"Pijat merupakan terapi sentuh tertua dalam metode pengobatan sejak lama. Tesis ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh terapi pijat terhadap bilirubin pada bayi hiperbilirubinemia yang menjalani fototerapi. Desain penelitian adalah quasi experiment nonequivalent control group, before-after design. Jumlah sampel 30 orang diambil secara non probability jenis consecutive samplin. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perberdaan bermaksan rata-rata penurunan level total serum bilirubin (TSB) pada kelompok kontrol dan intervensi sebesar 1,5mg/dL (p<0,05). Terapi pijat berpengaruh pada bayi yang mendapat fototerapi single. Dari hasil multivariat didapatkan bahwa jenis fototerapi paling berpengaruh terhadap penurunan level bilirubin. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan penelitian lanjut tentang pengaruh terapi pijat terhadap perilaku bayi hiperbilirubinemia yang di fototerapi.

Massage is the oldest touch therapy that used on the treatment since long ago. This thesis aims to determine the influence of massage therapy with bilirubin level on hyperbilirubinemia infant who undergoing phototherapy. The research design is quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group, before-after design. The samples were 30 infants that taken by non-probability method of consecutive sampling. Results showed that there were significant differences an average decrease of Total Serum Bilirubin (TSB) on control and intervention group 1,5mg/dL (p=0,05). Massage therapy were influence to infant who undergoing single phototherapy. The multivariate analyze showed that kind of phototherapy is the most influences to total serum bilirubin decrease. The results recommend further studies about the influence of massage therapy to infant behaviour as long as phototherapy."

"Anak dengan pneumonia dapat mengalami gangguan tidur dan kecemasan. Intervensi keperawatan untuk meningkatkan relaksasi dan tidur adalah terapi pijat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi pijat terhadap lama tidur, frekuensi bangun di malam hari, nadi dan laju pernapasan pada anak balita dengan pneumonia. Desain penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan jumlah total sampel 34 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok kontrol dan intervensi dalam peningkatan lama tidur anak (p=0,004) dan penurunan nadi (p=0,001). Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan penggunaan terapi pijat dalam asuhan keperawatan anak dengan pneumonia untuk memfasilitasi relaksasi dan tidur pada anak. Periode tidur yang adekuat untuk konservasi energi dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan.

Children with pneumonia may have sleep disturbance and anxiety. Massage therapy is one of nursing intervention that can improve sleep and relaxation. The purpose of research was to determine the effect of massage therapy on sleep duration, night awakenings, pulse and respiration rate in children under five with pneumonia. Design of study is quasi experimental with 17 samples in each groups. Purposive sampling is method to collect data. Comparing between intervention and control groups, the result found that massage therapy significantly increase in sleep duration (p=0,004) and decreased in pulse (p=0,001). These finding supports the use of massage therapy to facilitate sleep and relaxation in children with pneumonia. Periods of sleep can conserve energy and restore a healing process."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi pijat terhadap beratbadan dan lama rawat BBLR yang menjalani perawatan di ruangan perinatologi.Disain penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment nonequivalent control group,before-after design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 27 bayi, diambil secara consecutivesampling. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna rata-ratapeningkatan berat badan pada kelompok kontrol dan intervensi (p=0,039<0,05);tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna rata-rata lama rawat pada kelompokkontrol dan intervensi (p=0,795>0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jeniskelamin mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna terhadap peningkatan berat badan;usia gestasi, umur, berat lahir, dan jenis kelamin, mempunyai hubungan yangbermakna terhadap lama rawat. Peneliti merekomendasikan penelitian lanjuttentang pengaruh terapi pijat dengan desain yang berbeda.

The research aimed to identify the effect of massage therapy to body weight and

the length of stay of baby with low birth weight in Neonatal room. The design was

quasi experiment non equivalent control group, before and after design. The

amount of sample are 27 by using consecutive sampling .The result of this

research that there was significant mean difference of weight gain in control group

and intervention group (p=0,039<0,05); there was no significant length of stay

mean’s difference between control group and intervention group (p=0,795>0,05).

The result analysis show that there was significant correlation between sex and

weight gain , and corelation between gestation age, baby’s age, weight at birth,

and sex to the length of stay. The researcher recommended the continuity research

about the effect of baby massage therapy with various design."

"Kelahiran prematur merupakan tantangan serius bagi ibu postpartum, karena dapat menjadi salah satu penyebab kurangnya produksi maupun pengeluaran ASI. Terapi pijat punggung dan payudara telah diakui sebagai metode yang mungkin meningkatkan pengeluaran ASI, namun belum banyak penelitian yang mengkaji penerapannya pada ibu postpartum dengan bayi prematur. Sehingga, kaya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas intervensi tersebut dalam meningkatkan pengeluaran ASI pada klien postpartum dengan bayi prematur. Adapun klien pada kasus merupakan Ny. T berusia 26 tahun pasca tindakan sectio caesarea pada usia gestasi 30 minggu. Pada saat dilakukan pengkajian, ASI klien belum keluar, tetapi klien memiliki keinginan untuk menyusui bayinya. Oleh karena itu, diagnosa keperawatan utama yang diangkat pada kasus adalah ketidakefektifan pemberian ASI. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan memberikan intervensi pijat punggung dan payudara kepada klien selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Hasil evaluasi yang didapat setelah menerapkan intervensi tersebut adalah adanya peningkatan jumlah ASI yang keluar dari tidak ada pengeluaran pada hari pertama menjadi 100 ml pada hari ketiga.

Premature birth is a serious challenge for postpartum mothers, because it can be one of the causes of lack of milk production and excretion. Back and breast massage therapy has been recognized as a method that might increase breast milk production, but there has not been much research examining its application in postpartum mothers with premature babies. Thus, this professional final assignment aims to evaluate the effectiveness of this intervention in increasing breast milk production in postpartum clients with premature babies. The client in the case is Mrs. T is 26 years old after having a caesarean section at 30 weeks' gestation. At the time of the assessment, the client's breast milk had not yet come in, but the client had the desire to breastfeed her baby. Therefore, the main nursing diagnosis raised in the case ineffective  breastfeeding. The method used is a case study by providing back and breast massage interventions to clients for 3 consecutive days. The evaluation results obtained after implementing this intervention were an increase in the amount of breast milk coming out from nothing on the first day to 100 ml on the third day."
