theme under the umbrella of the large theme which is the variety of modern human love. Qualitative descriptive research methods were used to analyze intrinsic elements, namely themes studied using the Triangular Theory of Love by Robert Sternberg. This theory explains the three main components of love consisting of intimacy, passion, and decision or commitment in every relationship which play a role in forming eight kinds of love. The results of the analysis show the formation of eight kinds of love from the relationships of nine pairs of main characters, namely nonlove, liking, infatuated love, empty love, romantic love, companionate love, fatuous love, and consummate love. The results of the research explain that the combination of love components produces eight kinds of love, representing eight small themes which are covered by one large theme which is the variety of modern human love."

"Skripsi ini membahas proses tumbuhnya cinta dalam film Indonesia yang berjudul Heart dan Daisy yang merupakan film Korea. Proses tumbuhnya cinta yang dibahas merupakan cinta segitiga yang terjalin pada tiga tokoh utama masing- masing film. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan pendekatan psikologi sastra untuk mengetahui sisi psikologi tokoh yang sangat berperan besar dalam proses tumbuh kembangnya cinta dalam cerita kedua film ini. Hasil studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kedua film yang sama-sama mengangkat tema cinta segitiga dengan penyajian yang mirip ini tidak ada hubungan saling mempengaruhi karena rasa cinta bersifat universal, bisa dialami siapa saja dan kapan saja.

This research discusses the emerging process of love in Indonesian movie entitled Heart and Korean movie entitled Daisy. The discussed love process is considered as love triangle involving the three main characters in each movie. This research uses descriptive analysis method and literary psychology approach to observe the psychological side of the characters whose role are very important in the emerging process of love in each story. The result of the research shows that the two movies, of which love triangle becomes the main theme, are not related and have no influence to one another. It is because the feeling of love is universal; love can be felt by anyone and it can emerge anytime."

"Dalam waktu dimana industri perfilman sudah menjadi bagian penting dari budaya populer, ada baiknya bila kita tidak meremehkan pentingnya media tersebut, yang sudah tertanam di kesadaran umum. Dengan menganalisa tema-tema yang berulang di film karya Christopher Nolan, karya ini bermaksud menyelidiki apabila tema dan pesan sebuah film terpancar pada penonton yang melihatnya, dan mungkin melihat seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Penelitian akan dilakukan melalui analisis terhadap resensi-resensi dari beberapa film Nolan dan melihat bila tema yang dibawakan konsisten dalam reaksi penonton. Dari temuan dan analisis, telah ditemukan data yang bisa dianggap suportif terhadap pandangan ini, konsisten dengan konsep-konsep yang diterangkan dalam teori paradigma naratif Robert Fisher, dan bagaimana kiasan sebuah film, dalam peranya sebagai sebuah naratif komunikasi, diterima oleh penonton.

In a time where the film industry is such a cornerstone of pop culture, we must not underestimate the socio-cultural significance of said media being so entrenched in the public consciousness. By analysing recurring themes in the works of film director Christopher Nolan, this paper aims to find out if a film’s themes and messages reached the audience that watches them, and perhaps even find to what degree they are influenced by it. Determining this will be done by collecting and analysing reviews of a selection of Nolan’s movies and noting if the themes Nolan intended were consistent or not in audience reactions. From the findings and analysis, there has been found data with possible supportive interpretations consistent with ideas outlined in Robert Fisher’s Narrative paradigm and how the conventions of a movie may affect how a film, in its role as a communicative narrative, is received."

"Film Spijt! merupakan film yang diadaptasi dari novel karya Carry Slee dengan judul yang sama. Film yang menceritakan tentang kehidupan seorang siswa bernama Jochem yang menjadi korban perundungan dari tiga orang teman sekelasnya ini diliris pada tahun 2013 di Belanda. Penelitian ini berisi analisis bentuk-bentuk perundungan yang diterima Jochem pada sequence tertentu dengan menggunakan teori semiotik. Hasil analisisnya, ditemukan tiga dari empat bentuk perundungan yaitu perundungan fisik, perundungan verbal dan perundungan relasional dengan total jumlah adegan sebanyak enam belas adegan di dalam sebelas sequence. Perundungan fisik terdapat dalam delapan adegan, perundungan verbal terdapat dalam enam adegan dan perundungan relasional terdapat dalam dua adegan.

Spijt! movie is a film adapted from Carry Slee's novel of the same name. The film which tells the life of a student named Jochem who was a victim of abuse from three of his classmates was released in 2013 in the Netherlands. This research discusses analysis of the forms of bullying that accepted by Jochem in certain sequences by using semiotic theory. The results of this analysis, there are three of the four forms of bullying, named physical bullying, verbal bullying and relational bullying. With a total of sixteen scenes in eleven sequences. There are eight scenes of physical bullying, six scenes of verbal bullying and two scenes of relational bullying."

"Film dapat berisi penggambaran peristiwa sejarah yang terjadi di masa lampau. Salah satu film yang menggambarkan peristiwa sejarah adalah film De Oost. De Oost menggambarkan penjajahan yang dilakukan Belanda di Indonesia pada tahun 1946 di Sulawesi Selatan. De Oost disutradarai oleh Jim Taihuttu dan dirilis pada tahun 2020. De Oost memperlihatkan penjajahan Belanda di Indonesia baik yang dilakukan secara fisik maupun verbal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan oleh para tokoh yang terdapat dalam film De Oost tepatnya yaitu disfemisme. Beberapa dialog dalam film tersebut mengandung disfemisme yang dipicu oleh rasa marah, tidak suka, dan perasaan superior atau dominan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam jenis disfemisme dengan posisi tertinggi pada jenis membandingkan orang dengan binatang dan sumpah serapah. Disfemisme banyak dilakukan oleh prajurit Belanda sebagai pihak penjajah atau penguasa. Dari temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa seiring dengan tema film De Oost yakni penjajahan, maka disfemisme yang muncul dalam film De Oost dipicu oleh dominasi kuasa pihak superior yakni prajurit Belanda yang terlihat dalam bahasa yang mereka gunakan sehari-hari.

Films can contain depictions of historical events that occurred in the past. One film that depicts historical events is De Oost. De Oost depicts the Dutch colonisation of Indonesia in 1946 in South Sulawesi. De Oost is directed by Jim Taihuttu and was released in 2020. De Oost shows the Dutch colonisation of Indonesia both physically and verbally. This research focuses on the verbal crimes committed by the characters in De Oost, namely dysphemism. Some dialogues in the film contain dysphemisms triggered by anger, dislike, and feelings of superiority or dominance. This research uses qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. This research shows that there are six types of dysphemism with the highest position in the type of comparing people with animals and swearing. Many of the dysphemisms were done by Dutch soldiers as the colonisers or rulers. From the findings, it can be concluded that along with the theme of De Oost, namely colonialism, the dysphemisms that appear in De Oost are triggered by the dominance of the power of the superior party, namely the Dutch soldiers, which can be seen in the language they use daily.
