Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran kepuasan gaji dan kepuasan karier pada kepuasan hidup Generasi Y. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur Job Satisfaction Scale untuk mengukur kepuasan gaji, Career Satisfaction Scale untuk mengukur kepuasan karier, dan Satisfaction with Life Scale untuk mengukur kepuasan hidup. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner online pada 116 karyawan Generasi Y dengan convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan karier lebih dapat berperan dalam memprediksi kepuasan hidup dibandingkan kepuasan gaji pada karyawan Generasi Y. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan untuk memberi perhatian khusus pada kepuasan karier karyawan Generasi Y.
The aim of this study is to examine the impact of pay satisfaction and career satisfaction to life satisfaction in Generation Y. This is a quantitative study using Job Satisfaction Scale to measure pay satisfaction, Career Satisfaction Scale to measure career satisfaction, and Satisfaction with Life Scale to measure life satisfaction. Data collection was done using online questionnaire to 116 Generation Y employees with convenience sampling. Study results shows that career satisfaction can predict life satisfaction more than pay satisfaction. Hence, companies should consider giving close attention to career satisfaction of Generation Y employees.

Abstrak :
Perilaku kerja inovatif berperan penting dalam keberlanjutan perusahaan. Ambidextrous leadership diduga merupakan salah satu prediktor yang berperan dalam perilaku kerja inovatif pada management trainee. Penelitian ini berfokus pada management trainee karena karakteristik yang unik dari management trainee sebagai bagian dari pengembangan talenta di perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran ambidextrous leadership beserta perilaku kepemimpinan terbuka dan tertutup sebagai dimensi-dimensinya dalam memprediksi perilaku kerja inovatif pada management trainee. Untuk melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti merekrut 206 management trainee sebagai partisipan untuk mengisi kuesioner yang disebarkan secara daring. Pengujian hipotesis dengan metode statistik regresi berganda menemukan bahwa ambidextrous leadership tidak dapat memprediksi perilaku kerja inovatif. Di sisi lain, ambidextrous leadership yang ditelaah melalui dimensi-dimensinya, yaitu perilaku kepemimpinan terbuka dan tertutup, mampu memprediksi perilaku kerja inovatif. Implikasi dari hasil studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada organisasi terkait pengelolaan program management trainee. ......Innovative work behavior plays a crucial role in the sustainability of the company. Ambidextrous leadership is presumed to be one of the variables that play a role in predicting innovative behavior among management trainees. The present study focuses on management trainees because of the unique characteristics of management trainees as part of talent development in the company. The present study aims to investigate the role of ambidextrous leadership and its dimensions, namely opening and closing leadership behaviors, on innovative work behavior among management trainees. To conduct this study, 206 management trainees were recruited to fill out a questionnaire distributed online. Hypotheses testing using multiple regression analysis shows that ambidextrous leadership cannot predict innovative work behavior. On the other hand, ambidextrous leadership examined through its dimensions, namely opening and closing leadership behaviors, significantly predict innovative work behavior. The implication of these findings is expected to be able to contribute to organizations concerning the management of management trainee programs.

Penelitian ini ingin melihat hubungan antara persepsi kesempatan promosi dan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan Generasi Y di beberapa perusahaan. Pengukuran persepsi kesempatan promosi menggunakan alat ukur Job Descriptive Index (JDI) yang disusun oleh Bowling Green State University (2009) dan merupakan pengembangan Job Descriptive Index (JDI) oleh Smith, Kendall, dan Hullin (1970) dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar .825. Pengukuran komitmen organisasi menggunakan alat ukur Organizational Commitment Scale (OCS) yang dikembangkan oleh Allen dan Meyer (1997) dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar .760. Kuesioner kedua alat ukur ini diberikan kepada 191 karyawan Generasi Y. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi memiliki hubungan yang positif signifikan (r = .315, p < .001) dengan persepsi kesempatan promosi pada karyawan Generasi Y. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan bahwa berdasarkan data demografis partisipan, jenis kelamin dan tingkat pendidikan tidak memiliki perbedaan mean yang signifikan terhadap kedua variabel tersebut. Sedangkan, data demografis berdasarkan status kepegawaian dan status pernikahan memiliki perbedaan mean yang signifikan pada persepsi kesempatan promosi dan tidak mempunyai perbedaan mean yang signifikan pada komitmen organisasi.
This research intended to see the relationship between organizational commitment and perception of promotional chance among Generation Y employees on several companies. Perception of promotional chance was measured by Job Descriptive Index (JDI) by Smith, Kendall, Hullin (1970) and has reliability coefficient .825. Measurement of organizational commitment conducted with Organizational Commitment Scale (OCS) which is developed by Allen and Meyer (1997) and has reliability coefficient .760. Both of this scale administrated to 191 Generation Y employees. The result showed that organizational commitment had positive significant relationship with perception of promotional chance on Generation Y employees (r = .315, p < .001). This research also showed that according to demographical data of participants, both of variables didn’t differ based on sex and educational level. While demographic data based on employees’ status and marital status had significant mean difference on perception of promotional chance and no significant mean difference on organizational commitment.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang resiliensi dan tipe nilai serta melihat hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut pada anak jalanan peserta didik nonformal. Gambaran resiliensi yang dipakai merujuk pada tiga karakteristik resiliensi Grotberg (2005), yaitu I Am, I Have, dan I Can. Skor resiliensi diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat ukur CD-RISC 10 item. Gambaran tipe nilai merujuk pada 10 tipe nilai dasar Schwartz (2012), yaitu universalism value, benevolence value, power value, self direction value, stimulation value, hedonism value, achievement value, security value, tradition value, dan conformity value.Gambaran tipe nilai diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat ukur Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) 40 item. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Jakarta Utara, Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Timur, Jakarta Selatan, Depok, dan Tangerang. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 111 orang dan 3 orang diantaranya diwawancara secara mendalam. Rentang usia partisipan berkisar mulai dari 12 hingga 18 tahun. Melalui penelitian ini didapatkan tiga hasil penelitian.Pertama, anak jalanan peserta didik nonformal memiliki karakteristik dan kemampuan resiliensi yang baik.Kedua, tipe nilai yang paling penting pada anak jalanan peserta didik nonformal adalah conformity value, sedangkan power value berada di urutan terendah.Ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara resiliensi dengan security value, universalism value, stimulation value dan self direction value. ...... The major purposes of this studywere to get an overview of resilience and type of values as well as to determine the relationship between the two variables on the street children of nonformal learners. The definition of resilience refered to the three characteristics of resilience from Grotberg (2005), which were: I Am, I Have, and I Can. Resilience score wasmeasured by the Connor Davidson Resilience Scale 10 items measurement. Type of values refered to the typology of Schwartz’s 10 basic values (2012), whichwere: universalism value, benevolence value, power value, self-direction value, stimulation value, hedonism value, achievement value, security value, tradition value, and conformity value. Valueswere measured bythe Portrait Values ​​Questionnaire (PVQ) 40 items measurement. Thisstudy was conducted in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, Depok and Tangerang. In all, 111persons, age 12 to 18 years old participated in the studyand 3 persons were interviewed in depth. Through this study, the three research results. First, street children of nonformal learners had resilience capability and showed the characteristic of resilience. Second, the most important type of values in the street children of nonformal learners was conformity value, while the power value was in the lowest order. Third, there was significant positif relationship between the resilience and the security value, Universalism value, self-direction and stimulation value.

[ABSTRAKBR Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan bersyukur pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan metode kuantitatif untuk mengukur dua variabel yakni optimisme dan bersyukur. Alat ukur optimisme menggunakan Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) yang dibuat oleh Scheier, Carver, & Bridges (1994) dan alat ukur bersyukur menggunakan Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) yang dikembangkan oleh McCullough, Emmons, dan Tsang (2001) dan diadopsi dari Amanda (2014). Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 257 orang mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi angkatan 2011, 2012, 2013, dan 2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara optimisme dan bersyukur pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi. ;The aim of this study was to investigate was there any correlation between optimism and gratitude among students of Bidikmisi Schoolarship at University Indonesia. This study was conducted by quantitative study to measure both variables which was optimism and gratitude. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara religiusitas dengan motivasi sukarelawan, dan juga untuk melihat dimensi-dimensi religiusitas yang memiliki hubungan dengan motivasi sukarelawan. Pengukuran religiusitas menggunakan alat ukur religiusitas (Iqbal, 2011) yang diadaptasi dari alat ukur religiusitas milik Fetzer (2003) dan pengukuran motivasi sukarelawan menggunakan alat ukur volunteer motivation inventory (Esmond & Dunlop, 2004). Partisipan penelitian ini adalah sukarelawan yang mayoritas mengikuti kegiatan sukarela di bidang pendidikan dan keagamaan. Total partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 182 orang dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara religiusitas dan motivasi sukarelawan (understanding, reciprocity, dan social interaction). Sebaliknya, tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara religiusitas dan motivasi sukarelawan (values). Selain itu, dimensi religious coping diketahui sebagai satu-satunya dimensi dalam religiusitas yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan motivasi sukarelawan (reciprocity). ...... The Study was conducted to find the relationship between religiousity and volunteer motivation, and also to see which dimensions of religiousity that has a relationship with a volunteer motivation. Measurement of religiousity using religiousity measuring instrument (Iqbal, 2011), adapted from the measuring religiousity instrument?s of Fetzer (2003), and the measurement of volunteer motivation using volunteer motivation inventory (Esmond & Dunlop, 2004). Participants of this study were volunteers who followed the majority of the volunteer activities in the field of education and religious affairs. Total Participants of this study are 182 volunteers who live in Jabodetabek. The results of this study showed a significant positive relationship exists between religiousity and volunteer motivation (understanding, reciprocity, and social interaction). In contrast, there is no significant relationship between religiousity and volunteer motivation (values). In addition, coping religious dimension known as the only dimension in religiousity that has a significant positive relationship with the volunteer motivation (reciprocity).

[ABSTRAKbr Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia. Menurut Scheier dan Carver (1985) optimisme adalah keyakinan secara umum bahwa akan terjadi sesuatu yang baik. Menurut Atkinson (dalam Passer, 2007) motivasi berprestasi adalah keinginan yang positif untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dalam suasana persaingan untuk memperoleh sukses dengan standar yang tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, 247 mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi berpartisipasi dengan cara mengisi kuesioner optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi. Pengukuran optimisme menggunakan alat ukur Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) yang dikembangkan oleh Scheier, Carver dan Bridges (1994), sedangkan motivasi berprestasi diukur menggunakan alat ukur Achievement Motives Scale-Revised (AMS-R) oleh Lang dan Fries (2006). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi memiliki korelasi positif yang signifikan (r=0,15, p=0,018) Hasil korelasi antara optimisme dan dimensi-dimensi motivasi berprestasi menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi dimensi hope of success (r=0,216, p=0,001) dan tidak tidak terdapat korelasi antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi dimensi fear of failure (r=0,025, p=0,701).;This research was conducted to investigate the correlation between optimism and achievement motivation among college student with Bidikmisi scholarship at Universitas Indonesia. According to Scheier and Carver (1985) optimism is general expectation the good thing will happen. According to Atkinson (in Passer, 2007) achievement motivation is a positive desire to accomplice task and complete successfully with standars of excellence. Overall, 247 Bidikmisi student was participated in this research by filling out the questionnaire optimism and achievement motivation. Optimism was measured by Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) constructed by Scheier, Carver and Bridges (1994), while achievement motivation was measured by Achievement Motives Scale-Revised (AMS-R) constructed by Lang and Fries (2006). [ABSTRAKbr Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara identitas organisasi dan perilaku kerja inovatif pada perusahaan X. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pesatnya perkembangan dari industri kreatif. Pendekatan yang sesuai dalam menghadapi hal tersebut adalah pendekatan inovatif yang dapat memicu diterapkannya perilaku kerja inovatif dalam organisasi. Salah satu hal yang dapat memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku kerja inovatif adalah identitas organisasi. Identitas organisasi sendiri memiliki peranan penting dalam memandu perilaku kayawan yang diharapkan muncul. Terdapat total 401 karyawan perusahaan X yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Perusahaan X merupakan perusahaan yang memiliki nilai inovatif dan bergerak dalam bidang industri kreatif dengan sub-kelompok penerbitan dan percetakan. Terdapat dua alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Innovative Work Behavior Scale (Janssen, 2000) dan Organizational Identity Scale (Etikariena, 2015). Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis pearson product moment correlation, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara identitas organisasi dan perilaku kerja inovatif (r= .063, p> .05). ;This research was conducted to see the relationship between organizational identity and innovative work behavior in X Company. It was based on the rapid development of creative industry. One of the approaches to deal with that condition is innovation, which can leads innovative work behavior in organization. One of the factors that can have a correlation with innovative work behavior is organizational identity. Organizational identity itself has a significant role to guide employee’s behaviors. There were 401 employees of X Company that has participated in this research. X Company is an organization that has innovative value and runs in creative industry area, specifically printing and publishing sub-sector. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif kepada 250 mahasiswa penerimana Beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2011, 2012, 2013 dan 2014. Pengukuran optimisme menggunakan Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) yang dikembangkan oleh Scheier, Carver dan Bridges (1994). Perceived social support diukur dengan Social Provisions Scale (SPS) yang dikembangkan oleh Cutrona dan Russell (1987). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara optimisme dan perceived social support (r = 0,000, p = 0,351) pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia.;This research was conducted to find the relationship between optimism and perceived social support among students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia. This research was conducted by quantitative method to 250 students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia class of 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. The result of this research showed that there is significant positive correlation between optimism and perceived social support (r = 0,000, p = 0,351) among students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia., This research was conducted to find the relationship between optimism and perceived social support among students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia. This research was conducted by quantitative method to 250 students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia class of 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Optimism measurement used Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) which developed by Scheier, Carver and Bridges (1994). Perceived social support was measured with Social Provisions Scale (SPS) which developed by Cutrona and Russell (1987). The result of this research showed that there is significant positive correlation between optimism and perceived social support (r = 0,000, p = 0,351) among students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia.]

Industri kreatif merupakan salah satu sektor ekonomi yang lingkungan bisnisnya sangat dinamis dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman Mendorong individu di dalam organisasi untuk melakukan inovasi menjadi salah satu jawaban dari permasalahan tersebut Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal atasan bawahan dan perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan di perusahaan X yang termasuk ke dalam industri kreatif Komunikasi interpersonal atasan bawahan diukur menggunakan Interpersonal Communication Effectivity ICE milik DeVito yang sudah diadaptasi oleh Loina 2012 dan perilaku kerja inovatif diukur menggunakan Innovative Work Behavior Scale IWB Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Janssen 2000 Hasil penelitian terhadap 397 karyawan tetap yang bekerja minimal satu tahun di perusahaan X menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal atasan bawahan tidak memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan perilaku kerja inovatif r 050 p 05 Korelasi parsial dari aspek aspek komunikasi interpersonal atasan bawahan dan perilaku kerja inovatif menunjukkan hanya dua dari lima aspek yang memiliki korelasi secara signifikan yaitu aspek supportiveness r 137 p 05 dan equality r 174 p 05 Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dari jenis kelamin pendidikan level jabatan dan departemen dalam memunculkan perilaku kerja inovatif Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mempertimbangkan konstruk lain yang bisa menjembatani hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal atasan bawahan dan perilaku kerja inovatif
