"Indonesia is a fast growing market for motorcycle industry. This condition interests many top motorcycle companies to invest their bucks in Indonesia. No wonder that the competition in this field sector can?t be denied. It forces a company to think about how they can beat their competitors. The development of technology is not enough, company needs marketing strategic to face this.
Experiential marketing is a marketing strategy that gives customer more than just feature and benefit. Yamaha Mio implements this marketing strategy, so they try to stimulate customer?s senses, touches customer?s feeling, intrigues customer?s creative thinking, fits customer?s lifestyle, and make them proud of it. The bottom line of this strategy is touches customer?s emotion through consumption experience.
Previous research commissioned by MICE in 2006 found that 74% senior brand marketers believe that experiential marketing is the most effective way to encourage word of mouth. This research tries to find the experiential marketing effects to word of mouth from customer?s perspective. When customers feel memorable experience through experiential marketing, they tend to tell about their consumption experience to others or spreading word of mouth.
There are three research questions of this research. First is about how experiential marketing implementation?s rate of Yamaha Mio?s customer. Second is about word of mouth rate of Yamaha Mio?s customer. Third is about how Yamaha Mio?s experiential marketing effects consumer word of mouth.
This research is using quantitative approach. The type of research in this research is explanative research with cross sectional time dimension. In collecting data, researcher uses survey method with the non-probability sampling technique (purposive / judgemental).
This research gives practical implication for Yamaha that experiential marketing of Yamaha Mio ? according to customer perception, has the good value. It showed by the average value of each dimension. Moreover, for the word of mouth, customer also gives the good rate on it. The result indicates that experiential marketing has a significant effect on customer?s word of mouth.

"In May 2007, Pertamina started a program as a result of the high price of world crude oil. The new program is called energy conversion year 2007, which converts the consumption of kerosene to LPG of households and small industrie in Jakarta and surroundings. Like any other campaign, the objective of this program is to change the behavior of the target adopters, in this case buying behavior of kerosene to LPG. In order to accelerate the campaign, Pertamina
uses some tools to communicate the idea to the target adopters. One of the tools is using Public Service Advertising (PSA) on television. Using television as the communication medium gives some advantages in delivering the social idea, namely combining the function of audio and visual, as well as reaching a wide range of audience at once. By using PSA on television, Pertamina expect the
target adopter to comprehend the message content the same way they do. Consequently, the attention of this study is to discover the perception of target adopters toward PSA on television. This is a descriptive study with quantitative approach, which uses survey with questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The results were statistically analyzed by using frequency tables and mean. In
analyzing the data, the variables of exposure to PSA is derived into
product/message thoughts, source oriented thoughts, and ad execution thoughts. This study concludes that the target adopters already have good perception on the PSA. In the dimension of product/message thoughts, one-sided-message of a PSA is the most attractive of all dimensions that indicates message structures
and contents. For the second dimension, source oriented thoughts, similarity between source and target adopters could increase the level of certainty of the target adopters. Last but not least, using the music that the target adopters fond of could create a positive reaction upon the PSA. According to the results that this study concludes, marketer as well as ads agency should pay more attention
on those indicators to create a good perception on the PSA and Pertamina also have to pay more attention on the quality of the product that is percept by the target adopters to generate a buying behavior.

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang komunitas motor Jakarta Mio Club dalam mempengaruhi loyalitas merek pada Yamaha Mio. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tujuan menjelaskan hubungan dua variable yakni Brand Community sebagai variable independen dan loyalitas merek sebagai variable dependen. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada anggota komunitas Jakarta Mio Club di Jakarta.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand community memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas merek. Namun demikian peneliti menyarankan agar penggunaan brand community terhadap loyalitas merek disertai dengan penerapan komunikasi pemasaran lainnya.

This study discusses motorcycle community in Jakarta Mio Club brand loyalty influence on Yamaha Mio. Research using this quantitative approach with the goal of explaining the relationship of two variables Brand Community as the independent variable and brand loyalty as the dependent variable. Data obtained in this research through the distribution of questionnaires to members of the community Mio Club Jakarta in Jakarta.
Results of research indicate that the brand community has a significant influence on brand loyalty. However, researchers suggested that the use of brand loyalty to the community along with the implementation of other marketing communications.

"Place marketing merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan nilai dari suatu lokasi atau tempat, baik itu gedung, pulau, kota atau bahkan negara. Kota depok yang terletak di perbatasan Jawa Barat dan DKI Jakarta merupakan tempat yang strategis untuk dapat menarik kunjungan orang-orang di sekitarnya. Penelitian tentang analisis pelaksanaan place marketing Kota Depok (studi kasus: upaya Kota Depok menarik kunjungan wisatawan) bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan bauran-bauran place marketing oleh Kota Depok untuk bisa menarik kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Depok. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi Kota Depok dalam menarik kunjungan wisatawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis, pendekatan kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kota Depok belum sepenuhnya melaksanakan place marketing dalam rangka menarik kunjungan wisatawan.

Place marketing is one of the best concept to apply in order to increase the value of one location, whether it is a building, an island, a city, or even a nation. Depok city located within the border of West Java and DKI Jakarta. Thus made it strategic place to gather the interest of people surround it. Tourist or the people who purposively go to a place to get some pleasure has been known widely as a tool to increase city revenue. In addition of that, the purpose of this research is to address the application of place marketing mixes in order to attract tourist for coming to Depok city and the obstacles surround it. Constructivist paradigm was used in this research with qualitative approach. All data was collected by using deeply interview, participative observation, and literature study. The result of this research showed that Depok city government has not yet entirely apply place marketing concept on their planning to attract tourist visitation."

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan satu variabel yakni terpaan iklan. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden yang merupakan mahasiswi Universitas Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terpaan iklan memiliki persepsi yang baik atas kegiatan pemasaran Pond?s Flawless White. Namun demikian peneliti menyarankan agar komunikasi pemasaran melalui iklan televisi ini dapat terus dilakukan dengan tema yang lebih kreatif dan bintang iklan yang berimage baik dan representatif agar produk Pond?s Flawless White dapat terus berada dalam benak konsumen.

This research examines how much perception exposure to advertisement as one of the media promotion of products Pond's Flawless White served by Unilever Indonesia of the Unilever brand. This study uses a quantitative approach with the aim of explaining the one variable is exposure to advertisement. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires to the respondents who are students of Lampung University. The results showed that the charge on advertising has a significant perception on audiences. However, researchers suggest that marketing communication through television advertising can be continued with a more creative themes and commercials are good and representative image about product brand Pond's Flawless White can be sustain on their mind. The writer would suggest to PT Unilever Indonesia to keep always innovative and develop the product."

"Dari sekian banyak cara untuk membangun brand image di dunia maya, penempatan iklan online pada suatu website telah menjadi suatu cara yang paling jitu dan paling banyak digunakan oleh para pengiklan. Meskipun penggunaannya telah sangat sering dan meluas, belum diketahui dengan jelas bahaya dan kerugian yang diakibatkan terhadap website yang menjadi host suatu iklan, khususnya dari sudut pandang pengakses situs yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap mereka atas website tersebut. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menelaah isu tersebut dengan mengkaji lebih dalam pada aspek kongruitas iklan online terhadap sikap kinsmen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penggunaan regresi sederhana sebagai metode analisisnya. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui metode survey terhadap 100 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa, meskipun terdapat pengaruh kongruitas iklan online terhadap sikap konsumen, pengaruh yang ditimbulkan sangatlah sedikit atau dengan kata lain tidak begitu signifikan.

Of the many approaches to build a brand image on the internet, the placement of online advertising on the website has become one of the best way to enhance it. While the usage of online advertisement has been high and widespread, it is unclear whether the placement will cause harm or disadvantage for it's host website, especially from the way of visitor look at it in the way it could resulted in the change of their attitude towards the host website. This study addresses this issue by investigating the impact of online advertising placement and it?s congruity with the host website towards consumer attitude. This research used quantitative approach. As for the research analysis, simple regressions method was used. The primary data were collected through survey method with purposive sampling method using questionnaire given to 100 respondents. The result of this research indicate that online advertising congruity has such an insignificant impact towards consumer attitude. In addition of that, online advertising congruity indeed has some effect towards consumer attitude."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai peran brand community dalam komunitas pengguna Honda nova sonic Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran brand community pada komunitas Honda nova sonic Jakarta, dengan meneliti sejauh mana komponen-komponen brand community berpengaruh terhadap komunitas Jakarta nova sonic club. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif dan diuraikan secara deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah Brand community menjadi pembentuk karakter dan keberlanjutan konsistensi komunitas yang berasal dari para anggotanya sehingga terjadi kesetiaan pada merek. Serta tetap menanamkan merek Nova Sonic di dalam benak penggemarnya walaupun merek nova sonic sudah sulit ditemukan yang dapat berakibat dengan timbulnya loyalitas terhadap merek nova sonic. Brand Community juga dapat menjadi promosi dan pemasaran produk, inovasi, peningkatan citra brand, citra produk, citra produsen, peningkatan angka penjualan bagi produsen serta terbentuknya loyalitas konsumen.

This paper discusses about role of brand community within a community of users Honda Nova Sonic Jakarta. The backgroun of this study was determinig how the role of brand community on the Honda Nova Sonic jakarta community, by examining how far to which the components of brand community influence to the community of Jakarta Nova Sonic Club. This research is qualitative with design descriptive.
The result of this study are brand community into forming character consistency and sustainability of community that comes from its members resulting in loyalty to the brand. And still instill Nova Sonic brand in the mind of fans despite the Nova Sonic brand is hard to find which could result in the emergence of loyalty to the nova sonic brand. Brand community can also be a promotion and the marketing of products, innovation, the improved brand image, the product image, the image producer, increased sales for manumactures as well as the formation of consumer loyalty.

"Organization-Public Relationship (OPR) merupakan konsep public relations yang menunjukkan peran utama public relations adalah menjalin dan memelihara hubungan baik dengan publiknya. Dalam pelayanan jasa transportasi udara, PT Angkasa Pura II dan maskapai penerbangan melakukan hubungan kerja sama dan pembinaan hubungan baik dapat meningkatkan kedekatan hubungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan OPR yang dilakukan public relations melalui cara pembinaan hubungan dan mengetahui outcome dari pelaksanaan OPR.
Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma post-positivis, pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan strategi studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan OPR telah dilakukan public relations PT Angkasa Pura II dan outcome yang dihasilkan secara keseluruhan cukup baik yang memberikan kepuasan dan kepercayaan maskapai penerbangan.

Organization-Public Relationship (OPR) is the concept of public relations that indicate the primary role of public relations is to establish and maintain good relations with the public. In air transportation services, PT Angkasa Pura II and airlines do a cooperative relationship and fostering good relations can improve their relationships. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of OPR conducted by public relations through fostering relationships and knowing the outcome of the implementation of the OPR.
This study uses post positivism paradigm, descriptive qualitative approach using case study strategy. Data collection methods used are in depth interview, observation, and documentation study. The result showed that the implementation of the OPR has been conducted by public relations of PT Angkasa Pura II and overall outcome is good enough to give satisfaction and trustworthiness in airlines.

"Humas memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menjaga reputasi kinerja sebuah organisasi. Pentingnya peran humas ini sangat dibutuhkan pada lembaga negara, khususnya lembaga legislatif Indonesia (DPR RI) yang saat ini banyak dilanda pemberitaan negatif. Peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana peran humas DPR RI dalam menjaga reputasi kinerja anggota DPR RI dan hambatanhambatan apa saja yang dihadapi humas dalam melakukan peran ini. Penelitian kualitatif ini bersifat deskriptif dengan strategi studi kasus dan menggunakan teknik analisa tematik.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa humas DPR RI telah melakukan berbagai strategi komunikasi dalam menjaga reputasi kinerja anggota DPR, diantaranya penerbitan Majalah & Bulletin Parlementaria, blocking rubric, TV Parlemen, Website DPR, Konferensi Pers, dan Parlemen Remaja. Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi humas diantaranya tidak adanya komunikasi antara humas dan anggota DPR, struktur dan birokrasi humas yang jauh dari strategis, dan media relations yang rendah."
