[ABSTRAK
Tesis ini memfokuskan diri pada bagaimana penegasan identitas diri komunitas lokal Sentani yang dieskpresikan di dalam ritual pembayaran harta kepala pada festival danau Sentani.

Para pelaku komunitas lokal Sentani menggunakan ritual dalam rangka menegosiasikan dan menyiasati penegasan kembali identitas diri mereka dan komunitasnya dalam menghadapi pelaku dan kelompok lain.

Ritual pembayaran harta kepala dalam festival danau Sentani mengalami beberapa perubahan dibandingkan ritual pembayaran harta kepala yang dilakukan di luar festival, karena para pelaku komunitas Sentani berhadapan dengan kekuatan dari luar diri mereka, seperti negara dan pasar global, sehingga mereka harus menegosiasikan, menyiasati dan menegaskan ekspresi identitas diri mereka sesuai dengan peluang yang ada.

Kepentingan pasar lebih berperan dominan atas kepentingan kelompok lokal Sentani. Pasar memiliki kemampuan mendikte atau menentukan unsur-unsur prosesi ritual yang harus melakukan penyesuaian dengan kepentingan pasar yang lebih luas.
ABSTRACT
This thesis is focused on the personal identity affirmation of local community Sentani, which expressed in the ritual of head rendering on Sentani lake festival. The doer of community local are using the ritual in order to negotiate and to deal with the reaffirmation of their personal identity and their community in facing the other doer and groups.

The head rendering ritual in Sentani lake festival has been changed a lot compared to the head rendering out of festival because the doer of the ceremony have to dealing with forces outside themselves, such as countries and global markets, so they have to negotiate, deal with and affirm the expression of their personal identity according to the existing opportunities.

The interest of the markets play more dominant role of the local community Sentani. Pengungkapan informasi pribadi atau self-disclosure adalah proses komunikasi yang berfungsi untuk mengungkapkan diri maupun informasi pribadi kepada orang lain. LinkedIn merupakan tempat untuk membangun presentasi diri yang diperoleh dari data profil yang dilengkapi pada LinkedIn. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor perceived benefits, privacy concern, trust in LinkedIn members dan provider, perceived control, privacy awareness, perceived likelihood, dan perceived severity terhadap perilaku self-disclosure pengguna LinkedIn. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka teori privacy calculus dan perluasan faktor kepercayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mendapatkan 661 responden yang disebarkan melalui kuesioner online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Covariance Based Structural Equation Modelling (CB-SEM) dengan bantuan software AMOS 24.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi pengguna untuk mengungkapkan informasi profesionalnya pada LinkedIn di Indonesia adalah perceived benefits yang terdiri dari self-presentation, career advancement, developing professional network, learning and exchange information, privacy concern, perceived likelihood, perceived severity, trust in LinkedIn member dan perceived control. ......Disclosing personal information or self-disclosure is a communication process that functions to reveal the self and personal information to others. LinkedIn is a place to build self-presentation obtained from profile data on LinkedIn. This study aims to analyze the influence of the factors perceived benefits, privacy concerns, trust in LinkedIn members and providers, perceived control, privacy awareness, perceived likelihood, and perceived severity on the self-disclosure behavior of LinkedIn users. This study uses a privacy calculus theoretical framework and an expansion of trust factors. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting 661 respondent data through a questionnaire distributed online. This study using the Covariance Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) method with AMOS 24.0 software. The results of this study show the factors that influence LinkedIn users to disclose professional information on LinkedIn in Indonesia are perceived benefits consisting of self-presentation, career advancement, developing professional networks, learning and exchange information, privacy concerns, perceived likelihood, perceived severity, trust in Linkedin members and perceived control.

Penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan hasil survei aktivitas manajemen informasi personal subjek penelitian mahasiswa S1 ilmu perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2018 yang dikirimkan pada periode waktu 26 November 2021 hingga 11 Maret 2022. Ditemukan aktivitas penyimpanan subjek penelitian bermasalah, dengan disimpannya informasi tidak berguna, dilupakannya informasi berguna, dan dikerahkannya upaya dalam menyusun informasi yang dimiliki subjek. Temuan masalah yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian digunakan sebagai desain dasar eksperimen penyimpanan, yang dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan aplikasi Google Meet. Diambil empat subjek penelitian, dengan setiap subjek mewakili tipe responden yang didapat sesuai dengan data hasil survei profil responden, dan subjek terakhir diambil secara acak. Setiap subjek diberikan satu akun Google Drive yang sudah diisi informasi terpilih, dan pada tahap pertama akun tersebut diminta untuk disusun berdasarkan kemampuan subjek. Pada tahap kedua, pencarian item pada akun yang dipegang oleh subjek dilakukan. Pada tahap ketiga, akun yang dipegang oleh subjek, diberikan kepada subjek lainnya secara berurutan, dan tahap kedua diulang. Ketika seluruh akun telah dicari oleh seluruh subjek, tahap terakhir dimulai dengan dimintanya penilaian setiap akun oleh seluruh subjek. Ditemukan kesepakatan akun yang termudah digunakan, dan akun yang tersulit digunakan oleh subjek penelitian. Hasil dalam bentuk kesepakatan ini digunakan dalam dibuatnya model konseptual sistem penyimpanan informasi. ......This study was made based on the results of the survey on personal information management activities of library science students with bachelor degrees at the University of Indonesia batch 2018 that was distributed from 26 November 2021 to 11 Maret 2022. It was found that the storing activity of research subjects was problematic, with useless information being stored, useful information being forgotten, and efforts being put into compiling the stored information. Problems experienced by the research subjects were used as the basic design for the information storing experiment, which was carried out online using the Google Meet application. Four research subjects were taken, with the first three subjects representing each type of respondent obtained in accordance with the data from the respondent profile survey, and the last subject was taken randomly. Each subject was given a Google Drive account that has been filled with selected information. At the first stage the subjects were tasked to arrange the accounts based on their abilities. At the second stage, the subjects were tasked to search for items on their held account. At the third stage, the accounts held by the subjects were assigned to other subjects in sequence, and the second stage was repeated. When all accounts have been searched by all subjects, the final stage begins with each subject being asked for an assessment of each account. It was found that all subjects agreed on the easiest account to use, and the majority of subjects agreed on the hardest account to use. The results in the form of this agreement are then used in making a conceptual model of information storage systems.

Penelitian terkait dengan pengungkapan yang terjadi di Instagram masih sedikit, padahal Indonesia merupakan pengguna Instagram terbesar di Asia – Pasifik. Penelitian ini ingin melihat faktor yang mempengaruhi keinginan pengguna Instagram dalam melakukan pengungkapan informasi pribadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan paradigma positivis. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM AMOS. Responden penelitian ini adalah pengguna Instagram berusia 18 – 34 tahun dengan jumlah responden 383. Variabel yang dijadikan prediktor dari keinginan untuk melakukan pengungkapan informasi adalah sikap, keuntungan, pemahaman risiko, dan pemahaman kontrol. Dari sepuluh hipotesis yang diajukan, 5 hipotesis ditolak. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa sikap memiliki pengaruh hanya pada pengungkapan informasi pribadi melalui perilaku komunikasi, tetapi tidak pada pengungkapan melalui profil. Keuntungan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pengungkapan informasi pribadi, baik melalui profil maupun melalui perilaku komunikasi. Pemahaman risiko memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap sikap. Akan tetapi variabel pemahaman risiko tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengungkapan informasi pribadi di Instagram. Pemahaman kontrol tidak berpengaruh pada sikap yang dimiliki oleh pengguna Instagram. Variabel pemahaman kontrol berpengaruh pada pengungkapan informasi pribadi melalui perilaku komunikasi, tetapi tidak pada pengungkapan informasi melalui profil. ......Indonesia is the largest Instagram user in Asia-Pacific, yet still lacking on research related to disclosure of personal information.  This study aims to examine the factors that influence the willingness of Instagram users to disclose personal information. The factors attitude, benefit, perceived risk, and perceived control are analyzed in relation with the willingness to disclose personal information. This study uses quantitative analysis with the positivist paradigm. Data was collected via an online survey that was completed by 383 Jabodetabek users with age range 18-34 years old.  The results of this study show that only five from 10 proposed hypothesis are accepted. Instagram users attitudes significantly influence the willingness to disclose personal information by communicative actions, but not to the willingness to disclose personal information by profile. Benefit significantly influence the willingness to disclose personal information, by profiles and by communicative action. Perceived risk significantly has a negative influence to the attitude. Perceived risk does not influnece the willingness to disclose personal information on Instagram. Perceived control does not influence to the attitudes of Instagram users. Perceived control significantly influence the willingness to disclose personal information by communicative action, but not to the willingness to disclose personal information by profile.

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengungkapan data pribadi ke aplikasi mobile wallet di Indonesia menggunakan privacy calculus theory. Jumlah pengguna aplikasi mobile wallet semakin meningkat dan untuk menggunakan fitur lanjutan dari aplikasi ini, memberikan informasi pribadi tidak dapat dihindari, terlepas dari fenomena kebocoran informasi yang terjadi beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Studi perilaku konsumen yang sebenarnya dalam mengungkapkan data pribadi hingga saat ini masih terbatas. Untuk melengkapi literatur, penelitian ini akan mengadopsi privacy calculus theory dalam konteks aplikasi mobile wallet. Hasil self-administered survey yang dikumpulkan dari 294 individu pengguna aplikasi mobile wallet diolah menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat tetap mengungkapkan informasi pribadinya untuk mendapatkan keuntungan (benefit) meskipun ada risiko yang dirasakan. Immediate gratification menunjukkan pengaruh terbesar dalam pengungkapan data pribadi pelanggan. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan kepada perusahaan aplikasi mobile wallet untuk lebih memahami perilaku penggunanya dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi. Mengingat pentingnya data pelanggan, temuan ini dapat membantu para pelaku usaha untuk menyesuaikan penawaran mereka dan meminimalkan risiko privasi bagi pelanggan. ......This study investigates factors affecting individual’s information privacy disclosure in the context of mobile wallet applications in Indonesia by adopting privacy calculus theory. Number of mobile wallet applications users are increasing and to use advanced features of these applications, providing personal information is inevitable regardless the phenomenon of information leakage occurred these past few years. There are limited studies on the actual behavior of consumer in disclosing their information. To supplement the literature, this study will adopt privacy calculus in the context of mobile wallet. The proposed model is using self-administered survey data collected from 294 individuals who use mobile wallet application using PLS-SEM. The result indicates that people still disclose their personal information to obtain benefit even though there are perceived risks occurs. Instant gratification shows the biggest influence in customers’ personal information disclosure. The findings provide insight to the mobile wallet application companies to better understand the behavior of their users in disclosing personal information. Given the importance of customer data, these finding may help these actors to tailor their offers and minimize privacy risk to customers.

Di tengah maraknya penggunaan internet di Indonesia, berkembang pula strategi personalisasi yang merupakan strategi tailor-made yang dibuat khusus menyesuaikan pengalaman pribadi dan keinginan masing-masing konsumen menggunakan informasi dan pengetahuan yang mendalam mengenai konsumennya. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma post-positivisme, penelitian ini membahas mengenai keterlibatan konsumen dalam melakukan pengungkapan informasi personal. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses keterlibatan konsumen dalam melakukan pengungkapan informasi personalnya tidak terlepas dari aspek-aspek konsumen seperti kepuasan, kepercayaan, identitas konsumen, tujuan konsumen, sumber daya yang dimiliki, dan analisis terhadap biaya dan manfaat yang didapatkan. Brand juga melakukan upaya untuk menciptakan keterlibatan konsumen dengan menyediakan fitur- fitur personalisasi dan pelayanan yang maksimal untuk meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen. Apabila strategi personalisasi yang dilakukan oleh brand tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi konsumen, maka akan berpotensi menimbulkan perasaan bahwa brand menginvasi privasi konsumennya. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap bahwa aspek- aspek konsumen yang disebutkan di atas yang mendorong konsumen untuk menentukan intensitas berinteraksi dengan brand. Semakin besar intensitas maka semakin besar juga keterlibatan konsumen terhadap brand. Pola yang berulang akan berujung pada pembentukan loyalitas dimana konsumen menginvestasikan kepercayaan, komitmen, dan partisipasi dalam hubungannya dengan brand, termasuk dalam mengungkapkan informasi personalnya.Kata kunci:Ketelibatan konsumen, personalisasi, informasi personal, loyalitas brand.
ABSTRACT
In the midst of the increasing of internet usage in Indonesia, personalization has also grown rapidly mdash a strategy that is tailor made based on personal experiences and preferences of each consumer. Using qualitative method and post positivism paragidm, this research mainly talks about personal information disclosure as a form of costumer engagement. Studies finds that costumer engagement influenced by satisfaction, trusts, commitment, identity, costumer goals, resources, and cost benefit analysis. Brand also make an effort to engage with their costumer by providing them personalized features and also give the best services to maximize costumer satisfaction. If personalization done in a wrong way, where personalization efforts doesn rsquo t meet customer expectation, it can potentially cause privacy invansion. This research also give a deep analysis about aspects that influence intensity using the brand. High intensity using the brand give opportunity for costumer to interacts with brand more frequently. These interactions will lead to create costumer loyalty where costumer invest trust, commitment, and participation in the relationship with brand, including disclosing their personal information.Keywords Customer engagement, personalization, personal information, brand loyalty

This article seeks to discuss the impact on privacy of personal information when the state couple big data technology with public measures to conduct massive metadata surveillance without targeting specific persons or having a specific purpose to surveil. Methodologically, this article employs constitutional law and comparative legal analysis to critically examine litigation in the U.S. triggered by government mass surveillance and establishes a conceptual category of “government mass surveillance,” which exhibit several elements. This is followed by an examination of the theoretical development and practical experience drawn from several seminal cases of the U.S. Federal Courts. This article found that the treasure trove of litigation in the U.S. Federal Courts have significantly changed people’s perceptions and presumptions of privacy. The 2013 Snowden disclosures profoundly revealed that the federal judiciary of the U.S. is confronted by the inherent defects and deficiencies embedded in the theoretical framework of “reasonable expectations of privacy” and “third-party doctrine,” which was established in the 1980s and based on the dichotomy of the public / private domain. This article further introduces the “mosaic theory” as a supplementary interpretative approach and evaluates its enlightening significance. This article concludes that the rigorous debate between the U.S. federal court’s judgment and American legal scholarship not only outlines the difficulty and urgency of reclaiming informational privacy in the era of big data, but also dictates a paradigm shift in our expectation of informational privacy toward a less standardized and more flexible interpretation. These insightful lessons should inform Taiwanese courts as they respond to prevailing issues presented by government mass surveillance.

Kebutuhan akan informasi baik memperoleh ataupun melindungi informasi menjadi hak dasar manusia. Hal ini selaras dengan dinamika yang terjadi di masyarakat dimana berdasarkan data permohonan sengketa informasi publik di Komisi Informasi Pusat didapati bahwa permohonan sengketa informasi publik dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan oktober 2022 naik signifikan 44.9%. Di satu sisi hal ini mencerminkan kemudahan akes akan informasi publik namun disisi lain menunjukan adanya pertentangan yang belum selesai antara Badan Publik dengan masyarakat selaku pemohon informasi publik. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode komparatif yaitu penulis membandingkan dengan Amerika Serikat yang telah melaksanakan penerapan keterbukaan informasi publik lebih dari separuh abad dan dalam pelaksanaannya dapat menjaga keseimbangan antara pemenuhan hak untuk mengetahui dengan perlindungan terhadap kerahasiaan informasi. oleh karena itu perbandingan ini penting agar peraturan mengenai keterbukaan informasi publik bermanfaat baik bagi keterbukaan informasi maupun perlindungan informasi. ......Whether obtaining or protecting information, the need for information is a basic human right. This is in line with the dynamics that occur in a society where based on data on requests for public information disputes at the Central Information Commission, request for public information disputes from 2021 to October 2022 have increased significantly by 44.9%. On the one hand, this reflects the ease of access to public information, but on the other hand, it shows that there is an unresolved conflict between the Public Agency and the public as applicants for public information. This writing uses a comparative method, namely, the author compares with the United States which has carried out the application of public information disclosure for more than half a century and in its implementation can maintain a balance between fulfilling the right to know and protecting the confidentiality of information. Therefore, this comparison is important so that regulations regarding public information disclosure are beneficial for both information disclosure and information protection.
