"Indonesia menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mempersiapkan Generasi Z, yang mencakup 28% dari populasi, untuk dunia kerja yang dinamis. Fenomena job-hopping, di mana lebih dari 65% lulusan mencari pekerjaan baru dalam dua tahun pertama, mencerminkan kurangnya kematangan dalam pengambilan keputusan karir. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara perspektif waktu masa depan dan dukungan sosial terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir mahasiswa Generasi Z dalam kerangka Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Perspektif Waktu Masa Depan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan (β = 0,386, p < 0,001) terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir, sementara Dukungan Sosial menunjukkan pengaruh positif yang lebih kuat dan signifikan (β = 0,548, p < 0,001). Model regresi yang dihasilkan signifikan secara statistik (F = 238,850, p < 0,001) dan mampu menjelaskan 61,7% variasi dalam pengambilan keputusan karir (R² = 0,617). Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya peran dominan dukungan sosial serta perlunya pendekatan bimbingan karir holistik yang mengintegrasikan faktor kognitif dan sosial untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir dan mengurangi fenomena job-hopping di kalangan generasi muda.

Indonesia faces significant challenges in preparing Generation Z, which accounts for 28% of the population, for a dynamic workforce. The phenomenon of job-hopping, where over 65% of graduates seek new jobs within their first two years, reflects a lack of maturity in career decision-making. This study examines the relationship between future time perspective and social support on career decision-making among Generation Z students within the framework of the Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT). The analysis shows that Future Time Perspective has a significant positive influence (β = 0.386, p < 0.001) on career decision-making, while Social Support demonstrates a stronger and more significant positive influence (β = 0.548, p < 0.001). The regression model is statistically significant (F = 238.850, p < 0.001) and explains 61.7% of the variation in career decision-making (R² = 0.617). These findings highlight the dominant role of social support and the need for holistic career guidance approaches that integrate cognitive and social factors to enhance career maturity and reduce job-hopping among the younger generation."

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir diharapkan telah memiliki keyakinan terhadap keputusan karier yang akan ditekuni karena sebentar lagi mereka akan memasuki dunia pekerjaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran vocational identity terhadap career decision self-efficacy CDSE mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 302 mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Indonesia yang tersebar di seluruh Fakultas. Vocational identity diukur menggunakan alat ukur vocational identity scale VIS yang merupakan sub-skala dari alat ukur My Vocational Situation MVS Holland, Daiger, Power, 1980 yang terdiri dari 18 item. Senior year undergraduate students should have confidence in career decisions because they soon to be graduated and starting the transition stage from student to professional life. The purpose of this research is to know the role of vocational identity to career decision self efficacy CDSE of senior year undergraduate students. The participants of this study consisted of 302 Universitas Indonesia senior year undergraduate students from all Faculty. Vocational identity is measured using a vocational identity scale VIS which is a sub scale of My Vocational Situation MVS Holland, Daiger, Power, 1980 and consisting of 18 items. Furthermore, the CDSE were measured using a 25 items Self Efficacy Scale Short Form Betz, Klein, Taylor, 1996 that adapted to Indonesia. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji tiga tipe career specific parenting behavior (support, interference, dan lack of engagement) sebagai moderator pengaruh job insecurity orang tua terhadap career decision self-efficacy mahasiswa. Mahasiswa tingkat akhir (18-22 tahun) dan ayahnya (N = 55) mengisi kuesioner yang berbeda. Mahasiswa mengisi kuesioner yang mengukur persepsi career specific parenting behavior dan career decision self-efficacy; ayah mengisi kuesioner job insecurity. Uji moderator dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis sequential multiple regression.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga tipe career specific parenting behavior tidak memoderasi pengaruh job insecurity orang tua terhadap career deicision self-efficacy. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tiga tipe career specific parenting behavior tidak memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh job insecurity orang tua terhadap career decision self-efficacy.

The objective of this study is to examine that three types of career specific parenting behavior (support, interference, and lack of engagement) moderate the effect of parental job insecurity on career decision self-efficacy. Students (18-22 years old) and their father (N = 55) filled in the different questionnaire. Perceived career specific parenting behavior was assessed on students; parental job insecurity was assessed on father. To measure moderation effect, this study was using sequential multiple regression.
The result showed that three types of career specific parenting behavior was not moderating the effect of parental job insecurity to career decision self-efficacy. Therefore this research showed that three types of career specific parenting behavior do not strengthen or weaken the effect of parental job insecurity on career decision self-efficacy.

"Saat ini, mayoritas kelompok populasi terbesar di Indonesia adalah Gen Z. Karakteristik Gen Z yang cenderung lebih mandiri dan digital savvy menimbulkan perbedaan pendapat berbagai penelitian mengenai peran orang tua dalam penentuan arah karier Gen Z. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara arahan orang tua dan pengambilan keputusan karier mahasiswa Gen Z. Penelitian ini memakai metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sebanyak 106 mahasiswa Gen Z menjadi partisipan. Alat ukur yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah CAAS (Career Adapt-Adaptability Scale) untuk mengukur pengambilan keputusan karier dan PCB (Parental Career-Related Behavior) untuk mengukur arahan orang tua. Ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara arahan orang tua dan pengambilan keputusan karier (r = 0.201, p < 0.05) dengan hubungan yang dinilai lemah. Artinya, semakin tinggi arahan orang tua yang didapatkan mahasiswa Gen Z, semakin matang pula pengambilan keputusan karier mereka. Namun, dapat diartikan juga bahwa terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang lebih berhubungan kuat dengan kematangan pengambilan keputusan karier mereka, seperti riset daring, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat mengukur juga faktor-faktor lain yang berhubungan, baik arahan orang tua maupun pengambilan keputusan karier.

Currently, the majority of Indonesia’s population consists of Generation Z. The characteristics of Gen Z, who tend to be more independent and digitally savvy, have led to differing views in various studies regarding the role of parents in shaping Gen Z’s career decision-making. The aim of this study is to examine whether there is a relationship between parental guidance and the career decision-making of Gen Z university students. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational design. A total of 106 Gen Z university students participated in this study. The measurement instruments used were the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) to assess career decision-making and the Parental Career-Related Behavior (PCB) scale to measure parental guidance. The results showed a significant positive correlation between parental guidance and career decision-making (r = 0.201, p < 0.05), indicating a weak relationship. This suggests that the higher the parental guidance received by Gen Z students, the more mature their career decision-making tends to be. However, this also implies that there are other factors that have a stronger association with their career decision-making maturity, such as online research, peer influence, and others. Future studies are expected to include these additional factors to further explore their relationship with both parental guidance and career decision-making."

"Kemampuan dalam pengambilan keputusan merupakan awal bagi remaja menentukan karir kedepannya. Menentukan keputusan karir dapat mengasah kompetensi yang berhubungan dengan karir yang ditekuni sehingga mencapai potensi dan berfungsi secara sosial. Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan proses pengambilan keputusan karir remaja di SOS Children’s Village Jakarta dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan wawancara mendalam, dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil penelitian: 1) tugas perkembangan remaja di SOS Children’s Village yaitu mengembangkan keterampilan mengambil keputusan dan 2) proses pengambilan keputusan karir pada remaja di SOS Children’s Village dilakukan melalui program CDP, IDP dan aftercare.

The ability to make decisions is the beginning for teenagers to determine their future careers. Determining career decisions can hone competencies related to the career they are engaged in so that they reach their potential and function socially. The purpose of the study was to describe the career decision-making process of adolescents at SOS Children’s Village Jakarta with a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions. The results of the study: 1) adolescent development tasks at SOS Children’s Village are developing decision-making skills and 2) the career decision-making process for youth at SOS Children's Village is carried out through CDP, IDP and aftercare programs."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran hubungan antara locus of control dengan career decision self-efficacy mahasiswa Univesitas Indonesia. Sampel yang diambil adalah mahasiswa semester empat dari seluruh fakultas. Partisipan berjumlah 146 mahasiswa. Pengukuran locus of control menggunakan alat ukur Internal-External Locus of Control Scale (I-E Scale) yang disusun oleh Rotter (1966) dan pengukuran career decision self-efficacy menggunakan alat ukur Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form (CDSE-SF) yang disusun oleh Betz dan Taylor (1984). Terdapat dua hasil penelitian, yang petama menunjukan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara locus of control internal dengan career decision self-efficacy pada mahasiswa semester empat Universitas Indonesia. Artinya, semakin tinggi kecenderungan locus of control internal yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka, semakin tinggi career decision self-efficacy mahasiswa tersebut. Yang kedua, terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara locus of control eksternal dengan career decision self-efficacy pada mahasiswa semester empat Universitas Indonesia. Artinya, semakin tinggi kecenderungan locus of control eksternal yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka, semakin rendah career decision self-efficacy mahasiswa tersebut. This study aimed to get an overview of the relationship between locus of control and career decision self-efficacy on undergraduate students of University of Indonesia. Samples are fourth semester undergraduate students of all faculties. The total of participan are 146 students. Locus of control measured using Internal-External Locus of Control Scale (IE Scale) developed by Rotter (1966) and career decision selfefficacy measured using Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form (CDSE-SF) developed by Betz and Taylor (1984). There are two results of the study. First, there is a significant positive relationship between internal locus of control and career decision self-efficacy on fourth semester undergraduate students of University of Indonesia. That is, the higher the tendency of students? internal locus of control, the higher the students? career decision self-efficacy. Second, there is a significant negative relationship between external locus of control and career decision selfefficacy on fourth semester undergraduate students of University of Indonesia. That is, the higher the tendency of students? external locus of control, the lower the students? career decision self-efficacy. Based on this finding, developing an internal locus of control on the students is necessary to improve students? career decision selfefficacy.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran masing-masing dimensi academic burnout terhadap career decision self-efficacy CDSE pada mahasiswa tahun pertama. CDSE adalah tingkat keyakinan seseorang bahwa dirinya dapat berhasil menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat keputusan karier Taylor Betz, 1983 . Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 388 mahasiswa tahun pertama dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Oleh karena itu, alat ukur Oldenburg Burnout Inventory-Student Reis, Xanthopoulou, Tsaousis, 2015 digunakan untuk mengukur academic burnout, sedangkan alat ukur Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale ndash; Short Form Betz, Klein, Taylor, 1996 digunakan untuk mengukur CDSE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua dimensi academic burnout, yaitu dimensi exhaustion ? = - 0,3 dan disengagement ? = - 0,651 berperan secara signifikan terhadap CDSE mahasiswa tahun pertama p < 0,05 . Hasil tersebut dapat memperkaya teori karier berdasarkan pandangan sosial kognitif yang mengaitkan CDSE dengan academic burnout. Untuk penelitian mendatang perlu dilihat pula mengenai kesesuaian jurusan yang dipilih dengan jurusan yang diinginkan, karena hal ini diduga dapat berperan pula dalam CDSE dan academic burnout mahasiswa.

The main goal of this research is to examine the role of each dimension of academic burnout on career decision self efficacy CDSE in the first year undergraduates. CDSE is the degree of belief that a person can successfully complete tasks necessary to making career decisions Taylor Betz, 1983 . This research recruited 388 first year undergraduates from various universities in Indonesia. This research is quantitative research. Therefore the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory Student Reis, Xanthopoulou, Tsaousis, 2015 was used to measure academic burnout, while Career Decision Self Efficacy Scale ndash Short Form Betz, Klein, Taylor, 1996 was used to measure CDSE. This research shows that the two academic burnout scales, exhaustion 0,3 and disengagement 0,651 have significant role on CDSE in first year undergraduates p 0,05 . This result can enrich social cognitive career theory. Furthermore, for further research it is important to analize whether the students rsquo college major decisions are identical with their major interests, because it is presumed that their compatibility has significant role in students rsquo CDSE and also in their academic burnout."

"Career decision self-efficacy CDSE merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam mempersiapkan diri memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran peer support dan identitas etnis terhadap career decision self-efficacy. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian yakni Career Decision Making Self Efficacy - Short Form CDSE- SF untuk mengukur CDSE; sementara pengukuran peer support menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support; dan pengukuran identitas etnis menggunakan Multiple Ethnic Identity. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan 202 mahasiswa perantau tingkat akhir di Universitas Indonesia dengan metode pengambilan data secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel peer support yang berperan terhadap tingkat CDSE R2= 0,075, p < 0,05 . Hasil penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat dalam menentukan kebijakan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan CDSE mahasiswa perantau UI.

Career decision self efficacy CDSE is important for final year undergraduates to make them ready to face the competition at work. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of peer support and ethnic identity on career decision self efficacy. The measurements that used in this study were Career Decision Making Self Efficacy Short Form to measure CDSE Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support to measure peer support and Multiple Ethnic Identity Measure Revised to measure ethnic identity. The participants in this study are 202 final year migrants undergraduates at Universitas Indonesia with online questionnaire method. Results of this study shows that peer support is the only variable that has a significant role towards CDSE R2 0,075, p 0,05 . The result of this study could help people to create policies and interventions related to migrants undergraduates at UI in order to increase their CDSE.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self esteem dengan sexual compulsivity pada kelompok gay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Untuk mengukur self esteem dan sexual compulsivity peneltiti menggunakan alat ukur RSES (Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale) dan KSCS (Kalichman Sexual Compulsivity Scale). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 145 orang pria dewasa dari rentang usia 20 sampai 40 tahun, dengan orientasi homoseksual. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self esteem dengan sexual compulsivity dengan nilai r= -0,241 ; p=0,01.

This research methodhology using a quantitative study with a correlational design. "Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga dengan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier pada siswa kelas 12 di Jabodetabek. Keberfungsian keluarga diukur menggunakan alat ukur Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale II FACES II dan Family Communication Scale FCS. Sedangkan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier diukur menggunakan alat ukur Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form CDSE-SF. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 333 siswa kelas 12.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara keberfungsian keluarga dengan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier pada siswa kelas 12 di Jabodetabek. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi keberfungsian keluarga yang dipersepsikan siswa maka semakin tinggi pula efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini juga memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat dua dimensi keberfungsian keluarga yang berperan secara signifikan terhadap efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier pada siswa kelas 12 yaitu dimensi fleksibilitas dan dimensi komunikasi.
Pada penelitian ini, kontribusi keberfungsian keluarga terhadap efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier hanya 7, kemungkinan besar terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang berkontribusi terhadap efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian selanjutnya perlu dipertimbangkan faktor eksternal lainnya seperti peran guru atau teman sebaya pada siswa kelas 12.

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between family functioning and career decisions self efficacy on 12th grade students in Jabodetabek. Family functioning is measured by Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale II FACES II and Family Communication Scale FCS. Meanwhile, career decisions self efficacy is measured by Career Decision Self Efficacy Short Form CDSE SF. The total of sample used in this study amounts to 333 students of 12th grade.
The result of this study indicates a significant positive relationship between between family functioning and career decisions self efficacy on 12th grade students in Jabodetabek. This result indicates that the higher the family functioning that is perceived by 12th grade students, the higher their career decision self efficacy become. This study also found the result that there are two dimensions of family functioning that contribute significantly to career decision self efficacy on 12th grade students which is flexibility and communication.
In this study, the contribution of family functioning to career decision self efficacy is only 7, most likely there are other factors that contribute to career decision self efficacy. Therefore, further research should consider other external factors such as the role of the teacher or peer group on 12th grade students.
