"Peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap konsumen di wilayah DKI Jakarta mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen tersebut dalam menggunakan produk perawatan kulit. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat saat ini terdapat banyak sekali produk perawatan kulit yang beredar di pasar, dan dari penyebaran kuisioner yang dilakukan, setelah dilakukan proses analisis dengan menggunakan factor analysis ditemukan bahwa faktor merek, harga, promosi, kualitas produk, kualitas layanan, desain kemasan dan setting toko merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen DKI Jakarta dalam menggunakan produk perawatan kulit.

This research examines Jakarta consumers use behavior in regard to skin care products. The primary objective is to investigate what the factors affecting their using decision. The research conducted in consideration of the various number of skin care products available in the market and tight competition among the products. The primary research conducted by distributing the questionnaire and analyzed with factor analysis method. The finding of the research is brand name, price, promotion, product quality, service quality, design of packaging, and setting counter or store environment are considered important factors for the consumers in order to make a decision toward using the skin care products."

"Gangguan integritas kulit merupakan masalah yang umum ditemukan pada lansia sebagai akibat dari penuaan yang menurunkan fungsi fisiologis. Xerosis atau kulit kering merupakan salah satu masalah kulit yang banyak dialami lansia. Faktor risiko yang berpengaruh terjadinya xerosis pada lansia, di antaranya faktor usia, tingkat ketergantungan, asupan cairan, dan faktor lingkungan seperti suhu, kelembapan, dan paparan sinar matahari. Lansia dengan keluhan xerosis membutuhkan intervensi keperawatan perawatan kulit untuk meningkatkan status hidrasi kulit dan mencegah perburukan lebih lanjut. Perawatan kulit terdiri dari pembersihan kulit dan terapi emolien menggunakan agen topikal minyak kelapa murni dan aloe vera. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan intervensi keperawatan perawatan kulit dalam mengatasi masalah gangguan integritas kulit pada lansia dengan xerosis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan setelah dilakukan intervensi selama 12 hari terdapat penurunan skala Overall Dry Skin Score (ODSS) dari 3 (parah) menjadi 2 (sedang). Kesimpulannya, perawatan kulit dapat menjadi salah satu intervensi keperawatan dasar untuk gangguan integritas kulit xerosis pada lansia. Intervensi ini akan lebih optimal apabila diterapkan dengan konsisten setiap hari berturut-turut dengan didampingi asupan cairan yang adekuat, menghindari paparan sinar matahari, menggunakan tabir surya, dan modifikasi lingkungan.

A common issue in the elderly is impaired skin integrity because aging decreases physiological function. A common skin issue among the elderly is xerosis, or dry skin. Age, dependence level, fluid intake, and environmental elements including temperature, humidity, and sun exposure are risk factors that affect the development of xerosis in the elderly. To increase skin moisture and stop future deterioration, nursing intervention skin care are necessary for elderly adults who complain of xerosis. Skin washing and emollient therapy utilizing topical substances like virgin coconut oil and aloe vera make up skin care. This case study intends to demonstrate how skin care can be used to address the issue of weakened skin integrity in the elderly. This case study intends to demonstrate how skin care can be used to treat elderly xerosis patients who have decreased skin integrity. According to the analysis's findings, the Overall Dry Skin Score (ODSS) scale decreased from 3 (severe) to 2 (moderate) after 12 days of nursing intervention. In conclusion, one of the fundamental nursing care for xerotic skin integrity issues in the elderly can be skin care. This intervention will be more effective if used consistently every day in a row along with proper fluid intake, minimizing sun exposure, utilizing sunscreen, and environmental adjustment."
