"Influencer menjadi kunci utama konsumen dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian. Dengan kekuatan yang dimilikinya, influencer berupaya melakukan endorsement dan menciptakan merek sendiri untuk mendapatkan keuntungan komersial dan meningkatkan personal branding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara anteseden dari consumer’s brand attitude dan purchase intention. Penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM untuk mengolah data dari 385 responden berusia 16-34 tahun yang mengetahui dan/atau mengikuti akun media sosial dan belum pernah membeli salah satu merek milik influencer di Indonesia seperti Menantea, Payakumbuah, Street Boba, Secondate, By Lizzie Parra (BLP), Mother of Pearl (MOP), Lafiye, Minimslm, dan Iwearup. Hasil penelitian adalah influencer-brand congruence, brand-consumer congruence, brand authenticity, dan influencer involvement berpengaruh positif terhadap brand attitude, yang selanjutnya berpengaruh positif terhadap purchase intention. Sementara itu, consumer involvement dan influencer-consumer congruence tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti mengajukan implikasi manajerial dan saran untuk penelitian berikutnya.
Influencer is the key driver of consumer’s purchase decision. Influencers exert their power to influence consumer through endorsement and creating Influencer-Owned Brand to gain comercial opportunities and to increase personal branding. This study aims to examine the antesedent of consumer’s brand attitudes and purchase intention. This study uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data from 385 respondent with 16-35 years who familiarize themselves with one of targeted Indonesian influencer owned brand and have not experienced in buying the product. The targeted influencer-owned brand involves Menantea, Payakumbuah, Street Boba, Secondate, By Lizzie Parra (BLP), Mother of Pearl (MOP), Lafiye, Minimslm, dan Iwearup. The findings is influencer-brand congruence, brand-consumer congruence, brand authenticity, and influencer involvement positively influence brand attitude, which then positively influence purchase intention. Meanwhile, consumer involvement and influencer-consumer congruence is not significantly influenced brand attitude. According to the findings, this study also proposes managerial implications and suggestions for future studies."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepribadian selebriti olahraga, dengan fokus pada Roger Federer, terhadap niat beli konsumen terhadap produk Uniqlo di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana ciri kepribadian dan citra Roger Federer sebagai selebriti olahraga terkenal mempengaruhi niat beli konsumen terhadap produk Uniqlo, dengan melibatkan variabel mediasi seperti kesesuaian selebriti-dan-brand, transfer citra merek, dan kredibilitas merek yang di-endorse. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner survei dari 197 konsumen di wilayah Jabodetabek. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) untuk memberikan wawasan yang berharga mengenai efektivitas penggunaan selebriti olahraga dalam mempengaruhi niat beli konsumen, yang didasari oleh kesesuaian selebriti-dan-brand, transfer citra merek, dan kredibilitas merek yang di-endorse. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran kepribadian selebriti olahraga dan variabel mediasi dalam mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi strategi pemasaran, khususnya dalam konteks Uniqlo dan pasar Jabodetabek.
This study examines the influence of sports celebrity personality, focusing on Roger Federer, on consumer purchase intentions towards Uniqlo products in the Jabodetabek region. It investigates how Roger Federer's personality traits and image as a renowned sports celebrity affect consumers' intentions to buy Uniqlo products, with mediating variables such as celebrity-brand fit, brand image transfer, and endorsed brand credibility. Using a quantitative approach, the study collected data through a survey questionnaire from 197 consumers in Jabodetabek. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to gain valuable insights into the effectiveness of using sports celebrities to influence consumer purchase intentions, mediated by celebrity-brand fit, brand image transfer, and endorsed brand credibility. The findings contribute to understanding the role of sports celebrity personality and mediation variables in influencing consumer behaviour, offering practical implications for marketing strategies, particularly in the context of Uniqlo and the Jabodetabek market."

"Fenomena Korean Wave kini sudah mendunia dan Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara utama yang sangat terdampak oleh fenomena ini. Sehingga penggunaan selebritis Korea kini digunakan oleh perushaan di Indonesia sebagai endorser dengan tujuan agar dapat mempercepat consumer purchase. Namun, terdapat sebuah gap antara fenomena tersebut dengan teori pemilihan celebrity endorser. Untuk memperoleh celebrity endorser yang tepat, biasanya celebrity tersebut harus memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan image dari celebrity tersebut harus cocok atau sesuai dengan produk. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukan adanya hubungan yang tidak cocok antara celebrity dan brand, namun celebrity endorser yang digunakan diakui dan disetujui oleh konsumen maka celebrity tersebut akan dianggap congruent dengan brand apa pun. Kasus dengan celebrity endorser Korea dengan brand situs belanja online, belum diketahui hubungannya, karena berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, Indonesia masih berada dalam kategori yang belum sepenuhnya memandang Korean Wave sebagai suatu fenomena yang sudah diadposi. Sehingga, penelitian ini akan berfokus kepada hubungan celebrity – brand congruence antara celebrity endorser Korea dengan brand e-commerce terhadap consumers’ purchase intention. Sebanyak 332 responden dengan umur antara 18 – 41 dan sudah pernah melihat iklan situs belanja online yang menggunakan celebrity endoser Korea, mengisi kuesioner secara online. Metode structural (SEM) digunakan untuk menguji dan mengevaluasi hipotesis. Model ini menemukan bahwa Attitudes Towards Brand tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap consumers’ purchase intention dan celebrity - brand congruence tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap consumers’ purchase intention. Penelitian ini, secara praktis dapat diterapkan kepada Situs Belanja Online untuk mengatur strategi pemasaran kedepannya untuk meningkatkan consumers’ purchase intention dengan menggunakan celebrity endorser Korea
The Korean Wave phenomenon has now become global, and Indonesia is one of the countries that is greatly affected by this phenomenon. The use of Korean celebrities as endorsers is increasing among local companies especially on online marketplaces to generate purchase intention. Celebrity – Brand Congruence is one of the factors when choosing the right celebrity as an endorser, the image of the Celebrity and the Brand should match. Previous studies show an incongruent relationship between Celebrity and the Brand but still managed to maintain the congruency image as the celebrity is accepted and acknowledged by consumers. The congruency between Korean Celebrity and Online Marketplace has not been tested, as previous studies show that Indonesia has not fully viewed Korean Wave as an adopted phenomenon. An online survey was used and was filled out by 332 respondents aging between 18 – 41 and who have already seen an online marketplace advertisement that uses Korean celebrities as their endorsers. Structural Equation Model was used to test the hypothesis. The results show that Celebrity – Brand Congruence has no direct effect on Purchase Intention for online marketplaces and Brand Credibility has the most significant effect on Purchase Intention. This study offers managerial implications to online marketplaces in using celebrity endorsers more effectively, as marketing communication tools to increase revenue."

ABSTRAKSaat ini di Indonesia, industri fitness cukup berkembang dengan munculnya berbagai fitness boutique yang menyediakan kelas-kelas khusus. Hal ini menjadi bukti bahwa gaya hidup sehat mulai diterapkan bagi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya wanita karena banyak dari fitness boutique yang ditujukan bagi wanita. Trainstation Studio merupakan salah satu fitness boutique yang memiliki fasilitas cukup lengkap dan terkenal dikalangan wanita. Penelitian ini ingin mempelajari apakah perceived similarity dengan pelanggan lain (homophily) di Trainstation Studio dapat mempengaruhi self-image congruence dan self-brand congruence yang akan mempengaruhi attitude positif dan membuat pelanggan melakukan word of mouth yang positif dan return intention. Kemudian, penelitian ini ingin mempelajari apakah need for status (high dan low) memoderasi hubungan perceived similarity terhadap self-brand congruence dan membuktikan variabel self-image congruence memediasi hubungan perceived similarity dan self-brand congruence. Metode purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan terdapat 202 responden yang berkontribusi. Kuesioner penelitian disebarkan secara online dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pemodelan Partial Least Square- Structured Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived similarity dengan pelanggan lain mempengaruhi self-brand congruence dan self-image congruence yang akan mempengaruhi attitude positif dan berujung pada word of mouth dan return intention. Need for status baik yang tinggi maupun rendah berperan sebagai moderasi dalam hubungan antara perceived similarity dan self-brand congruence dan self-image congruence terbukti memediasi hubungan antara perceived similarity dengan self-brand congruence.
ABSTRACTThese days, Indonesian fitness industry is quite developed with the emergence of fitness boutiques which provide specific classes. This proofs that a healthy lifestyle is applied by Indonesians, especially women because many fitness boutiques are aimed at women. Trainstation Studio is one of the fitness boutiques which has all-in one and well-known facilities among women. This study wants to discuss whether perceived similarity with other customers (homophily) in Trainstation Studio can affect self-image congruence and self-brand congruence which will affect the positive attitude of customers and make customers give a positive word of mouth and return intention. In addition, this study also discuss whether the need for status (high and low) moderates the relationship of perceived similarity and self-brand congruence and proofs that variable self-image congruence mediates the relationship of perceived similarity and slef-brand congruence. The purposive sampling method was used in this study and there were 202 respondents who contributed. The research questionnaire was distributed online and data were analyzed using Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that perceived similarity with other customers affects self-brand congruence and self-image congruence which will affect positive attitudes and lead to positive word of mouth and return intention. Needs for status for both high and low serve as moderation in the relationship between perceived similarity and self- brand congruence and self-image congruence is proven to mediate the relationship between perceived similarity and self-brand congruence."

"Tesis ini membahas pengaruh familiaritas dan keselarasan dalam membentuk ekuitas merek berbasis konsumen pada produk TOP Coffee. Hasil penelitian pada produk ini memiliki kesesuaian dengan penelitian sebelumnya pada produk yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa familiaritas dan keselarasan dapat membentuk ekuitas merek berbasis konsumen dengan melewati beberapa variabel dependen yaitu kredibilitas duta iklan dan kredibilitas merek. Familiaritas duta iklan tidak dapat membentuk kredibilitas merek dan kredibilitas duta iklan tidak dapat membentuk ekuitas merek berbasis konsumen tanpa melewati kredibilitas merek terlebih dahulu.
This thesis discusses the influence of endorser familiarity and endorser brand congruence in the form of consumer based brand equity on TOP Coffee products. Results of research on these products have compatibility with previous studies on different products. The results showed that familiarity and endorser brand congruence can establish a consumer based brand equity by passing some dependent variables such as the credibility of celebrity endorser and the brand credibility. Endoser familiarity can not be established brand credibility and the credibility of the celebrity endorser can not establish a consumer based brand equity without passing through the brand credibility first."
