"ABSTRACT
Berubahnya dinamika pasar tenaga kerja yang menjadi semakin ketat dan adanya kemauan individu untuk mengatur kariernya membuat individu harus mengetahui hal apa yang harus dilakukan agar dapat bersaing dalam pasar tenaga kerja saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kompetensi karier dengan external perceived employability pada situasi tenaga kerja yang semakin ketat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan alat ukur CCQ-21 dan dimensi external perceived employability. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada responden dengan usia 16-30 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa enam sub dimensi kompetensi karier berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan external perceived employability. Implikasi lebih lanjut dari hasil tersebut akan di bahas pada penelitian ini.

ABSTRACT
The changing dynamic of labor market to be more competitive and the willingness of individual to manage their career, made it imperative for individuals to know the things they needed to do to compete in current labor market. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship of career competencies and external perceived employability in increasingly thight labor market situation. This research is a quantitative research using CCQ 21 and external perceived employability questionnaire as measurements. The study is conduted on 64 respondents with the age of 16 30 years. The results of this study show that six sub dimensions of career competencies are correlated positively and significantly with external perceived employability. Implications of this results are discussed further in this study. "

"ABSTRAK
Dewasa ini paradigma mengenai karier telah jauh berkembang, hal ini timbul karena banyak orang mulai melihat pekerjaan mereka sebagai sebuah panggilan hati. Fenomena ini juga dialami oleh mahasiswa perguruan tinggi yang sedang berusaha untuk membangun karier mereka setelah lulus kuliah nanti. Sebagai tambahan, panggilan dalam hal karier profesional ini memiliki hubungan dengan proses regulasi diri yang kemudian mempengaruhi perceived employability serta kepuasaan hidup seseorang yang menandakan kesiapan orang tersebut dalam menghadapi pasar tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari panggilan terhadap karier career calling terhadap perceived employability dan kepuasaan hidup life satisfaction dengan proses regulasi diri self-regulatory processes sebagai mediator dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling SEM . Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh pengumpulan kuesioner yang didapat dari 492 mahasiswa/i Universitas Indonesia yang berasal dari berbagai fakultas. Penelitian ini kemudian menemukan bahwa career calling memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap self-regulatory processes, dimana self-regulatory processes memiliki pengaruh positif baik terhadap perceived employability dan life satisfaction, dengan adanya pengaruh langsung antara career calling terhadap perceived employability dan life satisfaction sehingga kemudian adanya hubungan mediasi oleh self-regulatory processes.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, it can be observed that a significant upward shift of paradigm towards career has been taking place. This is attributable to the recent changing values in the society by which individuals are starting to perceive their career as a means to fulfill their calling. Correspondingly, this phenomenon is also experienced by the university students who seek to build their careers upon graduation. Individuals rsquo calling in their professional careers is correlated with their self regulatory processes pertinent to perceived employability as well as life satisfaction, which signify the individual rsquo s capability to take on the demands presented in the job market. This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of career calling towards perceived employability and life satisfaction with the influence of self regulatory processes as a mediator through the Structural Equating Modelling SEM method. The data relevant to this study was gathered by distributing questionnaires of which 492 students from various faculties of Universitas Indonesia were participants. This study subsequently revealed that career calling does indeed have a positive influence on the self regulatory processes. Self regulatory processes positively impact the perceived employability and life satisfaction, as career calling is directly correlated with perceived employability and life satisfaction through the mediation of self regulatory processes."

"Berkembangnya teknologi menyebabkan banyak perubahan, terutama di masa pandemi saat ini dimana berdampak pada dunia industri. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan tenaga kerja yang memiliki adaptabilitas karier yang baik. Individu yang memiliki adaptabilitas karier diprediksi memiliki kualitas pekerjaan yang baik sehingga dapat menghadapi berbagai tantangan karier. Employability skills dan self-esteem dianggap penting dalam memengaruhi adaptabilitas karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self-esteem sebagai moderator pengaruh employability skills terhadap adaptabilitas karier. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 703 siswa SMK (usia 14-23 tahun). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (= 0,936), Student Employability skills Questionnaire (= 0,939), dan Rosenberg’s Self Esteem Scale (= 0,736) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem tidak memoderasi pengaruh employabilty skill terhadap adaptabilitas karier. Dengan kata lain, harga diri tidak memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh keterampilan dasar kerja individu terhadap adaptabilitas karier

The evolution of technology give rise to a lot of change, moreover in this time of pandemic which influenced the industry. Therefore manpower who has an outstanding career adaptability is needed. Individual who has an outstanding career adaptability predicted to have an outstanding work as well, hence could accomplished various career challenges. Employability skills and self-esteem considered important in influencing career adabtability. This study aims to study the effect of employability skills on career adaptability with the moderating role of self-esteem. The study was conducted on 703 vocational students (range of age 14-23 years old). Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (= 0,936), Student Employability skills Questionnaire (= 0,939), and Rosenberg’s Self Esteem Scale (= 0,736), which already translated into Bahasa used to measured this study. The result shown that self-esteem was not moderating the effect of employability skills on career adaptability. In another words, self-esteem was not strengthen or weaken the effect of basic individual work skills on career adaptability"

"Persaingan dalam dunia kerja semakin ketat seiring berjalannya waktu yang memicu timbulnya rasa khawatir dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri untuk memasuki dunia kerja bagi kalangan muda yang belum memiliki pengalaman, salah satunya adalah mahasiswa. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan magang, mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan self-perceived employability, sehinngga akan mengurangi career-entry worries. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh internship quality terhadap self-perceived employability melalui mediasi career-entry worries pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir di Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix methode dengan online survei kepada 209 responden dan wawancara mendalam kepada 3 narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internship quality memiliki pengaruh terhadap self-perceived employability, terdapat pengaruh antara internship quality dan career-entry worries, dan self-perceived employability juga berpengaruh terhadap career-entry worries, serta career-entry worries memediasi pengaruh antara internship quality dan self-perceived employability pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar Universitas Indonesia bisa menerapkan program wajib magang bagi mahasiswanya secara merata.

Competition in the world of work is getting tougher over time which triggers a sense of worry and lack of confidence to enter the world of work for young people who do not have experience, one of them is students. By participating in internship, students can increase their self-perceived employability, thereby reducing their career-entry worries. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of internship quality on self-perceived employability through the mediation of career-entry worries for final year students at Universitas Indonesia. This study use mix method approach with online surveys to 209 respondents and in-depth interviews with 3 sources person. The results show that internship quality has an influence on self-perceived employability, there is an influence between internship quality and career-entry worries, self-perceived employability also affects career-entry worries, and career-entry worries mediate the effect between internship quality and self-perceived employability of final year students at Universitas Indonesia. This study recommends that Universitas Indonesia can implement a compulsory internship program for its students equally."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perspektif waktu dengan employability pada karyawan. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 210 karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Swasta. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa self report. Pengukuran perspektif waktu dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventori ZTPI dan pengukuran employability dilakukan dengan menggunakan Self-Perceived Employability Scale.
Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif perspektif waktu masa depan dengan dengan employability. Berbeda dengan hipotesis peneliti lainnya, terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara perspektif waktu masa lalu positif, masa lalu negatif, masa kini hedonistik, masa kini fatalistik dengan employability. Kata kunci:Perspektif waktu, ZTPI, employability, SPES.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the time perspective with employability in employees. Respondents in this study are 210 employees working for private sector companies. The research data was collected by using self report questionnaire. Time perspective measurements was measured by using Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory ZTPI measurements and employability measurements was measured by using the Self Perceived Employability Scale.
Statistical analysis showed that there is a positive correlation between future time perspective and employability. In contrast to the hypothesis result, there are also positive relationships between time perspective past positive, past negative, present time hedonistic, present time fatalistic and employability.

"Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kompetensi karier memiliki peran yang lebih kuat terhadap perceived external employability dibandingkan optimisme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode korelasional dan multiple regression. Variabel perceived external employability diukur menggunakan Perceived External Employability scale, optimisme dengan Life Orientation Test-Revised, dan kompetensi karier dengan Career Competencies Questionnaire. Partisipan yang berhasil direkrut dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 160 karyawan dengan rentang usia 18 – 29 tahun. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi karier (β = 0,52, p < 0,01) mampu menjadi prediktor yang lebih kuat dibandingkan optimisme (β = -0,03, p > 0,05) dalam memprediksi perceived external employability pada karyawan dewasa muda

"Job insecurity sering diasumsikan dapat menurunkan tingkat kepuasan kerja. Sekalipun demikian, beberapa studi
sebelumnya gagal menemukan hubungan yang pasti antara job insecurity dan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan
bahwa hubungan kedua variabel tersebut mungkin dimoderasi oleh variabel lain. Dua variabel penting yang berpotensi
menjelaskan hubungan job insecurity dan kepuasan kerja adalah employability – yang didefinisikan sebagai persepsi
karyawan terhadap kemampuannya untuk mencari pekerjaan baru atau tetap bekerja di pekerjaannya saat ini – dan
status kepegawaian (yaitu karyawan tetap vs. kontrak). Penelitian ini berhipotesis bahwa employability dapat
memoderasi hubungan job insecurity dan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan tetap maupun karyawan kontrak. Untuk
menguji hipotesa, dilakukan penelitian cross-sectional terhadap 172 karyawan – yang terdiri dari karyawan tetap dan
kontrak, di suatu perusahaan jasa logistik di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa employability dapat
memoderasi hubungan antara job insecurity dan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan tetap, tetapi tidak pada karyawan
kontrak. Naskah ini juga mendiskusikan wawasan dan pemahaman teoritis yang baru terkait hubungan job insecurity
dan kepuasan kerja.
Job insecurity is often thought to cause lower job satisfaction. However, research shows that the relationship between
these two variables is more complicated than previously assumed. Previous studies fail to provide conclusive results,
which indicate that the relationships between job insecurity and job satisfaction may be moderated by other variables.
Two variables that can explainthis relationship are employability, defined as employees’ perception of their abilities to
find a new job, and work status differences (i.e., permanent and contract employees). Therefore, this study hypothesizes
that employability will moderate the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction for, both, permanent and
contract employees. Adapting scales from previous research, this study conducted a cross-sectional survey of 172
employees, comprised of permanent and contract employees, of a logistic services company in Indonesia. Results reveal
that employability moderates the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction among permanent but not
contract employees. This paper also discusses the implication of these results for the advancement of organizational
behavior theory, especially for understanding the impact of job insecurity on job satisfaction."

"Pengangguran di Indonesia semakin meningkat di era globalisasi ini yang dimana dari pengangguran tersebut terdapat lulusan dari universitas. Padahal lulusan dari universitas diharapkan dapat membangun karir mereka sendiri dengan berbagai kompetensi yang telah ditanamkan di masa perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-perceived competency terhadap self-perceived employability dengan career adaptability pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam pengambilan sampel, teknik yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan snow-ball sampling. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 152 orang. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner online yaitu Google-Form dan analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square)  dengan pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics for Mac dan SmartPLS for Mac. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa self-perceived competency memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap self-perceived employability, self-perceived competency memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap career adaptability, self-perceived employability memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap career adaptability, serta career adaptability memiliki peran mediasi antara self-perceived competency dan self-perceived employability.

Unemployment in Indonesia is increasing in this era of globalization and from all unemployment, there are graduates from universities. Whereas graduates from universities are expected to be able to build their own careers with various competencies that have been built in the universities. This study aims to analyze the effect of self-perceived competency on self-perceived employability with career adaptability in final year students at the University of Indonesia. This study used explanatory research with a quantitative approach. In sampling, the technique used is non-probability sampling with a snowball sampling approach. The sample in this study was 152 people. The research method used an online questionnaire with Google-Form and data analysis using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square) with data processing using IBM SPSS Statistics for Mac and SmartPLS for Mac software. The results showed that self-perceived competency had a significant effect on self-perceived employability, self-perceived competency had a significant effect on career adaptability, self-perceived employability had a significant effect on career adaptability, and career adaptability had a mediating role between self-perceived competency and self-perceived employability."

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sedang menghadapi tantangan dalam transisi dari pendidikan tinggi ke dunia kerja yang dapat memengaruhi optimisme karier mereka. Sebagai bagian dari Gen Z, partisipasi mereka dalam Extracurricular Activities (ECA) dan program magang, merupakan bagian dari pengalaman kerja sekaligus membantu mereka mengembangkan orientasi dan harapan karier yang berfokus pada nilai-nilai pribadi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi adaptabilitas karier dalam hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 144 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang mengikuti ECA dan program magang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adaptabilitas karier memediasi penuh hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Semakin tinggi orientasi karier yang dimiliki mahasiswa, semakin tinggi adaptabilitas dan berimbas pula pada optimisme karier mereka. Penelitian ini memiliki saran agar universitas dan penyelenggara ECA serta magang lebih mendorong partisipasi mahasiswa.

Final-year students are facing challenges in transitioning from higher education to the workforce, which can affect their career optimism. As part of Gen Z, participation in work experiences such as Extracurricular Activities (ECA) and internship programs can help them develop career orientations and expectations focused on personal values. This study aims to examine the mediating role of career adaptability in the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The participants of this study consist of 144 final-year students who are engaged in ECA and internship programs. The analysis shows that career adaptability fully mediates the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The higher the career orientation of the students, the higher their career adaptability and optimism. The study faced challenges in achieving the reliability standards for the career optimism measurement tool. It is recommended that universities and ECA and internship program organizers further encourage student participation."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran mengenai hubungan antara work values dan adaptabilitas karier pada siswa kelas 9. Hal tersebut karena siswa kelas 9 diharapkan sudah mengetahui dan mulai merencanakan kariernya di masa depan. Pengukuran work values dilakukan dengan alat ukur The Work Values Scale Ye, 2015. Sementara, adaptabilitas karier diukur menggunakan alat ukur Career Adapt-Abilites Scale CAAS Savickas Porfeli, 2012. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 569 dari siswa kelas 9 SMP.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara work values dan adaptabilitas karier pada siswa kelas 9 R2 = 0.21, p < 0.01, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin berkembangnya work values pada siswa maka semakin baik kemampuan adaptabilitas karier pada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penting bagi siswa kelas 9 untuk memiliki adaptabilitas karier yang baik dalam memilih jurusan di SMA, dan bagaimana work values dapat memberikan kontribusi pada adaptabilitas karier siswa kelas 9.

This research aimed to find the relationship between work values and career adaptability among 9th grade students. The reason this research needs to be done is because 9th grade students are expected to be ready for their career in the future. Work values was measured using The Work Values Scale Ye, 2015 . Career adaptability was measured using Career Adapt Abilities Scales CAAS Savickas Porfeli, 2012. The participants of this research are 569 9th grade students.
The result of this research show that work values have a significant relationship with 9th grades student rsquo s career adaptability R2 0.21, p 0.01. The result shows that the more developed the work values of the individual means the better the career adaptability of the students. Based on the results, it is important for 9th grade students to have a good career adaptability in order to prepares and choose majors in the next level of education, and work values can contribute towards the career adaptability of 9th grade students.
