"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran perfeksionisme orientasi diri dalam memediasi pengaruh gaya pengasuhan ayah dan ibu terhadap CDSE siswa kelas XI SMA. Sebanyak 178 partisipan terkumpul melalui teknik convenience sampling dalam pengisian tiga macam skala, yaitu Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form, Parental Authority Questionnaire, dan Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale yang sudah dilakukan adaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan macro PROCESS dari Hayes. Secara umum, hasil uji menemukan bahwa gaya pengasuhan permisif dari ayah dan gaya pengasuhan otoriter dari ibu berpengaruh terhadap tingkat CDSE siswa melalui perfeksionisme orientasi diri. Sementara itu, pengaruh dari gaya pengasuhan otoritatif ayah terhadap tingkat CDSE siswa hanya terjadi secara langsung. Adapun pengaruh dari gaya pengasuhan otoritatif ibu terhadap tingkat CDSE siswa dapat terjadi baik secara langsung atau tidak langsung melalui mediasi perfeksionisme orientasi diri. Implikasi, limitasi, serta saran dari penelitian ini berikutnya telah didiskusikan.

ABSTRACT
This present study aimed to analyze the role of self-oriented perfectionism in mediating the effect of fathers and mothers parenting styles on CDSE among students in Grade XI Senior High School. Total participants of the study comprised 179 students under convenience sampling method. This study involved three instruments, namely, Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form, Parental Authority Questionnaire, and Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale. Data was analyzed by using Macro PROCESS from Hayes. Generally, the results show that permissive parenting from fathers and authoritarian parenting from mothers influence the degree of CDSE among students through self-oriented perfectionism. Moreover, the effect of authoritative parenting from fathers predicts CDSE directly without the mediation effect of self-oriented perfectionism, whilst authoritative parenting from mothers influences CDSE both directly and indirectly. Implications, limitations, and recommendations are discussed.

Penelitian ini menguji peran kepribadian proaktif sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua (parental support dan parental action) dan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 758 peserta didik SMA di Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier diukur dengan Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), keterlibatan orang tua diukur oleh Parent Career Behavior Checklist (PCBC), dan kepribadian proaktif diukur dengan Proactive Personality Scale (PPS). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis mediasi melalui PROCESS oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif berperan secara parsial memediasi pengaruh parental support dan parental action terhadap efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier. Keterbatasan pada penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya perbaikan pada beberapa aitem alat ukur CDSE-SF. Penelitian ini memberikan impilikasi, untuk konselor sekolah maupun orang tua yang memiliki anak pada tahapan eksplorasi, bahwa penting orang tua dalam terlibat dalam mendorong anak untuk menjadi lebih proaktif sehingga peserta didik dapat lebih yakin dengan pilihan kariernya.


This study examines the role of proactive personality as a mediator in the relationship between parental involvement (parental support and parental action) and career decision self-efficacy among high school student. The study was conducted on 758 high school students in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Career decision self-efficacy is measured by the Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), parental involvement is measured by the Parent Career Behavior Checklist (PCBC), and proactive personality is measured by Proactive Personality Scale (PPS). The mediation analysis technique was used PROCESS by Hayes. The results show that the proactive personality mediating partially the relationship between parental support and parental action with career decision self-efficacy among high school student. A limitation in this study need to improve several items on the CDSE-SF. Implications for school counselors and parents who have children at the exploration stage, it is important for parents to be involved in encouraging children to be more proactive. So, students can be more confident with their career choices.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parenting self-efficacy dan konflik peran pada ibu bekerja dari toddler. Pengukuran parenting self-efficacy dilakukan dengan alat ukur Self-Efficacy Parenting for Tasks Index - Toddler Scale (SEPTI-TS) yang dikembangkan oleh Coleman (1998), sedangkan konflik peran diukur melalui Wave V Role Conflict Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Markle (1998). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 142 ibu bekerja dari toddler yang bekerja minimal selama 40 jam per minggunya.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara parenting self-efficacy dan konflik peran (r= -0.390, n=142, p< 0.01, two tail). Artinya, semakin tinggi parenting self-efficacy ibu, semakin rendah konflik peran yang dialami, begitupun sebaliknya.

This study examined the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and role conflict among working mothers of toddler. Parenting self-efficacy was measured by Self-Efficacy Parenting for Tasks Index - Toddler Scale (SEPTI-TS) developed by Coleman (1998), whereas role conflict was measured by Wave V Role Conflict Scale developed by Markle (1998). The participants of this study were 142 working mothers of toddler who work at leat 40 hours per week.
The result of this study shows that there is a significant, negative relationship, between parenting self-efficacy and role conflict (r= -0.390, n=142, p< 0.01, two tail). It indicates that the higher mothers’ parenting self-efficacy, the lower their role conflict, and vice versa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap efikasi-diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier melalui mediasi kepribadian proaktif pada siswa SMA. Sebanyak 949 data responden terkumpul dengan menggunakan tiga macam skala, Career Decision Self-Efficacy-Short Form, Parental Authority Questionnaire, dan Proactive Personality Scale, yang sudah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan macro PROCESS dari Hayes. Secara keseluruhan, hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoritatif dari ayah dapat berpengaruh terhadap efikasi-diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepribadian proaktif; pola asuh otoritarian ayah dan ibu, serta pola asuh permisif ibu berpengaruh terhadap efikasi-diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier hanya melalui mediasi kepribadian proaktif; sedangkan pola asuh permisif ayah tidak dapat berpengaruh terhadap efikasi-diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi kepribadian proaktif. Implikasi, limitasi, dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya didiskusikan.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to examine the influence of parenting styles on career decision self efficacy through the mediation of proactive personality in senior high school students. A total of 949 data respondent were collected by using three scales Career Decision Self Efficacy Scale Short Form, Parental Authority Questionnaire, and Proactive Personality Scale, that have been adapted to Indonesian. The data were analyzed using macro PROCESS from Hayes. Overall, test results showed that authoritative parenting styles from father affects career decision self efficacy directly and indirectly through the proactive personality mothers rsquo authoritative parenting style affects the career decision self efficacy directly authoritarian parenting styles from both father and mother, as well as mothers rsquo permissive parenting style only affect the career decision self efficacy through the proactive personality while fathers rsquo permissive parenting style did not affect the career decision self efficacy directly or indirectly through the proactive personality. Implications, limitations, and suggestions for future study are discussed."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parenting self-efficacy dan work-family conflict pada ibu dari toddler yang bekerja sebagai perawat. Pengukuran parenting self-efficacy menggunakan alat ukur Self-Efficacy Parenting for Tasks Index ? Toddler Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Coleman (1998), sedangkan work-family conflict diukur melalui Work Family Conflict Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Carlson, dkk (2000). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 ibu dari anak yang berada pada tahap toddler dan bekerja sebagai perawat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara parenting self-efficacy dan work-family conflict (r=-0.512, n=51, p< 0.01, two-tail). Hal tersebut berarti bahwa semakin tinggi parenting selfefficacy pada ibu dari toddler, maka semakin rendah work-family conflict yang dialami ibu; begitu pula sebaliknya.

This study examined the correlation between parenting self-efficacy and workfamily conflict among mothers of toddler who work as nurses. Parenting selfefficacy was measured by Self-Efficacy Parenting for Tasks Index ? Toddler Scale developed by Coleman (1998), whereas work-family conflict was measured by Work Family Conflict Scale developed by Carlson et al (2000). The participants of this study was 51 mothers of toddler and work as nurses.
The result of this study showed that there is a significant, negative correlation, between parenting self-efficacy and wprk-family conflict (r=-0.512, n=51, p< 0.01, twotail). That is, the higher mother?s parenting self-efficacy, lower work-family conflict; and vice versa.

"Pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh orangtua terhadap anak memiliki hubungan dengan pengalaman keterlibatan orangtua di masa lalu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh antara ketiga dimensi persepsi keterlibatan orangtua (ayah dan ibu) yaitu instrumental, ekspresif, dan mentoring/advising terhadap parenting self-efficacy pada orangtua dengan anak usia kanak-kanak madya. Persepsi keterlibatan orangtua merupakan sejauh mana orangtua menunjukkan perilaku yang menandakan bahwa mereka ikut berpartisipasi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan anak. Parenting self-efficacy merupakan persepsi dalam memandang kemampuannya yang dapat memengaruhi perilaku dan perkembangan anak secara positif. Pada penelitian ini, pengukuran persepsi keterlibatan orangtua menggunakan alat ukur Reported Father Involvement Scales (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) dan Reported Mother Involvement Scales (Finley, Mira, & Schwartz, 2008), sedangkan pengukuran parenting self-efficacy menggunakan alat ukur Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) (Coleman & Karraker, 2000). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 302 orangtua dengan anak usia kanak-kanak madya dan berada di rentang usia 25-45 tahun yang diperoleh dengan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara ketiga dimensi persepsi keterlibatan ayah yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap parenting self-efficacy F(3,298)= 3,959, p<0,01. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara ketiga dimensi persepsi keterlibatan ibu yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap parenting self-efficacy F(3,298)= 2,858, p<0,05. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan orangtua meningkatkan keterlibatannya dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan anak dan memberikan pengasuhan yang positif bagi anak-anak mereka.

Parenting correlates with how ones parent involve in childhood experience. This research was conducted to determine the influence of the three dimensions of perceived parental involvement (father and mother) that is instrumental, expressive, and mentoring/advising on parenting self-efficacy among parents with middle childhood children. Perceived parental involvement refers to the extent to which parents participate in various aspects of their children?s lives. Parenting self-efficacy is parents perceptions of their ability to positively influence the behavior and development of their children. Perceived parental involvement was measured by Reported Father Involvement Scales (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) and Reported Mother Involvement Scales (Finley, Mira, & Schwartz, 2008), parenting self-efficacy was measured by Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) (Coleman & Karraker, 2000). Participants in this study were 302 parents aged 25-45 years with middle childhood children are obtained through convenience sampling technique. This research used quantitive method. The results showed that there was a significant influence of three dimensions of perceived father involvement on parenting self-efficacy F(3,298)= 3,959, p<0,01, also there was a significant influences of three dimensions of perceived mother involvement on parenting self-efficacy F(3,298)= 2,858, p<0,05. The implication of this research is parent are expected to increase their involvement in various aspects of their children's lives and provide positive parenting to their children."

"Coleman & Karraker (2000) menyebutkan elemen kognitif utama yang potensial dari kompetensi pengasuhan salah satunya adalah parenting self-efficacy. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi parenting self-efficacy tersebut adalah dukungan sociomarital. Belsky's juga menyatakan bahwa hubungan pernikahan adalah dukungan social utama dalam mekanisme kompetensi parenting (dalam Bogenschneider, Small, Tsay, 1997). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mengenai perbedaan parenting self-efficacy pada ibu tunggal bekerja dan ibu menikah bekerja penuh waktu dengan anak usia kanak-kanak madya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan alat ukur "Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index" (Coleman & Karraker, 2000). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan parenting self-efficacy antara ibu tunggal dan ibu menikah bekerja dengan anak usia kanak-kanak madya dengan nilai (t = 2.019, p = 0.048, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.05).

Coleman & Karraker (2000) states that one of the potential main cognitive element of parenting competence is parenting self-efficacy. Sociomarital support is one of the factors that affects parenting self-efficacy. Belsky's also explains that marital relation is the focal social support in parenting competence mechanism (in Bogenschneider, Small, Tsay, 1997). The research aims to know the difference between single working mother and married working mother who both working full time and having middle-aged children. The research is conducted using the "Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index" measuring instrument (Coleman & Karraker, 2000). The result concludes there is significant difference in parenting self-efficacy between single working mother and married working mother who both have middle-aged children with score (t = 2.019, p = 0.048, significant in L.o.S 0.05)."

"ABSTRAK
Budaya Aceh dan ajaran Islam menekankan pentingnya peran ayah dalam kehidupan anaknya. Selain itu, Aceh juga provinsi dimana ajaran agama menjadi dasar hukum dan terintegrasi dalam kehidupan masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi sanctification of parenting, yaitu sejauh mana ayah mempersepsi pengasuhannya kepada anak sebagai sesuatu yang memiliki divine character dan significance, terhadap keterlibatan ayah pada domain perilaku dan kualitas afeksi yang dipersepsi oleh anak. Keterlibatan ayah pada domain perilaku diukur menggunakan Reported Father Involvement Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) dan kualitas afeksi diukur menggunakan Nurturance Fathering Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004). Sanctification of parenting diukur menggunakan alat ukur Sanctification of Parenting (Mahoney, Pargament, A. Murray-Swank, & N. Murray-Swank, 2003). Hasil analisis statistik regresi linear pada data dari 133 pasang ayah dan anak di Aceh menunjukkan bahwa sanctification of parenting berkontribusi signifikan pada keterlibatan ayah pada domain perilaku dan kualitas afeksi yang dipersepsi oleh anak. Analisis data demografi menunjukkan perbedaan rata-rata keterlibatan ayah pada jenis kelamin anak dan perbedaan kualitas afeksi pada tipe sekolah anak dan tingkat pendapatan total keluarga. Tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata pada sanctification of parenting antara urutan lahir anak, jenis kelamin anak, dan pendidikan pesantren ayah. Diskusi hasil penelitian, limitasi, serta saran penelitian lanjutan dijelaskan di bagian akhir.

ABSTRAK
Both the culture of Aceh and Islamic teachings stresses the important role of father to the child. This study was intended to find the extent to which Sanctification of Parenting, perception of a father to his caregiving process as having divine character and significance, can predict Father Involvement, operationalized in behavior domains involvement and affective quality perceived by the child. The variables measured using Reported Father Involvement Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) and Nurturance Fathering Scale (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) measured in the child and Sanctification of Parenting (Mahoney, Pargament, A. Murray-Swank, & N. Murray-Swank, 2003) measured in the father. One hundred and thirty three pairs of father and adolescent in Aceh participated in the study. Based on linear regression analysis, Sanctification of Parenting contributes significantly to Father Involvement, both in behavior domains and affective quality perceived by the child. Analysis of demographic data shows differences in father involvement based on child gender, differences in affective quality based on school type and level of family income There is no mean differences between child birth order, child gender, and father pesantren education in sanctification of parenting score. Further discussion, limitation, and future research suggestion elaborated in the end."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah efikasi diri keputusan karier memediasi pengaruh gaya atribusi terhadap eksplorasi karier siswa kelas 12 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Sebanyak 862 responden siswa kelas 12 SMK terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Responden mengisi kuesioner CES untuk mengukur eksplorasi karier, AACDM untuk mengukur gaya atribusi, dan CDSES-SF untuk mengukur efikasi diri keputusan karier. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan PROCESS dari Hayes pada SPSS untuk melihat model mediasi yang diajukan.
Hasil analisis data mendukung model mediasi yang diajukan bahwa efikasi diri keputusan karier memediasi pengaruh gaya atribusi terhadap eksplorasi karier siswa kelas 12 SMK. Responden yang menerapkan gaya atribusi optimis memiliki efikasi diri keputusan karier yang tinggi sehingga sering melakukan eksplorasi karier.
Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan gaya atribusi dapat secara langsung memengaruhi eksplorasi karir siswa kelas 12 SMK. Hasil penelitian memberikan implikasi secara teoritis bagi penelitian selanjutnya dan secara praktis dalam konseling serta intervensi terhadap siswa kelas 12 SMK. Hasil penelitian secara detail dan keterbatasan penelitian dibahas lebih lanjut dalam laporan tesis.

The current research examined mediation effect of career decision self-efficacy on the effects of attributional style on career exploration behavior of 12 grade of vocational students. A total of 862 respondents of 12 grade of vocational students were involved in the research. Respondents filled out the CES questionnaire for career exploration, AACDM for attributional style, and CDSES-SF for career decision self-efficacy. Research data were analyzed using PROCESS from Hayes on SPSS to examined the mediation model.
The results supported the mediation model that career decision selfefficacy mediate the effects of attributional style on career exploration of 12 grade of vocational students. Respondents who applied optimistic attributional style have high career decision self-efficacy, in turn affect their engagement in career exploration.
The results also showed that attributional style can directly have an effect on career exploration of 12 grade of vocational students. The results have theoretical and practical implications for further research, counseling and intervention programme towards 12 grade of vocational students. Others research findings and limitations are further discussed in the research report.
