"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran dukungan guru yang dirasakan dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kecemasan bahasa asing (FLA) pada siswa sekolah/perguruan tinggi negeri dan mahasiswa tahun pertama di Pakistan. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 147 partisipan diantaranya 90 partisipan berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 56 partisipan laki-laki, yang berasal dari sekolah sektor publik Pakistan. Sampel dipilih secara acak antara rentang usia (18 – 28 tahun), Data penelitian diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 23 . Prosedur analisis data dimulai dengan statistik deskriptif untuk melihat rata-rata dan persentase data. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji independent sample t-test untuk melihat ada tidaknya perbedaan antara demografi data dan tingkat kecemasan bahasa seperti jenis kelamin, pendidikan, status sosial ekonomi, dan tingkat pendidikan orang tua. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan antara jenis kelamin, partisipan laki-laki menunjukkan skor FLA sedikit lebih tinggi daripada partisipan perempuan. Selanjutnya ditemukan pada partisipan dari keluarga kelas menengah dan kelas bawah memiliki kecemasan berbahasa Inggris yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang lain. Berdasarkan pendidikan orang tua ,tingkat pendidikan ayah tidak menunjukkan perbedaan kecemasan bahasa yang signifikan, namun berdasarkan skor rata-rata tingkat pendidikan ayah menengah menunjukkan kecemasan bahasa Inggris yang lebih tinggi daripada yang lain. Sedangkan tingkat pendidikan ibu menunjukkan beberapa perbedaan yang signifikan, latar belakang pendidikan ibu SD dan SMP menunjukkan kecemasan bahasa Inggris yang lebih tinggi daripada yang lain. Selanjutnya uji analisis regresi berganda dan korelasi Pearson mengungkapkan bahwa dukungan guru yang dirasakan dan kepercayaan diri berkorelasi dengan kecemasan bahasa asing pada siswa umum di Pakistan. Sementara itu, analisis regresi mengungkapkan bahwa hanya kepercayaan diri yang merupakan prediktor signifikan dari FLA. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa, guru dan dosen di institusi sektor publik Pakistan perlu meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa siswa dan melatih keterampilan bahasa Inggris di kelas, dan di luar kelas, seperti dengan memberikan komentar positif yang dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa sehingga mereka akan lebih percaya diri saat berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris.
......The current research study aims to examine the role of perceived teacher support and Self-confidence towards Foreign language anxiety (FLA) among public school/colleges and fresh graduates in Pakistan. The target population of this research was the students of high school, college and first year undergraduates studying in public institutions in Pakistan. The current study sample was 147 public school/college and first-year undergraduates, 90 females and 56 from Pakistani public sector students. The sample was selected randomly between the age range of (18 - 29), and all of the participants were studying in the public sector. For the data analysis statistical package of social sciences (SPSS version23) was used to drive the results of the study. Data analysis procedures begin with descriptive statistics to investigate means and percentage of the data. Further, independent samples t-test was run to see any difference between demographic of the data and language anxiety level such as gender, education, socio-economic status, and parental educational level. The results revealed differences in anxiety levels in gender males were higher reported slightly high on FLA. Further in family income middle class and lower class of family income have higher English language anxiety than others. For parental education and language anxiety differences, the father's education didn’t show any significant difference. However, based on the mean score fathers education level of intermediate showed higher English language anxiety than others. Whereas, mother's education level showed some significant differences, mothers educational background of Primary and middle showed higher English language anxiety than others. Further, the multiple regression analysis and Pearson correlation revealed that perceived teacher support and self-confidence were correlated with foreign language anxiety in public students in Pakistan. At the same time, regression analysis revealed that only self-confidence was a significant predictor of FLA. In conclusion, the current study suggests that teachers and lecturers need to further students' language skills and practice English language skills in and outside of the class. By providing positive remarks so in result the self-confidence of students will improve, and they will feel more confident when communicating in English."

"Thought stopping pada penelitian sebelumnya efektif terhadap ansietas tetapi belum optimal menurunkan respon fisiologis ansietas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan pengaruh terapi thought stopping dan progressive muscle relaxation terhadap ansietas klien dengan gangguan fisik. Metode penelitian adalah quasi experimental pre-post test with control group. Penelitian dilakukan pada 56 klien yaitu 28 kelompok intervensi mendapat thought stopping dan progressive muscle relaxation dan 28 kelompok kontrol hanya mendapat thought stopping.
Hasil menunjukan ansietas klien yang mendapat thought stopping dan progressive muscle relaxation menurun dari ansietas sedang ke ansietas ringan sedangkan yang mendapat thought stopping menurun tetapi tetap berada pada ansietas sedang. Thought stopping dan progressive muscle relaxation menurunkan respon fisiologis, kognitif, perilaku dan emosi secara bermakna (p value<0,05).

Thought stopping dan progressive muscle relaxation direkomendasikan unruk penanganan ansietas di tahanan rumah sakit umum dan masyarakat. Previous research had showed that thought stopping decreased anxiety but not yet optimal in physiological responses of anxiety. This study aims to determine the influence of thought stopping and progressive muscle relaxation on anxiety of physical disorder patient. This study used quasi experimental design with pre test-post test control group. Total population were 56 patients that divided into two group. They were 28 patients as control group that received thought stopping and 28 patients as intervention group received combination thought stopping and progressive muscle relaxation.
Result showed anxiety in intervention group decreased from moderate anxiety to mild anxiety and control group decreased still in moderate anxiety. Thought stopping and progressive muscle relaxation decreased physiologic, cognitive, behavior and emotional responses of anxiety significantly (p-value<0,05). The combination of this therapy was recommended as therapy to solve the anxiety at general hospital and community."

"Coronavirus disease 2019 atau Covid-19 adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Hingga saat ini, terdapat lebih dari 179 juta kasus Covid-19 terkonfirmasi di dunia, sedangkan di Indonesia terdapat lebih dari 2 juta kasus terkonfirmasi. Pasien Covid-19 dengan derajat berat hingga kritis seperti Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) pertama kali dirawat di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) menyebabkan penumpukan (crowding). Penanganan untuk pasien Covid-19 derajat berat dan kritis memerlukan suplementasi oksigen dengan aliran yang lebih tinggi, salah satunya dengan Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV). Komplikasi dari pemasangan NIV di antaranya ketidaknyamanan, ketidakpatuhan, dan ketakutan hingga mempengaruhi kondisi psikososial pasien. Salah satu masalah psikososial yang ditemui dari pemasangan NIV pada pasien Covid-19 adalah ansietas berat. Case report ini mengilustrasikan salah satu pasien yang membutuhkan NIV dan mengalami ansietas yaitu Ny R. Intervensi keperawatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi ansietas tersebut yaitu dukungan emosional. Dukungan emosional berdampak terhadap kondisi psikologis yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan fisik secara umum pada pasien Covid-19 dan mampu bekerja sama untuk dilakukan pemasangan NIV sebagai tatalaksana pernapasan yang dilakukan di IGD
......Coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19 is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Until now, there are more than 179 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the world, while in Indonesia, there are more than 2 million confirmed cases. Covid-19 patients with severe to critical degrees such as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) are first treated in the Emergency Room (ER) causing crowding. Treatment for severe and critical Covid-19 patients requires supplementation of oxygen with a higher flow, one of which is Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV). Complications of NIV installation include discomfort, non-compliance, and fear that affect the patient's psychosocial condition. One of the psychosocial problems encountered from the installation of NIV in Covid-19 patients is severe anxiety. This case report illustrates one patient who needs NIV and experiences anxiety, namely Mrs. R. Nursing interventions that can be done to reduce this anxiety are emotional support. Emotional support impacts on psychological conditions that can affect the general physical health of Covid-19 patients and being cooperative to carry out NIV installation as one of the respiratory management in the ER."

"[ABSTRAK
Kecemasan merupakan hal yang sering dilaporkan ketika anak dihadapkan pada proses
operasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan buku cerita
bergambar terhadap kecemasan sebelum operasi. Design Penelitian adalah quasi
eksperiment:Post test-only non equivalen control group. Sampel penelitian adalah 34
anak usia sekolah yang akan menjalani operasi, dipilih dengan teknik Consecutive
sampling. Kelompok intervensi diberikan informasi dengan buku cerita bergambar dan
kelompok kontrol mendapatkan informasi rutin rumah sakit. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan anak yang mendapatkan persiapan dengan buku cerita bergambar
mengalami kecemasan sebelum operasi lebih rendah (p=0,003). Penelitian ini
merekomendasikan pemberian informasi dengan buku cerita bergambar sebagai salah
satu intervensi persiapan operasi
