"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari perbedaan nilai budaya terhadap sikap dan tingkah laku manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari termasuk didalamnya perilaku di organisasi. Nilai budaya jarak kekuasaan (power distance) dianggap memiliki pengaruh dalam menentukan preferensi seseorang dalam memilih gaya penyelesaian konflik yang terjadi diorganisasi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain non eksperimental (ex post facto field study) yang difokuskan pada masyarakat Suku Batak.
Penelitian dilakukan pada 45 karyawan BUMN Z Sumatra Utara yang bersuku Batak. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dimensi nilai budaya yang disusun oleh Dra. Wustari Mangundjaya MOP dan Tim payung penelitian. Korelasi pearson product moment merupakan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab hubungan antara nilai budaya jarak kekuasaan (power distance) dengan gaya penyelesaian konflik.
Hasil perhitungan statistik menunjukan bahwa suku Batak memiliki nilai budaya jarak kekuasaan (power distance) yang tinggi dengan persentase 51,1 % dan gaya penyelesaian konflik yang bersifat aktif yaitu 51,1 %. Dengan nilai koefisen korelasi sebesar -0,04 dengan p sebesar 0,752 (p > .05) dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai budaya jarak kekuasaan (power distance) tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gaya penyelesaian konflik Suku Batak karyawan PT.Jasa Marga Persero cabang Medan Sumatra Utara.
Hasil penelitian menyarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor lain yang mungkin berpengaruh terhadap hubungan antara nilai budaya jarak kekuasaan (power distance) dan gaya penyelesaian konflik seperti faktor internal individu (kepribadian) dan (budaya organisasi).

These researches propose is browsing the effect of distinction of cultural ethics in regard to attitude and human behavior in their daily life including their organization behavior. Power distance is considered has effect in determining some one preferential within finding conflict solving style which happens in organization. These research included in quantitative research with non experimental design (ex post facto filed study) that is focused to Bataknese.
Research did to 45 Bataknese employee BUMN Z Medan North Sumatra branch. Sampling technique that has been used in these researches was accidental sampling. Collecting data method using questionare dimension of culture value which has been arranged by Wustari Mangundjaya as a lecture counselor and student research team. Pearson product moment correlation was one of the analysis technique that has been applied for answering the connection between power distances and conflict solving style.
Statistic calculation result showed that Bataknese has height power distance percentage that is 51.1 % and active condition of solving problem is 51.1 %. Within - 0.04 correlation coefficient and p is 0.752 (p> .05), we can say that power distance does not have a significant relations with solving problem at Bataknese employee of PT Jasa Marga Persero, Medan North Sumatra branch.
The result of research has put forward a suggestion to do further research for getting other factors which probably can be had effect regard to connection between power distance and solving problem for instance personality and organization culture."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor individual (power distance orientation) dan kontekstual (perceived organizational support) yang mempengaruhi voice behavior. Penelitian menggunakan metode online survey menggunakan google form pada 103 karyawan yang berada di daerah DKI Jakarta dan sekitarnya menggunakan alat ukur dengan reliabilitas antara 0,77–0,81.
Hasil analisis moderated regression menunjukkan bahwa: (1) power distance orientation berpengaruh negatif terhadap voice behavior, (2) terdapat peran penting perceived organizational support sebagai moderator untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara power distance orientation dengan voice behavior. Perceived organizational support berperan dalam memperlemah hubungan negatif antara power distance orientation dengan voice behavior.
Model penelitian ini menjelaskan 38% terbentuknya voice behavior. Perceived organizational support tinggi menjadi faktor signifikan dalam memperkuat karyawan dengan power distance orientation rendah untuk semakin menunjukkan voice behavior. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada interaksi antara power distance orientation, perceived organizational support, dan voice behavior.

This study aims to examine individual (power distance orientation) and contextual (perceived organizational support) factors that affect voice behavior. The study utilized online survey method using google form on 103 employees in DKI Jakarta and its surrounding areas using a measuring instrument with reliability between 0.77-0.81.
The results of moderated regression analysis show that: (1) power distance orientation has a negative effect on voice behavior, (2) perceived organizational support as a moderator has important role in explaining the relationship between power distance orientation and voice behavior. Perceived organizational support dampens the negative relationship between power distance orientation and voice behavior.
This research model explains 38% of the formation of voice behavior. High perceived organizational support is a significant factor in strengthening employees with low power distance orientation to increasingly show voice behavior. This research contributes to the interaction between power distance orientation, perceived organizational support and voice behavior."

"Ketika memasuki perguruan tinggi, mahasiswa tahun pertama dihadapkan dengan berbagai tuntutan baru. Penyesuaian ke perguruan tinggi (college adjustment) dibutuhkan di awal masa perkuliahan karena dapat menentukan keberhasilan di perguruan tinggi. Pandemi Covid-19 menghambat college adjustment karena diberlakukannya pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sementara, penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan secara konseptual self-compassion dapat membantu college adjustment. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara self-compassion dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi Covid-19. Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2020 (N = 381) disurvei menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale dan Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire. Uji korelasi Pearson menyatakan bahwa self-compassion dan college adjustment berhubungan positif signifikan (r(380) = 0,55, p < 0,001). Hubungan paling kuat ditemukan antara isolation dan personal-emotional adjustment (r(380) = -0,49, p < 0,001). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa self-compassion cenderung membantu penyesuaian perguruan tinggi dalam konteks pembelajaran jarak jauh.

When entering college, first-year students faced new challenges. College adjustment is necessary in early period of college because it can predict college success. Covid-19 pandemic hinders college adjustment due to distance learning. Meanwhile, a previous study conceptually mentioned that self-compassion supported college adjustment. This study examined the correlation between self-compassion and college adjustment among first-year college students in distance learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Students of Universitas Indonesia batch 2020 (N = 381) were surveyed using Self-Compassion Scale and Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire. Pearson’s correlation test showed a positive significant correlation between self-compassion and college adjustment (r(380) = 0,55, p < 0,001). The strongest correlation was found between isolation and personal-emotional adjustment (r(380) = -0,49, p < 0,001). These findings indicated that self-compassion tends to help a better college adjustment in distance learning context."

"Pacaran jarak jauh merupakan hubungan romantis yang cukup banyak dijalani dengan alasan mengikuti pendidikan dan pekerjaan yang lebih baik. Adanya jarak diantara pasangan sering dianggap menurunkan kepuasan hubungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara attachment dan kepuasan hubungan pada dewasa muda yang sedang berpacaran jarak jauh. Attachment diukur dengan Experience in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R) dan kepuasan hubungan diukur dengan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). Responden dalam penelitian ini (N=297) merupakan dewasa muda yang sedang berpacaran jarak jauh minimal 6 bulan dan diambil dengan teknik non-probability sampling.
Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara anxious attachment dan avoidance attachment dengan kepuasan hubungan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi skor anxious dan avoidance attachment maka semakin rendah kepuasan hubungan.

Long distance relationship is a romantic relationship that many people involved with getting a better job and education as the most main reason. Always being perceived as a problematic relationship and relationship satisfaction can predict the success of the relationship.This research aiming to examine the relationship between attachment and relationships satisfaction in young adult who currently in long distance romantic relationship. Attachment measured by Experience in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R) and relationship satisfaction measured by Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). Respondent (N=297) is a young adult who having a long distance romantic relationship at least for 6 months and obtained through non-probability sampling technique.
Results point out a negative and significant correlation between anxious and avoidance attachment and relationship satisfaction with medium effect size for anxious and large effect size for avoidance. High score attachment indicates lower relationship satisfaction. Result from this research can be applied at problem solving in long distance dating relationship.

"Bagi pasangan yang berpacaran jarak jauh, memerlukan media komunikasi yang mampu memfasilitasi munculnya kedekatan dengan pasangan mereka dan membuat mereka mampu mempertahankan hubungan. Computer mediated Communication (CMC) merupakan salah satu bentuk kemajuan teknologi komunikasi, mengizinkan manusia untuk berkomunikasi walaupun ada jarak yang memisahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara penggunaan CMC (telepon, video call, Instant Messenger, Instagram, dan Facebook) terhadap relational maintenance pada individu dewasa muda yang menjalin hubungan LDR. Penelitian melibatkan 170 responden wanita dan pria yang menjalin hubungan LDR dengan usia hubungan minimal 6 bulan. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah frekuensi penggunaan CMC dan Relational Maintenance Strategy Measure (RMSM). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jenis CMC telepon, video call, Instant Messenger, dan Instagram memiliki hubungan terhadap relational maintenance, sedangkan Facebook tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap relational maintenance pada individu yang berpacaran jarak jauh. Video call memiliki hubungan yang paling kuat dengan relational maintenance.

ABSTRACT
For couples who are in long distance relationship, of course it requires communication media that are able to facilitate the emergence of closeness with their partners and make them able to maintain their relationships. Computer mediated Communication (CMC) is a form of communication technology advancement, allowing people to communicate even though there is a distance. This study aims to look at the relationship between the use of CMC (telephone, video call, Instant Messenger, Instagram, and Facebook) on relational maintenance in young adults who are in Long Distance Dating Relationship (LDDR). The study involved 170 female and male respondents who had the relationship with a minimum of 6 months long. The measuring instrument used in this study is the frequency use of each CMC and Relational Maintenance Strategy Measure (RMSM). The results show that CMC telephone, video calls, Instant Messenger, and Instagram have a relationship to maintain relationships, while Facebook has no relationship to maintain relationships in individuals who are in LDDR. CMC video calls have the strongest relationship to maintaining relationships.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku mimicking terhadap lawan jenis yang menarik secara fisik pada orang yang menjalani hubungan romantis jarak jauh dan jarak dekat. Pada penelitian ini, daya tarik fisik lawan jenis didapatkan melalui pilot study hingga didapatkan satu orang konfederat laki-laki dan perempuan yang menarik. Untuk melihat perilaku mimicking,

peneliti menggunakan frekuensi partisipan menirukan konfederat menyentuh wajah. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/i UI berusia 18-21 tahun, heteroseksual, sedang menjalani hubungan romantis, dan berasal dari luar. Fakultas Psikologi, dengan jumlah partisipan 59 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan perilaku mimicking yang signifikan pada orang yang menjalani hubungan romantis jarak jauh dan dekat. Adanya jarak geografis yang terbentang tidak terbukti cukup kuat untuk memengaruhi tingkat perilaku mimicking orang yang menjalani hubungan romantis jarak jauh terhadap lawan jenis yang menarik.


This study examined the difference of mimicking behavior to attractive opposite-sex on long distance relationship status and geographically close relationship status. In this study, the attractiveness of opposite-sex was measured by a pilot study to get one attractive male confederate and one attractive female confederate. To examine the mimicking behavior, the researcher used the frequencies of each participants touched his/her face after the confederate rubbed his/her face. The participants of this study were students of Universitas Indonesia, within the age range of 18-21, currently in a romantic relationship, excluded the students from Faculty of Psychology. Total of participants were 59 people. The result of this study shows that there is not significant difference of mimicking behavior on long distance relationship and geographically close relationship. The geographical distance on long-distance relationship status was not significantly proven to influence mimicking behavior to attractive opposite-sex.

"Kepuasan hubungan pacaran jarak jauh merupakan hal yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk diantaranya adalah attachment dan dyadic coping. Individu dengan anxiety attachment relatif sulit mencapai hubungan yang memuaskan, terlebih dalam kondisi terpisah oleh jarak. Penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat apakah common dan negative dyadic coping memiliki peran moderasi di dalam hubungan antara anxiety attachment dengan kepuasan berpacaran. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan Experience in Close Relationship-Revised untuk mengukur anxiety attachment, Dyadic Coping Inventory  untuk mengukur common dyadic coping dan negative dyadic coping, serta Relationship Assessment Scale untuk mengukur kepuasan hubungan pada individu yang menjalani pacaran jarak jauh. Penelitian pada 270 dewasa muda menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan negatif antara anxiety attachment dan kepuasan pacaran jarak jauh (r= -0.51, p<.01). Akan tetapi, tidak ditemukan adanya efek moderasi dari common dan negative dyadic coping di dalam hubungan tersebut (p>0.05). Perkembangan attachment, konteks hubungan pacarana serta keterpisahan jarak dinilai merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut.

Satisfaction in long distance relationships is influenced by various factors, including attachments and dyadic coping. Individuals with anxiety attachment are relatively difficult to achieve a satisfying relationship, especially in the condition when their partner is separated by distance with them. The study was conducted to see whether common dyadic coping and negative dyadic coping have a moderating role in the relationship between anxiety attachment and relationship satisfaction. Data is obtained using the Experience in Close Relationship-Revision (ECR-R) to measure anxiety attachment, Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI) to measure common and negative dyadic coping, and Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) to measure relationship satisfaction. Research conducted on 270 young adults found that there is a significant negative relationship between anxiety attachment and relationship satisfaction (r = -0.511, p <0.01). However, no moderating effects of common dyadic coping and negative dyadic coping are found in this research(p> 0.05). The duration of attachments, the status of the relationships, and separation with partner are considered to be factors that influence the result."

"Eustress dapat memberikan dampak yang positif bagi pelajar SMA ketika pembelajaran jarak jauh. Karakteristik merupakan ciri-ciri, sifat-sifat, maupun semua keterangan pada elemen ataupun hal apa saja yang dimiliki elemen, elemen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis kelamin dan jurusan peminatan. Untuk jurusan peminatan terbagi menjadi dua yaitu IPA dan IPS. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik pelajar SMA dengan eustress ketika pembelajaran jarak jauh. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan melibatkan 328 pelajar di SMAN 39 Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) dan Academic Eustress Scale (AES). Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji T independen, menyatakan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik pelajar SMA yaitu jenis kelamin dengan eustress (p= .00, α= .005). Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan bagi perawat kesehatan jiwa dalam menjalankan perannya sebagi edukator.

Eustress can have a positive impact on high school students when studying remotely. Characteristics are characteristics, traits, as well as all information on elements or things that are owned by elements, the elements used in this study are gender and majors of specialization. The majors of specialization are divided into two, that’s it IPA and IPS. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the characteristics of high school students and the causes of distance learning. The research design used correlational descriptive with a cross-sectional approach and involved 328 students at SMAN 39 Jakarta. The instruments used are the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) and the Academic Eustress Scale (AES). The results of this study using an independent T test, stating that there is a significant relationship between the characteristics of high school students, namely gender and eustress (p = .00, = .005). The results of this study can be used as input for mental health nurses in using as educators."

"Perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) menyebabkan efektivitas guru menurun. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas guru adalah perilaku kerja inovatif guru. Akan tetapi, penelitian terdahulu masih menunjukkan adanya inkonsistensi antara hubungan keduanya. Adaptabilitas dipilih sebagai variabel mediator. Perilaku kerja inovatif dapat memengaruhi adaptabilitas dan adaptabilitas dapat memengaruhi efektivitas guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran adaptabilitas sebagai mediator antara hubungan perilaku kerja inovatif dan efektivitas guru. Efektivitas guru diukur menggunakan Teacher Effectiveness Scale (TSE), perilaku kerja inovatif diukur menggunakan Skala Perilaku Kerja Inovatif, dan adaptabiltias diukur menggunakan The Adaptability Scale. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner daring dan cetak kepada guru SMA di wilayah Jabodetabek yang sedang menjalani Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan model regresi mediasi menggunakan program makro PROCESS oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptabilitas memediasi hubungan antara perilaku kerja inovatif dan efektivitas guru. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru untuk meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatifnya agar dapat meningkatkan adaptabilitas yang diikuti dengan peningkatan efektivitas guru.

The change in the learning system to distance learning causes teachers to lack effectiveness. One of the factors that predicted teacher effectiveness is innovative work behavior. However, the previous studies found an inconsistency between the relationship of innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness. Adaptability was selected as the mediator variable. Innovative work behavior could predict adaptability and adaptability could predict teacher effectiveness. This study examines the role of adaptability as a mediator in the relationship between innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness among senior high school teachers in the distance learning context. Teacher effectiveness was measured by Teacher Effectiveness Scale (TES), innovative work behavior was measured by Skala Perilaku Kerja Inovatif, and adaptability was measured by The Adaptability Scale. The respondents of this study are senior high school teachers in Jabodetabek area who were undergoing distance learning which acquired through an online and paper-based questionnaire. A regression mediation analysis model was conducted to test the study’s hypothesis using macro program PROCESS by Hayes. The result of the analysis shows that adaptability mediating the relationship between innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness. Therefore, innovative work behavior is important to be possessed by teachers in order to improving teacher’s adaptability and eventually followed by the improvement of teacher effectiveness.

"Agentic engagement atau keterlibatan agentik berperan penting dalam proses belajar dan pencapaian prestasi pemelajar. Untuk terlibat dalam proses belajar secara aktif, salah satu faktor yang dapat menjadi kendala pemelajar adalah merasa malu atau tidak percaya diri untuk berbicara di depan orang banyak. Dalam hal ini kepribadian diasumsikan berhubungan dengan keterlibatan pemelajar di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepribadian dan agentic engagement. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dari universitas yang berlokasi di Jabodetabek. Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) digunakan untuk mengukur variabel agentic engagement. Kepribadian akan diukur menggunakan instrumen Mini IPIP-BFM-25. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson pada 294 partisipan, ditemukan korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara dimensi extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, dan openness to experience terhadap agentic engagement. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkaya khazanah dalam ilmu Psikologi Pendidikan dan menambah wawasan bagi pemelajar maupun pengajar tentang agentic engagement dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran.

Agentic engagement plays an important role in the learning process and achievement of learners' achievements. To be actively involved in the learning process, one of the factors that can be an obstacle for learners is to feel embarrassed or not confident to speak in front of a crowd. In this case the personality is assumed to be related to the involvement of the learner in the classroom. This study aims to see the relationship between personality and agentic engagement. The participants of this study are active students from universities located in Jabodetabek. The Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) is used to measure agentic engagement variables. Personality will be measured using the Mini IPIP-BFM-25 instrument. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test in 294 participants, a positive and significant correlation was found between the dimensions of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience to agentic engagement. The implications of the results of this study can enrich the treasures in educational psychology and add insight for learners and teachers about agentic engagement in optimizing the learning process."
