"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran atau persepsi karyawan Perusahaan terhadap kompetensi perusahaannya dalam aspek peningkatan mutu dan pembelajaran yang diperlukan dalam meraih dan mempertahankan posisi persaingan di era kompetisi yang ketat.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan mengambil studi kasus pada Perusahaan GUF yang bergerak di bidang engineering, procurement, dan construction anjungan lepas pantai (offshore platform). Sampel diambil secara random sebanyak 110 orang dari 150 orang karyawan.
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian adalah Learning Organization Profile (LOP) untuk mengukur variabel tingkat penerapan pembelajaran, serta Kriteria Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) untuk mengukur variabel peningkatan mutu. Untuk mengukur variabel-variabel tersebut digunakan skala model Likert.
Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa karyawan yang menyatakan pembelajaran telah diterapkan pada sebagian kecil perusahaan sebanyak 30,18%, belum diterapkan sebanyak 28,98%, dan diterapkan pada bagianbagian tertentu sebanyak 22,11%. Selebihnya, sebesar 18,73% menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran telah diterapkan pada sebagian besar dan diterapkan sepenuhnya.
Selain itu, karyawan yang menyatakan setuju terhadap peningkatan mutu di Perusahaan GUF sebanyak 48,41% dan yang menyatakan tidak setuju sebanyak 39,77%, serta sisanya (11,82%) menyatakan tidak ada pendapat.
Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan rendahnya tingkat penerapan pembelajaran (learning), usaha-usaha yang mengarah pada peningkatan/perbaikan mutu berkelanjutan (continuous quality improvement) di Perusahaan GUF masih memiliki kelemahan-kelemahan yang mendasar."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh unit Pusat Pelayanan Bahan Ajar di Universitas Terbuka untuk peningkatan kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa unit Pusat Pelayanan Bahan Ajar perlu menjaga kualitas pelayanan yang sudah dicapai terhadap para pelanggannya dengan upaya-upaya dan controlling yang sudah ada sekarang, sehingga peningkatan kualitas itu ditingkatkan secara terus menerus (continous quality improvement) dalam memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan yang diinginkan.

This Skripsi study concerning efforts done by unit Materials Learning Service Center in Open University for the improvement of service quality. This research is the qualitative research with descriptive design. The researcher result suggest that unit Material Learning Service Center is need to pay attention of the quality of service which have already reached to all their customers with the efforts and controlling too, so that improvement was improved continually (continous quality improvement) in fulfilling satisfaction of customers needs."

"This study aims to identify the objective read of the school needs objectively which can be taken into account in determining policy intervention through educational planning. The specific aims of the study are to obtain information on : a) teacher characteristics perceived as determinants of teacher quality b) teacher quality which focuses on their competence in teaching and learning process and need assessment of teacher training. Findings of the study show that there are many teachers whose educational backgrounds did not match with the subject they teach (mismatch). This especially true in the case of private junior and senior secondary school teachers. There was a concern on the mastery of primary school teachers in the subjects they teach. At the junior and senior levels most of the teachers had the mastery in the subjects they teach. Attempts to improve teacher professionalism were conducted through training. However, more that two fifth of teacher did not participate in any training. Training on how to develop curriculum and tests were needed by most of Islamic primary, junior secondary and senior secondary teachers who had non-teching qualification background. "

"Tesis dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif design studi kasus bertujuan menganalisis sejauh mana implementasi dari learning organization di Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat terakreditasi dasar yang berupaya melakukan peningkatan mutu pelayanan tetapi mampu mendapatkan prestasi pada penilaian pelayanan oleh Bupati dibandingkan Puskesmas yang paripurna di Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil survei terhadap pelaksanaan akreditasi diperoleh kesenjangan tertinggi pada masalah mutu pelayanan dimana mutu Puskesmas akan mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien, loyalitas dan keselamatan pasien. Untuk itu organisasi yang telah memiliki pengalaman proses penilaian untuk pengakuanĀ  standar mutu maka dengan menggunakan segitiga Donabedian, lazim melakukan pengembangan organisasi dengan menggunakan pembelajaran dari struktur berupa kesadaran sumber daya manusia Puskesmas untuk selalu meningkatkan kapasitas diri yang akan berdampak pada kemudahan bekerja sama baik antar individu maupun kelompok program sehingga tercipta kerjasama kelompok (teamwork) dan komitmen yang baik untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah disepakatiĀ  dalam upaya peningkatan mutu yang akan memenuhi kepuasan pasien dan memberikan prosedur pelayanan yang aman. Konsep learning organization (LO) yang utuh akan berdampak pada implemetasi LO saat proses perencanaan peningkatan mutu melalui PDSA. Hasil didapatkan bahwa pemenuhan terhadap lima elemen pembentukĀ LO didominasi elemen dinamika belajar dan transformasi organisasi yang akan mendorong pemberdayaan manusia, pengelolaan pengetahuan dan penguatan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam mencapai hasil kinerja yang baik pada peningkatan mutu. Puskesmas terakreditasi paripurna berhasil mengimplementasikan keseluruhan konsep LO dimana dinamika belajar dan transformasi organisasi yang kuat akan mendukung elemen pengembangan sumber daya manusia, pengelolaan pengetahuan dan pemanfaatan teknologi karena adanya kerjasama dan komitmen sangat kuat didukung dialog intens sehingga mampu mencapai tingkat learning organization antisipatif dibandingkan Puskesmas terakreditasi dasar yang banyak menemui kendala dalam implementasi LO. Dengan demikian implementasi LO akan mempermudah Puskesmas melakukan proses PD-C/S-A untuk membuat peningkatan mutu Puskesmas yang mempengaruhi peningkatan status akreditasi. Saran untuk mengupayakan pelatihan yang menyenangkan dan berkelanjutan serta adanya sistem penghargaan yang baik pada individu mampu meningkatkan motivasi petugas untuk selalu mendiskusikan ide kreatif dan inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan dan kendala pelayanan di puskesmas.

The thesis with a qualitative research approach, case study design aims to analyze the extent to which the implementation of a learning organization in a basic accredited Community Health Center seeks to improve service quality but is able to get achievements in service assessment by the Regent compared to a complete Puskesmas in Bogor Regency. The results of the survey on the implementation of accreditation obtained the highest gap on service quality issues where the quality of the Puskesmas will affect patient satisfaction, loyalty and patient safety. For this reason, organizations that already have experience in the assessment process for the recognition of quality standards, using the Donabedian triangle, usually carry out organizational development by using learning from structures in the form of awareness of Puskesmas human resources to always increase self-capacity which will have an impact on the ease of working together both between individuals and groups. program groups so as to create teamwork and good commitment to achieve the agreed goals in an effort to improve quality that will meet patient satisfaction and provide safe service procedures. The concept of a complete learning organization (LO) will have an impact on the implementation of LO during the quality improvement planning process through PDSA. The results show that the fulfillment of the five elements that make up the LO is dominated by elements of learning dynamics and organizational transformation that will encourage human empowerment, knowledge management and strengthening the use of technology in achieving good performance results in quality improvement. Plenary accredited health centers have successfully implemented the whole LO concept where strong learning dynamics and organizational transformation will support elements of human resource development, knowledge management and technology utilization because of the very strong collaboration and commitment supported by intense dialogue so as to achieve the level of anticipatory learning organization compared to basic accredited health centers which encountered many obstacles in the implementation of LO. Thus, the implementation of the LO will make it easier for the Puskesmas to carry out the PD-C/S-A process to improve the quality of the Puskesmas which affects the increase in accreditation status. Suggestions for pursuing fun and sustainable training and having a good reward system for individuals can increase the motivation of officers to always discuss creative and innovative ideas in facing challenges and obstacles to services at the puskesmas."

Salah satu metode peningkatan kualitas yang sering digunakan adalah six sigma dengan pendekatan Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC). There are many quality improvement methods that can be used, one of them is six sigma with Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) approach. Six sigma stages enable companies to identify the problem, measure current process capability, identify potential causes of variation, and helps companies to arrange the action plans to reduce the failure modes.
Study result shows that process has 3 sigma level of capability which is need an improvement. Process capability improvement was started with identified potential causes by using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods and applied action plans to failure mode with highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) rank.

"Kualitas memiliki peranan penting dalam dunia industri, perusahaan yang mampu bersaing adalah perusahaan yang dapat mempertahankan kualitasnya dan mampu memenuhi keinginan pelanggan. Metode peningkatan kualitas salah satunya adalah Six Sigma. Six Sigma memiliki fokus pada mengurangi tingkat cacat, dengan mencapai standar 3,4 cacat perjuta peluang, Six Sigma memiliki 5 fase, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improvement dan Control (DMAIC) . Pada penelitian ini, Six Sigma di terapkan di bagian Tube Mill, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas dengan cara mengatasi dan mengurangi banyaknya cacat yang timbul. Hasil penelitian ini di dapat bahwa nilai sigma bagian tube mill adalah 4 dan 3,9 yang ekuivalen dengan nilai indeks kapabilitas 1.3 kemampuan proses produksi dalam batas spesifikasi yang diinginkan pelanggan dan memiliki kapabilitas yang cukup baik tetapi masih diperlukan perbaikan guna mencapai perusahaan kelas dunia.

"Seiring dengan persaingan pasar bebas saat ini, banyak perusahaan yang saling berlomba menjadi yang terbaik. Termasuk PT. X dengan produk alat beratnya. Dengan persaingan tersebut, menuntut PT. X untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas produk yang dihasilkannya. Dan dengan didukung oleh elemen-elemen yang ada pada proses bisnis PT. X, termasuk pasokan material. Untuk itu, pengukuran performa pemasok perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui sebaik apa performa yang sudah dibuat, khususnya pemasok lokal. Selain itu, performa yang ada saat ini harus ditelaah sehingga bisa diketahui akar masalah yang terjadi, dan diajukan usulan-usulan perbaikan untuk membuat performa pemasok lokal menjadi lebih baik.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Six Sigma dalam menelaah performa pemasok di PT. X, dan penerapan diharapkan dapat memperbaiki performa pemasok lokal. Performa pemasok dianggap baik apabila mencapai nihil cacat. Berdasarkan pengukuran yang dilakukan, performa pemasok lokal baru mencapai 4.95? atau 278 DPMO, dan menyebabkan COPQ sebesar US$20,419. Dengan performa saat ini, kontribusi terbesar dari PT. Y yang hanya mencapai 4.66? atau 764 DPMO, dan menyebabkan COPQ sebesar 63% dari seluruh COPQ. Dari data-data yang dikumpulkan, dilakukanlah analisis dan didapatkan akar masalah yang terjadi. Lalu diajukan usulan-usulan solusi yang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki performa PT. Y dan dilakukan simulasi menggunakan metode monte carlo untuk melihat perubahan variasi dengan adanya proyek yang dilakukan.

Along with the free trade competition, many of company compete to be the best. There is PT. X which is manufacture a heavy equipment products. Within competition, requires PT. X to continuously improve the product quality. And it is supported by all elements in PT. X's business process, include qualified incoming material. Therefore performance measurements require to be done to know how well performance is made, especially for a local supplier. Moreover, current performance need to be analyzed with the aim of finding the root causes and recommend solution ideas that will make local suppliers performance better.
In this research, six sigma methods used in analyzing local supplier performance at PT. X which is expected to improve the quality performance. Supplier performance considered as good when it can achieve zero defect. Based on the measurement, the current supplier performance is only at 4.95? or 278 DPMO, with COPQ of US$20,419. With this performance, the biggest contributor is PT. Y which achieves only 4.66? or 764 DPMO, and takes 63% of total COPQ. From the existing data, analysis is conducted and the root causes found. Finally, the solution recommendations proposed to improve PT. Y performance and simulated by using monte carlo method to see the variation changes.
