"Tesis ini membahas tentang persepsi orang tua terhadap tayangan sinetron remaja dan pubertas terhadap anak mereka yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat melalui aspek visual, narasi, dan nilai yang dilihat oleh para orang tua dari sebuah sinetron yang disaksikan oleh mereka. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode FGD dan desain Deskriptif-Kualitatif sebagai strategi analisis data. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa orangtua menyadari akan sisi negatif dari sinetron terhadap anak-anak mereka dan dapat menyebabkan anak mengalami pubertas dini, namun mereka tak dapat melakukan apapun karena mereka sendiri telah ”kecanduan” dalam menontonnya. Penelitian ini juga dilengkapi dengan pendapat beberapa pakar yang mengungkapkan suatu fakta terbaru bahwa anak yang tertepa tayangan yang tak sesuai dengan umurnya, apalagi mengandung seksualitas (meskipun tak secara vulgar) dapat menyebabkan kerusakan di lima bagian otaknya.

This study jbcuses on the parents ’ perception on Indonesian television cinema and earbv puberty that can hit their children who are still in primary school. There are 4 points that we will know about their perception, such as visual, narration, value from the cinema that they have watched and early puberty of their children The analysis data strategic of this research is using descrqvtive-qualitative design with focused group discussion as the main method and deep interview to support it. The researcher finds that all parents who joined the discussion realize about the negative ejcctsfom television cinemas and that it also can cause early puberty to their children. But unjbrtunatebt, they could not do anything to avoid it, because the parents themselves have been addicted to watch it. This research is also completed by some experts’ opinions that will show us the newest fact about the children who like to watch television cinemas and that it can cause the damage of their brain in 5 parts."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan memperlihatkan representasi tokoh perempuan dominan dalam alih wahana dari novel ke seri televisi Game of Thrones. Metode deskriptif analisis dengan teori feminisme tentang gender digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana tokoh-tokoh perempuan tersebut merepresentasikan ide perempuan sebagai bentuk perempuan dominan. Dari hasil analisis tampak bahwa seri televisi menggambarkan perempuan-perempuan sebagai tokoh yang lebih mandiri, simpatik dan cerdas dibandingkan novel.

This analysis aims to show the representation of dominant female characters in the adaptation from the novel to the television series Game of Thrones. Descriptive analytical method with feminism theory about gender are used to see how the female characters represent the idea of ​​women as a form of dominant women. "Serial televisi Hannibal NBC 2013 yang bergenre detektif-kriminal dan horor adalah franchise Hannibal terbaru. Serial televisi ini dianggap membongkar citra lama pendahulunya, salah satunya dengan menambahkan beberapa tokoh perempuan. Skripsi ini berfokus pada representasi tokoh perempuan dalam Hannibal 2013 yaitu membandingkan representasi mereka dengan stereotipe perempuan dalam genre detektif-kriminal dan horor. Penulis juga menggunakan konsep the final girl dan monstrous-feminine untuk menganalisis data. Penulis menemukan bahwa, di satu sisi, representasi tokoh perempuan dalam serial televisi ini memberdayakan dan medobrak beberapa stereotipe dalam kedua genre tersebut. Di sisi lain, representasi mereka memiliki ambivalensi. Maskulinitas dan monstrosity mereka membuat mereka tidak sepenuhnya mendobrak stereotipe perempuan dalam genre detektif-kriminal dan horor.

NBC's Hannibal 2013 is the latest adaptation of the Hannibal franchise. This television series is considered to have dismantled the image of its predecessor, one of which is by adding several female characters. This undergraduate thesis focuses on the representation of female characters in Hannibal 2013 by comparing their representation with female stereotypes in detective criminal and horror genre. This research utilizes the concepts of the final girl and monstrous feminine to analyse the data. It is found that the female character representation in this television series is empowering and dismantles some stereotypes in both genres. However, there is ambivalence in their representation. Their masculinity and monstrosity caused them to not completely dismantle the female stereotypes in the detective criminal and horror genre."
